It was a gratitude filled atmosphere on Sunday 27th February 2022 as the Pastor Sarah Omakwu led Family Worship Centre headquartered at Wuye, Abuja dedicated the first branch building owned by the Church. The Church which was founded by Pastor Inalegwu Omakwu by divine direction dedicated its headquarters in 1999.
Since then she remained at Wuye for several years until she launched out in 2010 with her first set of branches including Gwagwalada Branch. At the time the Church started in 2010, only 38 people were attending the headquarters from Gwagwalada.
On Sunday, the Senior Pastor, Pastor Sarah was on hand to minister and inspire the congregation as the Church was filled to the brim. After declaring how happy she was at the ongoing work, she exhibiting her near perfectionist character which She is generally known for, encouraged the leadership and members to finish up the exterior of the building while offering to singlehandedly improve the sound system of the structure.
She stated that she was glad that Pastor Danladi Emmanuel, a Gbagyi indigene was not only the Pastor of the Church but the first to see to the completion of a building by a branch saying it was highly significant to the Church and for those who understood. Family Worship Centre remained in Abuja for a long time until recently due to the vision to make Abuja the most gospel filled capital city in the world.
Pastor Sarah was glad that the Church was filled to the brim indicating the need for multiple services as soon as possible. Thereafter the cake cutting session was conducted after which the cake was shared while Pastor Omakwu was taken round the Church building.
