It is not how long but how well. That my son came into Church 2020 “I devoured all the messages of the last Shiloh. I engaged, I prayed, I went after souls, we started home cells”. I have been here for 10 years-a wonderful story. Some folks have been walking around Covenant University since the beginning but that does not earn you a degree. Does it? You were there before the first laboratory was set and you work in the lab, that’s wonderful and people have bagged their PhD from the same lab. That does entitle you to a BSc. Our presence holds no value but our engagement. Somebody else came in there at the same time and has done first degree, second degree and third degree. Same time because of his engagement. God is no respecter of persons. God does not respond to begging, God responds to His covenant. Psalm 89:34. Church Gist. My prayer is that you will hit God’s benchmark for many in this season, therefore causing your star to shine forth. No one will treat this season with levity. Your forward movement is not in the hand of any man. It is determined by God. Promotion comes only from Him. Nobody can advance you and me. He advances us based on the quality of our obedience. You can’t be born of a giant and end up a dwarf. Jesus the greatest giant lives in you, let it shine forth, don’t assume.
Vacation brought me this mandate. Workers Day, I said let me check on my folks and know how they are doing. Then “seek a quiet place I want to talk to you” that’s how the mandate came. Tomorrow is a public holiday and somebody can sleep all round, no prayer, no fasting. Somebody will hit something in two days that will be worth more than 10 years of labour. Take heed to what God is saying and then you cause the daystar in your heart to rise.

UNDERSTANDING THE BLESSEDNESS OF A REVIVAL.
A revival is a season of an outpouring of blessings from heaven. Let’s pick the scriptural platform of these blessings and be able to position ourselves for it. Where you are seated today is part of the blessings of a revival, there is no way we have any capacity under heaven. It is the spirit of God on the move, moving His people. Church Gist. It is your turn for forward movement. The days of stagnation are over in your life. You are not just moving forward now but forever. You never know a setback again in your life. All you need to do is to connect with what makes it happen and no devil can stop it in your life.
1984 October 4th, I caught the fire of Proverbs 4:18 and I said to myself that I am not set for a better yesterday and I have been running like that with everything inside me. God never lies and you are getting there.
What is a revival? Let’s do some quick definitions and descriptions of this service. Revival is a move of the spirit of God among His people which is ordained to move God’s people forward. - God is turning your mourning into dancing.
God never lies, one of my sons in this ministry. Just recently blessed by God built a university and then a city along with it. Gazetted in the state as a city. There is a High Court there, a Magistrate Court there, and the city is called Galilee. Church Gist. He has been here with me for 28 years. He doesn’t look but the heart is there. The place was a no-go area. It was a colony of pythons, conquered. That is how much is in you, just let it have expression. We are not to be part of the problem but solutions to the problem.
- In the name of Jesus, whatever is holding anyone of us back from realizing our full potential in redemption, that siege is broken today.

Whatever generational siege that has been on anyone’s life, a revival is ordained to shatter perpetual sieges and cause mountains to bow, in the name of Jesus, every hereditary disease tormenting anyone’s family in a revival they don’t have any space. As you partake of this communion today, every everlasting mountain on your path shall clear the way for you. It rescues God’s people from the hostage of everlasting mountains and perpetual hills. That’s what it does, as the anointing begins to flow which is what happens in a revival, yokes are broken. So connect. Church Gist. If you put your phone by a socket, it can’t charge it. You have to plug it. The reason why many people won’t see anything about revival is that they have not plugged into it. You have to plug it, don’t hang around it. They hear the stories, plug in. That my son had a PhD but he was being paid like a Graduate Assistant. That’s a first degree fresher. You better plug in. A revival does not favour members, it favours labourers. It doesn’t add value to founders, it adds value to labourers. The labourers are few but the leaders are many. Everyone is rewarded according to his labour. 1 Corinthians 3:8.
- Revival is the stirring of the spirit of men by the Holy Spirit towards seeking God and the interests of His kingdom.
If you are in a revival, your spirit man is stirred to go after God. Going after God is not stress to you, it is not a weight on your life. It’s as delightsome as eating. John 4:33-34. Going after God becomes a sweet delight like eating your best meal. Haggai 1:14. There is no way God will come down to stir up your spirit, He sends prophets. 2 Chronicles 15:7-8. A major revival broke out and God gave them all round rest. When they came alive, they became world shakers. Church Gist. Prophets are God’s stirring agents in getting you on board a revival chariot. Everything you see in this commission today are all products of a revival that is ongoing, unrelenting, ever pushing. You don’t emerge a star overnight, you emerge a star over time. A star footballer today was a kid player yesterday that grew. People don’t know what they need, that is why they are in need.
Among others, revivals lead to the transformation of the life of those that engage with it. A revival is God visiting His people. Luke 7:16. His visitation usually results in massive transformation for those who are alive to it. The Bible said He wept over Jerusalem for they knew not the time of their visitation. They thought they were having fun so it passed them by. Zephaniah 3:17-20. These are all by-products of His visitation.
- I see you in that prophetic word, everywhere you have been put to shame God will give you a name and a praise.
Isaiah 62:2-3.
- Many will earn a new name this month which the mouth of the Lord shall name. A new name that changes your status.
When God makes you, nobody can unmake you. You earn a name from God, nobody can unname you. God is still busy giving new names to people based on their engagement with Him. Your engagement with Him provokes Him to name you. “my son David even if you don’t want to be rich, it is too late” so your name is rich man, that’s the meaning.
- There are people here today that before this month is over, you will earn a new name which the mouth of the Lord shall name.
Genesis 17:16. The Jews are just reigning in every field of human endeavour. By a change of name, the effect began to be known.
It is also important to know that every true revival results in the drafting of multitudes into the Church. Bible historians claim that the population was 200,000 during the time of the Apostles and about 100,000 were believers. That’s the impact of a move of God. It drafts people into Church, sets them on fire and keeps the fire burning. So we are on course. We saw in the Upper Room as the thing hit, the first thing was 3,000 added to the Church. On the second day, 5,000. Church Gist. The next one is multitudes, they can’t count anymore. Next, all of the city came to hear the word of the Lord. A revival that does not reflect in ingathering is not complete. There is a failure point. The massive ingathering of souls into the Church is a valid proof of a revival. Isaiah 2:2. A revival is a move of God that drafts multitudes into the kingdom thereby turning churches into cities without walls. That’s why your God is building what He is building. We can’t enter that place with one service, we have to do two services. This small hall will become an overflow. As we keep pushing the Ark of revival, you can’t be pushing anything forward and be backwards. Forward is where you are going, you better prepare for it. Many of you will become positive surprises to yourselves.
How do I know when I am in a revival?
- When your heart and my heart begin to seek after God in genuine repentance. When we begin to seek God with hunger and thirst. When the fear of God rules our lives then we are in a revival. You are not there because you come into Church, you are there because your personal relationship with God is so important to you. Matthew 5:6. Church Gist. The fear of God ruling your life as a way of life, quick to repent when you are getting off course. When they heard the word of Jonah, the whole of Nineveh went down in repentance from the king and the evil was averted like a dream of the night. That’s a revival.
- When one begins to take pleasure in the things of the kingdom as a way of life.
It is not stressful, it is pleasurable to him. Psalm 102:13-15. They don’t see it as pressure, they take natural pleasure. Nobody is pushing me, I am enjoying what I am doing. My engagement is pleasurable to my soul, I don’t see Jesus trying to use me or abuse me. I have never had a time trying to see whether He will do what He says He will do. In those days, when I miss my flight going outside the country I rejoice because I always have too many things to do for Him. “They say we should go after souls during break, when are we going to rest?” but you are eating. Doing His bidding makes you a living wonder. Just take pleasure. Church Gist. If you don’t do it willingly it is wasted. If you don’t do it joyfully, it is lost. Do it with utmost pleasure. Pleasure in your soul. You are praying for a revival, praying for souls to be saved, it is pleasurable. You are helping someone in need, it is pleasurable. You are not struggling, that’s when you are in a revival.
Many years ago, during those great days of the early move of God in the country in the ‘70s. We went to a place for a meeting and there was no light, there was nothing. We saw a heap of sand in the camp, so we spread our clothes and slept on it and it was very cold. That place was very cold. You wake up in the morning and wash your hands and your legs and you have taken your bath. It was pleasurable. We will be 5 people in a room and on a mat pursuing after Jesus. You wake up sand anointed. Church Gist. I saw a river where we used to have our bath one time as we were driving to my place and I told the driver ”look at that river, that’s where we used to have our bath when we came here for a crusade”. You must get there early by 5-5:30 am before the farmers come and quickly have your shower and disappear. Go out for evangelism and get ready for the evening crusade. It was pleasurable. I was feeling very good, extremely good. There was no “what is all this” not once. I pray that your spirit is stirred up. When you are preparing for WSF, you are preparing with all excitement. It’s in your heart and you are just pressing.
- We are in for the best of time.
What is in a revival for me?
No barriers can stand when God is moving. In a revival, God is moving in your life and when God moves, barriers clear the way. So expect all barriers you ever knew to clear the way for you. When Israel came out of Egypt, God was their sanctuary, the sea saw them and fled. Psalm 114:1-3,7.
- Everything that used to trouble you will start trembling before you.
We enjoy divine favour in a revival. Acts 2:47. Your days of favour are finally here. Psalm 30:7. Nothing flies like favour. You saw how favour decorated the life of Joseph in the house of Potiphar and in the prison. A revival comes along with waves of favour. You will not miss it in Jesus name.
Every revival triggers the flow of signs and wonders. Everyone on the go for Jesus and on the prayer altar is ordained to command signs and wonders. Mark 16:17.
- Your life will never run signless.
I must confess to you, what the Lord is doing on the Ark Project, I don’t know. The raw hand of God. 20,000 seat facility for children in the building, 1200 restrooms. You go to the restroom and you are back on your seat maximum of seven minutes. The basement will take 330 cars. 129 escalators, elevators. In a depressed economy, is it depressed? In a battered economy without any stress on the young or the old, without a sponsor hanging somewhere. Without consultation with any bank. God will surprise you. We didn’t start here, we only got here. Stars in the field of sports don’t rise overnight, they rise over time. Don’t abort God’s agenda for your life by being like a lizard that fell from an iroko tree “if nobody says well done. I say well done”. Done what? You are still a lizard. There is a future to emerge as an alligator if you keep going. Church Gist. I am not talking about evolution. I am only giving an illustration. There is nothing small that cannot become big and there is nothing big that cannot become bigger. Your path is ordained to shine more and more until the perfect comes which is Jesus. The room for progress and improvement is the largest room in the world. Ephesians 4:13. You are not there, stop self commendation. Seek to earn His commendation, it is at His commendation that we change position. Luke 19:17. That’s how it works. You are going somewhere, no devil can stop you and grace not to stop yourself is your portion.
We have already done Covenant Day of Restoration. It is an accompaniment to a revival. Joel 2:23-25. Revival time is a time of restoration. God does wondrous things in a revival. That’s what happens in a revival. A revival wipes away shame forever. It won’t come back. Whatever looks like shame in anyone’s life, you see it no more again forever. Joel 2:26-27. That’s one evidence of a revival, massive restoration. Church Gist. One of our deacons here lost his job twenty years before. He won the case in a revival and was paid back everything with appropriate promotion and allowances one day. If He can restore twenty years, He can restore anything. The good news is, that this is your day of restoration. Just keep the revival fire aflame in your soul.
What entitles you to restoration?
- Be born again. That is what redemption does. He gives you back all the things that the thief has stolen from you. John 10:10. 2 Corinthians 5:17. Romans 8:29-30. Salvation is a call into glorification and that includes restoration of what the enemy has robbed you of in time past. Welcome to your realm of restoration.
- We must remain committed to serving God and the interests of His kingdom to retain our restoration.
God restored Judah in the days of King Asa but Asa turned his back after some time and he lost it all. To secure and enjoy your restoration please stay committed to serving God and the interests of His kingdom. Luke 9:62. Don’t turn back, if you turn back He turns back. If He turns back, one is finished. Asa was pressing for twenty years and he turned back. He turned into an oppressor instead of a revivalist. God hit his feet with a disease, yet he never turned back to God. He died in it. Young man Uzziah was so blessed by God, walking in the revelation of Zechariah. Church Gist. 2 Chronicles 26:5. He lost it after 52 years, he ended up a leper. God is no respecter of persons. Judas heard when Jesus said he will appoint to them kingdoms but Judas was still on course. He ended up in suicide, a son of perdition. Don’t tell yourself I am trying, trying well? Grace to keep pressing. It is one thing to have restoration today and lose it tomorrow. I have never had a reversal of any blessing of God in my life. I have never had one that God did and God reversed it. My temperature is only burning higher, not lower. I pray for the same grace, I am still asking for grace to go on. I thought after 40 years I have crossed the rubicon but that is not true. Church Gist. Uzziah did it for 52 years before he became a leper. From the palace to the leprosarium. I know you have been there but you are not there yet. Don’t pose to God so you don’t get deposed. The man Saul walked with God for 40 years before he lost it. 40 years. It is all these break times that have broken many people down. “I think I have done my best, during that revival in Raji Oba it was quite heavy. I know what my experiences were”. We left that place a long time ago, they never heard this thing you are hearing now in Raji Oba.
- No one here will fall by the wayside. May your fear for God keep burning higher by the day. May your zeal for God keep burning higher.
- May your restoration today remain an asset for a lifetime.
- You never sell off to the devil in the name of Jesus.
One secret to keep going is to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. He is your defence against the assault of the wicked. Isaiah 59:9. It is the natural right of every child of God to be baptized in the Holy Ghost. Nobody laid hands on me to be filled with the Holy Spirit. There is no mechanical thing about it. I have told you the humorous story about a Catholic boy who got saved in chapter one of my book Miracle Seed. Many people have heard me say this several times and they have not looked for the book and they want the Holy Ghost. Church Gist. Without the Holy Spirit, you and I are helpless. He is our God-ordained helper, who shall be in us. Please make every Midweek service this month. Go to Believers Foundation Class, they minister the Holy Ghost in all locations. We are praying extensively in the Holy Ghost.
- In the name of Jesus, a new day dawns in the life of every one of us.
- Whatever the enemy has stolen from you, receive your restoration.

- Your challenged businesses and careers are restored today.
- May this service change your life. Every terminal disease shall be rooted out today.
Hosea 12:13. In the name of the Lord Jesus, the prophetic blessing proclaimed on you today turns into testimony from now. You shall be receiving calls of restoration after this service.
Commitment to the great commission secures God’s presence forever. Can I tell you why the enemy has not been able to stop your church? This is a Great Commission driving Church.
