Every change of story is stirred by an encounter with the Word. Every time God speaks to us, He creates what He says. One of us, I was told yesterday, caught a word while he was planning to move out of the country in 2002 that there is no devalued currency in the world, just enough. There is no amount of dollar you cannot buy with naira. Just have a lot of naira. There is no amount of CFA you cannot buy in dollars, just have enough CFAs. There is no amount of pounds you cannot buy with cedis, just have enough of it. He banked the truth and now he flows in fortune. That is how God’s Word changes people’s stories. Church Gist. In the precious name of Jesus, this month shall be to each one of us a month of months because the Word that will open a new chapter to your life will come forth. As your faith catches up with it, you have committed God to make it happen. Whatever God can do, faith can make happen. Who could have imagined that Sarah would give birth to a child? But God has made me to laugh. So every time you hold on to what God says, He makes you to laugh. Isaac came.
– It shall be your year of laughter.
– Your forgotten Isaac will come.
Never applied for a job, just obeyed God and then they call you to come and take your employment letter. I didn’t apply, they say it doesn’t matter. Please, we are in a school. The word ‘disciples’ means students. We are all in a school. Church Gist. There is no professor here, we are all students and studentship mean you must pass the exam. The faith test is a regular test for all levels of students. PG, Undergrad, Post Doc, etc. Forever! “It came to pass after these things that God did test Abraham.” So it is an ongoing test.
So what we are dealing with this month is a life wire. It is the life wire of everybody. “Many were obedient to the faith.” Faith is the substance of Christianity. Church Gist. When you fail the faith test, you have failed all. It doesn’t work. In the name of Jesus, it shall be a month of months for us.
ENGAGING THE POWER OF FAITH FOR FULFILMENT OF PROPHECIES.
Without faith, no prophecy will ever see the light of day. Faith is not a belief system, faith is standing on the Word believing in the integrity of God who authored the Word, believing in the integrity of the content of the Word and expecting to see it come to pass. So it is not a belief system. It is not reordering the way you think. Faith is a spiritual substance, you will know when it comes. Hebrews 11:1. Church Gist. Faith is not vague, faith is not fake. Faith is simply expecting God to do what He says He will do as you align with what He says to do. It gives substance to our expectations thereby turning them into manifestation. May this month be a school of faith indeed for every one of us.
1 Kings 8:15. No one can fulfil heaven’s agenda without the hand of God. How do we secure His hand? Isaiah 53:1. Faith is the only way to bring the hand of God to bear on any subject matter including prophecies. Church Gist. You can’t see prophecies fulfilled without the hand of God. The reason is simple, God speaks according to His capacity to deliver not according to our weakness.
What are prophecies? Simply, prophecies are the unveiling of God’s plan and purposes as it relates to a people or an individual. Prophecies speak to our present, our future, our posterity and our eternity. Deuteronomy 18:21-22. Everything God speaks comes to pass. All it requires is your faith to secure the hand of God that will bring it to pass. Church Gist. Remember the prophetic focus of the month, WHATEVER GOD CAN DO, FAITH CAN MAKE IT HAPPEN. Luke 1:45. Anything you hear from the Lord is secured for delivery, all it takes is faith to provoke the hand of God that shall bring it to pass. There shall be amazing change of stories this year. The kind you have never known before.
Scripturally, there are three main sources of prophecies. First, the Bible which is said to be the more sure word of prophecies. As mentioned in that epistle, the Bible is the most reliable prophetic resource bank. Everything God says in there when He addresses that to you, it is yours for the take. 2 Peter 1:19-21. Every word there is certified for delivery but requires faith to come to pass. No prophecy will ever see the light of day without faith. The receiving end requires faith to have it come to pass. Without faith, it is not on the way coming. Isaiah 34:16. Very interesting. So when you read something like John 15:16, God is saying as you commit to soul winning and soul abiding, you secure my favour. That is how He speaks to people from His Word. In the multitude of people is the king’s honour, God is simply saying “Thus saith the Lord, my honour is in the multitude of people and he that honours me, I will honour. Church Gist. So as you engage in bringing more people into the Kingdom, you secure my honour without sweat.” Daniel 12:3. Cure for shame and reproach. Matthew 6:33. Seek first my Kingdom in all righteousness and all these things others are dying to get shall be added on to you.
Every prophecy of scripture applies to whosoever believes. It is of no private interpretation. I said in the course of the week, there are no private revelations, no private faith, no private testimonies. Nothing about God and man is private. Everything written in the Word applies to whosoever believes. Faith is not cheap, faith is hard work. Faith responds to spiritual labour. Faith is no guesswork. If you get down to see my library, someday I will take pictures and put them on the screen. It is a walkthrough library, it is not a shelf. When you understand that faith is a profession, you better learn the skill. Holding fast the profession of your faith for faithful is He that has promised. Hebrews 10:23. What is profession? It is one thing to be an accountant, it is another one to be chartered, it is another one to be followed. You come out as a fresh accountant practising accountancy, you grow to be chartered and then you charter to be followed. It is labour.
You don’t build faith wishing, you build faith labouring in the Word. Count them of double honour, those who are elders among you particularly those who labour in Word and in doctrine. Word labour! No shortcut to building faith. Many have never read one book on faith in their life. You say you are believing God, how? Where is the anchor of your faith? Any faith not anchored on revelation of the Word is fake. The only secured anchor of faith is revelation. Church Gist. Any faith not anchored on the revelation of the Word is fake and cannot deliver. Hebrews 4:3-10. Faith launches people into rest. That is you have committed God by your obedience and so He takes over. Hebrews 4:11-12. So we labour in the Word to build faith that brings us into rest.
On the 30th of August 1980, I was reading the book ‘Seven Things You Should Know About Divine Healing.” The date is very historic because that was the Ogunpa flood day. I was in this revelation when the Ogunpa flood came and was announced on the television. Himself took my infirmities and bore my sicknesses. It came on the last page. So all these half reading that people are doing, it was the last statement. How do you know you are healed? Because Matthew 8:17 said Himself took my infirmities. It is not that you read two pages and close the page and say you have read. Church Gist. Okay, what have you found? Don’t say you have read when you have not found anything. I read all Yonggi Cho materials to pieces, I can see the results. What you don’t know, you don’t know. What you won’t learn, you can’t know and what you don’t know you suffer for it.
Faith comes by hearing and understanding the Word of God. Faith doesn’t come by prayer. You pray in the Holy Ghost to give you understanding of the Word that builds faith. Jude 1:20. Faith does not come by prayers. You can’t be chartered in accounting by prayer, you read. You pray in the Holy Ghost to help you understand the reading but He won’t read for you. Please wake up. We are all in a school and we are writing tests to change classes. If you don’t commit yourself to what is required, you can’t change class. It is your turn. Church Gist. The biblical proof of faith is rest. Any subject where you have not rested, your faith has not developed to secure the rest. Develop your faith to secure your rest in a world of anxieties, apprehension, despair, despondency. It is your turn.
Secondly, we access prophetic words through encounters with God like in the case of Abraham, Moses, Paul etc. God just showed up and delivered to you a task. Church Gist. Meaning to say, if you will believe I will do it through you. You can’t do it but if you believe I will do it through you.
Thirdly, through God’s sent prophets. God still sends prophets our way. He has sent me quite a number. I have enjoyed the blessings of God through their ministries. As they keep speaking to my life time and again. Luke 4:25-26. He hasn’t changed, He still sends prophets. Church Gist. Luke 4:27. He sends prophets, when you receive the sent prophet as a prophet, you access what they carry for you. This is what happens, the enemy paints a negative picture of your prophet, so you can disconnect from what he carries for you. Then you start struggling with life. God still sends prophets the way of His people that are sent to speak into their lives and move them forward. Matthew 10:41.
Whichever the source of prophecy, it takes faith to see prophecies fulfilled.
How powerful are prophecies? Prophecies are God’s sworn verdicts. Isaiah 14:24. They are sworn verdicts. I vow to do this by my integrity. Genesis 22:16-18, the blessing is still there. Sworn blessings are irrevocable. No force in hell can revoke it. How powerful are prophecies? God speaks according to what He can do and will do as we believe. Luke 1:34-35. “Be it done to me according to thy word” was all she said and God came through. Church Gist. He speaks according to what He can do. We saw Jesus come alive without Mary knowing any man. Luke 1:38. When you respond to a prophetic word with faith, you have committed God to make it happen. God speaks according to what He can do and will do as we believe.
How does faith facilitate the fulfilment of prophecies? Faith strengthens believers to see prophecies fulfilled. Hebrews 11:11. Genesis 21:1-2. Church Gist. The year 2024 is a set time for every Winner to be launched supernaturally into realms of fortune that will mark the end of struggles.
– Misfortune shall be out of the way, it will not be found around you at all.
Nothing strengthens like faith in the midst of battle. Hebrews 11:34. Nothing strengthens for the battle like faith. Faith never cowers in the midst of battle. Church Gist. Strong faith always conquers, subdues and suppresses all storms at will. It is time to move forward. It is time to take covenant responsibility in building our faith.
To see prophecies fulfilled, we must receive the prophetic word in our minds. The man that caused himself calamity in 2 Kings 7:1-2, his mind could not receive that prophetic word. It was too much for his mind. As believers, we believe in the integrity of God and His Word. So we allow His Word to influence our thinking patterns. If God said so, God will do it. Romans 12:2. Church Gist. The Word renews our mind and we begin to operate at another frequency beyond the mind of the world. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5. It is the real battle for our mind to be able to lay hold of the Word and despise every other source of information.
No matter how terrible the economy of a nation, every practising covenant child is ordained to be exempted without a scratch. Every practising covenant businessman is ordained to be exempted without any human hand. There was famine in Egypt, everything went sour but Israel dwelt there. They went forward, they grew and multiplied exceedingly in the midst of the famine. People were offering themselves to be sold. Genesis 47:15-27. Clean exemption! The good news is that as you stay connected to God, you won’t feel the heat of the day. Your family and business will not feel the heat of the day as you stay genuinely connected. This Church has never felt any economic pinch since inception. Not by power, not by might, 43 years have come and gone, we are still flowing in affluence. Church Gist. All kinds of economic programmes, adjustment programmes, review programmes. Walk with God, He relates with us according to His riches in glory where the dust and the moth cannot reach. Somebody’s story is changing. It is your turn at last.
Let your faith come alive, it is your covenant lifewire. It is the only way to secure God’s hand on my life and your life. We must believe the prophetic word in our hearts. Remember faith is domiciled in the heart. Romans 10:10, Matthew 11:23-24. Hebrews 4:2. Next, we must work out of part to see prophecies fulfilled. There is always a part for us to play. If you get through the prophetic focus for the month, you find the part we must play to flow in the prophetic word that He has declared. Church Gist. There shall be shouts of joy as long as we favour His righteous course. Kingdom promotion lifestyle, Kingdom advancement driven lifestyle. We step into the realm of fearful favour which we call fortune as we begin to take pleasure, no coercion, no pressurizing, in the things of the Kingdom. He said work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Don’t wait, work it out. There is always a part to play.
All we need is to build strength into our faith in these heavily stormy days. Little faith can’t stand the storms of life. Matthew 8:23. It is time to take responsibility to build strength into our faith. If you faint in the day of trouble, your strength is small. Proverbs 24:10. We need faith to stand the storms of life. It won’t come upon us, we have to go for it. 2 Timothy 4:13. If you check these two materials that just came out, Treasures of Life Volume 1 and 2 are direct from my diary. Handwritten. We just completed a special MIS forum and I was showing them those diaries from 1991, 1992. That is lion’s bread. You better settle down. Can I tell you my value for knowledge? Years ago, I came back from a trip and my wife asked me “What did you bring?” I said she should and see. I took her to my library. We have always maintained a library in our house. Church Gist. Nobody can sleep there. We better sleep on top of each other somewhere else but not in that room. I opened the first box – books, the second one – books, the third one – books, she asked what else? I said that is all else. I said if I can comprehend the contents of these books, it will make me a manufacturer of the things I should have bought. Is it not real? You better go for knowledge. Psalm 45:4. Let’s go for those deep things. Learn from those who know. There are many who know better than I do, so I learn from them. Except for preparing for meetings, I hardly read my books. There are those who teach me. Settle down!
If you know a little of what I am privileged to know by learning not by wishing, things will change. One of my sons shut off for seven days with Breaking Financial Hardship, he is walking in fortune today. Some have it, they have even bought it for people but they have not read it. They are distributing it all over the place. I went for three days and it silenced the noise of lack forever. Two books and my Bible, The Laws of Prosperity by Kenneth Copeland, God’s Will Is Prosperity by Gloria Copeland and my Bible. In prayer and in searching and in fasting. It is labour. Imagine I didn’t do that and I am doing like other people around the world going from house to house? In fact, you won’t be here. Church Gist. After I come to your house how many times, you will look for somewhere else to go. Aren’t you glad I have never branched in anybody’s house? In all my years in ministry, that can you please assist? No man has heard me discuss a need. My needs are met by light. You can be the one publishing the books and printing it and nothing will happen because it doesn’t come on you by printing. It comes on you by learning. All the ones I knew that I walked with, they were learners till their end like T.L. Osborn, Kenneth Hagin, they were heavy learners to their end. Last time, I was in Kenneth Hagin’s office he was reading How Faith Works by T.L. Osborn. He is reading how faith works. Not that he is editing it, he is reading it to grab things from it. Somebody is sitting down now, he has not read one thing in his life and he wants things to happen. Some are having crises in their homes and they have never read one book on family life. I read 8 books before I got married. People just rush into things without knowing what it is.
Somebody said the reason why this Church is growing is because we buried cows. Okay! Go and bury cow. It is a brand new day for you. Church Gist. The good news is this year will be the beginning of years for you. That is in all areas for you.
Bible faith is real. Bible faith is tangible. Bible faith never lacks proofs. I must commit to building my faith through learning and those who know. Anything I say to you in this Church and you can’t find it rooted in the Bible, trash it. There is no revelation that will contradict the Bible. No revelation will run contrary to the Bible and deliver. It is all open to us. Church Gist. You can’t walk in the kind of faith that I walk in and not command the kind of results that I command. I walked in the steps of Copeland and commanded the same thing by grace. You get to a point where there is nothing God says that will be difficult for you to believe. You are connected with light from the Word and those who have proved it from the Word so it establishes your faith. As the Lord lives, your days of struggles are declared over.
2 Corinthians 2:14. Light is sweet. The savour of His knowledge in every place. It is only by light that we rule the world of darkness. When light comes, faith comes along. Church Gist. Nobody doubts what he can see. Revelation is the birthplace of faith. That is the labour room of faith. We are reading and studying to come into revelation so that faith can come alive.
It took God six days to build the world, He won’t need two months to build this house. Light! Then all barriers just crumbled. It is very important to know that faith is a weapon exclusive to the redeemed. 1 John 5:4. It is so important to understand that because until you are born again, you cannot see what God is saying in His Word, so you cannot believe it. 1 Corinthians 3:14. Until one is born again, faith hardly works. Church Gist. Mercy can drop from time to time but that faith generated results are purely for the redeemed. 1 John 5:4. The faith that overcomes is the faith that is engaged by the redeemed. Until you are born again, it doesn’t work.
Our obedience is absolutely to our benefit. Totally, 100 per cent to our benefit. You obey or disobey God, He is God. You cast aspersion on Him, He is God. He can’t be bigger, He can’t be smaller, He is the same yesterday, today and forever. Our obedience is absolutely to our benefit. I have this piece, A Call To Every Winner To Awake From Slumber. No prophet is responsible for any prophetic word to come to pass in our lives. God is not responsible for whatever prophecy of scriptures that doesn’t come to pass in your life and my life. He is not, we are. It is the faith of individuals that determines which prophetic word comes to pass in their lives. Church Gist. Every prophetic word is at the mercy of the faith of the individuals for delivery. Even the prophet himself will not see prophetic words come to pass without him or her believing it. You can say it, it doesn’t mean it will come to pass. You have to do what He says. He is no respecter of persons. That is why not all prophets see prophetic words come to pass in their lives. He is no respecter of persons. So awake! Build your faith. Get your faith to come alive.

If you believe the prophetic word concerning your fortune package for 2024, you will line up with the demands. Nobody will beg you to, if you believe it you will. I received and believed the covenant of prosperity and I didn’t need any advice, I plugged into it and it is working. I received Matthew 6:33 in 1976, I plugged into it and it is still working and I remain plugged till Jesus comes. Church Gist. What we are empowered to experience is a product of what we receive and believe. We can’t experience what we don’t believe. So expect something unusual this year as you build your faith.
If you have a guaranteed return of miracle children for one soul within one week, will you engage or not? You have been looking for this for twenty years and He says bring me one soul within one week and you believe He said so. Won’t you engage? If you have a gift of a house for two souls this month, will you engage or not? Full scale. You will ask is it only two I should bring? That is how people believe in the words of men than they believe in God. If it is a man who promised you, the man may not be in existence again tomorrow. So the gift is gone. Church Gist. This is the eternal God, He says this is what I will do if you believe. You say you believe, then do what He says you should do then you commit Him to it. Between now and the first half of this year, as the Lord lives, everyone who chooses to engage with God in His enlargement agenda will see the hand of God in all areas of their life.
May I please advise every one of us to take at least one faith book and believe God for light. Every encounter with the Word builds faith. Believe God for light and watch what will happen in your life. Remember faith is a profession, you need to learn the skills of what makes it work. Church Gist. When you learn from those who worked it and it worked for them, it becomes easy for you to understand it, comprehend it. Church Gist. Thank God for Smith Wigglesworth, he taught me my dominion right over all devils. I got it in 1979. There is no apartheid in knowledge. Find it wherever you can and it becomes a personal asset. There is no abracadabra in the faith.
– I see you gain command.
– The things that used to threaten you will be threatened at your presence.
