Our line of exhortation has been ‘WHY THIS UNENDING CRAVE FOR CHURCH GROWTH?’
We began yesterday by saying, it is God’s end time agenda. Supernatural Church growth, explosive Church growth and expansion is God’s end time agenda. Church Gist. It shall come to pass in the last days and we are quite towards the tail end of the last days. Everything is showing that the end is not that far.
Today, let’s look at another reason why this unending crave for Church Growth. Please let’s recognize it’s not an ambition of the Church, it’s the great Commission that’s finding expression this time across the nations. “He makes all things beautiful in His time.” Church Gist. We are not any smarter than the previous generations, we are just in the time of fulfillment of prophecies with a lot of benefits for anyone who cares to engage.
WHY THIS UNENDING CRAVE FOR CHURCH GROWTH?
1. Supernatural growth is the will of God for the end time Church. Luke 12:32. God will be turning Churches to the Kingdoms of Christ on earth. “Little flocks, no expression, they will soon be out of the place. Very soon we won’t see them again.” Church Gist. They said that to us. “All these are mushroom things, you see them today, you can’t find them tomorrow.”
This is God’s end time agenda to turn every little flock into kingdoms. It is your Father’s good pleasure to turn these little flocks into kingdoms. Our Church Ministry began with 4 people and I used to call it humorously 3 and the half because one wasn’t stable. Church Gist. But see what 4 has turned out to be by the hand of God who said “I will build my Church”, not the expertise of man.
I said yesterday, stars in the Kingdom are not made of strength, skill or capacity. Stars in the Kingdom are made of raw obedience as we saw in Abraham. Raw obedience!
2. Christ wants all men saved and not only that and come to the knowledge of the truth that is domiciled in Church. The Church is the center of spiritual illuminations. Psalm 73:17. It is the center of spiritual understanding. Church Gist. Jeremiah 3:15. So coming to the knowledge of the truth has to do with ingathering of souls into Church where we are fed with knowledge and spiritual understanding that goes ahead to boost our destiny in Christ. Jeremiah 3:15-16. So knowledge and understanding expands our coast.
Acts 20:28. So we are fed with knowledge and spiritual understanding in Church. “And my people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” Church Gist. So getting saved is not enough but bringing them to the center where they can acquire knowledge and spiritual understanding that will set them free. John 8:32. We all know 1 Timothy 2:4. Praise God!
3. God does not want anyone to perish but for all to come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9. He wants all men saved. Church Gist. He doesn’t want anyone to perish and all we are doing is getting to partnership with Him to see His agenda come to pass.
4. Jesus said in that parable “hell is not made for man but for the devil and his angels.” This makes every mortal man a candidate for eternal life. Church Gist. Hell is not made for man but for the devil and his angels. Matthew 25:41…It’s not for us. It’s not for mankind. John 3:16.
Above are the reasons why we must be committed to the rescue of mankind from destruction. We must be committed. John 4:35.
I was having some time on Leadership Concepts and you will hardly find problem bearers emerge as leaders. Only solution bearers emerge as leaders. People who look away from their problems to see the problems of others and commit to solve them. Church Gist. I mean, Joseph had enough challenges to go down depressed. But no! He was busy solving the problem of Potiphar’s house till he became the head of that family as a non member.
He got to the prison, he should be gone (depressed) because he was thrown in there unjustly. But he was solving the problem of the prison until he became the doer of everything that was done in the prison. Church Gist. People who look only at their problems don’t make much progress. It’s time to commit to whatever God says…opens up the way forward.
“You have not chosen me,” He said “but I have chosen you that you should go”… ‘But I have issues.’ I say “go, when you go anything you ask me, I will do it. You go first.” Praise God! John 15:16. You go first.
Okay, what’s the problem with Nehemiah for instance? People are suffering there and you are a captive here. What’s your problem? Okay, what do you have in this World for God’s sake that can solve their problem? Church Gist. He said no! God has it. I will pray. This problem must not continue. He was in problem. He looked away from it. It’s time to come awake! Amen!
There may not be any point in your life where there is nothing you are dealing with – one way or another. But no excuse is tenable for disobedience. Church Gist. Jude 1:22. You can’t be a problem bearer and have compassion on anybody else (you say “I also have more problems than anybody else”) making a difference.
Your life and my life will never make a difference without compassion being expressed to some challenged individuals. Church Gist. Every sinner is grossly challenged and we are God’s rescue agent to bail them out. Jude 1:23.
As we all know, one is not entitled to salaries and allowances where he is not working. I think that’s clear enough. You can’t walk to any office and say “I want to get my salary.” Church Gist. They say “for what?” You say “I just like this office.” No, no! You must be a worker there before you can be entitled to wages. John 4:36.
Doing nothing usually results in frustration. Proverbs 20:4. There is nothing in doing nothing. Church Gist. Nobody goes forward without taking steps. No one ever goes forward sitting down. You go forward taking steps.
We also know that no one can be promoted in any organization where he is not serving. It’s acceptable stewardship that secures one’s promotion in any organization. Church Gist. Luke 19:12-19…from things to cities, supernatural promotion. One pound only – he went, came back, he has made 10 pounds more. Total assets – 11. And he secured promotion from things to cities. “Have thou authority over 10 cities.” He is still doing that now. That’s the way He adds. So when one is adding value to His agenda, He comes in once and again to enlarge his coast.
– This is your year!
1 Corinthians 3:8. When there is no positive change, it could be that one is not doing anything or he is not doing it right. The third man, he has no result and he is not bothered. God does not reward efforts made, he rewards results obtained. We are very used to that here. What He rewarded here was their results not their efforts. Church Gist. The other one made effort, he kept that money against stealing, against anybody stealing. He didn’t mean anything – he suffered losses at the end of it. It’s not about efforts, it’s about results.
– This year will be a most fruitful year for everyone of us!
So it’s time to stop waiting for change of story and start engaging in the harvest field. 1 Corinthians 3:6. You are either in the business of planting or you are in the business of watering. Church Gist. Planting the seed of life, the Word of God through witnessing or watering what is planted through prayers and engagement in ingathering of souls into Church.
If wishes were horses, all the beggars would ride. So we do that through prayers, soul winning, ingathering of souls to Church, helping the challenged among the brethren.
Please note that in the advancement of the Church, lies the advancement of every engaging believer. Hebrews 12:12-13. Church Gist. This is an unusual year for all of us. God wants to decorate you and me supernaturally if we allow Him to.
From the testimony we heard from Calgary in Canada, every revelation is a knock on the door of your heart. Church Gist. “Hey, I have this package for you, are you interested?” “No, carry your thing go.” “Hello, I have this for you. Are you interested?” ‘No, I am not a dummy.’
Until there is a renewal on your inside, there cannot be transformation on your outside. Church Gist. There has to be a repositioning. When God speaks, you reveal your stand so you can make the most of His agenda.
That young man camped with God for 5 days of Shiloh, drank into everything that was said from the first day and realigned and God showed up in a most mysterious way. Destiny opened up.
– He will show up for you! He will show up for me!
So it’s not about hearing the Word, it’s not about writing it down, it’s not about preaching it. It’s about doing it.
– May we all receive grace tonight to refuse to be an onlooker in this great year of opportunity. It’s a great year of opportunity.
I heard the Spirit of God saying over and again “this is ordained our Isaac order of year where what you sow in the land will change your story supernaturally. Church Gist. So sow good seeds and expect great harvest in return as God keeps decorating your life and my life in a way beyond our wildest imagination in the name of Jesus!
