In this scripture we see the Levites( singers) all arrayed in fine linen.
We also see that it was the duty of the trumpeters and singers to make themselves heard in unison. Thirdly we see that their singing provoked the glory of God which filled the house. One of the Choir’s musical goals is to sing with one voice. ChurchGist. Like choir conductors often say, people also “listen with their eyes,” so the visual unity of the team is very important as long as we are on earth. Many people may not be aware of all of the work and effort that goes into clothing the Choir members for their performances.
This effort is important as it brings a solemnity in the choir which is peculiar with this ministry. Also this uniformity makes choirs resemble the angels in their orderly manner and gives a picture of heaven on earth.
The end result of this ongoing task of managing the choir’s wardrobe is a pleasing and unified appearance to match the unity of the Choir’s music.
Uniformity brings with it the message of a people who know their job in every single field of life. ChurchGist.And in dressing up, our hope remains that the voices of our choirs match up their uniformity and indeed portray the professionalism that follows dressing uniformly.
The choice of choir robe style and colour should be up to the choir management as they are in charge of marketing the choir and need to ensure a professional appearance. ChurchGist.The cost of the choir robes should be left to the singers themselves as this will ensure they have a respect for the garment and that they can purchase within their financial ability.
In a place of worship, you can expect the sense of solemnity and to maintain that, garments like robes are a good option; to keep things as modest as possible.

The music crescendos, the sopranos do their bit, the altos, the tenors, the basses, all God’s children do their part.
Also very important is to note and ensure the aspect of decency. As 2 Timothy 2:9 states, modesty and decency must accompany our adorning. If these are not put in place the choirs dressing becomes a distraction and a reason for the stumbling of the saints.
