You are in good hands with Jesus. No one can manage your life and my life any better. If you make Jesus your final bus stop, He will turn you to a wonder. Church Gist. That my son was given 7 days to live, it is now seven days after. Just by being sensitive with the Holy Spirit and doing what the Holy Spirit said to do, Jesus gave him a brand new liver.
- In the precious name of Jesus, whatever is out to terminate your life shall be terminated today.
Jesus did it, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. He will do it in your life. His blessings terminate sorrows. Church Gist. For His blessings make rich and add no sorrow to it.

Understanding The Ministry Of The Holy Spirit Part 3
The Holy Spirit is a personality and He is our ordained permanent resident helper and He shall be with you forever. John 14:16. He is our permanent resident helper. John 14:17. He dwells in us, wherever we find ourselves, He is there. Church Gist. He is our permanent resident helper. The psalmist calls Him present help in times of need. Always there, just a call away. Holy Spirit, show yourself and He shows up.
- You will never be helpless anymore in your life.
The Holy Spirit is the access to all of our inheritance in the Kingdom. Because all of our inheritance is accessible and deliverable through knowledge and when He is come, He will teach us all things. Every believer needs the ministry of the Holy Spirit to fulfill our glorious destiny. He teaches us all things and brings to our remembrance whatsoever we have heard of Him. John 14:26. Church Gist. He is not a spare tire, He is the anchor of every glorious destiny in the Kingdom. Acts 20:32. It is through the Word we access our inheritance and the Holy Ghost is the one that opens the Word up to us. He searches all things, Ye! The deep things of God to put us on top of situations and circumstances. So we need Him. 2 Peter 1:3. The Holy Spirit is the custodian of spiritual insight. So we need Him.
Also, we recognize that the Holy Spirit is one but with diverse manifestations. Church Gist. We have been doing that since these series began. 1 Corinthians 12:4-7. Every of His diverse operations is for our profiting.
Today, we are looking at one aspect of His ministry, of His diverse manifestations. We recognize from scriptures that there is the spirit of love. It is a dimension of the ministry of the Holy Spirit. The spirit of love empowers the believer to remain in love with God in season and out of season. 2 Timothy 1:6 – 7. So there is the spirit of love. Romans 5:5. Church Gist. We saw the Holy Ghost too made manifest here. There is a spirit of love that empowers us to remain in love with God in season and out of season. Everybody needs the spirit of love to keep growing in our love for God and to remain fervently in love, no matter what goes on around us.
Remember in the last days, iniquity shall abound and the love of many shall wax cold. So we need the fire of the Holy Ghost to sustain the temperature of our love for God which will always make a difference. Church Gist. For we know that all things work together for good to them that love God. We know. So when our love comes under attack, things keep working the other way round. That is why everybody needs a fresh baptism of the spirit of love.
That’s why everybody needs a fresh baptism of the spirit of love that keeps you panting after God in season and out of season. Please note that an ever growing love for God is the mystery behind an ever winning life. Church Gist. As our love grows in length and breadth and width and height, we are filled with all the fullness of God, which is the seal of our dominion because he reigneth forever and ever. So, when we keep growing in love, we keep winning in life without stress. 1 John 4:16. So, anyone fighting you is fighting against God and God will never return defeated in a battle. Church Gist. So, when you’re in love with God, you’re merely fronting for God in battle, He’s the one fighting the fight. That’s what makes you an ever winning fighter. You’re not doing the fighting, you dwell in God, God is doing the fighting and they think you’re the one doing the fighting and you keep winning.
- May this service today mark the end of your struggle for survival.
People are in need today because they don’t know what they need. A heart for God will put you on top of all situations and circumstances. Church Gist. Love is the most valuable of all spiritual virtues in the Kingdom because everything that works works by love. 1 Corinthians 13:13. I mean, greater than faith, why? Because faith will only work to the level of our love for God. Galatians 5:6. Church Gist. The hotter our love for God, the more vibrant our faith in delivery. The faith of every true lover puts him supernaturally in command.
We know that faith can fail. Luke 22:32. We know that not all visions see the light of day but love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:8. Church Gist. Every genuine lover of God is immune to failure. He may be challenged but he comes out gloriously triumphant. Every genuine lover of God is immune to failure.
- In the precious name of Jesus, may everyone return from this service today with a fresh baptism of the spirit of love.
But like we know, nothing of value is ever free. We need to know the cost of love and subscribe to same so as to stay in love with God. Luke 14:26-28. Following after Christ is at a cost but the return is far more valuable than any cost it demands on us. Church Gist. “We have left all and we have followed you, what shall we have?” “Hundredfold, now, in this present time and in the world to come everlasting”. 10,000 percent returns on any cost it may have placed on you. Love at no cost is fake. Church Gist. Yes, love is a choice but at a cost as we saw in the case of Abraham – Abraham, the friend of God, Abraham the unreserved obedient servant of God. The enduring servant of God, the tireless obedient servant of God. Love is a choice but at cost.
We saw David, the Lover. He took his life in his hand and went against Goliath, “If I perish, I perish.” Love is at a cost but the returns are of inestimable value. We saw Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, “We will never bow to your graven image. We are madly in love with God” and God brought them out of the fiery furnace without a smell of fire on them. Church Gist. Love is at a cost but the returns are unmatchable. Daniel, a well favoured leader in Babylon. The King even pressured him, “Even pretend, pretend that you bow.” “No! I’ll never deny my God.” Daniel remained relevant for 65 long years as ruler in Babylon. Paul, the Apostle. Romans 8:35. He was all out for God and it’s still speaking today. That’s why we need the Spirit of Love so that you keep going in season and out of season.
When one is in love with God, he secures His ever-abiding presence that will always make the difference in the adventure of life. Romans 8:31. Don’t fight a lover of this God, you’ll be fighting against God and you can never win. When you’re in love with God, anything against you is coming against God and when God shows up, it shows. Thank You, Jesus. There is an aspect of this Man that was said he will die in 7 days. Church Gist. I was told now by the pastors in charge that a doctor who said so, by the time he went back for a checkup, the doctor is gone. “I don’t know what happened, yeye God!” What God are you talking about? Maybe, I don’t know. Anyone fighting against a lover of Jesus is fighting against God and God will show him pepper. I don’t know many who have gone to the abyss fighting against this Church. I can’t tell how many who have gone to the other side, fighting against you. God, won’t even let you know.
-May you not be found fighting against God.
We need the Spirit of Love to sustain our love for God in season and out of season. Every true lover of God ends up supernaturally blessed. The list is all over Scriptures.
-You are the one God is talking to. No matter where you are today, your end is enviable. Your end is colourful in the name of Jesus Christ.
Why do we need the Spirit of Love?
- To empower us to pay the price of love with delight.
Abraham was such a hilarious, obedient friend of God with delight. “Get thee out of your country.” “Circumcise all the male born in your country.” As soon as God left speaking with him, he began. “Take your son, your only son, Isaac.” He rose up early in the morning and smiling, he wasn’t groaning otherwise the Boy would run away. He was enjoying it. Church Gist. And he could also say to the Boy, the Lord will provide. He told the young men, “Wait here, me and the Lad will go and worship and come back.” He was worshipping under that grievous commandment. Genesis 22:5. The Spirit of Love empowers us to obey God with delight. You’re in love with delight, you’re not coerced, you’re not stressed. You’re not struggling with it. That’s why they call Him our helper. - The Spirit of Love empowers our faith to deliver maximally. 1 Corinthians 13:1-3. It is love that gives value to our faith. Church Gist. Love is what gives value to our faith.
- Love empowers us to believe all that Jesus says, what may be happening around us notwithstanding. 1 Corinthians 13:7, Acts 24:14. Love empowers us to believe all things and that enables us to do all things. It’s to everyone according to what he believes. Church Gist.So all things you believe, becomes possibilities in your life. Philippians 4:13. If you can believe all things, you can do all things. So the Spirit of love is our access to the world of unlimited possibilities.
- It empowers us to command signs and wonders. John 14:21. When you are in love, God keeps manifesting Himself in your life without you crying for it. Church Gist. He keeps showing up on your issues without crying for it. He gave them commandment to go and they went and he was working with them confirming the Word with signs following.
- I see signs following you from now!
- Love empowers our giving life for supernatural wealth. Nobody can pray and fast into supernatural wealth. It’s giving and giving and giving that does. You sow sparingly you, you reap sparingly. So he empowers us to keep sowing bountifully, so you can keep reaping bountifully. When you are in love with God, giving becomes a delight. 2 Corinthians 8:3-5…They first! Their heart was with God. So, their things can easily go for things of God. Church Gist. They first gave their own selves to God and they gave of their substance to us to help give out to those that are in need. That’s why we need the Spirit of love. It empowers our giving life beyond our natural capacity.
You are told we still had five new coaster buses added to the fleet this week. Some individuals must have said, “look, I want to do this even though they said we got enough. Church Gist. I’m going to add my own to it.” It empowers…You are not struggling, it’s just your life.
Sir, no matter how much teaching you have, no matter how much teaching you preach as a pastor, it is impossible to taste supernatural wealth without being a giver. It’s impossible. 2 Corinthians 8:7-8. Giving is a proof of the sincerity of our love. God so love and God so gave. “If I so love, what am I so giving?” It includes your time, your energy and your resources. Church Gist. God so love and so God so gave all that He had. That’s the wonder behind the Spirit of law. It empowers your giving life beyond your natural capacity.
- In the precious name of Jesus, my prayer is that your love for God will never wax cold!
No human effort can match the favor that attends to a lover of God. When you are in love with God, you end up the envy of your world. “For eyes have not seen, nor ears heard, nor has it entered the heart of any man the things that God has prepared for them that love Him.” Church Gist. Never seen, never heard. There are men like that in this sanctuary today.
- Things that people have never imagined will start happening by your hand!
Now watch, how could a l0cal church like your church have two universities that are world-ranking universities in no time? God! Church Gist When God shows up, He brings something out of nothing.
- Something is coming out of your life!
I heard one of those dons from one of the first-generation universities say, “We are chasing hard after you.” Chasing hard after us; We came about 55 years after them, we are chasing hard after you! Watch, in your business, in your career, in your endeavor, that’s what God wants to make of you. Amen. Church Gist. Just stay genuinely in love. Don’t mistake activity for love. The price of love is paid by individuals, not by teams. “Do you love Me?” Not “Do they love Me?” So, you better find your place. Praise God!
I have seen some things by grace in my life that were never seen before. I was alive and I saw this building up in one year without budget, without begg!ng, without borr0wing, without ow!ng. Church Gist. God can make anything happen with anyone that chooses to be in love with Him.

They can only bĕg us that “Please, please” And I said, “There’s no begg!ng. We didn’t give you the money; we kept it with you. When we need it, we call for it.” Praise God.

Abraham never borr0wed once. His love for God was the source of supplies.

Thank You, Jesus. In this third Showers of Blessing, we look at this briefly: Anointing for supernatural blessings. Psalm 23:5–6: “Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enem!es: Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.” Church Gist. Under that anointing, “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Supernatural blessings mean blessings without break all the days of your life. The world will tell you every day is not Christmas; that’s not in the Bible. Church Gist. “He daily loadeth us with benefits.” Daily means every day. Every day means no break.
- Now, by the anointing today, I see God launch everyone into this realm of blessings without break!
But He said, “If you let Me lead you, if you let Me be your Shepherd, your head will not run dry of oil.” And then every day will be Christmas for you. Church Gist. And our principal guide is the Holy Spirit. So, when you allow Him to lead you, He leads into realms of increasing anointing and turning every day to a blessing.
- In the name of Jesus, no one here will miss His leading anymore.
In Joel 2:23-27: “Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the Lord your God: for He hath given you the former rain moderately, and He will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month. And the floors shall be full of wheat; the fats shall overflow with wine and oil. Church Gist. And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankĕrworm, and the caterp!llar, and the palmĕrworm, My great army which I sent among you. And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the Lord your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you: and My people shall never be ash@med.”
Wondrous acts of God, supernatural acts of God that restores lost years.
· Now by the anointing today, every year lost to you shall be restored!
My people shall never be ashamed not by any human condition. He said by my wondrous act by supernatural act.
· So, every trace of shame around anyone’s life by this anointing today, they are turned around in your favor!
In verse 27, He said, “And you shall know that I’m in the midst of Israel.” The world will know that God is on your side and then I’m the Lord your God and on earth and my people shall never. Church Gist. So, His blessings terminate shame and reproach.
· Therefore, whatever speaks of shame and reproach in any aspect of your life, whatever makes people ask, where is your God? By the anointing today, that siege is over!
By this anointing today, we shall be empowered to align with the demands of blessings that have no sorrow so as to remain under the showers of blessings all the days of our lives. Church Gist.This among others includes: anointing for delightsome and tireless obedience which is a master key to a world of blessings. If you hearken to my voice and observe to do what I tell you to do, I will set you high above all nations on the earth and all these blessings will come to you and overtake you.
· It’s your new era!
He made a list of that up until verse 13 of it. Blessings at home, blessings at work, on your journeys, everywhere. All in response to your delightsome obedience.
· By this anointing today, every seed of disobedience in your heart shall be destroyed!
Ezekiel 36:27. So, there’s a spirit of obedience that helps us to joyfully, delightsomly obey God without stress.
· That’s your new realm!
It’s our selfless stewardship that empowers us to feel our glorious destiny. He said, I put my spirit within you. You shall not be discouraged. You will keep pressing till the end. Now he said, “Behold my servant whom I have upheld; mine elect, in whom my spirit delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: He shall bring forth judgment to Gentiles.” Verse 4, he shall not fail nor be discouraged.
· By this anointing, obeying God will not become history in your life! Panting after God will not become history in your life and the blessings will keep showing everywhere!
Like mentioned, our tireless giving life positions us under an open heaven order of financial blessings.
· No more financial dryness in your life!
· The same way your church has triumphed for 45 years without begging, without borrowing, without games, in the name of Jesus and you are onboard this same flight, I decree an end to financial struggles in your life!
For instance, blessings demand joy and gladness. Psalm 67:5-7. The anointing is the oil of joy and the oil of gladness.
· By this anointing today, may every siege of depression that’s robbing you access to God’s blessings be terminated in your life!
I’ve never met the man Copeland in a down state. You call him any time, you could feel the joy of life inside him. I spoke with him last night. I said this man is never down any time for any reason. He’ll be 90 by December. You can’t be cold around him. You know joy is a mystery. If you don’t understand, you don’t understand blessings. Church Gist. The blessings of God require a joyful atmosphere for release. Joyful atmosphere for release. Paul said, “Rejoice in the Lord always.” And again, I say what? Rejoice. Rejoice ever more. All the harvest of the field has perished because joy is withered away from God’s people. Don’t dry up your environment. Stay alive with the joy of the Lord. Fearful blessings demand joy and gladness.
