THE GOD WHO ANSWERS PRAYER.
Psalm 65:2-5.
One reason why we pray is to lubricate our relationship with God. Another reason we pray is because we are sure of answers. Church Gist. One reason we pray is to strengthen our relationship with God because relationships thrive with communication. Church Gist. Another reason we pray is because we are sure we shall be answered.
The God who answers prayer does the following for us on the basis of Scriptures:
- The purging of transgression: Psalm 65:3.
- The blessing of the Lord: when we come to God in prayer, we are assured of the release of His blessings.
- The Presence of the Lord: the man of prayer stands in the presence of God. 1 Kings 17:1.
The woman of prayer stands in the Presence of God. - Satisfaction with His goodness: A prayerful man must be a satisfied man. A prayerful woman must be a satisfied woman. Psalm 65:4.
- The terrifying acts of His righteousness: when God answers us, He does things that frighten people. Church Gist. God will do things in this season that will frighten those who know you, frighten those who hate you, that will frighten the haters of the Church, the haters of this church, and those who are ignorant of who God is in Nigeria. Church Gist. They will see things shortly that will frighten them.
Have you come to the God who answers prayer? Then stand up on your feet and let us begin to express our appreciation to that God. Let’s appreciate Him for the privilege of association.

I ask that You will break the grip of every bondage, every iniquity of bondage that is overpowering my life. Father, we apply for Your terrifying acts in righteousness in this nation, regarding the church, this church, my life, my family, the work of my hands. Church Gist. Father, answer us by terrifying things in righteousness. Answer us, answer us, answer us in Jesus Name.
