God’s word is so potent that one word from God that comes through for a man can change his entire world altogether. Isaiah 9:8. May no one miss his or her own one word today. When the word of Joseph came, it turned his entire world around. Church Gist. One man heard, “you are crying for money and I am crying for souls”. Lined up and things began to turn. “You are not faithful in your giving life” Lord I repent and the same day heaven opened. No one experiences a change of story outside the word he chooses to receive and believe. Today shall be a turning point in many people’s lives, including your own life in the name of Jesus.
Heavenly Father, breathe on your word today and grant us unusual access. Let your word flow freely, let the understanding of your people be quickened and let no one return without a word from you, in Jesus precious name we have prayed.

Remember Financial Dominion is my Heritage in Christ is the Prophetic Focus for the month. Not financial struggle, financial Dominion. Church Gist. Having authority over financial matters. So the lines are falling for us in pleasant places this month and surely we have a good heritage.
Freedom from financial struggles is exemplified by your Church. Zero struggles, zero games. As a partaker of the root of that grace by being a solid branch, expect the end to every financial struggle in your life. The last days according to Biblical prophecies shall be full of earth-shaking moves of God that will lead to the massive influx of all men into the Church. Church Gist. Haggai 2:3-9. Jesus everywhere, an unusual financial fortune in the Body of Christ, flowing to those that can be trusted with it. Remember the last days are days of financial heat and financial stupor for the world. Malachi 4:1-2. It is going to be glorious and enviable for the Church but so gruesome and devastating for the world. It is the two sides of the divide.
Malachi 3:18.
God doesn’t need you and me for anything. If God has a problem, none of us is qualified to be consulted. Can I consult a student in Covenant, look I have a problem you must have a way out? No! Before he was born I already had a way out. So imagine God, the whole world is like a drop of water in His finger, so how much do I weigh there – zero. God will never descend to need you or me for anything. Church Gist. He is the one that said, “Woe unto those that trust in man…”(Jeremiah 17:5). How can He depend on a man to run His agenda? Everything He says is about your change of story. Every command of scripture is for your own change of story. We need to humble ourselves to that point. Otherwise, your ten kobo in your pocket will make you feel like God is looking for me.
In 1987, I was invited to a seminar with Full Gospel. On my way going, the Lord told me to tell them that far be it that I the Lord Almighty will depend on their wretched purses. Church Gist. People like to pose like they are sponsoring God in those days. But that your wretched purses depend on me for replenishing. I gave it to them straight. My prayer is that no one will miss this opportunity to be listed as a trustee of financial fortune.
Luke 16:11
Wealth in the kingdom is an entrustment, not an achievement. God says I can trust what you will do with this so have it. We used to sing one funny song in those days “may the Lord depend on thee”. It is not right at all. It is one of the wrongest songs anybody can sing. God will never depend on me or you. I am so indispensable in the hand of God like everybody else. Church Gist. Please view the word as packaged for your advantage not to take advantage of you. There is nothing you and I are that is not as given by God. I pray today will go down in your own story as a day where your dominion over finances is established.
It is also vital to know that every revelation demands a prompt response for maximum delivery. That man heard that word that he has not been faithful in his giving life and repented “and on my way home something opened up because now God can trust me that I have changed the position of my heart”. Prompt response. Church Gist. That is one mystery behind my story, every light of scriptures I dived into it. On March 22nd 1982, I dived into the covenant of wealth and screamed “Ye! I can never be poor”. I saw supernatural wealth inside it (Deuteronomy 8:18). It is about His covenant, not my view, not my opinion. It is as binding on God as the covenant of the day and the night so you can rely on it. It can be trusted. Jeremiah 33:20-21. I dived into it. Church Gist. On September 4th 1987, He showed me the mystery of corporate tithing. I have never read it in a book, I have read a few books, reading is my addiction by His grace but He showed me Himself from Hebrews 7. This Church dived into it. To tell you how burning the light was, I ran down from that hotel – Sheraton Hotel here in Lagos. I came for a Foursquare Convention or something, we were in Kaduna then. I ran down to Ebute Meta, when Baba Adeboye heard I was in his office, he was surprised and asked me what was the problem? I said I just got one light now and I couldn’t wait for my host to take me. I went down and took a hotel cab myself. I launched into it. Church Gist. The fortune we are walking in is not by chance. Many of you have not been to the Ark site before because by the time you finish your meeting you are all running back home. Just go and see this God and the reality of His covenant. When I say it, some people want to cut my head as if I am looking for them. There is no point in trying to use any treatment without knowing if it is the right treatment or not. So all this heavyweight fasting and prayer won’t do it. God told me, “my financial plan is not a promise so it does not answer to prayer and fasting, it has no respect for that. My financial plan is a covenant, until your part is played, I am not committed”. You can’t be a partaker until your part is played. So in a desert, your church is rated the wealthiest church, in a depressed economy. The covenant works like fire.
I am speaking to you today like a father, I have never taken advantage of any soul in this Church in 41 years. I have only been a blessing to those who are challenged. I have never called any man or woman on the phone, from the days of 8 to 10. I already got into the covenant before the Church started so I didn’t need the Church to swim in abundance. If you won’t take the instruction of the Master, you won’t pass His exams. John 13:13. If you don’t subscribe to the authority of the living word, then life is going off. I have never mixed a dime of this church money with mine in 41 years. I am blessed. Even when you wrote in my name a cheque, I still find out what did you write in your letter to be sure so I don’t mistake what you are sending into my account as mine. Someone sent me a million naira and I asked if I could see the letter, he said: “for the work of the ministry”. I am not the work of the ministry, I am a worker in the ministry. Church Gist. My accountant who was arguing with me is no longer here. I endorsed the cheque back to the church, one million in the days when one million was very serious to me. So it is not about games, I have never altered any figure in my life. This grace is available to everybody. I have never given a bribe on behalf of this Church. You can choose to take a stand for God and stand on top of your word. Every authority in Nigeria knows that, don’t come near me if it is a bribe. You will fry. Under what guise? If I shout at you, your shoe will fall off. I shouted at a man in Kaduna, his cigarette fell. I have this shoe falling voice, may you not hear it.
So the financial dominion we are walking in today is not by chance. That is why you hear me say all the time that I am not surprised that we are where we are. Thank God for the grace that brought us here but I would have been surprised if we were not there because His word says if you do this I will take you there and we obeyed. Your financial story must change finally this time. Any prophecy, the Bible is a book of prophecies, it is called the most sure word of prophecy. Any prophecy you don’t believe cannot manifest. You can’t be healed if you don’t receive the law of faith. If you don’t receive the law of love, all things may not be working together for your good. Church Gist. If you don’t receive the law of giving, you can’t taste prosperity. No matter how smart. Job 22:21-25. We are in the days of the fulfillment of prophecy where men and women will be laying up treasure as dust. Your days of financial struggles are finally over. Jesus displayed this. John 6:5. They had enough money in their purse to buy bread for 5,000 men. He was on the boat and there were other smaller boats with him, He was always on a convoy. He was not a pauper, He was in command. He lived a harassment-free life. Your days of financial harassment are over.
So giving is not a church doctrine, Jesus said it in Luke 6:38. Matthew 23:23. It is a rubber stamp on giving. Hebrews 7:8. Jesus validates tithing as a gateway to financial fortune. What people claim they want, they don’t want, they only wish and if wishes were horses even beggars might ride. They only wish that they prosper. ” Lord see that man, I brought to church he is doing better than me”. We are not in a competition, if he receives the word that you reject it must show. Church Gist. Do you know that no Foreign Mission sent money to Nigeria by an edict? So we are not drawing from Foreign Missions whether U.S. or U.K. We sent money to operate those missions, not that we got money from them. Why are you still boosting and boisterous? The covenant. It only works if you commit your own part. It delivers by the act of divine favour. Ecclesiastes 9:11. It doesn’t matter how much skill you have, favour makes all the difference. Haggai 1:9. When you subscribe to the giving covenant. Haggai 1:8, Psalm 102:13-15.
Everything today is about financial fortune. You can’t really believe it and not see it, you can’t believe it and not do it. Faith is not believing God, faith is obeying God to show that you believe Him. How do you see it that you have a Church that never borrowed, never begged, never financially stressed. It is phase by phase, but phase by phase is going. You have to start from primary school before you can go to secondary school, you have to keep going. To be on the same spot is not proper. To have a child in Primary 2 at 18 is not proper. The teacher will be scared. That seat can’t take him. Church Gist. There are many believers who by grace rating are 18 and in Primary 1 but no more. I pray that you will embrace the light of scriptures on all issues. Never claim to be smarter than God or you become a dummy. He is the only wise God. It is His depth that we are searching. Please settle down and see God as your Father, not a mate you can argue with, He wants the best for you because He gave His only son for you. You will not miss the best.
There is a particular grace we saw in scriptures upon the Churches of Macedonia – the grace of liberality. It has a root. 2 Corinthians 8:1-6. A heart for God is the first platform to operate in the realm of financial fortune. Proverbs 23:26. The wealthiest mortal that walked the planet earth was Solomon. 1 Kings 3:1-13. Solomon loved God and he went to prove His love by His sacrifice and God sounded from heaven “now is your turn for favour”. The wealthiest man in Bible history because people are beating that now and you are one of those who will beat it. Wealth was added to him; it was not his craving. Matthew 6:33. That is a demonstration. My friend, find out from God because I know you meet Him, whether I ever ask Him for money in my life. Not once and I have spent quite some time on mountains and in valleys seeking the face of God for His agenda on the earth. Not once in prayer or fasting do I ask God for money. What I am swimming in are additions. You have been in this Church, has any prayer point been raised. Men and brethren stand on your feet, we serve the El Shaddai God, let us call him things are tight. Church Gist. Oh El Shaddai God, where are you? It is too stressful to be chasing something that is flying when you are on the ground. Riches have wings and they fly away, It is favour that brings them not a crave. Proverbs 23:5. You don’t run on the ground to catch something flying in the air. You are going to hit big time favour.
When God breathes favour on your sachet water business. It will result in a global phenomenon. Favour is the resultant effect of the covenant. I never met one person that sold land to us in this place, “excuse me, Sir, can we buy your land?”. Favour. Psalm 44:3. That is what is coming on you as you reposition your heart to go for the dictates of the covenant on the platform of a genuine heart for God, a genuine love for God. For anyone who understands what I am talking about, this Church should not pay one dime for transportation. We should have more transportation than we need. Church Gist. Nothing is more enriching and empowering than zeal for God. A time should come when you have your own budget for health care so when they show up in need of help, you pray for them but you pay the hospital what they need to check them up. We started giving scholarships in my family in 1992. It has continued to date. Something must strike a chord in you that these blessings don’t come anyhow. They come back working the way of God.
Let’s take this very quickly, can you imagine that you have rainfall in one year and till the next year you don’t have any rainfall, that is drought. Everything living gives to stay alive. We have the plants and animals, the plants give out the oxygen and the animals consume it and give in return carbon dioxide which the plants require to make their food. The day a plant stops giving out oxygen, It starts to wither. If you hold your breath, you die. Giving is living is a lifetime covenant, the day you stop, the blessing accrued stops. J.C. Penney, a big-time entrepreneur in America had a lot of breakthroughs by the hand of God through covenant commitment. Church Gist. As the business began to grow, He began to rationalize, he was cutting his business without knowing until he went bankrupt. He was crying to God, He said wait, don’t cry. Remember where you fell from. He started tithing from the scratch that brought him up. The day you stop, it stops. I will never tell you what my tithe is, find out from God. I can tell you where it began from, you may not like it. When our entire Church income was #18,000 a year, my tithe was part of it. Some started that time and stopped a year after, some stopped five years later, and they won’t see any results now. Continuity is the backbone of the covenant. The grace for continuity at your level, if I gave you #5 at that point, you will testify. Don’t boast to God. Start from where you are, that is the beauty of the covenant. My mission today is to raise more financial trustees in the Kingdom. People who will become giants through favour and one day of favour is worth more than 400 years of labour. Israel laboured for 430 years, and one day of favour came and paid off.
God told me when we were embarking on our first Church planting endeavour, I asked Jesus why funds were not coming for this thing and He smiled at me and said “give me that car”. My heart welled up with joy, I told my wife and she said “Praise the Lord” because we are co dummies. God said to me on my way home “my son David, even if you don’t want to be rich it is too late” for one rickety thing. May you find your trigger and may you rise to it without any announcement. When building rural churches began, I know how many Churches I took. He gave me a figure and I went with the figure, they are all built and dedicated today. Not 10, not 20, not 30, not 50. Who dash monkey banana? Favour from God. If you announce that in those days, I can’t even buy a plastic chair. I might not buy a plastic chair but I must buy something. Wake up and let God be able to trust you. Luke 16:12. Be interested in His thing and then you have your own thing. Be interested in His utmost delight and then you have your thing.

Please always remember that giving is the anchor of the covenant of wealth. There is no more general curse on humankind; each one now finds his way out the way he chooses. Philippians 4:17-19. The Shunamite woman gave and God gave her a son. The devil tried to kill the son and God said you can’t kill my blessing, the son came back to life. Whatever is available in glory is available to you through the covenant of giving and receiving. Church Gist. It was the covenant that averted the plague. 2 Samuel 24:24-25. May you embrace this awesome covenant today and may it change the course of your life forever. Our greatest opportunity is that we see it working in the Church. You are in a Church where you are never harassed for money. I get very upset when they say contribute money. God doesn’t take what you don’t have. If anybody says to contribute money, tell them until I hear from Papa. We don’t contribute money here, you give as you have. Somebody is doing Marriage is that why you should contribute, give what you have. It is not necessary. Church Gist. In some Churches, if you don’t pay what you are due, they won’t bury you. Your children must go and pay the money. Those are all religions. Nobody has ever come here for welfare and they ask “do you pay tithe”, not once. We only ask if you have a zone, so we know you are from this Church and not whether you are a giver. If anyone does that to you come to my house even at night, I will follow you to know why. God never forces His word on anyone. The same way this Church is relaxed financially, I decree it today the end of your financial tension. So shall it be.
