How many of you know that the King of Glory is in the house?
I remember When I got married, during the reception, I had nothing, so they contributed, they gathered things for me. Church Gist. So, during the reception, he (Bishop Wale Oke) gave us 30 crates of Coke, out of nothing, he still gave. He has laboured and suffered, but the Bible says, this is the word of encouragement for me and some of us, that “If we suffer with Him, we shall reign with Him”. I know that when you get to Heaven, music will change. Thank you Sir. Thank you Ma.
My assignment here is so simple, I understand that about 70 days of fasting, if I’m not mistaken, went into this convention. Church Gist. While he was fasting, he still came for our convention to bless us. He was coming from one meeting to the other, and he traveled from the east to come and be a blessing. Sir, there’s no treasure that we have, that we can give to you that you don’t deserve more, but we want you to know, sir and ma, that we hold you dear to our hearts and we love you, passionately. Church Gist. We love you absolutely. Thank you Sir.
This evening, I don’t know the posture we’re going to to take because we’re here to worship the King of Glory. I’m not teaching on worship, few weeks I did, I mean, serial teaching but we’re not even teaching. Psalm 92:1. It’s a good thing (to give praise to the Lord). Church Gist. Why is it a good thing? It is just a good thing to sing praises. It’s a good thing. How do we sing? Just make sure it’s in line, in sync with the word of God so that it can be acceptable in the sight of God. It’s a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord.
When I remember where he picked me from, from the miry clay, the stone that the builders rejected that has now become the chief cornerstone like Dr. Panam Percy. Church Gist. My father said, “I want him to inherit my profession, don’t send him to school”. What was his profession? Carpentry. I would have been a carpenter, I would have died somewhere because I would have been old but I was smuggled out, not to be pampered, smuggled out to be a houseboy. I did that from 9 years old, I did for years before I was able to go to the secondary school. Church Gist. I followed my sister, I went to 6 primary schools before I finished primary 6. 4 secondary schools before I finished secondary. Why will I not remember the one who lifted my head? The one who changed my story, why will I not remember? I am where I am, I am who I am because of Him, that is the reason why, all the days of my life, till I see him, worship is not an assignment for me. Church Gist. Worship is the reason why I’m living – created for worship. So, we’re going to start tonight and you must be intentional. You will start with your own personal gratitude.
Listen to me before we start, your future is in the womb of gratitude. The future of Holy Ghost convention Proverbs 4:8, because I know it can only get better and it’ll continue to get better but that future begins now. Church Gist. When Baba and Dr John Eckhardt will be ministering at Adamasingba (Stadium) You’ll see wonders, you’ll see miracles, you’ll see signs and wonders. We’re planting the seed now because worship is a seed. Church Gist. Psalm 67. When we praise Him, when we worship Him, the earth must yield an increase.
The first prayer point, you can take any posture you like, you can sit down, you can kneel down, you can stand up but just make sure you’re connected. Church Gist. Please look at your neighbour and see your neighbour as if God is beside you and you’re face to face with Him beholding His glory in worship. We’re going to be worshipping God and the first thing I said in the morning is, “let us thank God that first edition of the Holy Ghost Convention was not the last edition”. But before we do that, what is good in your life that you can trace to Hm? Where did He pick you from? Where did He bring you from? Church Gist. What happened to you? When the people said, “it was over”, God said, “I’ll take your leftover and rebrand you”. You’re not supposed to be where you are, something happened, God met with you. I want you to please come before the Lord, be intentional about it and say, “Father, I would have died several times over but for you. I would have died, my enemies would have buried me several times over, but for you”. Church Gist. Go ahead and worship and exalt His name.
You’re not on oxygen can, you’re not on the wheelchair, go ahead and give Him thanks this evening. If it is singing a song, you can sing a song to Him, come before Him with singing. Come before His presence with thanksgiving. Come into His court with praise.
