The Message this morning is ENJOYING LASTING WEALTH – PART 1. Enjoying Lasting Wealth is a possibility. Please take note, that you are wealthy today is not a guarantee that you will be wealthy tomorrow if you don’t know what to do. Are you hearing what I’m talking about? So don’t get carried away – ‘Well! I’m rich today. Well! All these things they are talking about, what is it’? Church Gist. No!! Please understand the truth. Nigeria, the naira was stronger than the dollar in the 1970s. Those of you who are up to late 40s and 50s will know. It was 70 kobo to a dollar, kobo not naira, 70 kobo to a dollar. 11,000 dollars was 9,000 naira. To go to school, you know? Oklahoma University, you just write without your School Cert., they will admit you. Nigeria was so powerful, not one person was rejected in any Embassy, you go to London without a visa. How come today Nigeria is poor?
-But it will change!
Where were the rich men who were rich in those days? Where are they now? Where are the politicians who stole money but today they are poor? So don’t be carried away, don’t say: ‘This kind of preaching is not for me’. Because even in Church there are people who believe that when they have small change, ‘all these preaching is not for me’, please calm down. Church Gist. With my little age at least I have seen something on the earth. Are you hearing what I’m saying now? So how do I enjoy lasting wealth not just wealth for today and then you are broke tomorrow? Now, by Abrahamic covenant, you and I are destined for prosperity, is that true? Genesis 12:2-3. Galatians 3:13-14. So every born-again child is to enjoy the blessing of what? Abraham. You are not permitted to suffer what the world is suffering.
-And every curse of poverty will drop in your life.
And hear this, by prophetic agenda, the Endtime Church is supposed to be a prosperous Church. Isaiah 2:2. Matthew 5:14. You are the light of the world not the light of the Church so the Church is not the building, the Church is you and I. Anytime they say it, don’t be thinking about the building, the Church is you and I. Is that clear? When they say: ‘Church of Jesus Christ’, don’t think Church of Jesus Christ is the building, no, that’s not the Church. The Church, we are called the Body of Christ. The Church of Jesus Christ is not the building, the Church of Jesus Christ is you and I. Church Gist. God is saying, by prophetic agenda you and I should be at the top, topmost what? Top. We should become the envy of the world. No matter what they have stolen, they can’t match the Church. That’s what God is saying, that they should come and learn the way we are making it. The only people smiling today are Church people, if you look at people’s faces you will know that things are tough because only Church people are smiling. Is that true? Because in the midst of that God is able to make a way out for His people.
-And He will make a way out for you.
Now, by redemption, He was made poor that you and I might be what? Rich. 2 Corinthians 8:9. So, by whichever way, you are not destined to be on the floor but the choice is yours. Now, the physical Israel is prospering till today, is that true? By the covenant of Abraham – they had it with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Now, we are in a better covenant than the physical Israel is that true? So prosperity is our birthright. So, to be born again and remain in poverty is to make a mockery of redemption because one of the things Jesus received for us was riches. Revelation 5:12. One of the things that Jesus received for you and I was what? Riches. So to remain in poverty, you are saying that what Jesus died for is not true. That’s the meaning but that’s not so, He died for you so that you cannot remain poor. Church Gist. Now, He died for you so that you can come out of sin, do you believe that? So, also believe that you came out of poverty. But hear this, your mentality will determine whether you are ready to come out of poverty or not because there are people who have determined that they will never come out of poverty based on their way of thinking. Proverbs 23:7. Now, hear this, a man called Lazarus in Luke 16:20-21, it was his desire never to be rich. Do you know there are Christians who desire they will never be rich based on their way of behavior? Now listen, He said: ‘And there was a certain beggar’, did you hear it? That’s the Bible describing a whole man, describing him as a what? Beggar.
-May you leave the begging Ministry.
It was his desire, not God. He said: ‘He desired to be fed with the crumb that fell from the rich man’s table’. Oh God of Heaven! That a child of God, his desire was to eat from the rich man. ‘And you know? If my brother can just become a Commissioner now, it’s okay for me’. Is that your desire? God will leave you there! In fact they will change your name to Lazarus. This man’s desire was against Scriptures and when he got to Heaven it was so bad that he was at the Bosom of Abraham. God says: ‘Since you disgraced Me on earth, you remain here. You made Me look as if what I died for was not true. Stay at the boy’s quarters of Abraham’. Luke 16:23. Abraham, Bible said he built mansions, the Bible said he was at the door of who? Abraham. That means he was at the boy’s quarters of Abraham. So some of you here, you will go to Heaven God will say: You, you disgraced me here (on earth) stay here, you won’t come to the mansion.
-May you not be amongst the ‘Lazarus’.
It was his desire. I desired never to remain among the poor, I was angry with poverty because I saw it, some of you are not angry, that’s why you are where you are. If you have ever tasted poverty, you will be angry with it. You will hate it, infact you will pursue it more than COVID. Poverty is worse than cancer, you don’t know? It’s a spiritual deadly time bomb – Poverty. Even, your friends won’t greet you, they will say: ‘O boy, how na’? When you want to call, they say: ‘No time, I dey go work’, it’s a lie because of your poverty level. You say: ‘7:00 I wan come see you, he says: ‘No, no 7:00, I go dey for office’. Have you not called people who you know that are related to you, because of your poverty level? You say: ‘Can I come’, he says: ‘Don’t come, anything you want just call me on phone’. But when the rich call them, they say: ‘Erm! Oga you no dey see person again’?
-You will never be among those they will reject!
So get angry! Are you hearing what I’m saying now? Don’t say: ‘It’s the economy. No, no, no! That’s not the problem, your mentality first has to change! Everything Jesus paid the price for, you and I are not permitted to suffer it.
-You will not suffer it anymore!
2 Corinthians 8:9. Now, the subject of prosperity has no respect in you claiming Abraham’s blessings. It has no respect for fasting and prayer, it does not respect the economic policies. It will surprise you that you cannot inherit ‘Lasting Wealth’ – You can’t inherit it. Even if your father is rich, you can’t inherit it, you have to do your own part. ‘Oh! My father is very rich, if he leaves everything…’ Have you not seen all the boys who their parents left houses for them? They are broke, they started selling them one after the other, true? But, they don’t inherit lasting wealth. Church Gist. Now, the answer to lasting wealth in the Kingdom is operating in the covenant. To enjoy lasting wealth, you must delicately keep to the terms of the covenant. Deuteronomy 8:18. He does not give you wealth. He empowers you to get it. Do you understand the Bible? So, He is saying, I’m going to empower you to get wealth but on a condition – Covenant basis. So my duty is to find out the terms of the covenant and apply them. Are you getting what God is saying here? So the empowerment that makes for lasting wealth in the Kingdom of God is never wished but comes by operating in the covenant and it still works till today.
So what is a covenant?
A covenant is a deal enacted by God with well defined terms sealed with an oath. Now, hear me people of God, a covenant as it were is like a contract, it involves two or more people; in this case it involves God and you, God and us. That’s what God is saying. It is an agreement between two or more parties with terms and benefits. So it’s an agreement between two parties and the compliance of both parties to the terms of agreement is what ratifies it. Church Gist. Now, God is the covenantor, you are the covenantee. Are you getting what I am saying now? So, you find out: ‘What is it that I need to do that will commit God to do His own part’? That’s all I need to find out. So, you are the beneficiary of this deal because God has nothing to lose, He is God, He can never lie, so we are the ones to benefit. So, all you and I need is good understanding of what the covenant entails and then you just enjoy abundance.
-You will enjoy abundance!
Listen people of God, one major principle that governs the covenant of lasting wealth is written in Genesis 8:22. It is the backbone of the covenant. He said while this earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest shall not what? Cease. So my duty is to find out what kind of seed I need to sow. Are you getting me Sir? Because we have different kinds of what? Seeds. Church Gist. Do you know greeting is a seed, hope you know? Do I need to greet? When you greet, you get more greetings. To love somebody is a seed, are you hearing me now? So, but every seed will produce after what? Its kind. So I need to know the kind of seed God is talking about in this one. Are you getting me Sir? Glory to God. Shout Hallelujah!
God will never go back on these things in setting covenant principles, you know what God said in Psalms 89:34? He said: ‘I can’t break it’. Our God can never go back on His Word. He said it is a covenant, I can’t break it, it’s unbreakable, just do your own part. Now hear me, God is bound with an oath. He said: ‘Look! I am committed, I can’t deny Myself of what I’ve said. So if God has declared that once there is a seed, harvest is what? Sure. Then my duty is to do what? Because God is not a man that He should lie. Numbers 23:19. If God has said: ‘Look! As long as this earth remaineth seedtime and harvest shall not cease’. My duty is to find out the kind of seed I need to sow. Is that clear Sir? Church Gist. And then God is eternally committed to keep His own part of the covenant. Because He is not a man. He is not Nigerian Government that will say one thing and do another thing, that’s not God. He is not the Government of the World, Government of the World can say one thing and do another thing but not God. God’s Government, the Kingdom Government, it does not say one thing and do another thing. Our God is so stable, He backs it with the integrity of Himself. He said: ‘Look, I’m not a man that I should lie’. That means man can lie. Numbers 23:19. The Bible said that man can lie but God can’t lie, man is vulnerable to lies; in fact lying is a normal thing with man. When He says anything you can know He is not man, He is not somebody that will say: ‘I will do this’ and will not do it, say: ‘I hear’.
So God said concerning keeping to the terms of His covenant, now hear what God said in Jeremiah 33:20-25 – You know what God is saying? He said: Be rest assured if you ever wake up and see the day and see the night then do your part. If no economy, no wizard, no devil has turned the day to night and night to day then do your part, I will do my own part. Church Gist. Are you getting what I’m saying here? He said: That is how strong it is, as long as you wake up you see day break, night come, He said: ‘Relax! No demon, no economy can stop what I’ve said I will do. How many understand the Bible? Glory to God.
-And God will do what He said concerning you.
So, He is simply saying, it is impossible for the covenant to fail. Church Gist. Now, hear this: They don’t pray covenant, they don’t fast covenant, they enter into a covenant. 2 Chronicles 15:12-15.
-Somebody will enter into a season of rest.
The people did not read, they didn’t jot the covenant, they entered into it. People enter into a covenant, you sign to it, you don’t just confess: ‘I’m going to be rich, I’m going to be…’ No, no, no! You enter into a covenant to do your part, that’s where the Church misses it – God has said: ‘I’m the head, I’m not the tail, I will prosper’! You can say all those confessions and nothing will work if you don’t enter into a covenant with God and do your own part before the confession. Church Gist. Confession without anything to do with the covenant is to be full of confusion. Okay, you have been confessing since, have you come out of that situation? Now, know! So you enter into the covenant, you don’t just confess. Now, one cardinal truth about the covenant is that it does not work seasonally, it works every time. It works what? Every time. Covenant does not work based on a season it works every time. It is an everlasting covenant. Psalms 103:17-18.
So the covenant is not seasonal, it is everlasting. Then, the covenant is not geographical – it does not work in one nation and fail in another nation. How many understand what the Bible says? Now, listen carefully, you know why I’m saying so? Because, many Christians today even are being fooled including Pastors running from one nation to another thinking that the answer is in nations. It is not in nations, it is in the covenant. There are even people who have left Ministry from Nigeria and gone to foreign nations and been molested. How can a man of God, full-fledged Man of God? How can somebody who have Masters (degree) will now be going to open gates and close gates? God did not send you there! No, no! Child of God listen, it is not where you go to, it is the covenant you operate with. People are beginning to mess their destinies up, running from Nigeria to Canada to put themselves in a can. Somebody will leave a place with dignity and go to open gate in the night in winter? God did not send you, don’t tell me God sent you. It’s not God! You did not follow the steps! Nations don’t make people, it is covenant that makes people. Are you hearing me? Sit down child of God and before you mess up your destiny for nothing.
Geographical location has nothing to do with the covenant. Now, listen. Acts 10:34-35. God is no respecter of persons, He is only a respecter of the covenant but in every nation including the nation where you are hearing me from even if you are from Chad, the nation is irrelevant as long as you do your part; God is committed to doing His part. Church Gist. Say: ‘I hear’! Please listen, it is not nation, He said: God is not a respecter of what? Persons. In every nation of the earth where you belong.
-Today, you hearing me from any part of the world, your case will be different in the name of Jesus.
It is in every nation so it has nothing to do with where you come from. There are poor Americans, there are poor Nigerians and there are rich Americans and very covenant Nigerians. Just walk by what God is saying, you will be shocked. I’ve walked with Him oo from 1997 that I got to know this truth, He has never disappointed me one day. Church Gist. Let Nigeria’s naira tumble, I’ve said it before, I will still not be amongst those who will go through it, not because of this level, even if I was at the level where I was in that 1997, I still would have been able to know what to do to come out of it. Say: ‘I hear’! ‘You know well, God has blessed you (Referring to himself)’! Who told you? I’m a practitioner of the covenant. Are you getting what I’m talking about?
Romans 10:12. There is no difference between the Nigerian and the Ghanaian. There is no difference between the Ghanaian and the man from United States, there is no difference! The same Blood of Jesus bought us. My friend, settle down, stop running to nations, settle down and operate what God said you should operate. When I see people overseas, it pinches my body – What are you doing here? Full-fledged young man, you will now be washing gutter? God never sends you there; you are an embarrassment to the Kingdom of God. The covenant that will work in Nigeria, it will work anywhere it will work even in Afghanistan if you operate it. Say: ‘I hear’! Church Gist. The same Lord is rich to all, Asia, America, Nigeria, anywhere in the world. Just do what God said you should do and see God – If it will not work. Romans 10:12. No matter the nation, the covenant will work anywhere, any day, any time. Now, let me say this: ‘Do you know? Not operating in the covenant is a sign of lack of confidence in the character of God. When you don’t walk by the covenant you are saying: ‘God! What you are saying is not true’ and God hates to be doubted. He loves it when you trust Him – God hates when you doubt Him. Every time you don’t walk by what God says, you are saying: ‘God, what you are saying is not true, I don’t believe You; that if I make it in Nigeria, it can work and so God says: ‘Go ahead with your principles and you will see whether it will work’.
I have seen people who are doing three jobs that cannot pay their bills. That is, they work in the morning, work in the night, sleep only two, three, four hours yet their bills are like mountains. It is not the number of jobs you do my friend, it’s you walking in the principles and what God has commanded you to do. You can do 50 jobs and be broke and do one job and walk in the covenant and be very comfortable. Church Gist. ‘The blessing of the Lord’ not ‘The work you do’ maketh rich and addeth no sorrow. So, you can work and work and work. Okay, if it is so, why are oil company workers owing? With all the money they are paying them. Many of them are indebted true? Does it mean if you work it is the answer? That is not where the answer is, the answer is in the covenant.
Say with me: The answer is in the covenant, it is not in the nation you are. It is not in the number of works you do, it is not in who you know.
Okay, the whole world except those who know the covenant are angry with Israel, does that make Israel to be poor? (Laughing). Israel is already rich, they are dangerously connected to covenant, hope you know that. Natural Israel oo talk about you who is the spiritual Israel. You must understand this thing. Do you know? The wealthiest people on earth today, you will find the Jews. The richest women in the world, they have links with Jews, all the rich women in the world, they have something to do with the Jews – Either their grandfather, their father, they themselves they have bloodlines with Jews. Church Gist. So, if the natural people are wealthy, anywhere they go they grow then you, spiritual (Israel), how can you? You know? Christianity, sometimes, we begin to reason like people of the world, we begin to reason like ‘Lazarus’. You know? ‘If I know, if I can just leave Nigeria and go to United States and I’m able to work two, three jobs as a nurse, I will be able to…’ My friend! Have you not seen nurses who are nursing wounds? The wound of poverty! Owing to their neck! There are doctors in the foreign lands who have no jobs. Most of our doctors who went to Canada have nothing to offer, no work. So, they’ve left Medicine to do other jobs to survive, you don’t need all that my friend! That’s not how it works, are you getting what I am talking about? Don’t go to where they will tolerate you, go to where they will celebrate you.
My wife is a living witness – 2013, they almost knelt down to beg me to remain in America, they said: ‘Sir, the level of miraculous you are working in, if you come here in America… I said: ‘God did not send me here (in America). They said: ‘Sir, just come to America, you operate in the supernatural, it is not available here. If I didn’t know my left from my right, I would have said: ‘This is an open door’. Me, go to America? On a visit, not to live! Pay me one million dollars per hour, I will not be tempted to stay in America, it is not my place. Church Gist. Everybody has a place, are you hearing me now? That’s not my place. They were begging me to stay in the United States. ‘Look! If you stay here? With the way you are operating in the miraculous… Look! For now it is only Benny Hinn, how many people are working like this? You too now, going like this, please stay here you will just blow. I smiled! I said: ‘Before ‘you blow me’ (Laughing), I will go back home. Are you hearing me now? I said: ‘I’m not staying here’! I won’t be tempted. When you don’t know your left from your right, anything can carry you.
-You will never take a wrong step!
How do I activate the covenant for lasting wealth? That light is available does not mean you will have light in your house, you have to connect it, is that true? Yes, you can have an overhead wire does not mean you will have power in your house, you have to connect to your house. Church Gist. How do I activate the covenant for lasting wealth? It is there but they have to be activated. That you have SIM card, until you activate it, you won’t make calls true? They will tell you to activate your SIM card, is that not true? Okay! You have a phone, even a phone you have to activate it. You just get a phone, put SIM card will it work? No! you have to activate the phone to come on, true?
How do I activate the covenant for lasting wealth?
A. Be a faithful tither.
That’s the foundation! Tithing is the foundational covenant obligation for lasting wealth. You don’t have a financial future in the Kingdom of God if you are not a tither. Tithing is the return of 10 percent of all your legitimate income to God including gifts. Including what? Even gifts, you have to pay tithe. Malachi 3:10. There is a very demonic doctrine going on in all over town. People say, tithing is not of God. Church Gist. Ask anybody who preaches that any day to you, ask him: ‘Do you take offerings in your Church’? Because God did not talk about only tithing, He said: ‘You have robbed me of tithe and offerings’ but everybody takes offering. Some of them take even five offerings, we take only one offering in this Church, no matter what we do, it is one offering we take, true? But some Churches you will go there, they say: ‘Offering for this one, offering for this one’, they will put a box, you will take five offerings and yet they will be preaching against tithe.
Malachi 3:8. So if a man says: ‘No tithe’, he should not take offering also’, he should leave the two and see how he will run. You know? People just… when they are not succeeding, they preach nonsense. I know that when you begin to fail, you start preaching all manner of things you like. Check all the people preaching against tithe, they were people who were succeeding and then all of a sudden they didn’t succeed again, so they began to preach. Please, if you want to hear those kinds of preaching, continue. Church Gist. And when you hear that and come and tell me that: ‘Since I didn’t pay tithe see me, I am prospering’. Let me tell you, if you don’t pay tithe and you prosper, her me oo, I’m talking before everybody, except you are getting money from an illegal means, but that God blesses you and you tell me: ‘I’m prospering, listen I don’t pay tithe, I prosper in this Kingdom, I will drop my Bible, I won’t preach by tomorrow. Tell me and say: ‘Sir, I don’t pay tithe but see me I’m very prosperous. That is, you are getting clean money – I don’t mean the one you get from dirty hands, if you get that kind of money, I will drop my Bible, I won’t preach.
Nobody can prosper in this Kingdom without tithing. Did you hear me at all? Eh! I don’t believe in this tithing! You must be getting money from dirty means but clean, God-given money is impossible without tithing. Malachi 3:10. He said: ‘Prove me’ not ‘Pray me’. ‘Prove me’! At that point if I will not open the windows (of Heaven). You know what He was saying? See what He was saying, He said: ‘I’m going to give you ideas’. Church Gist. Opening the windows of Heaven does not mean He will pour money from Heaven, so don’t think that when you pay tithe, money will be dropping in your dream. If in case you see it in your dream, please wake up from sleep (Laughing). ‘The windows of Heaven’ is saying that: ‘I’m going to give you ideas from the Holy Ghost’ and idea is what you use to create wealth, so every tither can never be idea deficient, so what God is saying, once you pay tithe, one of the things you should expect is divine ideas to create wealth.
That’s why Abraham had an idea, Isaac had an idea, Jacob had an idea because they were tithers. That means if you watch me, I am not the most powerful but my ideas are too powerful. At every point, God gives me an answer to every challenge of life. True? Are you getting what I’m saying now? You can know all the principles of business, somebody who may not know much as you will beat you if he is a tither. Church Gist. That is you see some people, they speak all the English, the results don’t match the English they speak because they don’t believe in what God says we should do. Malachi 3:10. Proverbs 10:22. When you are a tither He blesses you, that’s the meaning, it is not physical money, He will bless you and the blessing is what maketh what? Rich and addeth no sorrow.
-May sorrow depart from every tither right now.
Malachi 3:12. You go to anywhere, they say: ‘Oh! You are wonderful’! Some of you, you know the reason why they are driving you? Lack of tithing! You go office, they say: ‘No!! don’t enter this gate oo, don’t enter this gate’! With all the makeup, no man has told you: ‘I love you’, it is… Without tithing you look like demon when you appear. He said: ‘You shall become a delightsome land’. Pan-Cake does not make people fine oo. Listen, that you rub Pan-Cake does not mean you are beautiful, don’t deceive yourself. When somebody carries God’s glory, it is different from when you are rubbing Pan-Cake or what you makeup or whatever you may call it. Even men, the reason why everybody rejects you, you are not tithing. Church Gist. Anywhere you go, they say: ‘Oh boy, no enter here again oo’. You are not delightsome, people hate you, you say: ‘Everybody hates me’. Nobody! Stop binding devil, you are not paying tithe. So no glory on you at all, at all, no glory. ‘They hate me because I dey go Church, it’s a lie’! because you tamper with God’s money. Why did Pharaoh love Joseph? He was a tither, he was a what? Tither. Look! Core sinners when they see me, they say: ‘’Sir, we love you oo’. Pay tithe, you will be surprised, thick sinners will just be admiring you in the office. They say: ‘I love the office anytime you are around’, he is not going to Church oo but he knows your presence. You don’t know that sinners know God’s people more than ordinary people? Tithe, you no go pay, every man you see you go say: ‘Find me money’! Every man, ‘Find me money, find me money’. You know why you are begging? You are not a tither. People should be able to give to you free, no be the one wey you go write note give man wey come Church. What kind of Christian are you? ‘Take this note! Sir, I need to see you after Service’! ‘Na you bring am come Church’? Pay tithe and you shall become delightsome.
-May people delight in you. After this service, people will delight in you! Somebody will remember you for good and favour you.
So, tithing is the bedrock upon which all other covenant givings stand. Are you hearing me now? Other giving without tithing is like trying to build a skyscraper on a bungalow foundation, it will collapse. -The Spirit of the Living God breathes His breath upon that oil in the name of Jesus.

-Psalms 23:5. Now, in the name of Jesus, as this oil touches you, no matter the enemy, you will prosper in their midst. All the days of your life, goodness and mercy will never depart from you!
-In the name of Jesus, as you are anointed today, step into your wealthy place. Isaiah 30:21. The place where God will prosper you. You will hear clearly from today! You will never take a wrong step in the name of Jesus.
-Anywhere your blessing is, after this anointing, God will guide you to that place in the name of Jesus.
-Now, if there be any force, resisting the manifestation of your covenant walk with God, that force is destroyed in the name of Jesus.
Now, listen carefully, when Egypt was going through hardship, Israel prospered in Goshen. It doesn’t matter the nation where you are, including Nigeria, I decree, no matter the hardship in the country where you are, you will prosper in that nation.

If you truly believe God is a covenant keeping God, then why are you afraid of doing what he said you should do?
