CHURCH OF THE WEEK
On the 13th of December, 2003, the world saw the birth of the great change agent – The Harvesters dream; a divine vision, given to Pastor Bolaji Idowu.
Harvesters International Christian Center commenced on 14th December 2003 with 35 members. The vision of the Church was given to Pastor Bolaji Idowu by God clearly stating, “the harvest is ripe and getting ready to decay; go therefore and harvest it” (Matthew 9:37-38). It is located at Plots 5-7 Gbagada Oshodi Expressway Gbagada, Lagos, 100234.
Over the years, proving that with faith, determination, focus and the right team, anything is possible, what started with just a roomful of people has grown to be the most desirable place of worship. With over 10 locations across Nigeria (7), the United Kingdom and the United States of America, Harvesters attracts over 80,000 worshippers over 4 services across all her (on-site) and over 600,000 online.
Pastor Bolaji Idowu is a dynamic leader and speaker, a life coach, a change leader and the convener of the “Next Level Prayers”. He believes in the potency of God’s word and the power of prayer. His teachings pointedly help to groom the next generation for impactful leadership through the campus ministries, growing alongside, the current ministry leaders for relevant impact. For two decades, Pastor Bolaji Idowu has been a part of the current charismatic wave of transformation in Nigeria.
Pastor Bolaji started his ministry while he was studying Accounting at University of Lagos. His ministry is influenced by his mentor, Pastor Sam Adeyemi. The Harvesters vision is “Reaching out with an inflamed passion to bring the unchurched to Jesus through the agency of The Word and the Holy Spirit” and to Change lives.
Pastor Bolaji also frequently teaches on faith and he readily ministers healing to the oppressed and afflicted with signs and testimonies following. He is married to Mrs Omowunmi and their union is blessed with 3 boys.

Her beliefs:
- Our life is not about us, we are custodians of this life and everything we have.
- Life is best lived and has unprecedented rewards when it is used to achieve divine purpose of winning souls, serving God and humanity.
- There is nothing more valuable to God than human life. Hence, this is a church that is all about the people.
- The anointed word of God is the most powerful force in this world and the key to transformation and answer to all questions.
- It is normal for every Christian to pursue full devotion to Christ, His word and His cause.
