Worship Him this morning. Forget about your troubles and worship Him. Open your mouth and tell Him you love Him. We worship and adore you, we give praise and glory, and we exalt you because you are wonderful. Church Gist. No one can be compared to you. We lift up your name on high we worship you. We give you praise and glory, exalt your name mighty God in Jesus’ most wonderful name.
- Father, let everyone who is sick be healed!
- And every one who is not sick, remain in sound health. Give each one a Word.
Spirit of God encapsulate every Word with power to produce miracles, signs and wonders in the name of Jesus. Church Gist. Even those in the hospitals will be healed. Even those at the point of death will receive life. Give Him a big hand you may be seated.
We are still in the month of ‘THE WONDERS OF HIS WORD’ and today we are looking at, ‘THE WORD AND YOUR HEALTH (PART ONE).’ Church Gist. You can’t have a revelation of God’s word in the area of health and not enjoy sound health.
Jeremiah 8:22. The physician is Jesus Himself. Job 33:21-25. The ransom is Jesus.
- In case you are hearing this message and you’re at the point of death, where sickness has eaten you up like full blown A.I.D.S., as I’m speaking God’s word, your life shall be restored back.
This is because God’s word is medicine to your flesh. Church Gist. Proverbs 4:20-22. So every time God’s word is taken, your flesh comes alive.
- So in the name of Jesus, everyone threatened with any terminal case, as I’m sharing God’s word your health shall be restored!
Isaiah 53:4-5
Verse 4: Borne means to lift away, to carry to a distance. For sure He took that sickness from you and took it to Himself. He bore it Himself.
Now hear this: on the cross of Calvary there’s something He did; there was a divine exchange, He gave you and I health, He took our sickness. Church Gist. We gave Him our sins and we took His righteousness. Everybody talks about sin and righteousness but people don’t talk about health because it’s not preached so much. We all know Jesus took our sins and gave us His righteousness but He also took our sicknesses and gave us His own health. Are you getting what I am saying now because sin was the beginning of sickness. Until sin came, there was no sickness. He couldn’t have taken sin and left sickness. Sickness was a consequence of sin and Jesus came, took sin from you and He did not just take from you, He gave his own righteousness. Church Gist. All you needed to do is accept Jesus Christ as Lord and saviour and then there will be a divine exchange. In same way if you accept healing by faith, there will be divine exchange. Healing is not complex, it’s simple.
I come again, you didn’t do anything to be saved, He did all for you to be saved. So, you don’t have to do special thing to be healed, all you need to do is to believe the Word of God. There does not have to be any ritual, you don’t have to vibrate to be healed. All you do is your heart accepting the truth. Church Gist. When you accepted the truth of salvation you did not vibrate for sin to leave. Sin left, righteousness came. You don’t have to vibrate for healing to come, all you need to do in your heart is to accept it as God has said it. Are you getting what I’m saying now? Then, when you accept it that He took my sickness and gave me health, immediately, no matter the disease it will go.
- As I am speaking right now, whoever believes God’s word, healing will take place in your body!
This is because every sickness was nailed to the cross. You’re not permitted to carry what He has carried. Say with me: From today, whatever disease, sickness, the same way sin was taken from me, disease leaves my body. Church Gist. Jesus has taken it, I can’t have it. He paid the price for my sickness the way He paid the price for my sin. I believe it, I’ve declared it, leave my body in the name of Jesus!
1 Peter 2:24a. Why will you believe the “a” part and not believe the second part? You believe sin, also believe healing. Church Gist. The same one price He paid for sin, is the same price He paid for your health. Don’t take one part of the Gospel and leave the other.
- From today, not one person sick will remain sick!
Say I believe that His righteousness is what I am enjoying. I also believe that His health, I will enjoy it!
Matthew 8:16-17. That was the scripture that brought me out of death. What He took, you can’t have. Say, “took.” From primary school “took” is past tense. Listen carefully; I want to hear God’s word before going to the communion section because every sick will be healed. When was your sin taken? 2000 years plus? Church Gist. Is that true? Then, the day you gave your life was not the day the sins were taken. That was the day you realized and said, oh! What was done 2000 years ago I now accept it in faith. The same way you’re not going to be healed today, you have been healed. The day you accept it in faith, you get it.
The day you accepted Christ was not the day you were forgiven. You all accepted Christ by realizing and getting the truth of God’s word. Church Gist. The day you accepted Christ was not that day you were saved, you were saved 2000 years plus but you accepted Christ by realizing the truth. You’re not going to be healed today; you have been healed – past tense. All you need do is to accept by faith.
- Now, everyone who accepts it, be healed in the name of Jesus!
Say, ‘By His stripes, I am healed. If he took my infirmities, I can’t have them.’
1 Corinthians 6:20
You don’t pay for a good twice. He bought you completely. Church Gist. Is sickness glorifying? So anything afflicting your body is illegal.
We bought a property in a part of Port Harcourt, and some people refused to leave. They made trouble, they took us to court. Church Gist. We went to court and the court gave injunction and went there and threw away their things, threw away everything they had and gave us back the property. Now why? We went to legal court and said, ‘listen we have paid for this property. You’re occupying this place illegally.’
Your body has been bought with a price so sickness is illegal. Go to the courtroom of God and say, ‘satan, hear this: I’ve been bought with a price therefore, get out now!’ And as you say so, the power of God’s word will go through your body and chase away that sickness. Church Gist. Are you getting what I’m talking about? Say, satan, you’re illegal in my body. I’ve been bought with a price.
You say, but I’ve been praying, nothing is happening. You know what? Hebrews 4:2. If the preaching now is not benefitting you watch your faith level. Habakkuk 2:4, Galatians 3:11, Hebrews 10:38, Romans 1:17. Church Gist. If you’re not getting healed then something is wrong. What you are hearing is not being mixed with faith. So, you must have faith in God’s word.
Hear this and hear me well: I want to give you a caution on 3 areas if you want to enjoy sound health:
1) Stop talking sickness and stop imagining sickness: People imagine sickness. Proverbs 23:7. Do you know you can imagine sickness and sickness will come? Job was not afflicted but he was imagining sickness. Church Gist. He was making sacrifice for what has not happened. Some people will stay like this and say, ‘The way my body is doing me I have fever oo.’ They just imagine it. Some of you sit down and imagine nonsense.
2) Stop being sorrowful; be joyful: Proverbs 17:22. Broken spirit breaks the body. Every time you look so sad like sadam, no, it destroys the health. Doctors can’t see in any lab that kind of sickness. Proverbs 18:14. Stop allowing people to tell you sorry; the more sorry they tell you, the more sorrow you experience. Some people even when they are sick they say, ‘so you cannot tell me sorry. So all this sickness I have you cannot tell me sorry.’ Church Gist. That sorry you are looking for has already compounded your sorrows. What do you want, healing or sorry? If you want to pray for them sef, they get angry. They say, ‘why are you praying for me, can’t you tell me sorry?’ Philippians 4:4; 1 Thessalonians 5:16. Please allow joy to flow. Isaiah 12:3. You know why many people are going through sickness? Depression! Satan can’t oppress you until you are depressed.
3) Stop talking sickness: Proverbs 18:21. Stop talking ‘I have malaria, I have this,’ which market did you buy it? You say what will I talk naa? There’s a better way to talk. ‘I believe God for the healing of the malaria’ ‘I know I will be healed of this malaria.’ Don’t say ‘I have.’ Learn to talk well. Psalm 34:12-13. Church Gist. Some you think it’s njakiri (in African colloquial they call it njakiri) – ‘be like say the temperature the way e dey go guy you go die quick oo’ (the way the temperature is rising it’s like you will die quickly). How can you talk like that?
Finally, demonstrate it with your actions. 1 Samuel 2:3. On Thursday I said, don’t look like the elder brother of fever and expect to enjoy sound health.
COMMUNION TABLES
John 6:48
Say I am taking the life of Jesus. The Communion is the flesh and blood of Jesus, so you know the components. You know, if you buy any drug, you see at the back of the pack they put the components. Church Gist. They say chemical composition of this drug. The composition of the communion is the flesh and blood of Jesus. Don’t just say, what am I taking?
And please in case you came from a religious background where you say, you know I need to be confirmed. If you see confirmation in this Bible, I will not preach from tomorrow. Confirmation was introduced by Catechist. Church Gist. There was no where Jesus said, thou shalt be confirmed. Not one portion! He gave it to His disciples and who is the disciple? Somebody who has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour. Leave religion, read Bible for yourself. Your Catechist is the one who introduced confirmation. It is human doctrine, it’s not in the Bible. Please in case you came from that kind of background, we are talking about health but some people are very funny.
When they want to take Communion now, if you go away, you’re a witch. Any time you see somebody running away, the person’s hands is not clean. Witches don’t take Communion; when we want to take communion they go to toilet. Church Gist. This blood will destroy their own blood. Some people don’t take Communion because if they take communion, the whole witchcraft power it will render them useless. If you have house girl, Communion time tell her to sit down here.
John 6:49: Look, if you read the secret of the Manna, I took time to read and study the Manna. For 40 years their legs were not swollen. Church Gist. Deuteronomy 8:4. If 40 years Manna, and it says this one is superior to Manna, the next days of your life you will not have any reason to break down!
John 6:50: This was the scripture that God gave to me that brought Pastor out of death with a heart problem.
- Now, everyone who is threatened with death, at the instance of this flesh, death will give way in the name of Jesus
- Nothing can kill me. Every disease threatening my life, as I partake of the flesh of Jesus, I command it destroyed.
John 6:53-54: We partake of His Divine nature through the mystery of the communion. Church Gist. Can disease stay in His nature? Can cancer survive in His nature? Can H.I.V. stay in the body of Jesus?
- Say with me, as I partake of the flesh of Jesus, whatever is not in Him can’t be in me. I curse that disease!
Exodus 7:10-12: Jesus said, ‘I am the rod.’ As this one flesh enters you, every rod of the magician eating your body is swallowed up in the name of Jesus.
2 Kings 4:38-41: Everything dangerous that you have taken that has caused poison in you, as this meal of His flesh enters you, that poison shall be neutralized.
In my study I discovered that in 1 Kings 19:6-8, you will agree with me that some people are not sick but they are so weak. You wonder, they’re 30 but they look like 90. Elijah went in the strength of the meal. Church Gist. They sleep for 8 hours. A young man called me and we were laughing. He said Sir you said you sleep 5 to 10, he was going through the internet and they said it’s better to sleep between 11 and 3. So, I laughed and said, ‘My son, even the doctors who advise you don’t sleep like that if not they won’t be doctors. No doctor who does not read can be a doctor. Every great man reads at midnight. It’s midnight they work. If you sleep like that you will never be successful’. No first class student sleeps midnight. Church Gist. Doctor who advised you, ask him when he was reading medicine whether he was sleeping. If you sleep like that you will never succeed except it’s in Nigeria where you eat money without working.
I don’t mean you should not rest oo please don’t misquote me. I rest oo if I finish this I will rest. I couldn’t sleep up to 2 hours, I don’t know what happened but sleep refused to come. So what I did I was just reading Bible.
- All those weakness today must die in you.
- No more weakness. As I take of His flesh and blood, strength, vitality, health shall be restored
Luke 24:30-31: it talks about mental soundness, sound mind. Some people are so dull that you tell them something, they forget. I have a young man, he forgets. Some people cannot remember what they told them 2 weeks ago. Church Gist. If you cannot remember 2 weeks ago what will you remember 6 years ago? Some people when you talk with them, they can’t comprehend your level of understanding.
- Today, every form of mental retardation, shall come to an end in the name of Jesus
- Your intellectualism, understanding will be so high that from today, you will understand at a frequency you were never there before.
Finally it said, Leviticus 17:11. And the blood of Jesus, in it there cannot be any disease. True? It’s immune to sickness. Church Gist. You know when somebody is sick they say they are going to do blood transfusion. So the blood is supernatural blood transfusion of Jesus’ blood to our blood. Can Jesus’ blood H. I. V. stay inside? Can sickle cell stay in His blood?
- Every blood disease will be terminated at the instance of the blood.
PRAYERS:
- Pray vehemently to take authority over that health challenge as you partake of the flesh and blood
