30th March 2025: Pastor E.A. Adeboye announces that all the debt owed for the construction of the Trinity Towers have been fully paid and the whole building now belongs to RCCG. This was during the second visit of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to the Trinity Towers, the home of RCCG City of David parish which serves as the headquarters of the Apapa Family (renamed as The Favoured Family during the visit).

30th March 1972: Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu popularly known as Sinach is born. She is a globally renowned award-winning singer, songwriter and worship leader.

30th March 2020: New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declarations (NSPPD) by Pastor Jerry Eze begins. It is a large online prayer meeting with great impact across the globe making Pastor Jerry Eze’s YouTube channel the third most watched channel in the world for 2025.

30th March 1994: The Covenant Nation is founded by Pastor Poju Oyemade. The Covenant Nation was formerly known as Covenant Christian Centre and was commisioned by Bishop David Oyedepo. It has its headquarters in Yaba, Lagos State of Nigeria.

30 March 1912: Timothy Gbadebo Oshokoya is born in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria. He was the Founder of the Apostolic Faith Church in Nigeria and the first African Overseer of the Apostolic Faith Mission. He passed on to glory aged 71.

30th March 1990: Reverend Samuel Chukwuemeka Kanu Uche moves to Kano to manage a Church made up of various ethnic groups when they needed an Igbo-speaking Priest. He spent 9 years in Kano. He was the immediate past Prelate of the Methodist Church Nigeria.

30th March 2020: The lockdown in Lagos, Abuja and Ogun kicks in at 11pm local time (22:00 GMT) on Monday and will stay in place for at least two weeks, President Muhammadu Buhari announced on Sunday, a little over a month after Nigeria confirmed its first case of Cōvîd-19. Churches were not exempted.

30th March 2020: Pastor E.A. Adeboye donates 8,000 hand sanitizers, 8,000 surgical face masks and 200,000 hand gloves to support the efforts of the Lagos State Government in equipping the medical staff with the necessary protective gear needed to curtail the spread of the Cōvîd-19 pandemic.

30th March 1961: Pastor Elijah Abina weds Felicia Olufemi Akinremi. Pastor Elijah Abina is the General Overseer of The Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT). Their union was blessed with six children. Mrs Felicia Olufemi Abina went to be with the Lord in June 2014.
