Tonight shall be a most memorable night for every one of us!
It shall be a night to be much remembered!
It shall be yet another major turning point in our spiritual life!
Tonight will open up new chapters to every one of us!
The heavenly verdict of “I will do a new thing” will be established in our life tonight in the precious name of Jesus!
Spiritual virtues are real. They are not make ups but whatever is genuine has counterfeit. You can’t have the real one and not know. You can’t hold the real currency and not know. Spiritual virtues are real and they are transferrable. Tonight something out of this world will take place in your life! Church Gist. The mystery behind transference of grace is access into what you have not laboured for. John 4:38. It’s an access of grace into realms of grace. There’s going to be such an entrance for everyone tonight around the world whose heart is set for this once in a lifetime encounter with God.
Hagin laboured and I entered into his labour. I didn’t know where they got the baton from but he gave it to me. Please look at me well: Everything any man has is as it has been given to him. It’s only those who have received that can also give to others. Church Gist. You can’t teach others in school except you have been taught. You are first taught then you can teach others. There’s nothing anybody has but such as been given to him. So tonight, what you are receiving, they are as I have received them. So open your heart and take your portion in the name of Jesus.
While getting ready for this meeting I heard a Word very strong, “Congratulations!” I say, Congratulations. I am asked to tell you from Scriptures that you have been redeemed as a creature of value. There was joy in Heaven the day you gave your life to Jesus. You have such a value that all the wealth of the world put together does not compare with your value in the sight of God. Church Gist. Matthew 16:26. I say Congratulations because you’re a creature of value. Luke 15:7. You are significant to the body of Christ. Every member of the body of a man is significant. Until one of them is off function before you know its value.
Humorously, I had my finger nail cut sometimes this week and I wanted to pick a pen. It was difficult. I thought it was my finger picking the pen but it was my nail picking the pen. You can’t pick the pen without your nails. Finger nails. I once had an attack of whitlow on one of my fingers then I knew that there is a finger that is principal to writing. When that finger goes off … Every part of the human body is significant so every member of the body of Christ is significant. Church Gist. Every part has what to supply to keep the body growing. Ephesians 4:16. Every part of a lion carries the royalty and the dignity of a lion. You don’t step on the toe or the tail of a lion and say, “I am not stepping on the lion; it’s only on the tail.” So every part of the Lion of the tribe of Judah carries the dignity and the royalty of the Lion.
Without a revelation of redemptive esteem you stand to be cheated in life, to be robbed of what belongs to you. Romans 12:4. You have a treasure within you with enough potential to create a future and secure eternity. Church Gist. 2 Corinthians 4:7. It’s just for people to recognize those things and begin to engage with them. You have within you what it takes to be the envy of your world and we are the children of promise. Genesis 26:13-14. We are redeemed to be envied not to be pitied. The days of pity are over in your life!
Every calling in the Kingdom is a high calling. Church Gist. So every member of the body of Christ has a high calling in Christ. All things that make for life and godliness are embedded in that calling. 2 Peter 1:3; Philippians 3:14.
What makes that a high calling?
1. Every child of God is redeemed to be an ambassador of Heaven on Earth, an ambassador for Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:19-20. Am ambassadorial calling is the highest calling of any citizen living in another country. All the honour, dignity and immunity of his nation is accorded him. John 3:12. Church Gist. To be an ambassador of Heaven is to bear the mark of Heaven on the Earth. All we need to do is define what is it then that makes an ambassador for Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:17-20. Every child of God came down with a calling. The day you were born, your call into that office came along with you. 2 Corinthians 5:17-18. We are born with it, you don’t develop into it. It’s part of your new birth package. If you check through Scriptures you find those who met with Jesus on the spot. Church Gist. They start representing him. John 1:35-50; John 4:29, 39, 41. This ambassadorial calling came with our encounter with Christ.
At new birth, you’re enlisted as an ambassador for Christ if you will care to take responsibility. Thank God for the Holy Ghost, we don’t play down on him but I can tell you this: Your new birth came along with a calling, a Ministry, it’s called the ministry of reconciliation, so your dragging is an attempt of the devil to disconnect you from what it carries. Church Gist. Proverbs 11:30. He doesn’t want you to inherit glory, he’s a robber. The Bible calls him a thief, he’s a capital thief, he has no other job. He robs people in transit – the thing is not in your hand, he has scuttled you on the way. Church Gist. We have been redeemed as a star but the only platform that guarantees your emergence as a star is this ambassadorial task. Daniel 12:3. So, the subject of soul winning is not a special calling, it’s everybody’s calling. Church Gist. I led a village to Christ without being baptized in the Holy Ghost. It came down with salvation. Built a Church for Jesus within 72 days, what are you carrying the Holy Ghost about for? Church Gist. You don’t take responsibility, you end up a liability.
Every member of the body of Christ has something to supply to keep the body going. Church Gist. Maybe for one reason or the other, old age and other related issues, you cannot go out after souls but you can pray on in your prayer closet and pack souls into the Kingdom and see them established in the Faith and pray for new converts in the Church. Church Gist. Our new converts of the members of the Church that are on the go for Christ that they be established in the Faith. You can’t go out but you can pray on. Now listen, anybody who can eat can pray. If you can pray for daily bread, you can pray for Kingdom come. It’s where your heart is that determines what you do. It’s not just sit down decoratedly and wear 5-piece coat, that’s not the issue. Church Gist. You don’t get regarded for what you wear, it’s the fruits you bear. You may wear same uniform like me, that’s okay, what is important is, where are you standing? Now, you cannot go preaching but you can go inviting. Anyone who can invite anybody for his birthday can invite anyone to Christ. Isn’t that simple? Including children. Church Gist. It’s where one’s heart is that determines what he does. You pray to pack souls into the Kingdom, you won’t pray, you go out to win souls, you won’t win, you invite people who come your way, you won’t invite. Everybody has a part to play, nobody can play your part for you. You can’t be rewarded for the part of another man. Church Gist. You’re a creature of value, don’t devalue yourself. Step into your realm of exemption as an ambassador of Heaven on the earth by engaging in the ambassadorial task of reconciling the world back to God, in whichever way. You’re not inviting people, you’re bringing people to Church, sponsoring their coming and going back while they need it. Church Gist. You’re involved in helping the challenge among the brethren so they don’t get crushed by the weight of their challenges. But to sit down and be watching, there’s nothing in doing nothing. Wake up! Ephesians 5:14. The devil is contending your destiny, don’t let him have it.
Serving God and the interest of His Kingdom is a covenant platform for realizing our enviable potentials in redemption. Matthew 6:33. Luke 22:29. Church Gist. Giving God and the interest of His Kingdom the first place in one’s life is key to a most enriching, empowering and fruitful adventure on the earth. Elijah said, “make for me first”. 1 Kings 17:8-15. The widow of Zarephath and as she did, she was feeding fat in the midst of famine for 3 and half years. Awesome God. Now, we had Simon in his frustrated state, Jesus said, “I know you’re frustrated, let me have your boat for more frustration” and he let him have his boat and that was the turning point of his destiny. Church Gist. Giving God the first place in spite of your state of being is the key to a most empowering and fulfilling adventure in the Kingdom. You cannot have God at the centre of your heart and miss your marks in the journey of life.
We all carry redemptive potentials to be enthroned both in the now and hereafter through Kingdom advancement stewardship. Acts 26:22. 2 Timothy 4:7-8. Matthew 24:14. Church Gist. So everyone who loves that appearing and is a partaker of advancing the frontiers of the gospel has a crown in waiting. So, whatever secures the now and guarantees the future is wisdom to invest. In the parable of the talent, that household that gave one pound each to his servants and we all know the story, only two emerged rulers by engaging with those talents. Church Gist. One made ten talents, the other one made 5 talents more, they were made rulers over 10 cities and 5 cities, respectively. One buried his own and you know what happened to him. 7 others absconded and disappeared from the scene, we can’t tell where they went, they just left. That implies that only 20% had value for the treasure they were given. Now, we have that parable repeated again but in a larger form this time. Church Gist. This household that gave talents to every of his servants according to their several abilities. Matthew 25:14-15. Everyone was given. Again, we have only record of two, we don’t know how many they are, that made anything out of it.
– may you make something out of it!
Can I tell you this? It will help your life. Every genuine passion for God entitles believers for encounter. It is a platform for encounter with destiny. Church Gist. 1973, I encountered destiny. “The light you brought to our village, let it shine round the world”. 1987, I had an awesome encounter of the walking step of the Master, I believe. I was watching Archbishop Benson Idahosa’s crusade at Ibadan stadium, 1985 and I saw afflicted people in their rows, they were carrying on the back from morning for an evening crusade. Church Gist. I put up the light in my room and I said, “Jesus, engrace me to be a part of the solution to this afflicted masses” and I heard the walking steps of the Master loud on the carpet. Instead of being afraid, I was filled with awe. Then He walked to my back, He was coming from my back and put His hand on me, “Power”. Listen to me, something like warm water went down my spine, I didn’t fall oh, all these falling. Church Gist. People need to get down to realities, people do a lot of nonsense in terms of religion. How many times did people fall under Jesus? So, where’s your anointing? People just play all kinds of things. He could do anything once at any time but don’t mechanize it. I didn’t fall. Power erupted. I got to Church on Sunday morning, it was a Saturday, power, fire. It culminated in what we called Pentecost Flames, 7 days of power demonstration. Church Gist. A hole in the skull was filled. Passion for God. I said, “Jesus, I mustn’t leave this place the way I met it”. Passion for God will always culminate in an encounter. Elijah said, “I’ve been very jealous for you”, He said, “I know. Now, go and stand by that cave and I will talk to you”. Are you jealous for God or jealous for things? I’ve been on quite a number of notable prayer episodes – on the mountains, in the woods, I cannot remember one that I went for myself. “Oh God of Heaven, remember David for a house. David is already becoming old, he needs a house”. Church Gist. Passion for God would always culminate in an encounter. You can miss an encounter with passion. Passion God would always culminate in a genuine encounter that you’re not in doubt of.
– somebody’s story is changing.
– all that is needed to make the most of this season, God will pass it on to us tonight!
The choice to engage or trade off the treasure of stewardship is left to us as individuals. Joshua 24:15. Daniel 11:32. Church Gist. When we do what God says to do, we have committed Him to do what He says He will do. But when God is out of the equation in one’s life, frustration naturally sets in. Don’t get God out of the equation of your life, it will equal to zero. Get him there. John 15:15. Romans 9:16. Church Gist. To get God out of one’s equation in life is to subscribe to frustration, depression and whatever happens next. 1 Samuel 2:9.
A genuine heart for God is the anchor of every great destiny in the Kingdom. When God occupies the central stage of a man’s life, all things begin to work together for his good. Romans 8:28. Church Gist. The day is coming when the difference would be clear between those who are serving God and those who are not.
– may you fall on the positive side of it!

One great mystery about the Kingdom is whatever you see working as it were on its own accord is called grace. Church Gist. The free gift of God to which everyone in the household of God has access.
– my prayer is that your heart for God will come on the auto frequency where serving God will become a subject of utmost delight. Where you will never feel any strain or stress serving Jesus. Receive that tonight in the name of Jesus!
Some spiritual virtues required for relevance and impact in this endtime. Recognize that spiritual gifts are impartable. Romans 1:11. In the same manner, Divine engracement are transferrable. Philippians 1:7. Church Gist. Let’s look at 7 spiritual gifts ordained for our establishment in these last days. Can I tell you why you need it? 1 Timothy 4:1. There’s a scheme in the agenda of the devil to cause many to depart and we can see many are departing now. They are departing from the ways and falling to all kinds of nonsense heresies here and there. Church Gist. So, we need to locate the forces of establishment that would keep us going. When a thousand falls at your side and 10,000, you won’t be moved, you’re just on key walking with Jesus.
I have come across several doctrines in my journey, you know it’s not a yesterday’s journey, 44 years ago and I have seen quite a number of people swept away because the forces of establishment were not inherent in them. Church Gist. Now, let’s look at a few of them and that would keep us going because every object, they say, would assume a state of rest until a force is applied on it. You can’t be there when you can be tossed here and there, you need where you can be established and keep going no matter what goes on on the earth.
1. The Spirit of Faith.
It’s going to be one of the major areas of attack of the devil in this endtime. Luke 18:8. Faith is under attack, it’s being watered down. People are mistaking mental consent for Faith. Church Gist. Faith is now means of getting intellectual appraisal, “let’s calm down and reason”. What you think is your cup of tea, whatever God says in His Word is final, non-negotiable, no room for review. Luke 22:31-32. The only way to secure our place is to receive the endowment of the spirit of Faith which gives capacity to believe all things. Acts 24:14. The spirit of Faith empowers believers to believe all things. Church Gist. While the principle of Faith is looking for Scriptures to help people, the spirit of Faith dash him, makes incredible moves, speaks unspeakable words and dare undarable things. Hebrews 11:29. It takes the Spirit of Faith to cow the devil from shifting you from your ground. The main feature is the capacity to believe whatever God says and when you believe, He stretches forth His hand to perform. Church Gist. The Bible calls unbelief, “the evil heart of unbelief”, it’s to rob you of what belongs to you. It goes to defile and corrupt your heart against Faith. Isaiah 59:19. So, when unbelief would come like a flood, the spirit of Faith will come against him and bring him down. Everybody needs the spirit of Faith to survive and thrive in this endtime. 2 Corinthians 4:13. There’s no new modern Faith, it’s the same spirit of Faith, we have the same spirit of Faith. Jude 1:3. Church Gist. The fiery fire-subduing Faith, the lion mouth-shutting Faith, the Red Sea-crossing Faith. The same Faith. In 1986, I received the mantle for the spirit of Faith, 2023, it’s still working like fire. I have natural capacity by that impartation to believe all things. Church Gist. So I could believe in God that we would build this place in one year as if I had no technical knowledge. I believed it, technical knowledge, nonsense. God said one year, one year is one year.
– tonight, somebody would return with the virtue of the spirit of Faith!
– such as I have received, I release unto you in the name of Jesus!
It’s an ever winning force, never return defeated from a battle. Hebrews 11:33-34. Faith never returns defeated from battle. Church Gist. Therefore, your endowment with the spirit of Faith marks the end of the era of defeats in your life.
Ephesians 6:16. A genuine crave and desperation is a fundamental requirement for every encounter with power. 2 Kings 2:4-10. Stay focused. Church Gist. Something is dropping in your life tonight that will change your level of Spiritual command forever!
2. The Spirit of power: Psalm 110:1-3. There is a day in God’s agenda called the day of his power. You know why? The wicked is out to do more wickedly because his time is short. The only language the enemy recognizes is the language of power – raw demonstration of power. The devil is on the loose. Church Gist. He is out to do more wickedly than ever because his time is very short. Revelation 12. So God has ordained an era of raw demonstration of power in his body to place a check on the devil. Romans 8:19. We are the last hope of the world and it is the demonstration of power that will give us that place. Can anybody take this place they call, Canaanland through teachings and revelations? Raw demonstration of power! Natives don’t go through here. There are certain things in your life that until you access this power realm they won’t bow. Church Gist. Because I got that privilege to receive it and I have a commandment to freely release it, therefore receive tonight a fresh enduement with the spirit of power! It will keep every devil off your territory.
But power is in levels. It’s not once empowered, always empowered. You have to know what it takes to sustain and grow the power and the forces most relevant here is prayer and fasting and searching of Scriptures. Church Gist. The fire is burning but it requires wood to keep burning. So you keep casting wood into the fire – the Word of God. You keep fanning the fire by prayers. You keep growing the power by fasting. There is no power station in the world that they don’t service.
We have a power station down here and it’s a lot of things servicing them. To keep the power powering, you must keep servicing. Now you have a treasure, you bought a new car. Won’t you service it? “My car is new, my car is new” it will just crack. Church Gist. Every day it is getting older and you don’t know? You keep cruising about, you just get on Lagos highway, Lagos – Ibadan highway and the car just says, “I’m not going anywhere again. Do your worst.” You say, “my car my car?” It says, “yes, your service your service.”
Luke 4:14; Exodus 34:30. The altar of prayer and fasting is an altar of renewal of power. It should not be seen as a punishment or Church program, it is a power renewal platform. Church Gist. Too many things going on today, lot of junks, people are teaching all kind of things, there is no power to validate what they teach. John 10:37. Those theories won’t fly for long. You just have to clap and by the time there is no hand to clap again, they stop. Wake up!
We service the power engine of this Church every week. You don’t wait for the engine oil to lose its viscosity. It will crack – and every month, 3 days to check all the nozzles, plugs, be sure that it is okay. Don’t wait to be grounded before you take responsibility. Church Gist. This power is likened to oil. If it’s for a lamp, the lamp keeps burning, the oil keeps going down. You have to keep filling it up. If it’s for your engine, you have to check it at a time otherwise the engine will crack.
– The grace for renewal of strength by waiting on the Lord, receive it now in the name of Jesus!
