24th July 1959: Joseph Ayo Babalola arrives in Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) Olugbode Ibadan for a General Council Meeting. This was the last attended by him until his transition on 26th July 1959.

24th July 1991: The Praying Hands Statue is relocated to the entrance of Oral Roberts University (ORU) main campus, Tulsa, Oklahoma, U.S.A. The bronze sculpture was created by Leonard McMurry and cast in Mexico in 1980. It was then sent to Tulsa, Oklahoma, in 450 pieces. The sculpture is 60 feet tall and weighs 30 tons. It is the largest praying hands statue in the World.

24th July 2014: Landmark University holds its first convocation ceremony. Landmark University is a Christian Private University founded by Living Faith Church Worldwide and located in Omu Aran, Kwara State, Nigeria. The First ‘Release of Pathfinders’ was held just after three years of the University’s operation.

24th July 1725: John Newton is born in London. He was an Anglican Minister and the Author of the popular hymn “Amazing Grace”. He was called to glory in 1807.

24th July 1874: Oswald Chambers is born in Aberdeen, Scotland. He was a Baptist Evangelist and the Author of the daily devotional “My Utmost for His Highest” (which was published posthumously in 1927).

24th July 1921: Cyrus Ingerson Scofield goes to be with the Lord. He was an American Theologian, Minister and the Author of the Scofield Reference Bible.
