THE CHURCH IS NOT TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE POWER OF SYNERGY IN PRAYER BECAUSE OF TOO MUCH SELFISHNESS, BITTERNESS, BICKERING, QUARRELING AND ANTAGONISM

THE PRAYER OF AGREEMENT IS A MAJOR FORCE FOR INTENSIFYING THE EFFECT OF PRAYER

THE PRAYER OF AGREEMENT WORKS BY THE POWER OF SYNERGY OF FAITH AND EFFORTS

WHEN YOU’RE IN AGREEMENT WITH A BRETHREN, LOVE IS AT WORK AND LOVE CAN CONQUER ANYTHING INCLUDING DEATH

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT IS PRAYING PRAYERS THAT YOU COULD NOT HAVE PRAYED WITH YOUR UNDERSTANDING

YOU PRAY IN TONGUES WHEN YOU DON’T HAVE WORDS TO PRAY ANYMORE AND GROAN IN THE SPIRIT WHEN YOUR TONGUE STARTS TO LACK VOCABULARY

THE SPIRIT OF GOD IS HELPS YOU TO PRAY IN ACCORDANCE TO GOD’S WILL

THE WILL OF GOD IS ANSWERED PRAYER WAITING TO BE PRAYED BECAUSE GOD WILL DO HIS OWN WILL

BEFORE WE GOT THIS PLACE (GLORY DOME SITE), WE ROOFED A BIG EXPANSE OF A CAMP GROUND FOR A MINISTRY THAT HAD NO ABILITY TO ROOF THEIRS AND GOD USHERED US INTO THIS PLACE

PRAYING ABUNDANTLY IN THE SPIRIT AND DEEPNESS OF WORSHIP CLIMATE HAVE BEEN THE SECRET TO MY RESULTS

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT IS PRAYING ABOVE AND BEYOND THE COMPREHENSION OF THE ENEMY

PRAYING IN THE SPIRIT IS PRAYING INTO THE REALM OF MYSTERIES AND HIDDEN SECRETS

WHEN YOU PRAY IN THE SPIRIT, GOD OPENS UP THE SCRIPTURE TO YOU SO THAT YOU CAN USE IT FOR FURTHER REVELATION TO FIRE THE devil

VOWS AND SACRIFICES INTENSIFY THE EFFECT OF PRAYER

– Dr. Pastor Paul Enenche on “INTENSIFYING PRAYER FORCE – Part 2 || Testimonies and Thanksgiving Sunday Service || Glory Dome, Abuja.

I’m going to quickly itemize some things based on what we started last Sunday and then we get into the Healing, Deliverance and Miracle session. Church Gist. We started looking at “INTENSIFYING PRAYER FORCE” last Sunday with the objective of understanding the factors that can intensify the force of our prayer. Church Gist. After you have prayed in a straight line and followed that pathway and it looks like results are delaying to come, what else do you do?

Last Sunday, we saw two things:

1. Pray with vision. You’re not just praying words, you’re praying with pictures. Church Gist. We looked at that extensively.

2. Praying with fasting. We can intensify and amplify the force of our prayer with fasting. Church Gist. If the results you’re expecting haven’t come, you’ve done all you know to do and yet, results have not come, just with regular praying then you can intensify, boost or amplify the effect of the prayer with fasting.

Today, we shall look at 2 or 3 more and I want you to pay very serious attention.

3. Praying in agreement. The prayer of agreement. Matthew 18:18-19. The prayer of agreement is a major force for intensifying the effect of prayer. Church Gist. Whether it’s agreement with a brother or agreement with the brethren. Examples in Scripture: Queen Esther and her maidens were in agreement for intervention for the Jews in days of Haman. Esther 4:16. This was a time in which Haman the wicked made wicked laws and rules and decrees for the elimination of the people of the Jews and Esther prayed and it was averted. Church Gist. Second example is the example of the Apostles, the agreement of the Apostles against the conspiracy of the Pharisees in the days of their persecution. They were in agreement in prayer. Acts 4:21-24,31-33.

The prayer of agreement is clear, either agreement of yourself and a brother, “please, agree with me, there’s this witch tormenting people in my family, let’s agree that their judgment be released”. Church Gist. Agreement between a man and his wife which I believe is one of the strongest and greatest agreements on the earth, for one agenda or the other or the agreement of the Church, the body of Christ together on particular issues. It amplifies the effect of prayer.

Now, what is the effect of the prayer of agreement?

3a. The prayer of agreement works by the power of synergy, that is the synergy of faith and efforts. It’s the multiplier effect. Leviticus 26:7-8. Deuteronomy 32:30. Church Gist. So, if one person is trying to make a chase, all it can achieve is one thousand, so individually, the highest the two of them would achieve is two thousand but when they come together to make the pursuit, it is not two thousand, it is ten thousand. Church Gist.  It is the power of synergy, the multiplier effect that two of us together can achieve more than the sum of what the individuals can achieve. Ecclesiastes 4:9,12. Unfortunately, the Church is not taking advantage of the power of synergy because of too much selfishness, bitterness, bickering, quarreling and antagonism. Church Gist. This power of synergy is very impactful especially as it comes to the home cell settings, “where 2 or 3 are gathered in my name, I’m there”.

3b. The prayer of agreement works by the power of love. When you’re in agreement with a brother, love is at work and love can conquer anything including death. Songs of Solomon 8:6. Acts 14:20. Church Gist. Our brother who testified from the protocol department with his boy dead, lifeless, everybody surrounded him. He called me, he said those who even came to the hospital abandoned whatever they were doing and faced the child and he came back. So, it works by the power of love.

3c. The prayer of agreement works by the power of Divine decree. Matthew 18:19. God has decreed it, so, when we come into agreement, there’s a decree already standing. Church Gist. There’s something we used to do in the Home Church and I think we should resurrect it, we call it the ‘love cycle’, where somebody stands in the middle and the brethren surrounds him the way they surrounded Paul, to pray for that person for whatever be their situation and we have testimonies abounding. Church Gist. The day of agreement should be a schedule in the Home Church, where today is a day for prayer of agreement, where we will agree with ourselves on various issues and trust God that it shall be done.

– I prophesy to someone here today, whatever be your desire, whatever you’re trusting God for, it shall be done!

4. Praying in the Spirit. You have prayed in your understanding, you want the power of your prayer to be amplified, you pray in the spirit. Church Gist. We have mentioned praying in the spirit before alongside the channel and the pathway of praying but it is one of the factors that intensifies prayer force. Romans 8:26-27. I have prayed some prayers in my understanding for about 5-45 minutes, highest one hour, I’ve prayed some prayers explaining and itemizing Scriptures why this prayer must be answered and then I have backed the prayer up with praying in the spirit for 1 to 10 hours, pushing it through. Church Gist. It produces like fire. We have examples in the Scripture of men and women who prayed in the spirit. First of all, we look at Paul the Apostle, 1 Corinthians 14:18. Paul the Apostle prayed and spoke in tongues ‘breketeciously’. What of the Master Jesus? Did Jesus ever speak in tongues or did He pray in the Spirit? Yes, He did pray in the Spirit. John 11:33. What is groaning in the Spirit? Romans 8:26. Jesus groaned in the Spirit. The time comes when you don’t have words to pray anymore, “Lord I am trusting you for revival in our nation, I am trusting you to change my story, I am trusting you for this and that”, you don’t know what to say in English anymore, you branch into tongues. Church Gist. Now, the time comes also when tongues begin to lack vocabulary, it enters groaning. That is, the spirit is moving at the frequency that is faster than what the tongue can articulate. So, when at the tomb of Lazarus, Jesus was not praying in a language, He couldn’t even have the time to articulate words, He groaned like the roaring of a lion. Church Gist. I prayed like that in the university many years ago. That is, the vocabulary, the words and language can’t carry the burden. Am I communicating? That was how Jesus prayed at the tomb of Lazarus.

– I prophesy to someone here today, in the name of Jesus, that thing that has proved rebellious and stubborn in your life, I see the power of God collapsing it for you right now!

What is the effect of praying in the spirit?

4a. Praying in the Spirit is praying prayers that you could not have prayed with your understanding. Romans 8:26. Church Gist. So, there are things you should pray but you don’t know. Your understanding is not fruitful to the point where you know that you should be praying this particular thing, that what you’re praying about is different from what you should be praying about. Church Gist. That the real problem is not the problem you think you know, there’s a real problem that you’re not aware of.

4b. Praying in the spirit is praying in  accordance with the will of God, it is praying what God wants you to pray. Church Gist. Romans 8:27. The Spirit of God is helping you to pray what God wants you to pray. Maybe you’re praying for a husband or wife and God is saying that there’s an emergency in our nation and in tongues, while you’re tonguing, your prayer is centered on Nigeria or on another sister or brother that is different from what you wanted to pray. Church Gist. Praying in the Spirit is praying in accordance with the will of God and like we said, the will of God is answered prayer waiting to be prayed because God will do His own will.

4c. Praying in the Spirit is praying above and beyond the comprehension of the enemy. You’re praying in a realm where no devil can stop your prayer or hinder the things you’re saying because it is beyond their comprehension. Romans 8:27. Church Gist. The devil, the witches and wizards don’t know what is the mind of Spirit, you’re praying above their comprehension. It is only He who searches the Spirit, God Almighty that knows what is the mind of the Spirit – what the Spirit is trying to communicate right. When you pray, “Father, I thank you for this pregnancy that you have given to me, may I deliver safely”. Church Gist. Maybe a wizard turns to a witch and says, “what did I just hear? That person is saying that they’re now pregnant oh, where were you looking before they got pregnant?” That is a possibility even though it’s not compulsory that they can hinder you by authority but when you pray in tongues and maybe you were worshiping in the Spirit, “Oh Lord, I’m grateful because I got this pregnancy and I thank you because I delivered safely”, you now spoke above the head of the witches, above the comprehension of the wizards and beyond the comprehension of the occultists. Church Gist. They cannot hear you neither can they plan to hinder you.

4d. Praying in the Spirit is praying into the realm of mysteries and hidden secrets. Church Gist. You’re unveiling and dissolving mysteries. 1 Corinthians 14:2.

4e. Praying in the Spirit is praying into the realm of light, insight and revelation. When you pray in the Spirit for a while, after a while, your understanding becomes fruitful. Church Gist.  One way or the other, you begin to understand what you’re praying about and the direction you’re praying about or, in fact, God opens up the Scripture to you so that you can use it for further revelation to fire the devil. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10. Church Gist. Praying in the Spirit is praying into the realm of insight,  light and revelation and once you use light, you terminate darkness.

John G. Lake said, “I pray as I run, as I run, I pray”. Smith Wigglesworth said it’s a luxury to pray in tongues. Oral Roberts said two things made his life – praying in the Spirit and interpreting it and then, giving, seed-faith giving and sacrifices. Church Gist. These two things in his life produced enormous results in his life and ministry. Myself, praying in the Spirit, abundantly and ‘breketeciously’ and deepness of worship climate. Very relevant for my life.

– I see somebody’s life changing today!

5. Praying with vows and sacrifices. When you’re not just praying but you have matched a vow or a sacrifice to the prayer. You have prayed and prayed and haven’t seen a result yet, you decided to add a vow or sacrifice. Church Gist. Vows and sacrifices, they intensify the effect of prayer. Psalm 50:5,14-15. What is a vow? A vow is what you intend to give or do to or for God when your prayer is answered. “I will give this to God if God does this for me. I will do this for God if God does that for me”, that is a vow. A sacrifice is what you give or do before or along with the prayer for God to get certain things done in your life. Any examples? Yes. Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:11. Church Gist. That was a vow, God answered and she obeyed. The challenge is that most people make a vow and God knows they won’t fulfill the vow, so God just leaves them. 1 Samuel 7:9-10.  Church Gist. We see example of a sacrifice.

– somebody say a loud Amen!

In the course of this construction, we offered sacrifices. There was a ministry that had a camp ground, in fact, before the construction, before we got this place, we roofed a big expanse for a ministry that had no ability to roof theirs and God ushered us into this place. Church Gist. Oral Roberts at the age of 75 was diagnosed of a massive heart disease, terminal condition, he was quarter to go. He told his wife, “empty my account, give it to God. Tell him that I don’t want to die yet”. He was already 75. Long story made short, he lived and died at the age of 91. That is 16 more years added to his life. Church Gist. John D. Rockefeller was 54 when he had terminal cancer, he divided his stakes into two and gave it out in sacrifice. He lived for over 40 years after that. It’s the power of sacrifice.

What is the effect of Sacrifice? What does Sacrifice do for prayer?

5a. The altar of sacrifice is the altar of instant Divine intervention and turnaround. Psalm 126:1,5. Church Gist. That is, what makes something to happen on the spot, especially if it is a sacrifice indeed. Sacrifice provokes the fire of instant Divine intervention. 2 Chronicles 7:1. 2 Kings 18:38.

5b. The altar of sacrifice is the altar for the reversal of enemy forces and limitations. Church Gist. Life under a curse, family under a curse, destiny under a curse. Genesis 8:20-22.

– I prophesy to somebody here today, every curse on your life is reversed today in the name of Jesus!

5c. The altar of sacrifice is a memorial altar that causes God to remember the saints in the time of need. Church Gist. You can actually rear up sacrifice altars, not because there was a problem but as a habit and lifestyle, then it becomes a memorial. Psalm 20:1-3. Luke 7:2-6a. Church Gist. When the need arises, your sacrifice reminds God that you’re qualified for His intervention.  Of course, Cornelius, Acts 10:1,4.

– there’s somebody seated here today, God will remember you for your sacrifices!

So, you can offer sacrifices when it is called, you can also offer sacrifices as a normal life and habit to cause God to remember you.

6. Praying with praise. I’m not just talking about entering His gate with thanksgiving and His court with praise, I am speaking about after you have entered His gate with thanksgiving and His court with praise and you have prayed, you return back to praise. Church Gist. Acts 16:25-26. Joshua 16:20. 2 Chronicles 20:22-23. Jonah 2:6-7,9-10. Jonah in the belly of the fish added vow and praise to his prayer and the Lord spoke to the fish and it vomited out Jonah. God is saying, “Fish, you can hold Jonah before now but not after this sacrifice of praise and resources”. Church Gist. God spoke to the fish and the fish the voice and vomited Jonah, no wonder the termites heard us in Bauchi last week. Everything has ear to hear God.

– today, I prophesy, any situation holding you in captivity, they shall let you go today!

What is the impact of Praise?

6a. Praise is an expression of faith in God and when God sees Faith, He moves. You have not seen the answer yet but you’re praising God, that is faith. Church Gist. That was what Abraham did in Romans 4:20. Hebrews 11:20. If you have prayed and you cannot praise, you don’t believe yet.

6b. Praise attracts the immediate visitation, habitation and intervention of God in the affairs of life. Church Gist. When you praise, you’re inviting God to take His place. Psalm 22:3. When God steps in, He must get to work. Acts 16:25-26.

6c. Praise collapses enemy strongholds and installations against our lives. Joshua 6:20. Church Gist. Whatever the enemy has erected against your life can be collapsed by your praise.

6d. Praise turns enemy forces against themselves bringing victory to the saints. Church Gist. You have prayed, now you’re praising, you’re turning them against each other. 2 Chronicles 20:22-23.

6e. Praise imparts supernatural strength to turn every prayer battle to the gates of the enemy. It imparts you with supernatural strength because the joy of the Lord is your strength. Nehemiah 8:10b and the strength comes on you to turn the battle to the gates of the enemy. Church Gist. For as long as you cannot praise, you’re in weakness. Praise imparts strength. You can’t be a weakling if you know how to praise.

– Anybody blessed already, say Amen!
