A lot of people don’t know what ‘redeem’ means. Back in the days people borrow money and signed their children as collateral. Depending on the amount of money you borrow, some people out of desperation, sign off their two sons. Remember the prophet that died. You can imagine how Elisha had an associate that was borrowing and died in penury. Proximity does not guarantee access. That someone is behind you does not mean they are learning anything. They wanted to take her two sons and she cried to the prophet “this man was a good man”. Being good is not enough. You saw how God multiplied the little oil she had and that oil was able to pay her two sons back. Someone saw his two nephews in a trailer they were carrying them from Guzape to Jikwoyi where they borrowed money. He paid the money and offloaded them. He redeemed them. When you see Jesus had paid the prize, the price is to offload you from bondage. God says trust me, He is bragging because He has offloaded you before. He is holy, many people think of holy as only purity. Holy also means being in a class that nobody is. You see that plate that your father uses and no one touches, that’s holy. Nobody is in God’s class. Anytime God starts by introducing himself or asking you questions, it is for you to wake up. You can trust Him because He helped you when you could not help yourself.
There is a question in the New Testament that if He did not withhold His son how much more will he give to us all things. That’s your Redeemer. He is able to save to the uttermost them that come to Him through Jesus. That’s why you can say with your tiny voice “I bind you demon”. You, that your grandfather stood on a stone and did something that implicated ten generations. Check your surname, the old one if you have changed it. You should know something should be pursuing you. Church Gist. Jude 9. There were three of them: Gabriel in charge of information, Michael in charge of warfare and Lucifer in charge of worship. Did you see how anointed Lucifer was, fear a worshiper, not someone who knows how to sing. Someone who knows how to touch the heart of God. Lucifer was contending with the body of Moses with Michael. If Satan could grab it, till today people will be going to that spot to worship, so Michael took it. You as a Christian can say “I rebuke you”. A Christian should never say “the Lord rebuke you” because you have been deputized and authorized. The only reason why the authority would not work is what we are about to share now.

I beg you, don’t mess up your life with the concept of grace that does not exist. Whoever wants to make clothes for you, look at the one they are wearing. Anyone can brag with a microphone, where are the results, the confirmation of your walk with God. Walking with God doesn’t mean you will not have challenges but you surmount them. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, not few but you come out of them. That is how you know that God is with somebody.
- This is the year you will know what to do. God will show you what to do and where to go.
When God is teaching you something, it is because He wants you to profit. I don’t know what He has been repeating to you since this year started. Each time they are teaching God drags your mind to that spot, profit is at the end of it. Coming to church praying is not enough if you cannot hear God. Church Gist. You don’t start big, you can hear voices. Start from the written word and the preached word. Start from where you are and as you are climbing you will see more. The one you understand, do it. It’s part of the way God operates, it makes Him know you trust Him when you move like that.

You see this message that makes you think because Jesus came I can do anything. There is a way to raise your children so you will not cry later. There is a way you should handle your marriage, the more you know what to do, the more results you get.
- 2022 will answer for you. This is the year people will drag your skirt and say “take me to your God”.
Before I became popular, that used to happen to me a lot. In 2008, I was at the airport and a billionaire in this town came to me and said ”Pastor Biodun I want to be like you”. I looked at him and loved him, I prayed for him. He is a billionaire now, anytime I look at him I know that God can take anybody from Zero level to billions level. What he commands right now is amazing. There is a way you should go, God used us to bless someone with a car, he was telling my son to thank me because nobody from his family has had a car. I gave him that car and he didn’t know how to drive. Church Gist. About some months ago, my wife and I gave someone a car and he could not start the car. I said this is the kind of person I like. Making things happen for people for the first time. Stop thinking like unbelievers. That is the reason why some of them are mocking us. They think those living ahead are stealing because they don’t know that there is a dimension of God. All creation is waiting and groaning. The button to activate is obedience.
There is a drummer in this church, he just traveled yesterday. At first I thought he was pretending, do you know because I don’t open envelopes when you give me, I did not know he would come and give his whole salary. All his friends have left, he still stayed. I am thinking Benin boys don’t behave like this. The teaching had entered him and I don’t want to describe what the Lord did for Him. One day he brought 1000 dollars and I asked where did you see it. Church Gist. He explained to me what the Lord opened his eyes to and I expected it. He said he wanted to go to music school abroad and I said you will go by favour. I don’t want to take the glory, God did it. If it wants to happen, God will put it in the heart of someone. I had someone in this Church living in the house of a Senate President languishing, He came to me and said Something is wrong with me. They will settle others, they won’t settle him and the man loves him.

2022 is the year I want you to listen to God and do what He says. Some of you don’t understand the passion with which I talk when I talk. I don’t attack tribes but in every tribe or family, their limitation is being sponsored and fueled by a character or habit, if you break out of it. It will be like you did 10 all night or you fasted for 365 days. Satan is not everywhere. God asked him where are you coming from and he used his own mouth to say I have been moving to and fro, which means if he is in to, he is not in fro. 1 Peter 5:8. Demons don’t multiply, how do they keep ravaging and affecting people. Church Gist. You must understand power game. The enemy sowed tares and went his way because he knows that with these tares you will self-destruct. You can be born again, you pray but you have been raised with a stronghold mentality, forgive me for passionately teaching you. Forgive me for saying some things out of passion. We all have weaknesses that as a child of God you must handle it. If you don’t, your speaking in tongues will not amount to anything. Every generation must be an improvement of the family, as lovely as my family is. I still have a list of things I don’t want in my family.
When Saul went for this battle, it was his first battle and the instruction was to go to the Amalekites and destroy everything. One of the reasons why God was mad with Saul was because the king of the Amalekites was Agag and he took him alive. In the book of Esther you see that Haman that wanted to wipe out Israel was an Agagite. If he had destroyed Agag that day, what God saw ahead would have been averted. Church Gist. You don’t know the value of obedience until the storm comes. God said use this wood to build the ark because at some point the ark was designed to float. God can lock you in that ark, and when you don’t build with the right thing when the rains come, you sink in the ark and you say God is not faithful. No! You didn’t follow instructions.

You don’t know the value of obedience until the rain starts, it would have been too late. Something God is putting His finger on and you are trivializing will give you problems later. The day they were dedicating Ishmael everyone was rejoicing but Abraham was not smiling. Ishmael will smell. Ishmael was doing well until Isaac came. The synthetic will always deal with the authentic. I told you the story before of a lady that followed her friends in school to go on orgies. There was this particular man who came from America and they did all sorts. After some time this lady stopped that she wanted to get married. She met this man that was promising, this guy had only one brother. Church Gist. The day she went to meet his brother, it was the guy that tore her to pieces. He said I am not condemning you or judging you but this is my only brother. The guy landed two days before the wedding. The day the authentic came, the synthetic showed up. You may think God judged the world but it was Noah that judged the world. After Noah built the ark, God had to bring the storm. God could not change His mind because Noah followed the instruction to the latter.

How we come out of poverty is not a carnal way, how we succeed is not a carnal way. If you don’t do well, sin is at the door. The moment you don’t do what God says, you will say well ”God, I know you love me but since I have to feed my family, I am going to do Yahoo”. Those who don’t follow kingdom principles, they don’t end well. Have you asked “what have you designed to take me out of this poverty?”. Our weapons are not sense ruled. Every time I go to church, Pastor says prayer, prayer. Is it just prayer? Church Gist. Yes! It’s prayer that’s where we start from. Our first response is prayer. Philippians 4:6. Strongholds are things in your foundation, the way you were raised. Things that hold you strong. There are born again Christians who still beat their wife. They saw it in their father. They think if you are too loving to your wife, don’t do that. They speak in tongues but their stronghold is still pulling them back.
2 Corinthians 10:5-6
Casting down everything that argues with scripture. Satan always says “did God really say…”. Heaven helps those who help themselves is not in the Bible, what I saw is Heaven helps those who can’t help themselves. Everything not scripture is a lie. This is how we do it where we are from, okay! But it’s not scripture. There is a universal principle around God’s word. The areas you are losing are the areas you have not asked God how He has designed for his children to move forward in this area.
