TOPIC: ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE
Looking at the words of Jesus Christ in Mark 9:23. So, faith is the answer to all impossibilities. There is nothing called impossible when it comes to faith. Jesus said all things, how many things? So, whatever that is not possible Is a limitation from man not from God. ChurchGist. If we have faith in God’s Word, impossibility cannot be a language in our mouth and I know that before this month is over you will swim in that realm. The possibility is dependent on you and I. Hebrews 11:1-39. My emphasis is on verse 32 and 35. Everything that happened, happened by faith. Faith has the ability to concert the impossibility to possibility. It can convert sickness to health, it can convert poverty to riches. Faith is a spiritual converter; it can turn a dead man back to life. It is the master key to a triumphant living in your Christian adventure, it is the beauty of Christianity.
When you discover the truth and you walk in it, you will triumph without sweat. Hebrews 11: 1-2. You have not seen it but it is evident, you don’t doubt even if you have not seen. ChurchGist. I didn’t become rich when I had money, I became rich the day I discovered the truth that faith rules. I didn’t become prosperous when money entered my pocket, I became prosperous when faith was born. I didn’t see money before I said I am rich, there was no dime in my hand yet I was saying I can’t be poor, I am one of the wealthiest preachers. Say with me: FAITH.
Faith speaks before you see. Faith takes delivery of God’s promises before it gets to your hand physically. Hebrews 11:2. Every good report is a function of faith; without faith you cannot have a good report. It is a converter of bad report to good report and right in this service, somebody’s story will change in the name of Jesus. Good report is a function of faith, it takes faith for all things to be possible. Hebrews 11:6. After we are born again, faith is the next important thing.
Jesus made mention of three most. Most be born again, most work and most have faith. ChurchGist. So, the next thing to do after being born again is to build your faith. He that cometh to God must believe the Bible, that whatever the Bible says and that you believe, he is a rewarder of those who diligently seek from the Bible.
Faith holds the answers to the challenges of life. It has the power to deliver everything that partakes to us in Christ any day, anytime and anywhere. ChurchGist. Two blind men came to Jesus crying. Matthew 9:27-29. These two blind men were crying to Jesus and Jesus did not make any comment. But when they came to him, he asked them do you believe that I am able to heal you? And he said yes lord. Then there was no bible, so they needed to hear him speak. They needed to hear him speak. How many understand the Bible? And he said do you believe I am able to heal you? He said yes Lord. Jesus said in verse 29, be it until you according to your faith.
So, now you have the Word, if you are blind now and you believe it, the blind eyes will open. Because this time you don’t need to hear Jesus speak like he did then. You need to believe the Word, are you getting the difference, this time you don’t hear him speak you hear him via his Word. ChurchGist. So, whatever he says in the Bible and you believe you commit him to perform it. How many of you understand this? We don’t need to hear him speak; we hear him via his Word. So, if I believe any Word from this Book, I commit his integrity to touch me where I need it. So, any impossibility is a function of my faith not in it. Mark 9:23. Glory to God!
Your faith will make things to work, don’t miss the week of spiritual empowerment because we will be talking about faith. The whole week of spiritual empowerment will be on faith. ChurchGist. You can’t prosper without faith. You can’t get healed without faith. You can’t win without faith. If you take away faith your Christianity will die.
You know why many cannot prosper? Giving is not the first requirement for prosperity, it is firstly faith. Because you can’t give without faith, if you give without faith I can tell you, it will not take long you will backslide. ChurchGist. Because there are times the giving will not produce immediately, it took me time before I began to prosper but my faith made me not to panic, I was still giving. If you just give without faith, you will get tired because you will not see the result and your faith will be shaking. But when you have faith, you know that God cannot lie. So, it is your faith that will make you have the assurance that your giving must produce results. But if you don’t have faith, after a while you will start complaining that this thing is not working. You know why you said so? Because you don’t have faith at the foundation of your prosperity. Check all prosperity preachers who are very loaded Copeland, Kenneth Hagin of blessed memories, Oyedepo and myself, faith is our foundation.
You can get money today and I can tell you that if you don’t have faith it will vanish after a while. That will not be your portion. Say with me: there is no impossible case with faith. Luke 8:50. Every time Jesus spoke and the people believed there was a miracle, check your Bible, there is no where Jesus said something and the corresponding to it believed that Jesus will not act. So, if you’ve not seen answers check your faith level. ChurchGist. Everywhere Jesus spoke and the people received the Word they were empowered to become what they received, the moment the man believed the Word he received. Was she made whole? Yes. Right now, I don’t care what is dead in your life, you will be made whole in the name of Jesus. So, faith has the capacity to change any situation. John 11:39-40. Jesus said take away the stone, that means take away unbelief.
If you would believe that Lazarus would come back and the Bible said they believed. I don’t care about anything stinging in your life today God will turn that situation around in the name of Jesus.
You all know the story of Jairus’s daughter and also that of Lazarus, that is how powerful faith is.
What is faith?
I was studying my mentor’s book and I quote this definition verbatim. “Faith is a spiritual currency of inestimable value and holds the same value in all Nations of the Earth”. That is any faith that you have can work anywhere in the world. ChurchGist. The faith that works in America will also work in Nigeria.
Yes, God is the one building the cathedral, what is making the Cathedral to work? Our faith to receive what he has said. There are many things God wants to do in your life but you don’t have the corresponding faith to match them. James 1:6. Faith can access anything that Heaven has in store and faith is a NOW force. Now, faith is… Faith is not a force of the future. Now, faith is …., not faith is to come, now faith is…, faith is not waiting for God to do something, faith is putting God’s Word to work. ChurchGist. To commit his integrity to perform. I am waiting for God is not faith, faith is not that God will do something. Faith is that I believe what God has said and I am committing his integrity to do what he said he will do.
Hear this, the worth of any man’s life is the function of the faith at work in him. The Just shall live by Faith. Habakkuk 2:4. Romans 1:17. Galatians 3:11. Hebrews 10:38.
Now what is faith? Faith has substance. Hebrews 11:1. Faith is not a feeling; faith is the truth; the Word of God. Faith is a concrete tangible force by which we obtain a good report. ChurchGist. May your own good report come. It is a spiritual force that connects that natural with the supernatural. That is what faith is.
HOW TO BUILD YOUR FAITH FOR ALL ROUND POSSIBILITIES.
You don’t wish faith; you build your faith and in building the foundation is important. The foundation of a bungalow building is not the same as the foundation of a 5 storey building. If I want to build 5 storey building the foundation will be very deep. But the foundation for a bungalow might be small. ChurchGist. In villages, most people build without drawing, they just do it verbally. Can you do that with a skyscraper? Except you want to kill people. So, the depth you have determines how far you will go in your Christian adventure. If you want to go very high, the depth of your knowledge in God’s Word will determine how far you go.
Some of us want to use a bungalow foundation to have a skyscraper result. We want to use the faith of Thomas to get Abraham’s result. The foundation you have is that of a bungalow and you’re asking God to give you the results of Abraham. If you build five storey on a bungalow foundation, what will happen? It will crash, so the things you’re asking God for, the foundation is too shallow.
1) GET HOLD OF THE WORD.
If you want faith, get hold of the Word. Romans 10:17. Faith comes by hearing and understanding the Word of God. Revelation of the Word of God shows us our redemptive rights, my faith can’t come if I don’t know what God has offered me. ChurchGist. Why did I say lay hold of the Word? Every redemptive right us in the Bible. Now, I will build my faith when I have discovered what God has said that is my right. You can’t have faith if you’re not a Bible student, it’s impossible there is nothing that can make you have faith if you’re not a Bible student. It’s impossible, you just have to be a student of the Word.
I was sick to the point of death and they prayed for me, great men of God prayed for me and I was still dying and then I sat with the Bible coupled with The Exploits of Faith by my mentor and I saw that “Himself took my infirmities” I saw my redemptive right in Matthew 8:17. That was my redemptive right, but I had to discover it from the Word, so I lay hold of that Word and I said this is my right, I am not permitted to die when Jesus took my infirmities, therefore Satan get out of my life, I can’t die because Jesus took it away. I had Hepatitis that was to kill me. ChurchGist. If I didn’t know my redemptive right there is no way I will lay hold on faith, because there won’t have been anything for me to hold unto to say that Satan take your hands off me. So, you must sit with the Word until you discover the truth otherwise you won’t triumph. How many understand what I am saying?
So, faith is what enforces the delivery of whatever God has said to you. 2nd Corinthians 3:18. Every revelation is actually to reflect a change in levels, when I sit with God’s Word and I have an encounter with the Word my level changes, that is why if you want to build your faith sit with the Bible or sit with anointed books in relevance to the area you want your faith to be built on.
Listen, I wanted prosperity, I sat with the Word and I saw Deuteronomy 8:18. That it is a covenant, he didn’t say fasting and prayer issues, it is a covenant. First and foremost, my faith settles it that I don’t have to fast and pray to be prosperous, I have to walk in the covenant to be prosperous and I discovered that the covenant has to do with seedtime and harvest. Genesis 8:22. When I stop giving then I stop prospering, my faith rose that as long as I am a giver, I cannot be a pauper. ChurchGist. So, I discovered it from God’s Word that my prosperity is not in the hands of government nor any members of the Church, my prosperity is in the hand of God, but it will deliver unto me on a covenant basis when I do my part, so my part is to give, his part is to release the money from whatever source he wants to release it from.
If I didn’t sit with the Word, I won’t discover what belongs to me. Are you getting what I am saying? Many people’s problem is laziness in Christianity. They refuse to sit with the Word of God, yet they want to lay hold of faith which is not possible. ChurchGist. Hebrews 4:2. You said you are hearing the Word but it’s not working. You didn’t mix the Word with faith.
2) Cultivate the Word in your heart. Romans 10:10. Faith is a substance built on the inside. It is with the heart that man believes, you cannot have faith in the heart and fail on the outside. ChurchGist. If there is faith on the inside, every time you’re panicking over any situation just know that the Word of God in your inside is small. If you’re afraid of anything, tell yourself the truth, I don’t have enough Word to sustain me on the inside. At that point build your faith again, because if there is faith in the hearth, it must deliver on the outside. Jeremiah 29:13. Faith in the heart means that you believe that God is right, that what he said he will do, he will do it. Faith is that God whatever you have said is true, I don’t panic over it, no matter the circumstances and I know you will do it.
Faith is simply Numbers 23:19. God is not a man that he should lie. Whatever God has said he will do, he will do it. Listen, don’t be carried away by saying all things are possible rather be determined to build faith in God’s Word and proof through continuous diligent study of the Word.
Listen, when I was sick everybody was afraid that I was going to die. When I looked at my eyes, the first thing that Satan told me was that look at your eyes you will die, because my eyes were yellowish in colour and everything pointed to death. ChurchGist. I knew that I needed to build my faith, so I sat with the Word and I got to a point that I saw that Himself took our infirmities. Matthew 8:17. I said if Jesus took then I can’t have it. My faith rose. So, when he showed me again and said look at your eye, I said shut up, on the inside I was not pretending neither was I shaking, that was how the sickness left. If you’re shaking on the inside then faith is not there, that is why you must cultivate faith.
Do you get scared as to whether you will be poor? Tell me the truth? You say the way the economy is going is like I am going broke soon. Have you ever done that? That means the faith you have for prosperity is low. I don’t ever panic, I don’t talk about money, you know why I have so much faith that I know that I can never be broke. ChurchGist. It is not by what you give to me, it is by the faith I have. Do you understand? So, make sure your heart is stacked with the Word of God. Get materials, because nothing of value is free. Pay the price to build your faith by continuous study of the Word, get materials, get tapes, sit down in the area you want faith to be built. Sit down, when I enter a flight, I am not afraid when the flight will land or not, I have so much faith that the plane will land, I have so much faith that he is with me, he is for me, he is in me. So, I can’t board a flight and not land safely.
I was travelling with my father in the Lord and he said David leave all these people. I have been on board when they announced stuff like this, even the air hostess urinated on her body without knowing. Fear has engulfed them. At that turbulent time that is when I say peace be still. None of us will go through turbulence in the name of Jesus. But please anywhere you’re panicking, the Word you have there is not enough.
