One covenant key to answered prayers is that every prayer must end with genuine thanksgiving. Otherwise, it will never see desired answers. Philippians 4:6. So when you are thanking God ensure to thank Him with the same tempo with which you are asking. It is how to complete the number. An uncompleted number on your phone will never connect. Church Gist. You have to receive it first by faith before you can have it in your hand. Therefore in the name of Jesus with your genuine Thanksgiving, none of your prayers will bounce back.
Someone came to church last Sunday, gave his life to Christ and came out of the grave. It is not about how long you have been there but how open your heart is. Most times you are so used to prophets that their Words become like lovely songs. They don’t hold any value in your heart so there is no way it can deliver. The man said he found him knocking his two legs “please tell him to forgive me. I am behind all the evils of his life”. His business ran down to zero. No car, nothing. He believed the prophetic Word that you will hear good news and he heard it. You will hear your own today. Encounters that count are personal. Church Gist. You can’t take a vaccination on behalf of another person. The entrance of His Word, (which connotes a kind of vaccination) gives light. It is an inoculation. It is personal, absolutely so. The intravenous transmission they do in hospitals is personal, no one can do it for you. That is the water of life, no one can drink on your behalf. Desire an encounter this week. The last moment of a prophetic agenda is everybody’s season. We are in this last season of this eruption of grace. Please let your heart be there. Jeremiah 15:16. Can anybody eat for you? Can anyone take medication on your behalf? Psalm 107:20. So the Word that heals has to be received personally. Proverbs 4:20.
Lord, give me my personal encounter this last week. I must have a lifetime encounter with you through prayers and the Word this week. I have been hearing people say “God told me”. I want to be able to say so. Speak to me directly, cause me to hear your Word. Let my encounter with your Word open new chapters in my life. Everybody pray. Church Gist. Not all pastors hear from God, not all founders hear from God, not all evangelists hear from God, Lord I want to hear from you. It is my spiritual birthright to hear your Word. This last week must be my week of unforgettable encounters. A most memorable encounter, so let it be.
Father, honor your Word today. As we begin to spray the bullets of your Word, let each one catch his own. Church Gist. Let it destroy all the works of the wicked in their life. Let no one leave this service without a definite encounter with your Word. So let it be.
We have tried to repeat this over and again. We are in the last days, the days of prayer and fasting. We were in the days of the empowerment of the church that enabled the church to rule in the midst of her enemies. Isaiah 41:39-40. Psalm 110:2. Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit and had dominion over the kingdom of darkness. Luke 5:33-35. You better enjoy it, it is a platform that secures our glorious destiny in Christ. Develop yourself to enjoy, don’t see it as punishment or being constrained. See it as a platform that makes living profitable. In a wicked world that we live in we need to be empowered for triumph. Luke 10:19. It takes power to triumph in this world of wickedness. 1 John 5:19. So there is no where you can run to if a witch is tormenting you, if you go to Australia they will be there before you arrive. They don’t need VISA. You run to America and you find them in your apartment that you don’t know where it is now. They know the place before you come. They arrived there before you arrive. Wherever the air blows, their wicked forces operate. “The prince of the power of the air” except you find a vacuum. Church Gist. That is why we need to be armed to live a battle ready life. There might not be time to get ready. We have to live ready. So prayer and fasting is what provide the access to power that establishes our dominion over the powers of darkness and access to light that shatters the powers of darkness. John 1:5. So enjoy it.
Check out the lives of those who say God spoke to me, they were all men given to a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. Many have eaten off their destiny. They were men and women given to prayer and fasting.
I was up on the mountain seeking the Lord and I could only describe it as the Mount of Transfiguration. Every scripture caught fire. Awesome God! We have one more week to go. You can make the most of this week Sir. Don’t approach it carelessly. Don’t do it as you are experienced. Church Gist. What experience? It is what you come out with that determines your worth. So the two major assets are power and light. The cheapest way to deal with the wickedness of the wicked is to be empowered and lightened. Darkness can’t stand in the way of light forever. Darkness can never handle light forever. Whenever light steps in, darkness steps out. That will be your new lifestyle.
We have also been looking at the fact that we are in the last days, the days of the fulfilment of prophecies. Acts 3:20-21. The days of fulfilment of prophetic biblical prophecies. Church Gist. Biblical prophecies will be duly, fully fulfilled before Jesus comes. We have been trading a number of those biblical prophecies. This morning we look at two of them.
1. The last days are ordained the days of supernatural wealth in the Body of Christ.
Haggai 2:3-9 clearly defines it. We are going to be following under heaven’s economy. The glory of the latter house shall be more than the former through access to heaven’s wealth. Zechariah 1:17. Malachi 3:17-18. Heaven’s wealth is already speaking on the earth, your church has a testimony of it. Heaven’s wealth is already speaking on the earth, you better take a strong position in the covenant to be eligible for access. Take a strong place in the covenant, you will be listed among the controllers of supernatural wealth. You don’t sit down to get it, you get out of your slumber to get it. It is not you praying into it, it is taking a strong position into it. I knew that 41 years ago. I got greater insight in 1987. It is too real. You can’t sit down in this church and be doubting the reality of supernatural wealth. It is unfair to yourself. You know how God built this sanctuary? I must tell you the truth. We need 30 million tomorrow. Go ahead. There is no service tomorrow. We need 50 million on Thursday. Go ahead my friend. That is heaven’s wealth speaking on the basis of the covenant. I have never been in a corner Sir. I am telling you the truth. Financially? Do I know when children go to school? Did I take a dime from your church money? You put iniquity far from your tabernacle then you lay up gold as dust. Job 22:21-26. Awesome God! Heaven’s wealth is already speaking on the earth for the faithful. Stop reading negative meanings to the blessed. Find out where their blessings are coming from. You know the air-conditioned people for the Ark are already asking when they are bringing in the items. Church Gist. You know why? We have paid. They won’t bring it in without us paying. Heaven’s wealth is speaking on the earth already, wake up and take a strong position in the covenant to be eligible for it. It won’t happen with anybody’s skill, expertise or experience. Where you live is irrelevant, my friend. This covenant works wherever the sun shines. This covenant works wherever the sun shines. The covenant works wherever the sun shines. You can’t stop the sun, you can’t stop the covenant. Any nation that can not stop the sun, cannot stop the covenant. As wicked as the government of Nigeria has been in the last eight years have they been able to stop the sun? You know there are witches in Nigeria, old, young, middle-aged, ‘witchest’ witches. Have they been able to stop the sun? They can’t stop the covenant, just get yourself in it. Jeremiah 33:20-22. Church Gist. Every child of God is redeemed as a king and a priest to reign on the earth. That is my covenant with redeemed remains intact as long as the sun keeps shining. So you are not damned because of the economy of Nigeria, you have not connected with the economy of heaven. When you have connected, it will show. “What is tithe?” Be speaking grammar, the day is coming when your grammar will just dry up. Malachi 4:1. The days come that burn like an oven all the people who are stealing people’s money and calling it their money. Whether in government or out of government, the day that is coming shall burn them up. Come on now, you see how your church is growing forth and growing up? No games. The efficacy and veracity of the covenant. You can’t stop it. This small church is a tithing church, I don’t know how big your company is but this small church is a tithing church. So we are under an open heaven of financial fortune. Not a call to any member of this church for a project forever. Not speaking to somebody’s pocket because he has some coins there. It is all left to you, God is not looking for what to take from you, He is looking for what to give you. Don’t like it but I am told to tell you whether you like it or not. I will tell you.
Let me tell you the place of fasting and prayer in your prosperity.
1. It enables you to subdue your enemies who are angry with your prosperity.
2. It gives you access to light that gives you confidence in the covenant.
That is the place of fasting and prayer in the school of prosperity. People hate your church because of her prosperity but they have been helpless because of the empowerment. If this church prays against you, you are finished. Church Gist. If they rise up and pray for five minutes mentioning your name, you will fry. You are empowered to silence your enemies. The Lord shall be your defence as you command plenty of silver. The light that breaks out keeps you growing from one level to another. Someone’s story is changing.
2. The Last days are the days of consecration.
We are in the days of consecration. Jesus is coming to rapture a church without spot or blemish. Holiness will become the new way of life of the end-time church. The fear of God will rule over our lives. No more toying with sin and explaining it away. The man of sin has arrived but thank God, greater is the mystery of godliness. Church Gist. 2 Thessalonians 2:7. 1 Timothy 3:16. One is mystery, another one is a great mystery, there are two different classes. When the great mystery of Aaron’s rod landed it swallowed up all the lesser mysteries. So when you get into the mystery of godliness, it swallows up the mystery of iniquity.
Three ways to secure our God ordained consecration
1. Prayer
Matthew 26:41. Matthew 6:13.
2. Feeding on the Word
Or let me say, taking Word showers. The farther you are from the Word, the more defiled you become. The farther we are from prayer the more defiled we become. Ephesians 5:26. So we take spiritual showers in the world. Psalm 119:9-11. We take word showers to stay clean. Can anybody take showers on your behalf? You tell your wife since you are one “please shower for me. You know I don’t like showering”. Church Gist. So you wake up in the morning and wear your suit and put on perfume. The stench under the perfume will come out and overcome the perfume. Just like you get fresh when you take your natural showers, you take showers in the word to be refreshed so you don’t smell on the streets.
3. Engage the ministry of the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Ghost is the sanctifier of the saints. He shall sit as the purifier of silver. Malachi 3:1-3. 1 Corinthians 6:11. We are sanctified by the Spirit of God. In Romans 1:4 He is called the Spirit of Holiness. So He enables us to walk in the steps of the Master. That is the mystery of godliness. It is not that you slept and then you are clean. These are the things to do. You wake up in the morning, my Father I worship you. Lead me not into temptation today. Deliver me from evil today. Enough for today are the evils thereof. So you deal with it every day. You take showers in the word. When things are going the other way round, you take teachings on consecration and re-consecrate. When the trumpet shall sound, not one of us shall be left behind. Matthew 23:26-28. You find the need to wash the inside if the outside will be clean. So it has to start from inside because from within, out of the hearts of man proceed evil thoughts which degenerate into evil acts. So you deal with it, keep your heart with all diligence. If you don’t deal with the thoughts, the acts can overcome you. You deal with the thoughts within to overcome the acts without. Church Gist. Mark 7:21-23. How do we get it done? The blood. The blood of Christ purges our conscience from dead works. We are not just praying, we are engaging the blood for a purge of conscience. Purge my heart, my mind from evil thoughts today. The blood of Jesus. You engage the blood to purge your insides so the outside can be clean also. You engage the blood, you engage the Spirit of God to keep you fit in this era of consecration. By His grace, we shall all make it.
Some profitable approach to fasting includes:
– forgiving those who offend us.
This must not be abused. As loving as God is, if you won’t repent, you won’t get forgiven. The prodigal son repented, the father took him back. Don’t abuse scripture. No one is ever entitled to forgiveness without genuine repentance. Be patient, in case some day the Holy Spirit touches them to repent. Don’t react, don’t hate. For it is religious foolishness to see somebody is forgiven who is arrogant and will not repent and see what he has done is wrong. Don’t abuse forgiveness with God. People abuse forgiveness, they will say we are sorry today and they still do it tomorrow. What kind of sorry is that? Be open to let go but don’t play back into the hand of the wicked. Church Gist. They said you stole. I didn’t steal. Okay you are forgiven. What kind of forgiveness is that When it is proven that you stole. David said I hate them with perfect hatred that hate you. There are some scriptures we are not using now. Please don’t let anybody pamper you to hell. Get down to yourself and don’t hide from your flesh. Get back. There are those you tell lies to, they know you are lying but you are lying. There are those you find something in their hand like this and they say it is not in their hand. What of this one I am looking for? No! It is not in my hand. This is what I am looking for, this is the one. No!/they take it and find the name of the person there, no! It is just a coincidence. There are people like that. There are many. No hatred, no bitterness but don’t play into the hand of the wicked. Just face your business, don’t let anybody distract your attention.
When challenged, come reminding God of His promise. Isaiah 43:26. Engaging in praying for the needs of others is one covenant system for having your needs met.
Finally, come with full assurance of faith to receive your answers. Hebrews 10:22-23. Without faith, prayer is barren. We need full assurance of faith to secure answers to our prayers. You will not miss your answers.
Man’s forgiveness will never carry the worth of God’s forgiveness. When God forgives you, no man can ‘unforgive’ you. The problem people go through is that they have not secured God’s forgiveness. They need to secure God’s forgiveness to get back on course. Church Gist. Proverbs 28:13. That is God’s own justice. You want mercy? Confess and forsake and I guarantee you mercy. Not just come and say I am sorry. Confess and forsake. You won’t miss the mercy of God.
When God forgives you, He will minister to the people you offend that the matter is over. You can’t have his forgiveness and miss man’s forgiveness. We should get down to that level. Who is greater? God.
Mixtures never work here. Out with Jesus in the day, go to professional prophets in the night, go to native doctors in the midnight. Mallam early morning. Mixture never works with God. Church Gist. A double minded person is unstable in all his ways. Let not that man think he shall receive anything from God. James 1:8. I have not added one thing to Jesus since I met Him and next month it will be 54 years.
Just like we have physical graves, we also have spiritual graves. 1 Timothy 5:6. Dead while yet she lives. So there are dead individuals walking the streets. They are believers but they are dead. We saw another gruesome picture described as twice dead. Jude 1:12. That connotes that there are spiritual graves. Today God who you came to will open all graves. Our spiritual state is what defines our overall state. We are fighting too many things, we need to secure a sound spiritual state. That is where our overall state in life. Church Gist. Therefore today as commanded by the Lord, I have come here to prophesy that every spiritual grave be open. Romans 8:6. I decree that every grave of carnality be opened today. 2 Timothy 2:19-21.
– May the grave be opened today for every vessel of earth and wood to come forth as vessels of honour.
Many have little or nothing to show for their redemption. 1 Timothy 4:8. May every grave holding down and bound our profitability in redemption be opened today.
It can’t be well with you spiritually and be upside down on the other side. 3 John 2. To the level of the prosperity and buoyancy of your spiritual life. Very interesting scripture. John 3:3-8. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit, he is not spiritual, he is spirit. He has to be conscious of that. What that means is that we are redeemed to be on top of issues of life because we are at the command of the supernatural. Church Gist. That is why the devil is contending for our place. He is looking to blow off as many as he can get. He is all out blowing his evil wind so we can miss our place in redemption. He will not succeed in Jesus’ name. Please mind your spiritual state, it is what defines our overall state in the kingdom. Mind your spiritual state.
Abraham, a friend of God. Isaiah 41:8, James 2:23, Amos 3:3. See what became of a man that walked with God. Before the spiritual fall of Adam, he was in charge of the earth. Church Gist. After his spiritual fall he lost out. Isaiah 51:1-3. When our spiritual state is in shape, we are just in command. Abraham was living in a garden while the world was a desert.
– In the precious name of Jesus, I decree today spiritual restoration for every worshipped in this Church.
– Every grave of spiritual bondage is declared open today.
– Every grave of spiritual slumber…
Romans 11:8 talks about spiritual slumber where you are just awake looking at them like what are they talking? Nothing moves you. Ephesians 5:14. Church Gist. Awake thou that sleepeth you are on your way to the grave.
– Every grave of spiritual slumber opens up today.
A sleepy state is a helpless state that is why they give you food to eat in the sleep. You are just helplessly helpless. Jesus came to them the first time they were sleeping. The second time and third time, he said leave them. Church Gist. A spirit of slumber took over their lives. They couldn’t stand the hour of temptation, they fled. I decree today, the opening of every state of spiritual slumber. Today you are out of it.
Ezekiel 37:12
– After this meeting, your spiritual life will take a new turn.
Then the grave of spiritual blindness and deafness that turns believers into mincemeat in the hand of the devil. Isaiah 42:18-25.
– I decree the opening of every spiritual grave of blindness and deafness today.
Many in the name of God led me have fallen into the mouth of the lion. They walk with their eyes open into the eyes of a lion, they can’t see, they can’t hear. Church Gist. They just took off into the wrong hands.
– Every spiritual grave that is leading to the torment of people’s lives is declared open today.
Then the grave of spiritual defilement. You saw Joshua the high priest who was clothed with filthy garments. Zechariah 3:1-3. Helplessly, he couldn’t do anything about it. Heaven had to intervene. He just had himself decked with that garment. Every grave of spiritual defilement that is robbing people of their inheritance in Christ, I declare them open today. Church Gist. You have tried and tried but those demonic forces say they won’t let you go but from today you are going.
– The pride that is scattering your home, you are going out of it.
– The pride that won’t let you keep a job or get a job is leaving you alone.
– The immorality that is cuddling your destiny, you are out of it.
Every evil being forced on you to send you to an eternal grave, you are coming out of it forever.
Now the grave of spiritual emptiness. Matthew 12:43-45. Spiritual emptiness is a risk. Therefore let the Word of God dwell in your heart richly (Colossians 3:16). Feed on the Word, don’t give room to spiritual emptiness. It is a risk.
– I therefore decree every grave of spiritual emptiness opens up today.
Colossians 1:9. Church Gist. You can’t afford to watch spiritual emptiness linger on. It is a risk, it makes the latter end of the victim worse than the beginning. He begins to do things worse than he was doing before he was saved. Spiritual emptiness is an open invitation to the devil and unclean spirits.
– The battle is won
Finally the grave of spiritual slothfulness. Through slothfulness, a building decays. Christianity is active or on the way to decadence. Ecclesiastes 10:18. Slothfulness is a risk. Hebrews 6:12. It is active Christianity that pays not sit down look Christianity. Not bench-warming Christianity. He is a rewarder of them diligently seek Him. Church Gist. Everyone shall be rewarded according to His own labour. If you are not labouring, you will soon run out of favour.
– I therefore decree the opening of every spiritual grave of slothfulness. Be out of it in the name of Jesus.
Ephesians 4:28. If he is not working, he will soon start stealing. That is where the decadence begins. He will be busybody in other people’s matters and partake of their sin.
– Therefore the grave of spiritual slothfulness that keeps a believer complacent, just warming the bench and carrying titles is over finally.
– May this year be everyone’s year of maximum spiritual engagement.
Prayers: Lord send fresh fire into my life. Quicken my spiritual life afresh. I am out of every spiritual grave today. I refuse to be listed among the dead, I must not wait to be called twice dead.
Worldly pleasure is what makes a dead believer. Woe to them that are at ease in Zion. Jude 1:10-11.
– That grave must open today and never be reopened again.
There are some Christians, they will do anything to get money. Do you still go to Church? Once a while. He wants contract. Are you still going to that church? In fact I have just thought of changing now. Church Gist. Yeye. Twice dead. Zero spiritual sensitivity. Not you. Jude 1:12-13. Not you.
– The grave of been ashamed of God is finally open.
Lift your two hands and whatever you see as a grave, call for it to be opened. That grave of spiritual deafness is opened today. Grave of addiction to evil is opened today. Church Gist. Everybody’s Spiritual life takes a new turn today. The grave of spiritual slumber is opened today.
The Lord sent me to host on His behalf this Prophetic Release Service. I heard Elijah say “prove that I have done this thing according to thy word”.
– Therefore I decree, every form of spiritual grave holding anyone bound in any form is opened today.
– Bondage to spiritual emptiness, bondage to spiritual deafness and blindness. Church Gist. Father, I decree today the opening of every spiritual grave.
Spiritual Graves open now. Every spiritual grave open now.
– A new day dawns on your spiritual life today. A new day dawns on our spiritual life today in the name of Jesus.
Because our spiritual state defines our overall state in life, I therefore decree every grave of joblessness, graves of marital spells graves of barrenness, Every grave the enemy has put anyone into is opened today.
The grave of untimely death, the graves of spells and enchantment are opened. The graves of satanic assaults on your business, your family and your career are opened today. Come out of your grave. Come out of your grave today. Come out of every grave today in the name of Jesus.
Watch, Many will hear from God today to show that spiritual deafness is over . The grave of spiritual dumbness that makes people just a cheap prey to the devil, as anointed as Christ was when he closed his mouth He was buffeted. Church Gist. The grave of bold declaration in the midst of opposition, the grave of spiritual dumbness is opened today. So shall it be. You will testify. Like that new convert had that testimony the same night, the same Sunday night that he gave his life to Christ. You will hear your testimony.
