Please this is a very sensitive moment, we will be looking at HOW TO WIN THE WAR BETWEEN SICKNESS AND DISEASES. My elders hear me, ‘You are too young to die’! Church Gist. Elders, you can’t die now! If we are telling the elders, ‘You can’t die now’ then any young person that is thinking of death, I suspend it and I cancel it!
Bishop Oyedepo was sharing a few weeks ago of a woman that is about a hundred years old who came to the altar to share testimonies, they didn’t carry her, 100 years! She stood on the altar by herself. She still goes for evangelism, she shares 1000 handbills every day. 100 years! If 100 years old can still stand. Church Gist. You are just 26 years old, you can’t stand during testimony time, ‘you don go look for seat there’. At 26! at 42 years old! The 100 years old woman climbed the altar to take her turn.
-Prayer: Between now and when you will hit 100 years old, you will be the strongest person in your father’s house! Amen! You shall live and not die!
There is one war that is stronger than all the wars put together in this world. It is the war against sickness and disease! When this war hits you, you don’t need to be faced with a war! Church Gist. This war can hit you and finish you without making any noise, without a gunshot or bullet! The war against sickness can wipe an entire race but in the midst of this war, God has told us that in the midst of war, you must know His wish- to prosper even as your soul prospereth 3 John 2:3.
God’s wish for you is to be healthy and wealthy! Only the elders still said, ‘Amen’! Only a few people have been able to command these both packages. Some are wealthy, but they are using the wealth to manage their health- to fight sickness and disease! Church Gist. Some are healthy but they don’t have the wealth to enjoy the health! They are wealthy but not healthy while some are healthy but are not wealthy!
Anywhere that you see these two packages, it is not luck, it is Light! Can I make a declaration?
-Prayer: I speak to everyone under the sound of my voice, may you be healthy and wealthy!
So they are two unbeatable packages! You don’t take one and leave the other! I don’t need to learn it from anywhere, when I say, put your two hands on your head, it came from within Psalms 133:1-3. You came to this earth with your head, so anytime I want to speak into your life, I speak to your head!
-Prayer: Your head will never fight prayer and prophecies again. With your two hands on your head, I declare that you are wealthy and healthy! Every sickness and disease in your body dies now!
If you don’t settle it now, you will be fighting sickness in your old age, if you don’t settle it now, you will be growing weak as you grow old. Church Gist. The woman who clocks 100 years old, is she not in Nigeria? Where was all the sickness that killed all her age group? Why can’t those sickness kill her? That’s what we are telling you now!
How then do I win this war against sickness and disease?
1.Understand that sickness is a spirit and can only be handled from a Spiritual perspective! Luke 13:10-11
-Prayer: For everyone under the sound of my voice, everywhere they are cooking sickness for your body, may that sickness swallow the chef!
So I need to tell you that I am a teacher, I don’t do Deliverance, I don’t do Miracle! We teach in this Church! Church Gist. It’s good to teach! But any teaching that cannot metamorphose to touching, is not the real teaching! The real teaching will start with teaching and then, it will end with touching! You will teach them and touch them!
-Prayer: Under this teaching, may God touch you where you need it, Amen! I don’t know the number of years that you have been sick, but I speak today! That sickness must expire from the Spiritual perspective, Amen!
Your sickness might have lasted but it is not unto everlasting! Church Gist. Behind every sickness is a spirit but until the spirit is addressed, the spirit cannot be arrested!
-Prayer: So I declare over your life, everything that represents sickness, I arrest them from the Spirit! Amen!
Second Service parishioners, own your service well! Say your Amen well! Some people have come to the first service, received teaching from the Word and prayers, took the communion, did everything well and then, they left! Some of you came when the first service was over, and in the end, you now entered the second service and, you can’t participate very well, you are still distracted! Church Gist. You may miss the two dimensions. You may miss the first and the second service if you are not concentrating.
-Prayer: I pray for every person that is focused, whatever gives you a weekly, seasonal, monthly and yearly sickness. Let it expire from the root! Let the spirit of sickness die!
2.Understand that there is a connection between iniquity and infirmity Psalm 119:67. Church Gist. Anywhere you see affliction, a transgression has been broken.
-Prayer: Anything making you to go astray for you to be vulnerable and afflicted, I declare that you are delivered now! Amen!
Anywhere there is iniquity, there must be infirmity Hosea 7:1. Iniquity is the strength of infirmity! Infirmity cannot bow until iniquity bows!
Hear me very well! Iniquity is the destroyer of immunity! Anywhere iniquity prevails, there can’t be immunity against infirmity!
-Prayer: Anything that you do that is fighting your body, I curse it from the root!
- Understand that there is a Spirit in the Word of God that can destroy every sickness and disease in this world John 6:63. You know why some of us don’t fall sick like you? It is because we hear the Word everyday. Church Gist. Ask my personal assistant, he will tell you that when he came I was still playing the message of Bishop Oyedepo on my phone. I started playing it last night, it was still turned on till I woke up and it was still playing till I came to the Church this morning.
We live in a wicked world, the devil is working and fighting everyday, you must be hearing Messages regularly. The media team and room is there filled with all the Messages. Church Gist. Sometimes we tell you to take the Sermons without playing, just take your phone to the media team, let them transfer it. You won’t take it.
They enter your car, demons have infected your car. Everywhere in your car is ‘jogolo-jogolo spirit- spirits of satanic and demonic worldly songs’. Your car is contaminated! Church Gist. You enter, ‘You must fall sick, you enter, they must attack you’. All those incidents are the demons that you play as music.
Sanctify your atmosphere and surroundings! While Peter spoke the Word, the Spirit of health and of strength entered into the people Acts 10:44. Every sickness is a spirit that can only bow to the Spirit in the Word! Never forget, Ezekiel 2:2.
Stand to your feet, I want to do something now! Sit down for one minute, if I tell you to stand, please stand up immediately!
-Prayer: Any sickness that is sitting with you now, as you stand, the sickness will never remain with you!
I have been reading Ezekiel 2:2 as an impartation Scripture, for the first time, I saw healing. Church Gist. The things that sickness forbad me to do I began to do them.
-Prayer: I don’t know what they say that you cannot do, beginning from today, may the Spirit set you on your feet to do it, Amen!
Inside every verse of the Scriptures, there is a voice. Do you know why you know the Word and the Word does not heal you, it’s because you know the letter but you don’t know the Spirit! Church Gist. You know the letter but you don’t know the Rhema, you know the logos but you don’t know the Rhema! Faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God. The first hearing is the letter and logos but the second hearing is the Rhema! It is the second bearing that heals people, it’s the second hearing that gives Life!
You hear Him to the ‘mmmh’ point! Have you studied to the point where you say, ‘mmmh’- The Word entered! Church Gist. If you have not reached that point, you are still a baby boy in the Christianity! The Spirit entered into me!
-Prayer: I pray for you today, move from logo to Rhema, from letter to Spirit! You are healed!
- Understand that there is a prayer that heals the sick James 5:13-15. Papa, I have been praying but I’m not seeing results, you have not been praying, you have been telling God your problems! Prayer is not telling God your problems, prayer is telling God His promise! Prayer is not telling God what the devil is doing, He already knows.
Prayer is to tell the devil what God has said concerning you in His Word! This is what my father said! But what do we do in prayer? Church Gist. We always go to tell God what our problem is. We say, father, ‘Where are you? That we are going through all of this? Father! We can’t eat or pay the children’s school fees! You cannot go to tell God that you cannot eat, die of hunger! That you can’t eat is not a prayer point!
You rather say, ‘Father! Have you not said that you daily loaded us with benefits, Father! Have you not said that, my God will supply all our needs according to Your riches in Glory! Have you not said that you will give us our daily bread!’ Church Gist. Father, you said it, do it! All this, ‘I cannot eat, our kitchen is dry, you are a Historian! You are not a prayer leader! You read History and you are repeating History! And History will kill you!
Leave the problems that you are used to, God does not respect stories, He respects His Word! Church Gist. When I pray, then shall my enemies turn back Psalm 56:9. Anywhere that you see the enemy then back, know that somebody turns to prayers!
-Prayer: Today, by the weapons of prayers, may your enemies turn back!
The Lord hear there in the days of trouble Psalm 20:1, Psalm 30:2. If you shout, ‘Heal me Lord!’ That sickness will not go with you today! Church Gist. If you are sick in this church, you are a disappointment, we teach here and we pray here! We don’t only teach the Word, we pray the Word! Answers Assembly is the home of the Word and of prayer. Some Churches are prayer and no Word while some Churches are Word and no prayer! But this Place is a combination of two weapons, we have the capacity to get you!
You better know this! I left Warri 5am on Monday, by 12 noon heading to Warri, left again to Abraka, Delta State by 12-2pm, came back again to Warri by 7-8pm. Tuesday again, I was out of Warri, came back again by Wednesday morning. And after service, I left again and came back on Saturday morning for today’s service- How many times do you want to be praying Psalms 91? Church Gist. Life is beyond chanting! Life is a realm- The realm of Spirits! The Spirit of Psalms 91 could enter into you and stay there with you!
I will never leave you, nor forsake you is a mobile presence! Anywhere you go, He goes with you! Some of you are looking for the Manifest Presence where it manifests occasionally and where you need it- it goes beyond the Manifest Presence and enters into the Mobile Presence- as I go He goes!
On another day, by 5am. On my way out of Warri, the two tyres of the car that I chartered pulled out and exploded! I was seated as the one who chartered it at the back, Church Gist. I didn’t speak in tongues. I didn’t pray, there was enough Scriptures in my Spirit. My wife is just bearing it!
All this while when you are looking for love when you have a problem, you are the problem of your life. All the time, you are looking for love, anytime that you have a problem, you are looking for sympathy. You are just hearing! Church Gist. Did I come and tell you? Is not what they discussed, it’s a destiny turning! You better address it now before it arrests you finally! I didn’t say, ‘Darling! Honey! My love, I nearly died, two tyres pulled off’!
As the thing pulled off, I came out! I have already paid but I said use this money and add to your repairs, stop a new one for me! I continued my journey!
For battles of life, you can’t run from it! Since you said because the tyre pulled off that you can’t enter cars again, you are limiting your destiny. Church Gist. You must still enter cars! You can’t run from battles! I jumped into another one and I sat down, you know what? Because I carry the Mobile Presence of God! The thing dey follow me, wherever I go, He goes!
Papa Idahosa entered the plane with some Men of God. As soon as they were about to move, the pilot said that they cannot move as the weather is bad. Papa Idahosa said, ‘Are you the one that will die? I’m the one that will die! I said that I want to die, go!’ The pilot said since you want to die, I won’t die with you and he said, ‘Since I’m not a pilot, you won’t die and I won’t die too’. The pilot said, ‘Sir, there is nothing that will make me fly’! Church Gist. Then Papa Idahosa blasted in tongues and immediately the weather cleared! The pilot received a little faith and began to fly with them. They were going from I think Benin to Enugu. As they were flying in the air, the thing looked as if it wanted to fall. All the men with him were already feeling dead and unconscious! They were already saying, ‘Ah! I would have written my will, I wasn’t prepared to die!’ But this man was just relaxed!
Get this thing before the day of battle, life is still with everyday battles! When they landed in Enugu, the papa Idahosa told them, ‘Welldone! We are here, let’s go and preach the Gospel!’ This is not how we are going to die! Church Gist. They finished preaching as they were coming back, all the people who travelled with him were running, some of them disappeared and relocated. Some even sneaked out of the place. Loyalty does not mean that I will die with my father the day that my father will die!
And Bishop Idahosa entered but one man that is called Duncan Williams jumped into the plane with him. He said, ‘I want to see the beginning and the end’! And then they entered again and landed in Benin. Then ArchBishop Benson Idahosa said, ‘You think that I want to die? Church Gist. But you must go back and threaten the enemy in the last place that he challenged you!
If na marriage that they challenged you, go and marry! Anything that they challenge you, if you don’t do it, they have defeated you!
-Prayer: Where the enemy challenged you, go back and defeat them!
I’ll still enter the road again tomorrow. How long will you be running away from that plane? Church Gist. You want to be great, and you never want to travel, you will never be that great! Greatness has to do with movement! By air, by road and by sea! You must travel!
–Prayer: So every spirit of fear of travelling by road, by air and by water. I kill it right now!
For some of you, if you were to encounter that incident of a car pulling off, you will cross to the other side and say, ‘I can see the sign that God doesn’t want me to go’. Most of the things that you said that God doesn’t want you to do, it’s your ignorance and fear that is stopping you! I finished the journey!
- Understand that when you serve God, He services your body for better performance!
-Prayer for Church workers: As you are serving God with your body in any department, may He service your body!
-Prayer for those who desire to serve God in the Church department: As you join a department in the Church and be serving there, your health will not fail!
Look at all that I’ve been shouting about in Hebrews 10:5-7, when you serve the Lord with your body, He will service you! You came to do His Will so He has no choice than to prepare your body so that you can do His Will!
–Prayer: Anything fighting your body not to do the Will of God, let that Power die!
Someone had an operation and he came to Church to tell me, ‘Thank you’! And also to dedicate a brand new Venza. I prayed for her and as she was leaving, she said, ‘No, this flower is overgrowing the level that we normally leave it, is this person not seeing it? Church Gist. Is this other person not seeing it? I said, ‘My daughter, they are seeing it but they don’t understand it!’ Most of you are seeing the things that need to be done in Church but you don’t understand that it is that thing that is going to keep you alive! She said,’No, it’s too long, it has gone from flower to bush, I’ll call the boy that normally comes to clear it to do that this week!’ It is not enough to sleep and clean the church, sweep it well! Clean it well!
That thing that you are doing is what services your body for performance! Have you seen a driver or a car owner, wherever he goes, the car takes him there and he does not service the car very well? The car that service you well, you service it well! You say this car, if I dey go Benin, e dey answer, if I go Warri, e dey answer! So when the oil finishes or you hear a noise, you put it in order, why? Church Gist. Because the car is serving you! So you are servicing it!
So if God is not servicing you, you are not serving Him! We didn’t announce, the Church flower don grow, make we cut am! You don’t need an announcement to engage in commitment! You just need love for God!
Papa you mention a person’s name! If you do good we mention your name. Whenever we reference any name and you get angry, it is the last stage before you enter witchcraft operation!
Can we round up now? Exodus 23:25-26. The number of your years you will fulfill! I told them yesterday at a wedding. I said give a thanksgiving offering, do this Thanksgiving offering. Church Gist. They were looking at me with one kind of eye.You wan chop our money, na money now oh! I said I’ll put the offering basket at the altar, and you will dance for three minutes and drip your Thanksgiving offering and after that we will dance for another four minutes, making it a seven minutes dance, it will be a perfect dance!
Three is for perfection and seven is the number of perfection and completeness and they were looking at me. I said, ‘ You don’t know why we’re dancing?’ Because we have seen a wedding where the husband and wife who got married died! Church Gist. And as they are going for the reception, father in law and mother inlae died! I have also seen where on their way to Church, they last had an accident and was rushed to the emergency ward. We got there to wed them at about 2pm inside the hospital ward.
Okay don’t look at me as if you don’t know what I’m talking about, okay, in Warri here, a couple coming from Isoko died on their way! Church Gist. That’s not what we should see on a wedding day! In Daniel’s Club where we started this Church, the parents of the lady who got married either the lady or the man, died on their way to the reception! So when I say thanksgiving, we are thanking God that He kept them alive! Flood all over South-South, Flood in Bayelsa and Delta, yet people came alive. I never knew that I was speaking prophetically.
When we finished the wedding at about 9pm, I saw a call but I couldn’t pick it up until this morning when I returned the call on my way to Church! I said,’ I hope that there is no challenge! The voice of the groom was down, he said, ‘Sir, I am depressed, my wife’s uncle who came to celebrate with me on my wedding day had an accident and died on his way from the reception party’. Church Gist. I said, ‘My son, don’t judge God unfaithful, what would have happened is beyond what has happened, I know what I saw’. I said, ‘You heard what I was explaining yesterday when I was explaining everybody who died. They wanted to kill you and your wife, this thing is a return! I said, ‘Don’t blame God, Be has fought for you and your wife!’
Maybe when I was saying it that man was also in Church that morning, and carried his Thanksgiving offering and said,’ No’! I told them that we are giving this offering for three things:
1.You are alive to see the wedding, thank Him!
2.In your own family,there must be a wedding, thank God!
- I just entered Church, I can’t leave without giving God a Thanksgiving offering!
-Prayer: I don’t know who they want to catch, you have just escaped! Are you serving Him? May He service your body!
- Understand the place of Wisdom Proverb 24:1. When they say that a wise man is strong, it means that a foolish man is weak! Wisdom is a defence Ecclesiastes 12:17. Church Gist. When Wisdom handles your defence for you, even Cristiano Ronaldo will be useless, Lionel Messi will be paralysed! Haaland cannot land! No attacker! Lewandowski, the Barcelona attacker will be suffering from ‘Idaboski’!
You know why sickness penetrates you? You are too foolish, you have not taken time to study your body, you do foolish things and blame the devil. A doctor told me that as a particular sick man gets to Warri, I’ll stop being a doctor! They were rushing the sick man to the hospital! He said that is not the answer, the answer is that when I told him to stop drinking as a diabetic patient, he should stop it! The man died somewhere between the expressway and the Army Barracks.
Foolishness kills faster than sickness! Commons sense is not common, know the things that your body can’t take and avoid it! Look at me Church, I’m one of the few Pastors on earth who preach the truth in reality! Church Gist. I don’t distort nor twist Scriptures as if I am the greatest Faith preacher on earth! I teach Faith and I follow it!
Never follow a man with Faith alone, follow a man with Faith and Wisdom! If you follow Faith without Wisdom, your Faith will always fail and you will think that Faith is not working! Behind every Faith that is working is the foundation of every Wisdom!
To follow the Faith of Spiritual Fathers and not follow their Wisdom is to die before Fathers! Your Spiritual Father should be the one to die before you! Your Father that is 70 years, 80 years should die before you that is your twenties, forty five and fifty years old. Church Gist. Why are we dying and they are still alive, because we emulate their Faith and we mock their Wisdom!
Here me! There are Pastors who don’t drink cold water, yet they have Faith! There are pastors who don’t stay in cars with an air conditioner, they must whine down. I woke up with catarrh and I was sneezing. I said to the person close to me, ‘This is not devil oo, if I sleep with an air conditioner, this is an outcome! I said the solution is to turn it off and sleep without it for another two to three days, and I did that. Church Gist. And when the demon of foolishness saw the Spirit of Wisdom, the foolishness stepped out!
You know why your problem is getting complicated by the day? Your foolishness is getting stronger by the day! Your body does not like pepper and your hobby is pepper, that’s foolishness sir!
-Prayer: Every foolishness that wants to make you die before your time, you are free from foolishness now!
One day, I shared in Church that before now, that I can’t bathe without hot water, it must be hot water! I’m beginning to bathe in cold water, the Holy Ghost said, ‘Shut up, you are misleading the people because cold water and hot water has nothing to do with Faith, it has to do with your body! Church Gist. Anything that your body wants, give it! That is not where to prove Faith! People are proving Faith by building a Cathedral, travelling abroad, raising the dead, healing the sick, renting shops, buying cars with their Faith! Your own Faith is hot water and cold water Faith! You know what your problem is? You don’t travel abroad! When you get there you will know that there is no faith in bathing hot water and cold water, you bath what you can carry!
Prayer: May this teaching answer for you!
How can you sleep by 2am and wake up by 5am, and say that you want to drive yourself? And your bus is to take off at 6am. It’s not your car that is to take off, it is your casket! Church Gist. That is the time to sleep! All the spirit of sleeping in the steering wheel, you think that it is a demon? It is not a demon, it is foolishness! Your body is telling you, go and rest! If you don’t go to rest, they will lay you to rest! Whether you rest by yourself or they lay you to rest by force!
I preached in Freedom Cathedral, Shekinah program. I preached Wednesday evening, Thursday evening and I did all night on Friday. By 5am on Saturday, after all night, I jumped into the car and drove myself! You know that I’m a one man squad! Church Gist. From Ikot-Ekpene and by 9am I was seated already, waiting for the couples to come in Warri! I still came before everybody to the wedding. God said, ‘That’s not what everybody can do, you can do it and die! It’s a special Grace!
Never copy the Faith to which you don’t have the Wisdom to manage! Wisdom and knowledge are the stability of that kind of Faith! That’s why I didn’t preach it because somebody can do an all night vigil on Wednesday, Thursday and still jump into the car on Friday! Church Gist. If you do it, you might not be alive! Some of us have trained ourselves like this over the gears, I have been living like this for 25 years!
-Prayer: That sickness will die now! Any sin that will stop you, we wile it out of your life now!
