4th July, 2014:    Christ Apostolic Church Satellite Television starts broadcasting.

4th July, 1982: The groundbreaking ceremony to initiate the construction of a new headquarters Church in SouthEast Portland for the Apostolic Faith Mission. The site for the new building was a four-acre piece of ground.

4th July, 1844: Dan Beach Bradley establishes the first newspaper in Siam—the Bangkok Reporter. Dan Beach Bradly was an American Protestant Missionary to Siam, Thailand from 1835 until his passing.

4th July, 1832: The National hymn “America” is first sung in public at a children’s celebration of Independence Day, at the Park St. Church, Boston. The words had been written that February by the Rev. Samuel F. Smith and are sung to the tune of “God Save the King”.
