-I decree, this month shall be your best month! In the month of October, as I celebrate you will celebrate. I speak as a Prophet and I decree that whatever God will do in my life this month, may He do greater in your life. Church Gist. Saul found himself in the midst of the Prophets and he began to prophesy, I decree from my heart that in this month of October, nothing will stop your celebration in the name of Jesus. Whatever you want in life that is in line with God’s Word before 21st of this month, you will have delivery of it. As I open my mouth to say it and you say: ‘Amen’, it is yours in the name of Jesus!
How many of you know that Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday is fasting? We are fasting in the whole of Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and then we have Week Of Spiritual Empowerment, we do it once every month. Don’t forget, Tuesday is Church at home and Wednesday, Thursday is Church in the Temple. Church Gist. The message this morning is: ‘DEDICATION, SECRET TO FRUITFUL CHRISTIANITY’. Life is a seed! When it is used for what it was created, it will yield fruits. God, throughout Scriptures referred to men as seed: ‘The seed of Abraham, the seed of This’. John 12:24. When your life is sown as a seed, then your destiny begins to flourish, you will begin to bear fruits.
-I see you bear fruits in the name of Jesus!
Life on earth is of no meaning if you are not living it for Christ. Until you have an understanding of why God created you and why you are a Christian, life can be an adventure without direction. Many have reduced Christianity to mean just material possessions. Church Gist. Many don’t know why they are children of God, all they ask for is: ‘Oh God! Give me butter. Oh God! Give me this’. They mean that the reason why they become born again is just to have material things. Yes, God wants to bless you but that should not be your primary reason for serving God.
Declarations: Stop living for things, start living for God! Church Gist. I will stop living for things, I will start living for God.
Please don’t reduce Christianity to possession of material things alone, allow things to be things and allow God to be God.
Declarations: I will make my life a seed to God.
Sowing your life to God and to His cause on the earth is the greatest. Church Gist. John 12:24. So it is dedication that makes Christianity to be fruitful. John 12:25-26.
-May God honour someone who says ‘Amen’.
Dedication is to be dead to self and alive to God. To be dead to self is to be dedicated. If you are not dedicated you will be frustrated and where dedication stops that’s where distinction stops. Where you place God in your heart will determine where God will place you on the earth. God must be Lord of all or not at all. Hear me people of God, dedication is a universal demand for the making of stars in the Kingdom of God. Church Gist. Every star in the Kingdom of God has dedication at his root. It is impossible to emerge a star in the Kingdom of God without embracing the law of dedication. To be dedicated to God is to give off something for the Kingdom of God’s sake, it is to surrender totally to God. It is to deny yourself of earthly pleasures for the sake of Heavenly gain, it is to be dead to self and alive to God; it is the secret behind fruitful Christianity.
Hear this and hear me well, consistency is the beauty of Christianity. The problem with people is inconsistency, they are not consistent with God. One leg today they are in Church, the next day they are not in Church. One day they have problem they are looking for God, the next day they are not looking for God. Church Gist. Dedication is not a once and for all lifestyle but once and again lifestyle. Now, you know why you will be dedicated. That you have been dedicated for forty years is not enough, ‘Oh! I have been serving God since I was SU is not enough! I’ve been going to Church since my small child is not enough’. There was a young man called Uzziah in 2 Chronicles 26, this young man at the age of 16 was appointed king over Israel. Uzziah reigned for 52 years yet he missed it, he was 16 when he began to rule. He ruled for 52 years! One day it got into his head and he went to the altar to misbehave, he died a leper.
-No one will die a leper.
That you have been in the Lord for 70 years does not guarantee that you will make Heaven. He says: ‘He that endures to the end’ not ‘he that starts’. Matthew 24:13. Church Gist. In a race, they don’t give medal to a man who is even one step to the tape, they will not give you if you fall. You must finish it, is that true? If this is the tape and you fall here, they will not give you medal, it is those who finish they give medals.
Declarations: I will finish well. Anything that will make me not to enter Heaven, Almighty God, take it off! Church Gist. Destroy it in my life! I must make Heaven in the name of Jesus!
That you are 60 years old, 70 years old, 80 years old does not mean you should stop serving God. Dedication is a lifetime adventure, it is living for God all your life. Psalms 92:13-15. Church Gist. That means if you are permanent with God, no dry season till your time on earth is over. How planted you are determines how you will flourish in the Kingdom of God.

Hear me, until your life becomes a seed, you will never be distinguished. We are going to study a man in the Bible who was a seed until his time on earth was over, he is called Abraham. Abraham did not stop till his life on earth was over so we are going to use him. He obeyed God at all levels. Abraham obeyed God, infact Abraham started serving God at the age of 75 years and continued till he passed on. He was committed in all areas of his life and we, the seeds of Abraham are to be dedicated to God like him. Is that true? John 8:39. He said: ‘If you are like Abraham then do like Abraham, Abraham served Me, anytime I talk to Abraham he obeyed me’. Church Gist. You cannot say Abraham’s blessings are mine if you are not ready to do what Abraham did. Abraham was sold out to God and we are going to look at the areas Abraham was sold out and then bring them to: ‘If ye be Abraham’s seed…’ Galatians 3:13:14. He said if you want to get the blessings of God through Jesus, you must do like who? Abraham. Look, the Almighty God! The only two Fathers in the Bible, after God the Father, there is another person God Himself calls Father: ‘Father Abraham’. The Bible refers to Abraham as ‘Father Abraham’! No other! After God the Almighty Father, the only person the whole Bible ever called ‘Father’ was Abraham. God looked at him and called him: ‘My friend’. God called Abraham His friend. How many of you will God call friends? God said: ‘My friend, Abraham’. Will God call you a friend? It is dedication that makes God to call people friends.
Some areas of dedication.
1. Praying for the Salvation of souls.
Abraham prayed for the Salvation of Sodom and Gomorrah. Genesis 18:22-33. He was praying and saying: ‘God, just show mercy’. In the Kingdom of God, nothing is more valuable to God than soul winning. Matthew 16:26b. So the value of a soul is more than the entire wealth of the world, the entire wealth of the world put together is not equal to the value of a soul in the sight of God. God will bless anyone who is practically involved in soul winning and establishment, he will bless you with things that money can’t buy. Church Gist. Yesterday, this Church went out for soul winning, we went to our neighbourhood. I go for soul winning constantly but yesterday I told them, I said: ‘Let’s not go too far, let’s go to our neighbourhood’. For 26 years we have stayed in Port-Harcourt since this Church started, I’ve never gone to our neighbourhood the way I went yesterday, yesterday was the first time. I said: ‘ I don’t mean car oo, we were talking from door to door’ and I felt good talking to people to be born again. You don’t know there are many who have never heard of Christ around you, you think everybody has heard of Jesus? No! Many have not heard.
John 15:16. Now listen, you just read it! My friend, if somebody employs you, are you the one to give that person directive or he will give you directive? He will give you directive? Read your Bible, when you read your Bible you will understand. ‘I no get time’, you are insulting God. He said: You have not chosen Me, I’m the one who employed you, I ordained you’. I said: ‘This is my assignment to you’. So the moment you say: ‘I don’t have time’, it’s a sign of arrogance. Church Gist. John 15:16. E just be like a person you employed, coming to tell you: ‘Oga, I no go work oo, I’m not going to work’. What will you do? Some of you it’s mercy oo, God would have sacked you since, you are so arrogant – ‘I don’t have time na me and that my work’. God says: ‘Hey! I employed you oo’, that’s why some people, they die quick because they don’t have time, everything, they don’t have time’. God will say: ‘I employed you oo if you no get time, I go time you’.
-May God not give you time.
John 15:16. God is giving you the condition that you should go and bring forth fruit. This is God speaking not John. He said this is the condition, ‘Go and win souls’. ‘Fruit’ is not mango, He is talking about souls, He said this is my purpose for you. So when you win souls, you open your mouth wide. In the First Service, I demonstrated practical things. I said those who pray for the Kingdom and soul winning, they don’t struggle to pray for things to happen. And I used two people for illustration, two people who had pain. I first prayed for me, I said: ‘God! Give me money’!! I prayed for the man and said: ‘Watch, he will not get healed’ and the man did not get healed. Church Gist. And I prayed the other way, I didn’t even shout, the man got healed. You know why most of your prayers are too long? All your prayers are: ‘Oh God!! I need aircraft! Glory to God! Lamborghini’! Lamborghini and ‘lamboo-gini’. You can buy Lamborghini or you can buy ‘lamboo-gini’, anyone you like you buy! You say: ‘Lord! From Lamborghini I need a Rolls Royce, ‘Rolls with a Royce’, I need a Rolls Royce, glory to God’! Lord! I need a Falcon Jet!!! No, I need a duplex, the duplex must be hanging on the wall’ (Laughing). And God will say: ‘These are the things you are bothered about’, you will die asking requests. But there are people who don’t ask, yet God answers.
-May you enter that club!
Which one do you prefer? Before you open your mouth God has answered!
-You will enter that realm in the name of Jesus!
John 4:35-36. Hear what God said, He said don’t say: ‘Tomorrow!! Stop procrastinating! Stop saying I will do it tomorrow!! Don’t say so, do it now. Stop procrastinating, stop saying next week I will do it! This one people are talking, ‘I will do it next week’! Church Gist. No, do it now. John 4:36. He will put you on a payroll that government can’t pay you. There is a dimension of prosperity where you don’t pray for things, God gives it to you because you are a soul winner.
-Somebody will enter this realm in the name of Jesus!
John 4:36. God said just go ahead and win souls you will be surprised I will make things happen. Are you hearing what God is saying?
– You will enter that realm I repeat!
Abraham prayed for them (People of Sodom and Gomorrah), he said: ‘God show mercy on these people, their lives are more important’. Some of you are never bothered, even your immediate neighborhood they are not born again and you are not bothered. Your brothers, not born again; your sisters, not born again; your relations, not born again; your colleagues, not born again, you are in the office doing what? Why are you there? God kept you there to affect humanity! You are in school, all you are after is: ‘Oh God! Give me’!! Your prayer requests, everything, ‘Give me’!! God is saying: ‘You too, what do you have to give my Kingdom’? ‘God give me pikin, God give me husband, God give me wife, God give me money, God give me house. God give me…’ God says: ‘You too give me souls’. What you make happen for God, God will make happen for you! I’ve not prayed for money from 1997, are you hearing me now? You know the reason? I go for Kingdom. But some of you, since you became born again you have not won one soul, not one soul have you won! In fact, the reason why you came to today’s Church is so that they can prophesy to you for 1st October (Laughing). We will prophesy oo but that should not be your primary focus for serving God. If you serve God only for bread and butter you will not last in the Kingdom, I can tell you, you will backslide very soon because when the bread and butter does not come immediately you will backslide. But those of us who are serving Him for who He is, we are not after it, it will come when it will come. He said: ‘No good thing will He withhold from them that work upright…’ So you cannot be a seeker of God and sink on the earth. Matthew 6:33. Nobody buys phone and pray for battery, it’s an accessory. The things you are praying for is the accessory, just put the Kingdom of God first.
2. Giving for the promotion of the Kingdom.
We are using Abraham is that true? Abraham gave to the point that he gave his son, Isaac as a sacrifice. Genesis 22:1-18. God says: ‘Swear not’! Is it in your Bible? Now, God saw that He can’t swear to anyone. You know? We, when we want to swear, we say, ‘True to God’! Is that not what we say? Now, God has nobody to swear to because He is God, He said: ‘By Myself have I sworn’! God who said: ‘Swear not’! He swore! There is a way you touch God with your money eh, God will swear! I saw in the Bible, all the places God changed is in giving! God is no respecter yet He said: ‘God had respect unto the offering of Abel’! (Laughing). Read your Bible in Genesis 4:4, God had respect unto the offering of Abel, is it not in your Bible? But He is no respecter of… He said, ‘Swear not’! But God swore by Himself when it came to offering, look at it na? Genesis 4:4. Church Gist. Are you holier than God? Offering makes God to respect you! God said: ‘Swear not’ but when He came to Abraham, what did He do? He swore! God never swore for prayer. Prayer warrior, there was nowhere God swore and said: ‘This your prayer, I swear for you’! I was studying few minutes just this morning and I got deep insight. Do you know every man who is a giver does not lack revelation? Read your Bible! As King David was, he never lacked revelation, he was a giver. God showed Solomon revelations, He showed Abraham revelations, check Paul, Paul was a dangerous giver, they don’t lack revelation. Stingy people don’t have insight of the Bible, I stay on the altar like this and God will speak to me true? Be stingy, you no go hear God! (Laughing). Stinginess makes you spiritually deaf, God can’t speak to a stingy man because he knows you will be stingy. Check the Bible all the men who had deep insight, they were all givers. The moment Peter gave His boat God spoke to Him, true? Eh? Okay! Stay there with your money!
Genesis 22:16.
-May God swear concerning you.
When Abraham dropped Isaac, God said: ‘By Myself have I sworn’. God said: ‘I swear by Myself, in blessing, I will bless thee…’ Genesis 22:17. Church Gist. Till today, the seed of Abraham, the biological seed which is Israel, they are so blessed. To be poor in the Kingdom is anathema if you are Abraham’s seed.
-May you follow God! As you obey Him, the world will be blessed through you.
God turned Abraham to a transgenerational blessing.
-You will enter there!
Dedicated believers don’t attach any importance to material things. When it comes to God, they can give anything to God. I am not blowing my trumpet, I stand before God. My wife, one day came to me; life story! And said: ‘My husband, the way you give, hope you won’t give me as an offering’? There’s nothing! If God speaks to me today, ‘Give everything you have’, I won’t consult no mortal man, I will give. Church Gist. I’d never attached my importance to material things! I’ve done it over and over not once, not twice, not thrice where God will tell me: ‘Give everything’, I will just give everything, leave the last balance so that the account will not go red, not once! And I’ve never given where God did not give me back because when you give, God must give you back! But it takes somebody who loves God to do that, is that true? Okay! You say: ‘Em dey make noise’! Do wetin I don do before – Give God one million dollars when you never had a house (Laughing), in 2012! You will hear, if you like dey vex no be you!
In 2012, I gave one million dollars without having a block, today it is one point something billion naira of your naira; in one Sunday as a Pastor. I think it’s one thousand two hundred. Now, in today’s currency, I came to Church one Sunday, 2012! Not even my wife did I discuss it with, I emptied my account and I gave all! In today’s currency it is one billion naira! In one Sunday! There was nobody I told, I didn’t tell my own wife that I am giving offering. Not the way you want to give, you say: ‘My wife, this one I wan give, how you feel na? (Laughing). Before, how she go feel? You think say she go happy? Church Gist. Even if na your own wife e no go come say: ‘My husband come oo, you know say we go chop food oo’. When you want to give you consult nobody, if Abraham had consulted Isaac, he wouldn’t have given that offering. Sarah will call him: ‘Abraham! Come!! I go wait for pikin till now, twenty-something years you wan give this boy, carry two of us’!! (Laughing). But Abraham understood God that God cannot take anything without replenishing it back, he said: ‘Isaac, let’s go’! Now, anything you lack is something you have not given, givers never lack!
How can you say you dedicate yourself and then you cannot dedicate your money? He said: ‘You cannot serve God and mammon’. The only thing that competes with God is money, any dedicated man must dedicate his money. Anybody finding it difficult to give to God, you have not dedicated your life truly because if you can dedicate your life why will money be an issue? You can’t say you are dedicated if you are struggling to give your money so you can dedicate your life and then you cannot give your money. Are you sure? One day I was talking to a husband long ago when this Church was not… And the man was complaining of the wife not sleeping with him, talk she no gree. I said: ‘Sit down madam’, she refused to give him money, sorry! Church Gist. You know some women are like that, they tie their money to themselves, some women are like that! My wife knows the story, so I now told her and said: ‘Listen! If you can give your body to your husband, you hold your money, you are a prostitute then! I said you can give your own body to the man, that means you value the money more than your body. I said: ‘If you can allow the man who you said is a drunk to sleep with you, you come hold your money na em mean say the money is of more value than your body, then what makes you different? You are a prostitute then! My friend, give your money to your husband’, she said: ‘Eh’? I said: ‘Yes’! If you can give your body to him then give your money to him.
Some of us are so stingy, ‘How I go come give God this kind money? For what? Even when you want to give offering, you do like this? (Look well). I think one thousand now na which colour? Nigerian money is very confusing now, what colour is that? Blue! I think it’s blue, yellow or blue? (Laughing). I avoid counting money because old notes and new notes, they are together so when they come, I will say… There is one that confuses me a lot, one green one (Laughing), I don’t know which colour, whether it is… but it looks like the former two hundred, so that one when they bring it I say: ‘O boy! Church Gist. Don’t put this money oo e dey confuse me, they know it’s five hundred, sometimes you see it like two hundred, sometimes you see it like dollar, you weigh it from afar (Laughing). So when some people are going to give offering, they do like this: (Look closely into their pockets). When they see one thousand, ‘For what? Touch not my money and don’t do my account any harm’. And when they see the one wey be hundred naira, they say: ‘Praise the Lord! Hallelujah!’! (Laughing). Then God will say: ‘Look at you!! So you value money pass me’? My friend, let God be… And if you are truly dedicated the money will mean nothing to you because you are using it to serve Him. And let me tell you this, there is nothing you give to God that God will not multiply back to you. Are you getting me? That’s why Abraham could use everything including his son to serve God.
Declarations: I will use everything to serve God. Money won’t stop me!
If you can use everything to serve God… Listen, our problem is, many of us serve God in prayer, we serve God in everything, we can go for evangelism but when it comes to money, for where? Many people oo, they will go for evangelism, they will go for prayer but when it comes to money they will say: ‘Lie, lie! Me use money to … hmmm’! Listen, the first place to die as a true Christian is money. If you don’t die to money you will worship it! Church Gist. I can tell you, many people have backslidden because of money. If you are not dead to money, you will soon worship money. Money is looking for who to worship it, either you worship God with your money or you worship money. Either you use your gold to worship God or you worship the god of gold. When Israel did not use their money to worship God, they began to worship the idol. Either you use your gold (money) to worship Him or you end up worshipping your gold, make your choice!
I’m not blowing my trumpet I’ve told you, if you think it’s easy, in the world today who will do what I’ve done? When I get to Heaven in old age, I will give David a high five and say: ‘David you tried but I beat you. I said you had a house before you built Church, before you gave that big offering, you already had a house. I didn’t have a house so I beat you’. David will say: ‘Yes! David, New Testament! You beat me’! Church Gist. Solomon own, I no know whether em dey Heaven but if he is in Heaven, if I see him in Heaven, I’ll say: ‘Solomon, you know I beat you’, but David is the one I’m very sure of. When I meet David I’ll give him a high five and say: ‘Dave…’ In Heaven I will see David, do you know we will know ourselves in Heaven? We will know ourselves, I will see you too when we get to Heaven, yes! You don’t know we will know ourselves? We will see ourselves and say: ‘O boy! You dey here’? (Laughing).
Declarations: I won’t miss Heaven!
Finally, Abraham was dedicated in praising God despite the contradictory circumstance, he was dedicated in praising God. He was strong in faith, giving glory to God. Romans 4:20. Your praise is what will water the ground for God to bless you with abundance. Proverbs 12:14. Proverbs 13:2. Psalms 67:5-7. Numbers 10:10. Psalms 81:1-5.
You know? Our praise for the beginning of the month is to open the doors and God will bless every one of us. Are you ready for that?

-That name you gave to the month will stand! That which you have opened your mouth to declare, you will see it! Church Gist. Everything Adam named, till today, even after he failed God did not change them. What you have called the month to be to you, that’s what it will be in Jesus’ mighty name.
As a lifestyle, every beginning of the month we normally praise God even if it’s at home, do it! We did this one today because it fell on Sunday but if you’re at home, every first, wake up in the midnight and declare the month open. Never start a month, in any month, without declaring that month open. Are you hearing me now? If the month is declared open, the events will be the way you said it. I didn’t sleep, I had to declare the month open for the Church and for myself and my family. Are you hearing what I’m saying now? Consciously! This one is for everybody but I made sure that at 12:00, I did that. Are you hearing what I’m saying now? Praise the Lord!
