1st February 2020: Living Faith Church Worldwide aka Winners Chapel International commence Church planting of 10,000 Churches in one year. By November 8th 2020, 10,200 Churches had been planted in Nigeria apart from about 1,400 outside Nigeria amidst Corona Virus Lockdown, ENDSARS protests and curfews.
1st February 2006: Redeemer’s University holds her maiden matriculation ceremony with 473 students matriculating into the Colleges of Humanities, Management Sciences and Natural Sciences. Redeemer’s University was founded by the Redeemed Christian Church of God.
1st February 1986: Pastor Olubi Johnson weds Sarah Olubi-Johnson (Nee Sansi). They are Founders of Scripture Pasture Christian Centre (SPCC) headquartered in Ibadan, Oyo State.
1st February 2016: Kings University, Ode Omu, Osun state commences academic activities. Kings University was founded by Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo’s Kingsway International Christian Centre.
1st February 1763: Thomas Campbell is born in County Down, Ireland (now Northern Ireland). He was a Presbyterian minister who became prominent during the Second Great Awakening of the United States. He sought to unite Christians under a common simple confession of Christ as Lord and immersion baptism.
