EVERYBODY WHO IS SERVING GOD IS ANOINTED TO KEEP SERVING HIM; AND THE MORE YOU SERVE HIM, THE MORE ANOINTED YOU BECOME, AND YOU KEEP SERVING HIM MORE AND MORE
PEOPLE JUST WALK TO CHURCH AND THEY ARE NOT ANTICIPATING ANYTHING FROM GOD
IMAGINE THAT EVERY CHURCH MEMBER PRAYS FOR THEIR CHURCH SERVICES BEFORE THE SERVICES TAKE PLACE?
IMAGINE THE FIRE THAT WILL BE FALLING FROM THE ALTAR!
PRAYER IS AN OPEN PLATFORM; IT COVERS ALL AGES. UNTIL A MAN STOPS EATING HE HAS THE RIGHT TO KEEP PRAYING
STOP PRAYING NONSENSE PRAYER; IT WON’T WORK! DON’T PRAY FOR POSITION; YOU SERVE YOUR WAY INTO CHANGE OF POSITION.

Morning Session Day Three;
The Sword of the Spirit Ministries (Part C)
“We have left all to serve your purpose.” “There is none who has left all for my sake who shall not receive hundred folds of it in this time and in the world to come, life everlasting, (Matthew 19:27-29), and at the end, life everlasting.” Church Gist. So it has a 2 way blessings: Life in the now and the gorgeous life hereafter.
- No one here shall miss it!
I think the problem is that people have thought that only pastors, only Evangelists, and all that, are servants of God. No, we’ve lost so much ground to the enemy by thinking that.
Let’s go through some lines here:
- You don’t have to be an apostle to serve God: Abraham was a business emperor; was an acclaimed servant of God. Psalms 105:42. Church Gist. Abraham His servant. And he demonstrated that beyond measure: (Romans 6:16) ‘Arise get out of thy country’ – and so Abraham departed. ‘Circumcise all the male born in your family’ – he began immediately. ‘Bring forth your only begotten son Isaac’ – He responded. Church Gist. He was a raw servant of God. Genesis 24:1. You don’t have to be an apostle to be a servant of God.
- You don’t have to be a prophet to be a servant of God: And Job was a renowned business leader, the greatest man in all the East. “Have you considered my servant Job?” God was testifying of Job as a servant. He wasn’t a prophet. Church Gist. It is simply a choice people make no matter their vocation, profession, or career in life. A choice to serve God distinguishes people anywhere. Malachi 3:17. Anybody serving God is ordained to be distinguished in his endeavours.
Michael Faraday was a lab attendant; a man that loved God so much. He was also a preacher in his Church. Whatever time he got to any city according to the biography, he will ask, ‘Where is the Church here please?” he was a Church addict. Church Gist. From a lab attendant became a world renowned scientist. He (God) will distinguish anybody that is sold out to serving Him anywhere. It’s time to come awake and take our destiny in our hand. The good news is, an army of giants will rise in the body of Christ, the kind the world has never known!
And what a joy that our country is privileged to be where we are today in the Gospel. That provides for you and me, unlimited opportunities to secure our place in this move. Don’t get out of this convention to go and sit down again as usual. You must become a value adding member of that Church. Church Gist. You must become a value adding pastor. We must all endeavour to occupy fully, acceptably, productively, fruitfully, till He comes. And watch how God will keep manifesting Himself in our various areas. We are in our best season and we shall not sell off in the name of Jesus.
- You don’t have to be a pastor to serve God. David the King of Israel was a servant of God. Psalms 89:20-24. So, not only us who are standing on the pulpit are anointed. There are many anointed members of the Churches. Church Gist. Everybody who is serving God is anointed to keep serving Him; and the more you serve Him, the more anointed you become, and you keep serving Him more and more.
- Somebody’s story is changing!
- You don’t have to be an evangelist to serve God: Daniel the prime minister of Babylon was a renowned servant of God. Daniel 6:20-22. Church Gist. He wasn’t a hiding servant, he was a public, open servant of God. He was a clean servant of God yet, he was in public service.
- You don’t have to be a preacher to serve God: Matthew 6:9-10; Matthew 6:4. Anybody who can eat can pray. Imagine that every Church member prays for their Church services before the services take place; a day before, 2 days before, 3 days before? Imagine the fire that will be falling from the altar! Church Gist. People just walk to Church and wonder what am I really here for? You know, “what’s my problem really?” (they say). They are not anticipating anything from God. Maybe there is no spiritual connectivity.
Anna was a widow of 84 years. Luke 2:37. Prayer is an open platform; it covers all ages. Church Gist. Until a man stops eating he has the right to keep praying. It is a risk to stand idle at this time.
Like we all know, prizes are only awarded at the end of the race not at the beginning, not in the middle, therefore, be ye steadfast, always abounding in the work of the Lord for as much as ye know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58). Matthew 10:22
My friend was sharing with me; he said he saw me I was so tiny 1985. I said you were so big that time. My God! I will show that video in Church and show them how big you were and how tiny I was. Just connect and keep going. The only way forward is to keep going. Church Gist. You can’t sit down to go forward; you take steps to go forward. You can’t sit down to experience a change of position; you take steps to experience a change of position. Wake up and get started. Only beginners become finishers. It’s high time we began to work the works of our father. It will keep enhancing our worth as individuals.
- You never be found at the same spot again in your life!
The Pastor may not see you, your leader may not see you, but God who sees your input in secret, He has vowed to reward you openly. - I pray that your season of open reward has finally come!
Mary the mother of James and John was lobbying Jesus for position for her 2 sons. And Jesus said you don’t know what you are asking. Church Gist. They don’t pray for position; you serve your way into change of position. Stop praying nonsense prayer; it won’t work. Keep serving; it is in service that you are changed from one level to another. You don’t stop going to work and be praying for God to promote you; they will sack you! Church Gist. You stay on duty productively and they begin to assess and appraise your output. And that is what determines whether you are promoted or not.
Many Christians have hung their gloves. They are just praying, “O God, change my position; see the one I led to Christ the other time; see where he is now.” Church Gist. Stop that! It will never result to a change of position!
Jesus told her, “You don’t know what you are asking. Can you drink of the cup that I drink?” And the 2 boys said, “Yes, we can.” Jesus said okay, go ahead. Church Gist. They connived together: 2 sons and mother. They came to waylay Jesus. They made sure the other 10 were not there. Jesus said, “no no, that’s not the way out.”
- My prayer this morning is that, each one will awake from his slumber!
A state of slumber is a risk. No matter how an expert a driver you are, you sleep off on the steering, you have entered the chariot to Heaven. Church Gist. No! A sleeping state is a deadly state. Ephesians 5:14. It is time to come awake from our slumber. Serving God is the only way forward in the kingdom.
Today we have people that have gathered here from various nations; nobody knew where we were 40 years ago. “I learnt those boys are doing some meetings.” “What meetings are they doing? Church Gist. Who taught them how to preach? What are they preaching? Did they go to theological school?” There was no colour; no shape, no form, no comeliness. Keep at it! Stay awake and keep at it!
There was a man by name, David. At the time Kings went to war, he stayed back at home. He was enjoying his new kingdom. And then, he met his waterloo. David before then was praying 3 times a day, and praising God 7 times. Church Gist. But we are told he awoke from his sleep in the evening; he didn’t pray that day, he didn’t do anything. And then, he caught sight of Bathsheba and you know the remaining part of the story. A state of slumber is a state of risk.
Delilah made Samson to sleep on her laps and she scrapped his head. And the one man warrior of Israel became a toy in the hand of his enemies. Ephesians 5:14.
The disciples were sleeping, Christ was praying. Jesus said, ‘pray that you fall not into temptation.” Peter said, “I don’t need that; I have my sword here.” Church Gist. He fell flat by a little girl. Matthew 26:69. That’s how deadly a sleeping state can be. Stay awake! It’s your turn for a change of position.
Also very importantly, a state of doing nothing is a risk and it causes spiritual decadence; before you know it, you are smelling. Ecclesiastes 10:18. Church Gist. Decadence sets in when you are not engaging. We start losing colour, beauty, value.
- You shall not lose colour!
Proverbs 14:23. But we understand that spiritual stewardship is far more rewardable than any other kind of stewardship.
WHAT IS SPIRITUAL STEWARDSHIP?
John 4:32-34. Jesus had earlier sent his disciples to go ahead and buy food for them. And by the time they came back, they found him actively engaging with the woman at the well. They said may be somebody has brought him food. Church Gist. Jesus responded, “I have some meat to eat that you know not of. My meat is to do the will of him that sent me and to finish his works.” What was He doing? He was leading that woman into the kingdom – that’s my meat; my core assignment. John 4:35.
Soul winning is a core spiritual stewardship. John 15:1-2, 8, 16, saying the same thing: soul winning is the core essence of our redemption. John 3:16. Our best is required in advancing the kingdom of God by bringing more people to the kingdom. Church Gist. Paul the Apostle said, 2 Corinthians 5:17-18. Every child of God is called to be a soul winner. Please go ahead and put this to work. You won’t find full meaning except you understand what that means. You may not be matured to preach, but you can invite anybody to meet Christ. “Come over to our service next Sunday, Jesus is meeting the needs of people.” And he gets in there, he gets saved. Just anybody! Luke 14:17-23. Church Gist. Call anybody you can find; everybody has equal value in my sight. That’s what God is saying. So you are either preaching to bring them to Christ, or inviting them to a meeting to meet with Christ.
