“When I entered into the sanctuary of the Lord, then understood I”. Church Gist. Lord, I pray that the eyes of understanding of every one of us be opened today to see with all clarity, what you are passing to us.
– May the mark of exemption remain established upon each one’s life, upon your household and upon all that pertains to you.
– You shall not see evils anymore.
– The evils of the day will not be able to access your life.
– It will be clear that you bear the mark of Jesus on your body.
– There shall be no gathering for mourning in your family.
– It shall be to you and your household, a year of joy and rejoicing. Church Gist.
– The plague of sudden death is over in the precious name of Jesus.
This new week is the take-off of the general elections week. In the name of Jesus, it shall be peaceful. It shall be bloodless. Anyone that wants somebody else dead for him to have his ambition will pay for it with his life. Church Gist. The Lord spoke to me after the 3 days of prayer and fasting. Nahum 1:9. Affliction shall not rise a second time.
– Every imagination to perpetuate the affliction is cursed today.
Every sane Nigerian, every Nigerian that has any brain remaining knows that this nation has been under affliction for the past 8 years. The worst in the history of a nation. Every agenda to perpetuate that comes under a curse today. You go to farm in your own ancestral land and you are not sure of returning. You go to work and you are not sure of getting back home. All kinds of evil, human life has no meaning. I saw a nation under distress, I saw only God as the one who can give it back life. Let’s stop pretending, there are many Christians who are just blinder than blindness. Church Gist. Let’s stop pretending. Anyone eating from this thing to the detriment of the nation will share the consequences with the evil.
– Your family, your children, all that live under your roof are declared safe.
– Anyone that aims at hitting you will pay for it and will not succeed.
We have 10 weeks more, now listen to me. God is the King of all the earth. Coro was raging when He planted 10,000 churches. Is there any human or satanic agenda that can stop God from having His way? I have reached one quarter of my target in two weeks. You can’t stop God from having His way. The economy can’t stop your business from enjoying breakthroughs. Church Gist. Just stand right with God. The ten weeks remaining, may no one here be an onlooker. You don’t beg to be honoured in the kingdom, you serve to be honoured. You don’t cry to be promoted, you display faithfulness to be promoted. “Well-done Good and faithful servant, have authority over ten cities”. Once you are faithful, you move forward. May the next 10 weeks speak loudest in your own life.
UNVEILING THE WONDERS OF GENUINE LOVE FOR GOD.
What do we mean by genuine? He said, “this do to prove the sincerity of your love”. Not every one that says they love Him really loves Him. 2 Corinthians 8:8. So there is what to do to prove the genuineness of one’s love. It is not a singing love, it is not a dancing love, there are biblical proofs to authenticate our claim of love for God. One vital proof is delightsome obedience. John 14:21. Psalm 112:1-3. Church Gist. Delightsome obedience is a vital proof of our love for God. Why call me Lord! Lord! Without doing what I tell you to do. It doesn’t fly. You are just wasting your time. Theoretical love doesn’t fly with God. Luke 6:46. It is doing what He says that validates our love for Him and it is not what He says in the sky. What He says in His word. It is not something you are looking for in the cloud, it is in His word. The book is in your hand. It is in my hand. Aligning with the dictates of scripture is a validation of our love for God.
We also understand that everything that works in the kingdom works by love. We have done that over and again in 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. Everything that works by faith requires love to deliver. Life in the kingdom operated absolutely by faith. Faith delivers by love. Church Gist. Faith will not deliver beyond the level of our love for God. God will not back up someone who will serve the devil after backing him up. So he checks our love level to determine the level of command of faith we can operate in. Galatians 5:6. Faith works to the level of our love for God. Love is a choice, it is not a gift. 1 Chronicles 29:3. Love is a choice that people make.
Now let’s check five wonders embedded in our love for God.
1. Genuine love for God enhances steadfastness in stewardship.
We need steadfastness because all of heaven’s agendas deliver loudest at the end. Habakkuk 2:1-3. When you are in love, steadfastness becomes a natural experience. Love is as strong as death. Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the sea drown it. So circumstances can’t disconnect you when you are genuinely in love. Songs of Solomon 8:6-7. When you are in love, circumstances don’t disconnect you from God. Church Gist. The love of God keeps you solid and going. Someone once asked me Brother David, do you ever have any problems? I say maybe it came and I didn’t know. You will enjoy reading that section of my autobiography that is coming soon ‘My Share of Challenges’. Challenges that will make somebody else complain and cry, you just smile over it. Why? You are in love. Paul said for me to live is Christ, to die is gain.
I love this nation with passion. All my enemies know. I love this nation with passion. I called the first three days of prayer and fasting for our nation in 1979. Three days dry fast. Jesus have mercy on this nation. I saw a bonfire, we stood in the gap. Somebody is going to break forth this time. When you are in love you enjoy steadfastness in stewardship. Church Gist. Paul said who can separate me from the love of God, in all things we are more than conquerors. Romans 8:35. When I speak on the nation, I speak and go home to rest. I have spoken the mind of God. Steadfastness! All these off and on is a proof of the level of love one has for God.
My wife could not tell what the size of the church was in those days because she was back in Ilorin, I was moving between Kaduna and Ilorin. I will come beaming with smiles. Genuine smiles not fabricated or mechanical smiles. The first time she came we were 21, she couldn’t marry that with my excitement. Church Gist. It is not about numbers, it is about doing the will of God. She must have thought we were doing Sunday School when we were doing main service. I have been smiling like this for years.
Today makes it 54 years that I gave my life to Christ. I have not had the first rethink of what I am doing. February 19 1969, I surrendered my life to Jesus. This is February 19 2023 I am still jumping. I have never added one thing to Jesus. No professional prophet has pointed a dirty road in my direction. No native doctor has seen me once. To do what? He is enough for me. He is enough for me. Church Gist. The man of Galilee is enough for me. Jesus is enough for me. You hardly can find one man who is not standing strong for Christ at my little level who is not running here and there for cover. 🎶I sitting right under the blood. I am sitting under the blood where the devil can do me no harm. No harm!🎶. May the grace for consistency which has its root in one’s genuine love for God come alive in every one of us today.
54 years of grace. 54 years of divine covering. 54 years of going from strength to strength. Yours will be stronger.
1 Corinthians 15:58.
2. Genuine love for God enhances divine strength that empowers for exploits.
Proverbs 24:5. The Almighty fainteth not. When you are in love and you are growing in love, you get to a point where you are filled with all the fullness of God. The strength of God begins to manifest in your life naturally. Daniel 11:32. You watch the kind of strength and agility manifested in the life of Paul the Apostle. It is strange. That dimension of divine strength is an outcome of his genuine love for God. Church Gist. If you read the things he went through in 2 Corinthians 6 and 11, amazing pressure on his physical body without any feeling. The Bible says that those 3 Hebrew boys yielded their bodies. Their bodies were yielded, transfigured. How? You dwell in love, you dwell in God and God in you. So the strength of God is made manifest in your life naturally. You are not struggling with it.
I was about going to the restroom in Raji Oba one time. We had a conference, it was a Leaders’ Meeting. I asked if there was any restroom around there, they said it was upstairs. I said when I finished. Naturally, you are in command of this body. All these “it is paining me” “it is aching me” every morning and night are not part of it. Every exploit demands strength. Exploits are about extraordinary accomplishments. Church Gist. It makes extraordinary demands on your mind, on your soul, on your spirit and on your body. Every part of you. Therefore I decree an infusion of divine strength into everyone’s life as you keep growing in your love for God. There are things that money cannot buy but they are offered for free. Money cannot buy them, they are offered to us for free by simply embracing the love of God as a lifestyle in growing dimensions. Receive that grace this morning in the name of Jesus Christ. You find Jesus at no time tired. They said somebody brought you some food, he said I have some food to eat that you don’t know anything about. Unusual strength. Church Gist. John 4:32-34. Mark 3:20-21. He had no room to eat yet strength was booming. That is the love of God personified. When you are in love, you are in strength. When you are in strength, you are on your way to exploits. No more breakdowns in your life anymore. That is being strengthened with might by His Spirit in your inner man. The Spirit of love is what strengthens a man in his inner man. He keeps going no matter the issues.
3. It keeps great things happening on their own accord.
Great things just fall into place of their own accord. Romans 8:28. We are not guessing, we are not assuming. We know all things work together for good. Genuine love for God causes great things to keep happening on their own accord. Matthew 6:31-33. You won’t be struggling, panting and palpitating. Like you find it been added to your church on their own accord. Nobody will tell you till Jesus comes that he left this church because they were taking offerings. Church Gist. Nobody has ever asked you “did you give an offering?”. Has anybody ever asked you in your life if you paid tithe? Anyone who asks you is on his own. The Church never sent him. They are happening on their own accord.
They were going to worship Paul and Barnabas, the gods have come down to us in the likeness of men. On their own accord. They stoned them and dragged them outside town for dead. He got up and went about his next assignment. Great things happening on their own accord. Jesus we know, Paul we know but who are you? On their own accord. We never prayed this Tabernacle into being. It came on its own accord. I am not sure you have uttered one prayer on the Ark in this Church. It is growing on its own accord. I can’t remember a Sunday or Wednesday where we stood and I said “oh God open the doors to the nations”. It happened on its own accord. 83 nations in one year, on its own accord. When you are in love, great things keep happening in your life on their own accord. Church Gist. That is the realm you are entering into now. The days of struggles are over in your life. You are entering that realm where things start happening on their own accord. You plant 10,000 churches in one year on His own accord. It can’t enter our budget forever. It is out of order. It is off projections. It is unscientific. On His own accord. You say how do you get pastors? On His own accord. How do you get locations? On their own accord. Where will you get them? On His own accord. You know all the ministers in our new nations, none is from Nigeria. They were all enlisted there. We even gathered to train people and the Lord said No! Let them go back. They had arrived there. We won’t go, we won’t do anything. Don’t do anything. Church Gist. Great things won’t stop happening on their own accord for every true lover. If you don’t have anybody that hates you, you are not alive. Some are having headaches and migraines because of this Church. Headache, migraine, heart collapse, kidney challenge because of this Church. It is normal. This Church grows fatter under attack. So we need more attacks. Why? It can never overcome you. Love makes more than a conqueror. You are not struggling to conquer. You are more than a conqueror. They see you coming to the ring, they disappear. They run away for their lives. I am saying your days of struggles are finally over. Stay in love, keep growing in love, great things won’t stop happening on their own accord.
4. Being in love with God can turn any child of God into a living wonder.
People wonder at you. Is this a human being or an angel? You are off this planet in terms of happenings in your life. The things around your life don’t seem to line up with what the natural environment dictates. You are off it. 1 Corinthians 2:9. Living wonders. You know why those young men went to the fiery furnace? Their love for God is beyond what fire can threaten. They went in there and what eyes have not seen, they saw and the king started swearing “anybody who says anything against the God of Shedrack, Meshach and Abednego will be burnt to ashes. Ah! There is no God like this oh. The same enemy, on the spot they changed their mind. There are living wonders. You know your Church is a wonder. You think it is a ministry? It is a mystery. This church is a mystery. He goes outside us to do what He wants to do. Within five weeks, we finished all that we had in our reserve account in building this tabernacle. So who did the remaining 50 weeks? Which savings, which account do you have? When God wants to do something He goes ahead. Yet we didn’t beg, we didn’t borrow, we didn’t owe a man. Living Wonders. There was not one service devoted to “let us raise money”. Praise the Lord. You know I am a prophet of prosperity, today I want to tell you something. This Tabernacle, if you don’t put money there I am sorry for your life. On their own accord. Living wonders. Your wife is dying and you are running around the nation. What kind of human being is that? Church Gist. This man is wicked. I was in 27 nations. It was my longest range of travel. While she was dying. No single grandchild then but now miracles upon miracles. Living wonders. I pray that you will plug into that. A genuine love for God. People crave after things so much. A genuine love for God, that somebody will walk into their zone and say “how many buses do we use every week? How many of the new converts do we have coming in? Okay I will give two buses”. Somebody else says “How many zones are in our district?” you are excited. You are not being coerced, you are just enjoying God and advancing His kingdom with utmost delight. Then He turns you into a living wonder. They are looking for you everywhere. Nobody knew you, you didn’t apply to anybody but they say you are the one they are looking for. How? They will look for you. Many of us will find ourselves in places where we least imagined. By our demonstrable love for God, He will turn you into a living wonder. Isaiah 8:18.
5. Genuine love for God guarantees triumph always in spite of all negative prevailing circumstances.
2 Corinthians 2:14. Triumph always. Prevailing circumstances notwithstanding. Can I tell you why? Love never fails, Situations and circumstances notwithstanding. Love never faileth. 1 Corinthians 13:8. It guarantees triumph always under all circumstances. If all the churches we had were 5,000 thereabout before and we are going to plant 5000 churches in one year. Triumph always. When it is in love, it is not in competition, it is not in letting them know my name, let’s know our Church. No! Okay, we are not doing anything this year. Thank you Jesus you have done too much. You are planting 10,000 churches this year. Church Gist. The last failure you suffered is the last you will ever know. Keep your love for God intact and keep it growing, it guarantees triumph always, prevailing circumstances notwithstanding. Number of enemies notwithstanding. He prepared a table before me in the presence of my enemies and my cup runneth over and they were helpless. Psalm 23:4-6. Triumph always. Who is speaking? A man with a heart for God, David is his name. 1 Samuel 13:14. Triumph always. Guess what? Beginning from this era, as you make yourself available to be rooted and grounded in the love of God, things will be happening to you on their own accord.
In conclusion, serving God acceptably is the covenant platform for unending flow of blessings. Exodus 23:25-26. Job 36:11. Psalm 35:27. Everything called blessing is tied to stewardship. Acceptable stewardship. Hebrews 12:28. Serving God acceptably brings you into the realm of ever-flowing blessings. It keeps going and adding to it, it keeps multiplying. That is God’s agenda for His children and that includes you and me. Church Gist. Love motivated stewardship is key to consistency and continuity in stewardship. It is vital to maximizing the blessedness of stewardship. What drives you is not what comes out of it but your heart for God driving you and keeps adding the things that are in it on their own accord to your life. The enemy has lost the battle over your life. It is your turn for a change of story.
Lift your right hand and give God thanks if anything got through to you. Lord help me to be rooted and grounded in your love. Love help me to be able to comprehend the length, the height, the breadth of your love, so I can also be filled with your fullness in my life.
Today is our second part of Covenant Day of Exemption. I like you to listen to these scriptural lines of thought.
We are redeemed as a peculiar people, we are not supposed to suffer what the world around us suffers. 1 Peter 2:9. You are a different species of beings, you belong to royalty. By redemption, we are a peculiar people whose life should be a marvel to those around us. A life that is clearly off the region of the torment and cruelty of darkness. Because redemption is about being translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. Colossians 1:13. As redeemed a peculiar people we must not be a partaker of the woes that happen around the world today. The presence of God with us in redemption is what makes us peculiar. Matthew 1:23. Jesus came and His name shall be called ‘Emmanuel’ which being interpreted means ‘God with us’. God discarded us in the garden of Eden and God came back to us through Jesus Christ. God with us. Church Gist. If God be for us who can be against us? So redemption has your exemption as part of the package. To secure His presence requires our love for Him. He that dwells in love, dwells in God and God in Him. 1 John 4:16-18. When our love grows to the realm of no fear, then we begin to enjoy His ever abiding presence. His presence is a seal of our exemption. When we get to the realm of the length, breadth and the height of the love of God we are filled with all His fullness. Whatever can’t buffet Him can’t buffet us. Ephesians 3:18. In the name of our Lord Jesus, no one in your household will suffer the plagues of the evils of the day.
We have the example of David, the whole Army of Israel could not catch up with Him. He was full of love. Paul the Apostle, the sea could not drown him. Full of love. It is one thing to make a choice to love God, it is another thing for our love to be empowered to stand the test of time. Peter said if everybody forsakes you, I will never forsake you. Matthew 26:33-35. The choice was not solid. Church Gist. That choice could not stand the test of time. You saw how that young lady began to confront him and he denied and swore that He never knew Him. When the same Peter was empowered by the Holy Ghost, nothing could stop him. The lion in him came alive. So expect that by the anointing today, your love for God will access next levels. Nothing in this world will be able to stop you from following after Jesus. Expect to be endued with the Spirit of love today. 2 Timothy 1:7. The Spirit of love is a gift from heaven. Romans 5:5. He fires the love of God into our hearts.
We should therefore expect to be exempted through the mystery of the anointing oil as it comes upon our forehead today. Psalm 105:17. As that oil comes on your forehead, evil will not touch you again. All through this election period and beyond, evil will not strike at any member of your household. Every form of attack being launched against any one of us from the spiritual realm shall be crushed as if they never existed. Church Gist. So expect to be endued with the Spirit of love that will secure for you and I God’s ever abiding presence that keeps a man solid on ground at all times. Nothing is a threat to the individual. God takes over. That will be your experience.
Ezekiel 9:6. Come not near any one upon whom is the mark. You are the one God is talking about. Evil will not come near you forever in the name of Jesus.
– No reports of accidents in your family this year.
– No one suffers the assault of kidnap anymore.
– No one suffers the assault of the wicked in any form.
– Robbers won’t be able to penetrate your territory.
– It shall be a smooth sail year for you and your household.
In addition, expect encounters with the healing, breakthrough and yoke breaking power of the anointing today. If you came with any sickness in your body today, it shall be destroyed. Church Gist. James 5:14-15. Every attack of sickness on your life, terminal, temporal, whatever they call it shall come to an end today.
– Every siege of nightmares shall come to an end today.
– Every mark of the wicked that is pursuing here and there is totally erased.
– The barriers on your path of breakthrough shall clear off.
Isaiah 45:1-3.
Every barrier on your path of breakthrough, by this anointing today, they shall clear off.
Isaiah 10:27. That is your new position. You are leaving this service a totally liberated man, a totally liberated woman.
– Your Destiny opens up today.
This is not a ritual, it is a mystery of the kingdom ordained for the liberation of mankind. It is not a new testament affair, neither is it an old testament affair. It is not old fashioned. God said this shall be a holy anointing oil to me all through your generations. Church Gist. So it is a transgenerational mystery. It is ordained for every generation of believers. As you partake of this kingdom mystery you secure your exemption right in Christ. This came to be in Exodus 25 and it went on and on all through the Old Testament. We saw how Saul was anointed. You can’t reign as a king until you are anointed. We saw how God anointed Jehu. Unction! Mark 6:12-13. We saw Jesus gave his disciples the oil. We saw the Apostles carry on with the oil. It is a transgenerational mystery. What is in it? Empowerment. The word ‘anointing’ means empowerment. By this anointing, every one of us is empowered for exemption all through our lives. Particularly in these days of gross uncertainties in our country. In the precious name of Jesus, by this anointing, no evil arrow will hit you. The wickedness of the wicked shall not prevail in your life. By this anointing you are declared exempted.
We have had testimonies of fire outbreaks in this place where the fire will come to the building of a Winner and jump over it without touching that facility. Therefore from today, the destroyer will have no access to your territory. One of us here did business with some folks and they wanted to kill him. So they asked him to come to a place and he was face to face with killers. They shot him at close range, but he didn’t answer. Church Gist. They used a cutlass to cut him it didn’t cut. Ah, Winners? They are not human beings. By this anointing, God will exempt you from all evil. That is a physical assault not that somebody is making incantations. This is an AK47 shooting at you. It didn’t answer.
God told me “my son follow me as I make a new generation of saints by your hand”. I release you today as one of those new generations of saints. Indestructible, unassaultable. Unmolestable.
You heard my statement all over the news, media and everywhere. Vote wisely, vote your conscience. Vote for the future of your children. Some fellows claim to be believers but they are just lost. We are not talking about parties here. There is no party that is not in this church. There are founders of parties in this church. I will never be partisan in my life. Never! That I attended a party meeting? To do what? Never!. There will be peace and stability in Nigeria. Nigeria is not for sale. Church Gist. We are not an entity, we are a people. You don’t have to be a billionaire to be a president. You need capacity, you need character and we have them in every part of the country. Why do you go with your second eleven when you have the first eleven in place. You have lost the match.
I have my sons who are founders of parties. Who founded parties. We are not talking about parties. Everyone is free to join any party but if you don’t join the well being of Nigeria, you are a problem. Let’s look out for the well being of this nation. Let’s stop hovering around the same nonsense all the time. May we never see the affliction we have seen the last eight years again. Otherwise, there may not be a country again. Can this suffering continue like this? Till the last minute. To get cash to support some things this morning, my accountant couldn’t get it. In Nigeria? In your country? It is over. We posted the declarations to be made on the website. Church Gist. Go there and make those declarations every morning all through the period of this election. This week is a decisive week. It will determine what happens in the remaining weeks.
Can I tell you something? Nobody has ever put words in my mouth till date in my walk with God. I don’t have media aides. My media is come to church, you will hear what the Holy Ghost is saying for the hour. So over to you. The week has started again. No careless movement this week. Receive direction from the Lord before you take off. Church Gist. Ask for His covering before you take off. Anoint yourself and your children every day all through this election period.
In case you never read it, I said don’t try to convince us of what you will do. We can only be convinced by what you have done through your service records. The people there made balloon promises, not one came to see the light of day. We are indebted to the throat as a nation. Naira will come down. Naira didn’t come down, it started flying and then you still want to wait on balloon promises. That will be foolish. Church Gist. We are praying for God to send us deliverers at all levels. Every gang up of hell to bring Nigeria back to the place of affliction shall fall on their head. Over to you.
