The theme is ‘LET’S PRAISE HIM’ and tonight we will be looking at, ‘ENJOYING REST THROUGH DIVINE VENGEANCE.’

In Genesis 8:4.

• I declare to someone this shall be to you a season of rest!
  There’s nothing as sweet as rest and God is the giver of rest. 1 Kings 5:3-4. Rest is real; before we got to this point it used to be war. Church Gist. People around us were fighting us but a time came, everybody became quiet. Then if you want to fight they will tell you, do you want to die?

Life story: a freemason man put Fela music in front and was disturbing the Church here. Then he went to freemason to report us. The head of freemason called him and said, ‘don’t you know there are places where you don’t go to? Church Gist. Even if you want to look for trouble, is it Salvation Ministries? This one, freemason will not join you; only you go.’ When his boss had told him, ‘don’t go there,’ he removed the speaker. One of his ears became deaf.

A woman was disturbing this Church then one day, this kind of service I held it. She came out naked, tore her clothes and was running out. Church Gist. They closed the gate. Then, she knew it was because she was disturbing us. Nobody told her not to disturb again otherwise she will just go mad. So we had rest.

• Today all of them troubling you will face the bush!

A cult in Nigeria troubled me, took me to the cemetery. The testimony is on tape so I am not guessing. They paid people that they should take my name to the cemetery for 10 years. I had no idea. Church Gist. They said every night, they will go to a particular grave and invoke their names. They were 8 occultic men. 7 of them died remaining one; God kept him so that we can hear the testimony. That one remaining was their seer. He was sleeping when a voice came and said, ‘go and confess to David Ibiyeomie what has been happening otherwise you will die.’ He woke up. So he came with his legs. Church Gist. They said he is looking for me, I said I don’t see nonsense people; you people should see him. And he opened up. He said for 10 years, 2001 – 2011 we have been on this man and all of us have been dying one after the other remaining only him. He said he came to confess so that he too will not die; from Olumba Olumba. It’s on tape; we covered his face so that people will not kill him in Church and he was among their first 7. Church Gist. We led him to Christ, brought his garments, we burned them, he is in our midst at the headquarters here.

• If God did not allow them for 10 years, everyone troubling you, they will go right now!
• The rest that God gives comes after vengeance has taken place against our enemies. From today, you will no longer see the effects of the works of the adversaries in your life.

Hear this and hear me well: rest and comfort will not come until vengeance is executed against the adversary and his agents after your life and destiny. Isaiah 61:2. The acceptable year of the Lord has nothing to do with calendar. Church Gist. It means the season you will enter into your jubilee. It is a season of favourable manifestation of God’s promises. It is a season of being restored to dignity and honour. The acceptable year of the Lord is when things stop worrying you and things start working in your favour. A season of entering into rest all round.

• After this vengeance, you will enter into your rest.

Please listen, don’t make any mistake: you can’t enter rest without vengeance; it is impossible. If you know the problems we went through here, the gang up here that this Church (the Headquarters) will not be here, people came out and said this Church must leave. Church Gist. After we did heavy weight praise, all the people that ganged up, in less than 3 weeks all of them left this place. One was a military officer, they transferred her. One, they took the house where she was living; landlord said money or no money they should go. All of them left, so nobody to fight us. Church Gist. Then one came and we bought his property and entered rest. There can never be rest without vengeance. If Jesus never bruised the serpent, Christianity will not have experienced rest.

What is vengeance? Vengeance is extreme and intense punishment inflicted on anyone or evil forces for a wrong done or intended whether in secret or in open. Church Gist. It is a supernatural weapon in the hands of the saints to put the devil and his agents continually under our feet. Romans 13:4 (Bible in Basic English).

• Everyone tormenting your life, I decree this day whatever they did to you goes back to them.

Life story: I was ministering here, and a woman had physical sore in one of the Igbo lands. The sore refused to heal. They took her to hospital, sore refused to go. I was ministering and I said whatever placed on you returns to sender. Physical sore left the woman; the young lady standing here, sore left her mother’s leg to her aunt’s leg physically. Church Gist. I prayed and said, ‘anybody behind it, the one that wants to help, God judge all of them.’ The aunt went to the witch doctor, and the witch doctor said, ‘the man who prayed this prayer said that if I do, I die. So, go and tell your sister that you are responsible for her problem.’ That’s how they knew that it was their aunty. So, the aunty confessed.

2 Thessalonians 1:6. It is unrighteous if you refuse to engage the God of vengeance against the workers of wickedness. One of the fastest ways for God to execute vengeance in our favour is through the weapon of praise. Church Gist. When we engage the weapon of praise, God is moved to act on our behalf and until you stir God with heartfelt praise, the enemy will not be disarmed. It is your praise that makes God to destroy those troubling you. As long as people trouble you, if they are there, you can’t go forward. There are people who have made themselves oppressors.

• After this day, I decree, everyone troubling you will not see tomorrow morning

Where the cathedral is being built, the place was not paid by any man. After we paid for it, a particular government said we should not build. I said what is the problem, why will we not build for where we paid? Church Gist. They said no! I called the man who is in charge, His Excellency, and he said we should look for another property. I prayed for him to be governor so I shut the door, I said I am not going to talk to any mortal man. They refused us to build, and it was so fierce that they said if anybody attempts that they should shoot the person. That was the order given. So I said well, you carry gun, I carry God. They physically went and brought down our fence and Winners Chapel fence. Church Gist. A lion’s fence, 2 people: Oyedepo and Ibiyeomie. I said at this point I don’t need to call my father, I am here. Whatever he has taught me I know what to do. So I went physically to the fence they brought down, and I lifted the broken blocks. And I said, ‘Lord, this is your house. Church Gist. This same way they broke these block, whoever gave the order, may the life be broken.’ I dropped the blocks.

I prayed that prayer Thursday after service; Friday, the one who gave the order for the fence to be brought down, he went to a night club. As he was coming out, he was hit by a car and died on the spot. Church Gist. Then the one who signed the paper and told the truck of soldiers to go and bring it down, died from sleep Sunday night. Greater Port Harcourt – that’s the organization’s name, and I said, ‘Greater Port Harcourt from today, go into extinction.’ Greater Port Harcourt died; they had to come physically to beg me for me to revoke it. Church Gist. They didn’t pay them salary for almost 4 years then a member who is here, a part time pastor said, ‘Sir, for my sake.’ Please pray that they should remember us.

• Now, anyone who has vowed to torment your life, this is their last weekend in the name of Jesus.

They brought an organization, Timariff, with a target. Listen, ‘don’t ever make policies having a Church at the back of your mind.’ Church Gist. They said anywhere you pack car, you pay. Then Timariff went to the governor and the governor said, ‘don’t you see Salvation Ministries? Anywhere they pack cars charge them.’ When they came with the letter, I looked at the letter and said, ‘letter, your voice and the one behind it is cursed.’ Church Gist. And I said, ‘Timariff for doing that, go into extinction.’ Timariff is not existing; I was the one that cursed timariff. Jesus cursed the fig tree.

• Anyone after you, I command them to go into extinction.

A man came on air and said Churches must do this. I said give me the man’s name. It was a federal news they carried it; he was insulting all the elders – Adeboye, Oyedepo. Church Gist. Never you insult Adeboye and Oyedepo where I am; I won’t look at you, I will kill you. If you insult me I may even leave you but if you insult Adeboye or Oyedepo I won’t leave you; I will tear you to pieces. They gave me the name by 1 o’clock; I said, ‘God, this man must not stay in office again.’ Church Gist. By 4 o’clock they announced his name on network that he has been removed – the same day. I said, ‘come and give your policy again.’

• Now today, anyone after you before you wake tomorrow they have left this world.

Hear this and hear me well: it is praise that makes God destroy those troubling you. What is praise? Praise is celebrating and magnifying the greatness of God; for what He has done, what He can do, and what He will do. Church Gist. It is a supernatural instrument of warfare that triggers the destructive arrows of God in the camp of the enemies to discomfit and destroy them. It is God’s given weapon to humiliate the evil men and evil workers including the devil. Psalm 149:6-9. If you are not executing judgement you are not honourable.

It is the saints’ honour to trigger God through praise to execute vengeance so that we can enjoy rest. You can’t enjoy rest praying religious prayer, ‘Father, forgive them.’ Church Gist. Let me tell you, Christianity today if you pray that prayer you will never enjoy rest; they will slap you to shege.

Some killers saw a young boy who was a cult member working outside (outside this Church) and they stopped their car with arms to teeth. Church Gist. They stayed there for hours looking at him; he didn’t know. After they wound down their glasses and said, ‘we saw you working here. Thank God you are in this Church if it was somewhere else we would have brought you down but we know if we bring you down here, they (Church) will pray and nobody (the killers) here will live.’ They drove off. Church Gist. The young boy came and said what his former cult people told him.

• I don’t care, because you are a child of God, whoever plans to kill you will go down.

Hear this and hear me well: rest is assured when you are able to stay at the presence of God for manifestation. Exodus 33:14. All that made Moses who he is, was the presence of God. Church Gist. Moses was in the house of Pharaoh but when he went back he said Pharaoh, you are a small man. ‘Let my people go.’ When God’s presence is with you, you will be intoxicated. You talk with audacity.

Psalm 68:1-3. Let God arise means you do something to stir God to manifest and that is praise. God is with you but He will not arise until you begin to praise Him. Church Gist. It takes manifesting the presence of God for the wicked to perish and the easiest way to provoke this manifestation is through praise. Psalm 22:3.
Vengeance praise is what hands over our battles to God. Hear this and hear me well: there are believers today, that the yoke and burden they are facing has denied them rest. Church Gist. But I have good news for you: after the praise today, every situation that represents a yoke, denying your rest, will be crushed in the name of Jesus. Let nobody deceive you brothers and sisters, you cannot enter into rest until vengeance is executed against your enemies. Church Gist. Just imagine a boxer in the ring who only defends; they will kill him. The best way to be on the defensive is to be on the offensive. In the physical, that is how Israel behaves. Israel will carry their jets go to the Hamas zone and bomb it. Church Gist. Then, United Nations will put money to repair it. They are few but they understand Scriptures.

Isaiah 9:2-4 (NKJV). That day of great joy, deliverance, lifting, promotion, total liberty, rest, will not come as long as you allow the devil and his agents to have their way. Church Gist. But today’s vengeance praise will break and destroy every yoke of the devil over your life in the name of Jesus.

• I don’t know where you have been held down, under this unction, be loosed in the name of Jesus.
• Any force that has held you down from taking advanced steps, be free in the name of Jesus.
• Your liberty is established in the name of Jesus

Exodus 15:11. Tomorrow I am going to teach on this part of Scripture. Holiness is what makes things perfect. Church Gist. You can easily experience the fearful acts of God against your enemies through praise. Revelation 12:9. My greatest instrument against forces is praise. I have told you about the journalist story, I have told you so many things. When anything gets to a point, I don’t pray. I shut my door and when I praise, that matter is settled, no matter how fierce it may look like. Church Gist. And when I want to praise, I praise in a way that you can’t believe. I lock door, I clear the way, I go down, I come up (in dancing). When I am through, He (God) says, ‘my son, forget. Watch what will happen.’ Every time I praise God like that, testimonies are born. Church Gist. Don’t be waiting for only Church; go inside, lock door. Are you hearing me now?

You want to see the greatness of God? Now listen: Thanksgiving has to do with the goodness of God; Praise has to do with the greatness of God; Worship has to do with the holiness of God. If you want to see the greatness of God, praise God. We fast too much, we don’t praise. What 40 days prayer can’t do, one day praise will do. Church Gist. I don’t play down on fasting and prayer, don’t misquote me. Most times we fast thinking it is only fasting and prayer. Fasting and prayer without praise is protest. Some people say, ‘we are going to bombard Heaven.’ How can you bombard Heaven? Are you Ukraine and Russia? You can’t bombard God; please praise God.

It takes in depth understanding of praise to provoke the vengeance of God. Psalm 47:1-7. Let me ask you these questions based on the Scripture we just read:
Do you want to triumph over your enemies?
Do you want to invoke God’s vengeance in your favour?
Do you want to see all the demonic forces against your life, family, business, and destiny brought under your feet by divine judgment?
Do you want your inheritance in Christ to come to you speedily without any delay or hindrance?
Then, engage your heart in a heart rooted praise.
Today, the vengeance of God will strike in the camp of our enemies and God will give us all round rest. Your target is, ‘Lord, strike and give me all round rest.’
