PRAISE FOR VICTORY MUST BE SACRIFICIAL IF IT MUST BE BENEFICIAL.

TOPIC: PRAISE FOR SUPERNATURAL VICTORY (1)
All round victory is possible. Mark 9:23. Supernatural victory is possible, say with me it’s possible, we are born to be victorious you and I. 1st Corinthians 15:57. Victory is sure. God cannot be defeated and if you identify with him, then you can’t be defeated. Say with me: I can’t be defeated, from today you will never suffer defeat anymore, the last defeat you ever suffered will be the last.
WHAT IS PRAISE?
Praise is magnifying and glorifying the greatness of God in singing, dancing and clapping. ChurchGist. It is acknowledging the undefeatable greatness and mighty hands of God in songs and with a Joyful heart.
Praise is simply the high rating of God for who he is.
WHAT IS SUPERNATURAL?
Supernatural is simply beyond the natural, something beyond the natural, superior to the natural.
WHAT IS VICTORY?
Victory is simply an act of triumph over an enemy. It is achieving mastery or success against all odds.
WHAT IS PRAISE FOR SUPERNATURAL VICTORY?
Supernatural victory is magnifying the greatness of God upon your life in songs and with a Joyful heart, which has made you triumph over the enemy and life’s limitations. ChurchGist. It is a Kingdom mystery that delivers unlimited power in praise that guarantees all triumph in all facets of life and you will have the victory after today.
It is in God’s nature to see you and I enjoy victory. You can’t give God praise and be defeated in life. Battles of life are real but your victory is equally real and established. 1st Corinthians 15:57. Hear this people of God, our victory is not in our strength, for by strength shall no man prevail. 1st Samuel 2: 9b.
Fighting a spiritual battle with a physical weapon is a waste of energy and you can be a victim because you don’t fight witches with punch, you handle spiritual battles with physical weapons because Satan cannot be seen with the microscope. Ephesians 6:12. You are not wrestling against physical things.
Praise is a God given weapon to humiliate the devil. The realm of praise is a realm of no defeat but continuous victory.
Examples of striking victory that took place at the instant of praise in the Scripture.
1) Judah’s victory over three Nations. It was the praise of Judah that provoked God to take over the battle and give them victory. 2nd Chronicles 20:1-4, 12-17, 22-24. They were so many against a Nation, one small tribe. Say with me: I will ask for the help of the Lord. ChurchGist. When you don’t know what else to do, there is one more thing to do and that is to praise. There are battles in your life that are beyond you that you need only God, at that point the biggest weapon to use is praise. Praise looks simple but it’s very powerful. It’s one of the weapons highly ignored by Christians, but it is one of the most potent weapons in the hand of a believer to overcome the devil. Praise looks so simple, because you don’t pay too much price. Some people can fast for 40 days and they will never praise God for one day. 40 days fasting without the Word of God and prayers backed with the Word is Spiritual fatigued, you just exercised in futility, you can pray amiss but you can’t praise amiss.
Praise does not need any special qualification, it is just to sing. I can tell you men don’t take it serious, they take it lightly, they tell you that I have been singing since I was born, you have to understand what singing is. If you sing without understanding you are only having fun. ChurchGist. But I am sure today you will have a result. Say with me: I will hand over my battle to God. There are people who fight to win and there are people who don’t fight yet they win, which one do you prefer, when you fight to win they can punch you, even if you win. Do you prefer not to fight? Then you need to praise.
2nd Chronicles 20: 22-24. Nothing happened until they began to sing. No matter the gathering against us, they will go down as I am talking in the name of Jesus. The enemies began to fight each other. Our enemies will fight themselves, anyone who is an enemy to you and I will fight themselves. ChurchGist. None of our enemies will escape, say with me: None of my enemies will escape, they will fight themselves and destroy themselves.
Praise is very powerful, it gives you supernatural victory over the enemy and his works. Hear this, long ago somebody in power was out to fight this Church, it was a fierce battle, very fierce and he said they should bring down this building, he said they should bring it down. ChurchGist. He gave an order that this Church should be brought down. Now, in that kind of battle where the man was at the helm of affairs, we sent a note to him. He said no way, go and bring it down and it was not that they were joking, they came with a bulldozer to bring the building down. This happened physically not in the dream, they were coming with the bulldozer, when the bulldozer got to the roundabout, the engine went off, I didn’t know and so they didn’t come.
The military men came with arms and stood here shouting and I heard them from my office. So, I came down and I pointed my finger at the Commissioner and I said if you touch one block here and all of you remain alive till tomorrow then I am not called by God. ChurchGist. They all looked at me and they retreated back, who is this man without Gun who will be talking to them like that. I told them that if you touch this block and you don’t die come tomorrow morning then I am not called, at that time I was fierce and the man did not stop there, he was still threatening to bring it down and we went on to Praise, midnight heavy praise, the moment the praise ended, the following day they began to shoot in Port Harcourt, when I mean shooting, that kind of shooting has not happened before in Port Harcourt. They were shouting towards where the man was staying. ChurchGist. You want to know where? They were shooting and so he was trying to escape for his life, these militants were shooting, it was as if there was a Civil war.
The military was shooting and the militants were also shooting. You know when God has taken over the fight, you know nothing can stop it, at that point the hand of God has left. So, the man himself ran away, everybody was running for their lives, we were watching. ChurchGist. The enemies were fighting each other. The man left us alone, that was how we won. Everyone planning to fight us, they will fight themselves. I don’t think anybody knew that it was praise that made that thing happen. At that point he had to face the one that was before him, he left us alone. That’s what God does, all negative gathering against you and I, I decree that they will fight themselves.
2) The fall of the wall of Jericho. Joshua 6:20. There was a great wall. Usually 7 horses will stand side by side on that wall. That was the thickness of the wall. They didn’t go with bulldozers, they went with praise. God gave them a prescription, when you describe your problem to God he will give you a prescription, you follow the prescription to overcome the situation. When they gave God a heartfelt praise, God in his Majesty brought down the wall flat. The wall was so thick that if the wall fell down the wall would still have been there. But it sank, because that kind of wall if it just fell, you won’t be able to climb the debris. ChurchGist. What God did was to sink it for them to walk straight. When you read the Bible, read it with the Holy Spirit. For them to walk straight, it means they didn’t climb the wall. Just imagine any wall falling, the debris will still be there but the wall sank. Today every obstacle to your breakthrough will go down.
When you switch over to praise, whatever that is denying you access to your blessing they crumble, praise is a potent spiritual instrument in spiritual battle, that when you engage in it, you are sure of it. It is a perfect way to victory. Hear this God’s ways are higher than our ways, they are superior to man’s ways. So, don’t try to analyse how God is going to do it, that is not your business. Isaiah 55:8-9. The ways of God are reliable, dependable and they’re trustworthy. His ways are perfect, no demonic device can fall his ways. Psalm 18:30. You cannot follow God’s way and not make waves in life. ChurchGist. You cannot follow his way and not command victory, all the obstacles, death and attack that satan has gang up will go down today, as you praise God today all the plan of the devil and his agent to attack Salvation Ministries, you and I they will begin to fight themselves in Jesus name.
HOW TO ENGAGE IN VICTORY PRAISE
A) See the enemy has been defeated. With the eye of faith see that opposition as too small. Pattern your thoughts in line with God’s Word and see the challenge as something you have overcome already. ChurchGist. Proverbs 23:7. What you think determines what happens to your life, if you think that the enemy is too big then you would not be able to defeat him. If you want God to fight for you, see the enemy and the challenges as too small. That was the kind of mindset that David had. 1st Samuel 17:32,45,46. Before the fight David had a winning mindset.
He already defeated him from his mindset. So, don’t praise without having the mindset that God is too big for this thing to stand before me, I will bring it down. It’s not just dancing, have the mindset that the challenge must go down today and today it will go down. Shout the loudest amen if you believe. ChurchGist. Because your mind will determine what God will set before you, don’t praise God anyhow, look at that issue and commonise it. Don’t magnify the devil. Don’t make the devil look like he is too big. No, God is to be magnified, the devil is to be reduced. Make him look too small. You will never hear the devil in my mouth, never. I don’t talk about the devil, he is not important. Ask me why? The Bible says he is under your feet. Romans 16:20. How can I be talking about someone under me? You will never hear me talking about the Devil. He is not important. David commonise Goliath, he called him an uncircumcised Philistine, I am going to bring your head down. So, when you’re praising God, have it in your mind that the situation must come down. Don’t start crying about the village witches after you. Bring them down. Are you getting what I am saying? Because anything you magnify, you have already made it big. Some people say the reason why we are not prospering is because of all those wicked men in our family. Use praise as a weapon to bring the wicked men down. You’re saying we would have progressed in life if not for that Ogboni man. Why not neutralise his powers.
B) Trust in God. When you trust in God then victory is sure. 1st Samuel 17:45-47. David’s trust was in God. Psalm 56:12b. You must understand that the battle is the Lord’s. For God to be involved you must have absolute confidence in him that God you’re the one who will take over this battle. God takes over this battle, I am tired, go ahead and fight it for me, that confidence will make God fight and when God fights the battle is over. ChurchGist. From today God will take over the battle and the battle will be over.
C) Avoid fear. In victory praise avoid fear, you must never yield to fear. 2nd Chronicles 20:15,17. Fear can terrify any christian. You can never be terrorised until you’re terrified with fear.
Relax my friend, the battle is not yours, tell your neighbour to relax. Fear will stop the Hand of God from executing vengeance against your enemy and grant you the desired victory. ChurchGist. No matter the opposition, have no fear. God is too big to be intimidated by that challenge, he is on your side. Stir him up in praise and refuse to be intimidated. The Goliath you’re afraid of is already afraid of you.
Goliath is a descriptive name, that word Goliath means giants. Some of you your giant is debt, you’re owing to a point that you’re afraid that they will kill you. Even when you’re sleeping you don’t sleep well, there is a way you can owe that you won’t have peace of mind. Don’t be afraid God will take care of it. ChurchGist. If people are planning to attack you, relax yourself, God has done so much for you to be afraid. Today, you will emerge victorious.
D) Recall previous victories. Look at David, he recalled his previous victories of killing the Bear and the Lion. When you want this kind of praise to give a victorious result, recall previous victories. 1st Samuel 17:36-37. God you have done it in the past, you will do it again. He recalled and said God you have done with before and you will do it again. ChurchGist. Even if God has not done it in your life, he has done it in somebody’s life . If you can’t see, take a look at the Word of God. God you did it in the life of Jehoshaphat victory, he gave the Children of Israel victory he will give me victory. Recall previous victory. Shout Hallelujah!!
David reminded God with it, he will give you your own victory. So, remind God of previous victory if you just remain a Victor. 2nd Chronicles 20:7. As we remind God of what he has done while we praise him we will provoke him to make us victorious.
E) Give God a sacrifice of praise. Praise for victory must be sacrificial if it must be beneficial.
Hebrews 13:15. Sacrificial praise makes you go the extra mile, going extra mile in praise makes God go extra mile in giving you victory. These kinds of praise you don’t do it stylishly if you desire victory. Give him a heart felt sacrificial praise. ChurchGist. Please, this kind of praise is not the one you do lackadaisically, you do it sacrificially. You will dance your best dance, you will spin around like never before and say oh God of Heaven, you did it for Jehoshaphat, you did it for the children of Israel, you brought down Goliath.
Today, every gang up, every thing standing on my progress path gives me victory over them. Those obstacles that have refused to move before me, who art thou oh mountain before Zerubabell, thou shall become plain. How do you stir the Spirit of God? Through praise. You don’t just quote scripture, you need to understand it. God inhabits the praises of his people. So, the Spirit is available 24/7. Now I want to stir him into action, I am praising him for him to move the mountain and Jericho wall before me. So, in every obstacle even if it is demonic they can’t stand the presence of God. It is not just dancing. It is in the understanding if what you’re doing are you hearing me. How many will give God a heart feltpraise?
