The first song Minister Lange was singing, I sang along with him and not that I know the song before but I am a spiritual man. ChurchGist. Stop behaving like you’re natural, some people, once they see something they are not used to they just switch off, not knowing that the things that you are used to you learnt it, then why do you want to stop learning? The Word of God said sing to me a New Song, God demanded for something new, you said no I want old, praise God.
Father this evening we honour you, the letter kills but the Spirit gives life, breathe upon this word and let lives not remain the same in Jesus name.
Ephesians 2:10 is my deliberation tonight as I begin to build up, we are not machine work we are created by God, if someone ask you or if a Muslim asks you, why do you want me to be born again? Why did Jesus save you? After I was saved why did he leave me behind? Why didn’t he take me to heaven? So that we may do the good works that he predestined and planned for us beforehand. ChurchGist. So, nobody can talk me out of it because he planned that beforehand, before I made my first mistake he planned it, but I made my first impression of God he planted it beforehand.
There is a life prearranged, there is a life made ready for us, for you and I to live. ChurchGist. Now, it takes a process that is why I stated on the 31st night that the path of the Just is like a shining light, you are been revealed bit by bit, but where you are is not all that there is to be, there is something called the best life in Christ Jesus. ChurchGist. There are two things in this life, the way things are and the ways things ought to be, we go for the way things ought to be when we are where things are, we have learnt how to abase we have also learnt how to abound, but we go for the way things ought to be, because that is God’s best for our life, somebody say Halleluyah to that.
So, there is a life prearranged, there is a life ahead of time, that life was constructed for you and I to live in, but I wanted you to see a phrase there that will help me as a pedestal to move higher this evening. ChurchGist. It says we are his workmanship recreated in Christ Jesus, that we may do those good works which God predestined. Where is that new work? This new works was created from good works, may I quickly say at this point, you may be outside, I saw a lot of people outside, let’s celebrate them, some will never worship God unless it is comfortable, Halleluyah.
The Bible says we are created for good works, that you build bridges, you give people things, you helped people, anything that you’re doing that is representing Christ on earth, like you becoming the God so that some people can understand what is called good works, waking up and praying with people, looking at someone in church that is sad and you say to him/her I want to come to your house and live with you for 3 months , you leave your mansion and you go into a 2 bedroom apartment, to help the person stand those are good works, good works don’t save you. ChurchGist. You’re an usher, you’re a protocol, a protocol can go to hell if he is not careful, in fact church office is the fastest place to hell, church office is where they steal money.
If an average person takes a contract from a church they will add more money to the cost, so good works, it’s like somebody who is always coming to church, it does not save you, doesn’t impress God. ChurchGist. But the moment you’re saved, you’re saved unto good works, a lot of people don’t understand the message of Grace, I am not saying it is not true, they don’t understand it, some will behave anyhow and do anything and say they are already in grace, that is not why Jesus died – Titus 2:11-12(NIV), Grace is firstly a teacher, it is not an indulger, it teaches us to say NO to ungodliness. ChurchGist. God said in the midst of this crooked and perverse world, God has called you forth unto good works and what grace is doing in your life and my life is that it teaches us to say no to some things, the popular things, the things that gives other people accolades, it is teaching us to say no to them, things that trend in your neighborhood, what makes you popular in your campus, at work what makes you cool.
Grace is a teacher building you up to say no, maybe before you joined the 12 Days of Glory you are a Christian but you are a smoker, cigarette tells you smoke me, before you do say Yes sir…. But suddenly you say no… I am not smoking you anymore. ChurchGist. Normally you finish a sack of weed in 7 days but you say no….grace is at work in you, tell three people say grace is a teacher, say I sense the voice it is loud in your life, he is teaching you somethings right now, if you yield, your life will not remain the same.
It is not something you are doing to do your pastor a favour or do God a favour, it has been arranged from the foundation of the world that you should live in it. ChurchGist. That is why if you do something right in that light you feel good, you feel enlightened, because there is like a deja vu on your inside saying this is what God said I am, not who I used to be, like they marked a script and gave you an award, you are excited about that life and when you slip back depression comes, you are disappointed, if care is not taken you can slip into depression because that is not what God arranged for you from the foundation of the world. ChurchGist. When you were smoking weed, going to places I don’t want to waste my time mentioning, you know it, your friends were clapping for you on your way to destruction, now you’re coming to church, what is wrong with you let me borrow you sense in 2022, since when did you become my custodian, when I was perishing you did not care, it is because suddenly you’re in alignment with the life God prearranged for you from the foundation of the world.
Let me tell you something, in that path is where you will find a good wife, on that path is where you’re going to find partners, on that path is where God will repair you, refurbish you and represent you to your generation. ChurchGist. Listen, if you walked the Earth and you only drove in a nice car, lived in a nice house, wore good clothes and you didn’t fulfill destiny, you wasted your time.
There is a life prepared for you and I to live before the foundation of the world, look at your neighbour say I don’t know what you’re doing here but I was born for this. ChurchGist. Our works matters, works don’t save you, works don’t impress God but the moment you’re saved, your works starts to count, you enter the University and ask what are they doing? GNS 101, You entered and you wrote the exam without admission, that exam is rubbish, after they marked it and you got the highest score, where is your admission? Where is your matric number? But the moment you receive a matric number, you go straight to the lecture room, after then you write exams and then the exam matters and you move to 200 level and then to 300 level if you’re an engineering student you move to 500 level for medical student you move to 600 or 700 level before you graduate. ChurchGist. But that I just like what they do in that compound, you entered the place you wrote exams, you will just be fooling yourself, without admission.
So, after you’re born again the next things is works, as a matter of fact when we get to heaven, there is something called the white throne Judgement of God, you have already made it to heaven, they tell you to sit down, what takes you here is not what you did. ChurchGist. Here we will now try what you did, all our works will pass through fire, some people’s work they are giving is mere eye service.
There is a woman that was fighting her husband many years ago and I said what is going on here, she said pastor your son is a pretender, I said how can you say that, she said I will be forcing this man to pray at home he will not pray, then he will come to church and be forming strong prayer warrior, that kind of works the moment it passes through the fire it will burn like a grass, you come and you just see smokes, it will not stand. ChurchGist. Your works will stand can I hear your amen like thunder.
Those who are mocking you in the name of Jesus, this is the year they will bow before your maker, can I feel faith in your amen. The one that was the custodian of the message of Grace was also the custodian of the message of Reward – 1st Corinthians 3:8, some people have been born again for 10 years and there is nothing the Heavens can record to them. ChurchGist. To pray they cannot, if they want to pray it is about them and their enemies, if the prayer point is not about them and their enemies they will just tune off, soul winning they will not do, giving they will not do, helping people NO! Encouraging someone that is saved, when they make altar call and people are plenty, they will say I just hope they will follow this people up, the people following them up do they have another father and you have another father too, are they in another kingdom.
I used to sit at the back and mark two people per service and I will just grab them, do you have transport fare, take, see me later, I will be at the gate waiting for you, come early o, have you heard about early morning prayers, no! no! no! You have to come, encouraging somebody unto righteousness, pushing somebody unto righteousness.
My wife is my witness, two years before we started this Church we used to take at least 50 people to the Church we attended every service, sometimes we look at them no! This one is Christ Embassy, this one is Rhema Chapel, this one has that one he can fit, we just carry anybody. ChurchGist. In fact, when we started the fellowship apart from God telling us to start the fellowship, the people we were reaching out to, when we went to school and came back, they would have backslidden, they will tell us we are not enjoying the Church like the word you’re telling us, I said really. ChurchGist. One of them not too long ago listened to my message and sent me a message online and said Pastor Biodun preaching in church is not as interesting as one on one with you, I said that is the work of the Holy Ghost, because some people knows my mouth, it takes another form when I hold the microphone, I am a very gentle person.
1st Corinthians 15:58, abounding means to increasingly increase, so you should challenge yourself what I did for God in 2021 and we are not just talking about money even waking up and praying. ChurchGist. I used to wake up and pray many years ago and if I am led I still raise the prayer: Lord I release my name in the atmosphere for intercessors to pick it up all over the world, the Holy Ghost told me to say it once in a while, there are times you pray alone the more you pray the more you feel it, there are priests all over the earth, a lot of people have not discovered their priesthood, a Priest is someone that stands in the gap between humanity and divinity and they are bridging the gap.
Some People will say I am just doing it o, I don’t want anything, that is somebody that will not give God quality. ChurchGist. if you’re into fisheries solely just for people to look at, then you can throw any kind of fish inside, but if you’re doing it for commercial purpose, you will be looking for the right fingerlings that can explode. If you know that you’re reward conscious you don’t sow ordinary seeds. ChurchGist. Put your hand on your chest and say everything I do in 2022, the one my friends laughed at me, the one that seems like Pastor doesn’t even know, the one that seems like after I did it, things grew worse for me, I am going to start doing them this year, knowing that my labour is not in vain in the Lord. Do you know that God can forgive your sins, mistakes and forget them, atonement is different from remission.
In the New Testament it is remission, just like the boat you played with when you were young, that paper you turned into a boat and when it was raining in your house and you dropped it in the drainage and you left it, you never saw it again, behold the lamb of God that takes away, not cover, it takes away the sins of the world, if you remember it is just your memory, God does not remember but there is something God can never forget- Hebrews 6:10, that work you’ve done after you’re born again, even when you forget God does not forget, there are battles you see in Life that is about to be over, you just turn back and say father remember and God will turn, you will be shocked, be very deliberate in 2022.
If you’re single, there are things God will make you do today that you will not be able to do in the next 10 years. ChurchGist. Imagine me at the age that COZA started, my wife and I worked in this Church for the first 8 years not because we didn’t want to take salary but there was no money to take, imagine me doing it now with my grown kids, God will not even bring it to me, because my faith can carry it, my wife’s faith can carry it but kids don’t understand that. So do what you gotta do when you gotta do it. God spoke to me that when they say harvest time not everybody should say Amen because they have nothing to reap, they didn’t have the right seeds.
Some people don’t really want harvest of the things they have sown, they have gossiped about people, they have said things they are not supposed to say about people, they have told lies about people and you know that when I am preaching, I am not preaching to those in this room alone, 120 nations are watching us, I am not preaching faith it is there right now, you heard the preacher yesterday, he preached yesterday and they were calling him from Australia, calling him from everywhere, so that is the kind of Church you’re in now, I am not speaking to those in this room only. ChurchGist. I am speaking prophetically to everyone under the sound of my voice, even to those who will rebroadcast it, the power is strong. I prophesy to you, you will do well, this is one year that you will do well in the name of Jesus by your walk with God, because you see what guarantees your work is your walk, may you not work for God and not walk with God.
Abraham walked with God, the first instruction was Abraham walk before me and be perfect, walk before me, let me always see you in my track. ChurchGist. A lot of people work for God but they don’t walk with God, that’s why you see workers are broke, you see prayer warriors are down, anybody can be where they do things in their terms, that is why you see people volunteering, you may not see them next week, they do their bit and go away, but when you’re working in a place even when you’re sick you will drag yourself there if you like yourself, then your boss can look at you and say go and rest. ChirchGist. if you can’t go you will be calling and calling just to let them know, but if it is volunteer and they are not paying and you don’t cherish it, you just dump everything there, the day you appear the day you don’t appear it is not a big deal but let me tell you something this year your works shall be rewarded.
Genesis 24: 1-8, After many years that God has blessed Abraham after he left where he was already established and settled down, he told his servant, the God that I followed when I did not know anything will go with you and he will sort things out, when others are shaking, listen, listen son I have been following God, I have walked with God and on that account, you’re going to that place, and you will prosper. ChurchGist. Will you be able to say something in the next 20 years, do you have a walk with God, has God told you to jump into a ditch and you jumped blindly, what have you discovered by your relationship with God that is beyond the Bible, what have you seen, Peter said the things our eyes have seen, our hands have handled, what have you experienced.
Job said I have been hearing about God from the hearing of the ear but now I see God, what is it that you see, it says be still and know that I am God, stop doing things inside flesh, calm down and know a side of God, know a new dimension of God. ChurchGist. I prophesy to someone here and by now you should know that I am not just praying, I am aligning you in the spirit, your mistakes will be turned into miracles. Genesis 24:36, there are people coming to church they don’t have a walk with God, I have been in a situation that there is food on your table and God said son you are not eating today and you say yes sir, are you on that level? there is a walk.
When you see somebody speaks and God honours it, somebody enters into trouble and God helps him out, somebody takes a decision that is accurate they have a walk with God. ChurchGist. Some of my Mentors marvel me a lot, when I see the way they operate, they will just tell me Biodun calm down this is the what the Lord is saying and this is what will happen watch it and some of the things they are saying is totally against the natural principle, I will just be looking at them in awe, I look at my wife and say are you sure of these things and then they insist, they say let us fast about it and Boom, there is the results, I keep saying wow, wow, if you don’t see a wow in your life you’re not walking with God.
A king that defeated 5 Presidents and he mistakenly took Abraham’s nephew and Abraham took his quack servants that knows nothing about war and they defeated them flawlessly, it is a result of the walk. ChurchGist. Moses ran away from Egypt because he understood that Pharaoh was the only king with two crowns, if Pharaoh declares you wanted you become a fugitive, any country you enter they will hand you over because if he hears that they harbored you, he won’t even touch them, he will just drive his chariot, that was the greatest weapon at that time. ChurchGist. He will just drive it through the people.
Did you see the reaction of the children of Israel when they saw Pharaoh with chariots and horses, they began to shout, they knew the danger, they had spikes around them, they will level the city down and then Moses met God and God said I am sending you back, Moses said what will I show him, God said a rod, it takes knowing God to enter Egypt with a rod, it takes a walk with God, he entered Egypt, you that was declared wanted and then you entered and went to see Pharaoh, do you know the kind of Jazz in Egypt, till tomorrow, they embalm their dead and it is fresh for life, you saw the result when Moses came and dropped his rod, Jannes and Jambres did everything Moses did, until the blood was introduced. ChurchGist. The whole stubbornness of Pharaoh did you think it was 1 week, it was for nine months.
I have changed because of the excellence propensity in me, everything has to be in place before I take a step, 3 years ago I stopped it, when God says move just move, ChurchGist. Someone I respect just told we yesterday, how did you do your Coza Tv, how did you know how to arrange things, do you have a consultant? I said yes, the Holy Ghost, we started in the Pandemic, my wife and I just agreed, people were telling us to relax, we said no, we paid to kick start, the first people we got resigned, we got another set of people and pump it into the TV, I just told my wife you will be in charge I have never gone to the office and say what are you people doing, in my opinion it is one of the best Christian TV, the graphics are changing every day, the programming is changing every single day, if I show you the people running it with my wife you will be so shocked, the hand of the Lord came because of the assignment.
I discovered if God wants to buy you a shoe it will never be your size, it will always be oversize, so don’t see it and shout it is bigger than me you just step in, in fact the hat that you have that is bigger than you, is the hat God is looking for, check the Bible you will never see somebody that God called and the person said yes, I have been expecting this call, father you’re even late, I am anointed, I can heal the sick sir. Everybody is always running; it takes time to convince them. ChurchGist. This year what God will give you will intimidate you, you will need to fast, you will need to pray, you will need to declare scripture to be able to access it, it will be bigger than you.
What do you think happened to Daniel as they were ushering him into the lion’s den, Daniel did not know what will happen, he just know he had a walk with God, if you don’t have a walk with God and you enter a circumstance you will be shaking, but if you have a walk with God, you may not happy be about it but you know that somehow God will show up. I don’t know how you started this year, that situation will be turned around.
They that know their God, those who walk with God will be strong, they will not be weak and they will do great exploits, if you’re not doing great exploits you’re not walking properly with God, tap your neighbor say I was made for exploit, now listen and listen close, what do you think happened to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, those guys were teenagers, they were called the three Hebrew children. ChurchGist. They said King Nebuchadnezzar we are sorry sir, we know how strong you are but we will not bow to this thing, we will not, some of our problems is that we are already 30, 35 years before we gave our lives to Jesus Christ, we cannot easily let go of our old ways, patterns, they are strongholds, mindset, prison of the mind, you cast them and being them to the Obedience of God.
The Hebrew children from when they were young, the first education they knew was the Bible, it was Torah so what are you talking about. ChurchGist. Their fathers crossed Jordan, they brought the stones home, when they grew up, they saw the stones in their house, they saw their father walking with the Lord. You remember how Gideon challenge the Lord and said where is the Lord God of our fathers, if you are with us the way you were with our fathers, how come these Midianites are doing this, that was what they knew. Some of us are the first-generation Christians in our family. Juju everywhere in the family, now you’re born again you’re doing like a Child, one leg in one leg out, receive fire in the name of Jesus. ChurchGist. Some of you come to COZA so that when you want to do your christening, your wedding you know you like the atmosphere, but you have one bush you go to, they still had your bath for you in water.
I heard the testimony of a brother, they took them to have a bath for them in the stream and his life did not remain the same from that time until he came for a weeding service in this place and I mentioned his case, that was the end. ChurchGist. Every glory stealer, what they have stolen from you, let it come back in seven folds. You see all those places you go to cannot be compared with the walk with God. Daniel in the Old Testament, the 3 wise men that came to greet Jesus 700 years after Daniel, it was because of the influence of Daniel, those guys were not Christians yet they came because Daniel has spoken about Jesus, they saw it, they came and honoured him, your influence will go from coast to coast.
I heard another testimony in our leadership dinner, a Muslim gave him money to build a house and told him; I know you will still remove your tithe o, so I am adding this so that after you have removed your tithe it will not affect the capital. ChurchGist. Somebody shout influence, I almost entered inside my chair when I heard it. Psalms 16:8, see at this 12 Days of Glory maybe tonight God is speaking to your heart that does not mean your mind will not wander, the Bible says Word of God is the anchor to our soul. You cannot keep living your old life and you’re claiming that you’re a Christian, the Glory of the latter must surpass the former. ChurchGist. A dog can be chasing you and you can stylishly walk but when a Lion chases you; you run like anything. Where some of us are coming from we cannot be normal. My prayers cannot be normal, where some of us are coming from, we are just wearing suit o, don’t be pretending like as if nothing is happening. Pray in tongues somebody.
