THANK GOD FOR THE GRACE THAT HAS BROUGHT US WHERE WE ARE BUT I WOULD HAVE BEEN SURPRISED IF WE WERE NOT THERE.

Just any ass who chooses to allow Jesus ride on him becomes a most decorated ass. Church Gist. No ass ever had any garments spread before it to ride on but she did because she gave Jesus room to ride on her back. He will make a star of any dummy who submits to his will.
– May each one of us end up submitting totally to the will of God!
– The same way the ass was decorated he will decorate you beyond your wildest imagination!
That was a star ass; all the asses in the world was envying that ass. The master was on it, it was marching majestically on human clothes, palm fronds. Church Gist. They were shouting, hosanna, to the rider, the ass too was nodding its head – see how they are praising me.
– Every where you have been mocked, they will turn around to envy you!
Just allow him ride on your back, keep him there with delight, no reactions, no grumbling, no murmuring, with joy and rejoicing you are heading somewhere!
Praise the Lord I’m finally on the Covenant Highways of Life!
Tomorrow is a very unique date – 29th of June, 2023 – that was the day God launched this ministry into a new realm of signs and wonders. So expect signs and wonders tomorrow as you step out. The sick shall be healed, the dead shall be raised, unusual things will happen. June 29, 1992 the Lord said to me in very clear words, “it’s time for change – the change I have talked to you over the years. It’s a time of signs and wonders, a new dimension of a higher order.” Church Gist. The result is pace setting manifestations which we are experiencing day and night. It will be 31 years tomorrow. The world seems to wait for what will happen next here to know what they will do – pace setting.
Another good news just hit us 2 nights ago about Covenant University. In the first edition of ranking African Universities by Times Higher Education, Covenant emerged first in Nigeria, first in West Africa and number 7 in Africa. Give the Lord praise! The next one (Nigerian University) to Covenant in Africa on that ranking is number 27. (Number) 7, 27 – what a gap!
Pace setting! He said, “I launch you into your apostolic phase of ministry today for pace setting. Church Gist. Signs and wonders resulting in pace setting manifestations.” So watch out – things that have never happened by your hand tomorrow will take place! As you declare the word boldly according to what you have prayed, he will confirm it with signs and wonders following. So be part of it, pick fire from there to keep you going the remaining part of this revival season in the name of Jesus Christ!
Now, we are concluding tonight our teaching series, ENGAGING THE POWER OF PASSION IN STEWARDSHIP – Part 7. Remember we are in our season of glory and the master facilitator of this awesome manifestation is turning many to righteousness. Church Gist. Daniel 12:3. Turning many to righteousness makes stars of believers. It’s God’s purpose for his children who will care to do what it takes to step into it. I see many stars here!
The mind is stronger than the hand. A mind to work will get any task accomplished. Nehemiah had this awesome passion, transiting to action and shared with the people of Judah and mockers came from every side. But the people were unrelenting because they had a mind to work. Church Gist. Nehemiah 4:6. Passion has its root in the mind. When any man’s mind is set on the delivery of a particular task, the job is more than half done. The mind is also stronger than the body. When the mind is set for a task, the body aligns with that agenda. The mind is like the engine and the body is like the trailer. So when the trailer head is set for motion, the low bed follows. So when your mind is set to work, your body aligns to get the job done.
One of those days, having watched the hours in the night, we were going to move out and my body was trying to say, you may not need to go today, my mind was saying, I have to go. Church Gist. My mind dragged my body. Before we were at the first point, my body had cooperated fully. A mind to work is what gets the job done.
Now watch: they were bearing the burden with one hand and holding the sword with the other hand. Church Gist. You know the meaning? Their body was responding beyond its natural capacity because they had a mind to work. Those buildings on the wall using their two hands to build had their sword girded on their side, ready to fight as they were building. Their bodies were responding. They didn’t take off their clothes except for washing. You had all of that record in Nehemiah 4:6, 13-18, 21-23. They had a mind to work, they dragged their bodies along. You find lay-by people, they don’t have a mind to engage, there is no way their bodies can align. They don’t have a mind to work, there is no way it can work in their hand because of their mindset. Wake up, reset your mind to make the most of your adventure in the kingdom. Reset your mind because God’s people are ordained to take the stage in the end time. The proud world will bow to the authority of the saints who are under the authority of Christ. Church Gist. So reset your mind. You know there are some of my wristwatches that when I don’t use them for a long time and want to use them, I have to reset them because they have stayed wherever they were for a long time. So you reset your mind, something is happening here.
Zacchaeus had a mind to see Jesus, you can’t stop him. He was very short but trees are taller than men, if I climb a tree I will be taller than the tallest man. He climbed a tree and he got it. The paralytic man had it in mind to be healed, there was no room to enter. Is there a roof? Drop me through the roof. With a mind to work things will work, without a mind to work things will not work. Without a mind to work nothing works. Church Gist. Whatever one can not imagine, he cannot make happen. So manifestations begin with imagination. Image formation of an accomplished task in mind. It is not a big deal. Genesis. Without a mind to work, you will pass through the two months as if nothing has happened yet stories are changing around the world. Those who are not even on ground here by connecting their stories are changing. Somebody is sitting down here he has no mind to do anything so nothing is happening. I have heard from heaven certain things in the last three-four weeks that I have never heard in my life.
Whatever one’s mind cannot contain, his hands can never deliver. I went out yesterday and we returned with 192 souls. What is the problem? You can’t get two, you can’t get four? A whole month. Your mind is not there. It is time to reset your mind to engage according to scriptures. My job, my job, your job but you still eat. If you have time to eat, you have time to pray. Did you ever pray? Where is the impact of your prayer? As far as your eyes can see unto you, I will give it. Your mind first must come to play before you can step into what belongs to you. Genesis 13:14-15. Every step forward in a man’s life is as prompted by his mind. They sat down and said it is not reasonable for us to leave the Word of God and be serving tables. Church Gist. They engaged their minds to reason. We will give ourselves to prayer and the ministry of the Word. Then the disciples increased, the Word of God increased greatly in Jerusalem. Every step forward in a man’s life is as prompted by his mind. There is a resetting of the mind to make it happen. When we reset our minds according to the truth of scriptures, we have created a future. When I reset my mind on Matthew 6:33, I saw my future as a reality. That is why I will always say I am not surprised we are where we are, thank God for the grace that has brought us where we are. I would have been surprised if we were not there. My mind was reset. I stepped into a covenant consciously. God saw it was real, I wasn’t faking it. Thank you Jesus.
Total appearance in church from my own outreach team this year is 14,370. New converts and their family members that came with them. Number established by our standard of five consistent Sunday worship services, 8,000 of them consistently, not that you came this time and you didn’t come the next two weeks. A mind to work gets it to work. Who told me to set up an outreach office? My mind. Multitudes are in the valley of decision, how do we get them? That I ministered to you does not mean… Look, I know that there are some of you that are born again here, that is what we tell them on the field but there are those of you who want to give their lives to Christ today. Church Gist. We have contacts and we have converts. Not that you went out and you write everybody’s name that you come across. That is not new converts. You preach to him and he said I will think about it, you say write your name down. Is that a convert? No.
Every step forward in a man’s life is as prompted by his mind. So renew your mind to transform your life. Romans 12:2. Renewing means resetting your mind according to the truth. Church Gist. We saw how Christ commanded us to love Christ with all our heart, all our soul and all our mind. Your mind has to be a part of it.
Every evil act is a product of evil thoughts. So every great happening is a product of great thoughts as gleaned from scriptures. I saw the truth of kingdom prosperity. Church Gist. Ye! I can never be poor. This is what it takes to make it happen and I am hooked on to it. So it must happen, there is no point begging.
Unfortunately there are many mindless believers in the Body of Christ. They are just hanging on, I know something will happen some day. We saw how the whole of Judah entered into a Covenant to serve God with all their heart and with the whole of their desire 2 Chronicles 15:12, 15. Our desire has to come to play. Church Gist. What are you looking forward to? How can you enter a whole year as a believer without a kingdom dream, not one kingdom dream? ‘I want a plot here, I want a yard here and you’re wanting and it’s not happening.’ Give God the first place of your life and everything will start lining up in your favour. We are looking at the root of passion – where it comes from.
Without a mind to work, nothing works but with a mind to work, nothing can stop things from working. They (children of Israel) got that job done in 52 days. That generational siege, shame was overturned in 52 days because they had the mind to work. Today is 28 of June and we are still running into July – with all that period? With a mind to see things done I saw a Church built in a village in 40 days. Church Gist. Without being called, I wasn’t a Pastor and I wasn’t baptized in the Holy Ghost. Passion! A mind to see Jesus have a foothold in that place gave birth to it and then I encountered destiny. Many will encounter destiny this time.
God always shows up to those who are passionate for him. He showed up for Nehemiah, Gideon, Moses – his passion to see Israel delivered stayed with him in spite of his captivity. So reset your mind on God.
Let me round up on this: Colossians 3:1-3. I don’t know when we gathered here to say, “Oh God, Covenant University do something there.” Check all of our prayer items whether you saw it there. Just do what he says to do, he knows how to move in other areas that concerns you. Church Gist. Set your affection on things above not on things on the Earth and then you be in command of things on the Earth. You’re the one who can set it, nobody else can. Colossians 3:1-3; Matthew 6:33.
Everything here works. You heard the Faith Academy testimony the other time, is it 6 Nigerians that are going for that championship and 4 out of them are from Faith Academy. Where is Nigeria? Faith Academy. Church Gist. In the University system now, where is Nigeria? Covenant University. You can’t make God first and be last. So it’s your turn to reset your affection on what creates a future. No one shall miss it in the name of Jesus!
What is passion? Passion is key to actualising any God set agenda. Without passion you can’t see God’s purpose realized in your life. Paul the passionate fulfilled God’s agenda in his life. Church Gist. 2 Timothy 4:6-8; Philippians 1:21; 1 Corinthians 9:16-23. My question is, what are you doing for the Gospel’s sake? Yet you want God to do all things for you.
We got some amazing good news from Botswana. One of the members built a 350 capacity Church, pastorium and everything and handed over the key to the Church. We had it also in Congo Brazzaville, we had somebody in Canada who built one here in Ogun State – he sent the paper in yesterday, people are moving! Church Gist. People are outside the country and they are sending transportation fee home – to their zones. “Oh the Church is very far.” (You say) The zone that is close to you, do you go there? Without a mind to walk with God you will never succeed in walking with God.
Can I tell you where my motivation is? God doesn’t need me for anything; I need him for everything. Whether I serve him, he is God. Whether I don’t serve him, he is God. If I serve him till death he won’t be more than God than he is God. Church Gist. If I don’t serve him till I die, he won’t be less than God. So who is benefitting? I am. If you understand that my friend, you will run after God.
– May this season mark the beginning of your pursuit of God with all intent and purpose!
To be passionate here implies to be unstoppable and ever on the move in the pursuit of God. Passion is a covenant catalyst for joy that makes stewardship profitable. You can’t be passionate and be joyless. 1 Corinthians 9:16. Passion makes doing the will of God a delight. You are not under pressure, tension, being coerced, it is out of your free will that you’re pursuing after him. Church Gist. Serving God without joy makes it unprofitable – it’s counterproductive. Why? Because you are looking at God as a burden whereas he is a giving you a privilege for a change of story. Deuteronomy 28:47-48.
One cannot possess genuine passion for God and the interest of his kingdom and not secure his enviable destiny on the Earth. It’s guaranteed. You can’t have God at the center of your life and still end up miserable. Church Gist. You can’t be stranded with God on your side. Every gate lifts up their head for him. So the days of stagnation are over!
– The good news is: it’s your turn for a dramatic change of story!
Elisha a passion made next generation Prophet. Church Gist. You can’t have relevance in your generation without being passionate after the order of those who are before you.
Let me conclude here. 1 Corinthians 4:17. Every certified shepherd is ordained to be an example to the flock. So there are ways which they have taken which have yielded amazing profits, they make them available to you so you can make your choice to follow suit or ignore. Hebrews 6:12. You don’t sit down to inherit promises, you take steps. 1 Corinthians 11:1-2. Church Gist. These God-ordained shepherds are delivered ordinances that are to help the flock to fulfil their destiny. So as long as it is in the Word, follow it. When I saw Matthew 6:33, what I do in life does not make a difference. I know that standing on this all these things that others are dying to get shall be added to me. If I were selling firewood, they shall be added. Pure water or medium water, shall be added. Whatsoever he doeth shall prosper, there is no high flying career with God. So watch out, it is a brand new day.
Philippians 3:17-18. Just confess and possess. People are confused because they won’t let them know what to do because they are not doing it themselves. Church Gist. Set your affection on things above and you gain command of things on the earth. It is a brand new day. This is what helps your passion to stay alive.
Hebrews 13:7. Try to mark what they are on doing that is making things happen in their lives and if you are interested, follow. There are many in this Church today who have gone off the pressure zone of life. They are in the war free zone of life. You can just reset your affections and get on that platform. Those who are following are getting results, those who are not following are complaining. Jesus said follow me and I will make you. Church Gist. I can’t make you while you are sitting down. I will make you when you follow me. If you are not willing to follow, I am not willing to follow. So follow. Again, my prayer is that no one shall be left on the same spot. Serving God from now shall be with delight because you know you are doing it for your own change of story.
David a man with a heart for God was not recognized as a candidate but he was God’s choice. No matter what level you are, you can’t miss your mark on the earth with a heart for God. You never come across a truly passionate believer that is grounded. You never be grounded anymore in your life. You never know stagnation anymore in your life. Awesome God! I thank God for Being that faithful Father, nothing can break His covenant. No matter the situation on the earth, God remains God and His Word remains intact. It lives and abides forever. So it is not circumstances that are holding you down, it is your stand with God that determines the happenings in your life. May this night be a night of recovery. Since 1976, I have not been trapped by borrowing. What do I have? God! What is making it happen? Passion for God. When I sent you and you went, lack ye anything? Church Gist. You said you will but did you go? Passion keeps you in motion, it endears you to God for favour. No one here will run out of favour anymore. This is not a make-believe thing, hundreds and thousands of us in this commission are under this frequency. May you find your way there tonight.
A number of us have children, have we ever wished that one of them fails and the others succeed? Have you wished that one of them will be poor and the other ones will succeed so that they can be supplying him? Why do you think God will wish so? No! His name is Love. He has an equal destiny for us but our access is in aligning with what He says to do. You can’t align and God won’t manifest Himself. It is your turn. The day I found out that there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek, between the white man and the black man, my spirit man was liberated. There is nothing in the West that is special. Church Gist. The same God is rich over all. Just get Him on His correct number, He will answer you. No more frustration, you never know the meaning of frustration in your life. You will never come across a passionate believer that suffers depression. He is always in motion, in season and out of season. The world is depressed today, you won’t be part of it. Many are considering suicide today, no one in your household will do that.
