THE HOLY COMMUNION IS A DANGEROUS MEAL. YOU DO NOT EAT IT CASUALLY
RAIN REVIVES AND HEALS; YOU TAKE THE BREAD AND THE WINE SO THAT YOU CAN BE REVIVED, HEALED AND BEGIN TO EXPERIENCE GOD’S POWER

Ancient of days we worship you, the Holy One of Israel we bow before you. Thank you for your goodness, mercy, sustaining power. Thank you for we are alive and well today. Lord accept our worship in Jesus’ name. Church Gist. Father as we gather again to dine with you we pray that as never before, you will visit us today. At the end of everything, let your name be glorified in Jesus’ name.
Let someone shout halleluyah!
1 Corinthians 11:23-25. Rain falls from above in drops. When you see rain falling, it comes a drop at a time from above. In John 6:48-51, Jesus said, “For you to eat me and live (because those who ate manna still died) I have to break myself to pieces – small small bits.” So, that first Holy Communion night, He took bread symbolic of Himself and began to break to small small bits. Church Gist. He took the bread, lifted it up to Heaven, gave thanks and broke it to bits and said, “Take, this is my body broken for you.” So, the Bible says, by His stripes, that broke His body to pieces, you were healed.
So, tonight as we take the bread which is symbolic of the body of Christ, we are individually receiving as it were, a drop of the rain from Heaven. The Holy Spirit which is symbolic of the wine came on the day of Pentecost from above (Acts 2:1-4) and when He came into the room, He came to each individual as a drop. Church Gist. The Bible says, ‘Cloven tongues as of fire.’ Little little bits of fire came and sat on everyone. And in order to link the coming of the Holy Spirit with rain falling, we all know that almost invariably before the rain, there must be wind. Rushing mighty wind came into the room – The Holy Spirit came and sat as cloven tongues of fire on each one. As you drink the wine tonight, you are receiving a drop of power of the Almighty God.
When I was a younger Christian and I was hungry for God the way it is difficult to explain; particularly when I read that passage where it says, ‘Covet earnestly the best gifts’ and I cried to God on the double portion of the power of Elijah plus the double portion of the power of Elisha plus the double portion of Peter, Paul, The Lord Jesus Christ while He was here, all that doubled again. Church Gist. And I cried to God I want all the gifts of the Holy Spirit – every one! My Daddy told me among several things apart from He said, ‘Son, you are asking for a dangerous thing’ if you have all these things you are asking for they won’t let you rest. I said, ‘I don’t mind.’ Now looking back, probably I would have said, ‘Okay, let us limit it to that which they will allow me to rest.’ But when I said I want all the gifts of the Holy Spirit, all of them, He said, ‘Son, if I pour all the gifts on you at once, you will blow your fuse. Church Gist. Your body won’t be able to carry it.’ He said but what I will do is that, ‘Anytime you need any gift, I will make it available.’ A drop at a time!
We will be crying to God tomorrow. And I am telling you, ‘If you are at home tomorrow, ‘Sorry o.’ But when we are crying to God tomorrow and we are asking Him, “Father, let it rain” all we are saying is, ‘Let each of us get at least a drop.’ As we will discover during our teaching session tomorrow, don’t come if you don’t want to pray because we are going to pray tomorrow. Church Gist. The Holy Ghost service of tomorrow is going to be in 2 sessions. First session we will study: that one, I will sit down and we will study. And when we finish the studying session, it will be time to stand and pray. By God’s grace, we will pray and the rain will fall.
When He gave them the cup of wine to drink, He did not fill one huge cup of wine and give to one and say, “Drink it all.” No, Each one had a sip – a drop of power! Church Gist. This is because too much of it will kill you.
However, for tonight, rain heals and revives. Job 14:7-9. Tonight, we are going to take a little bit of the bread, a drop of the body of the one who came down from Heaven. You are going to get a little sip of the wine representing the blood of the One who came from Heaven. Church Gist. So that you can be revived, healed and begin to experience His power; which is why the Holy Communion is a dangerous meal. You don’t just eat it casually. 1 Corinthians 11:27-29. It’s not an ordinary meal. You are taking little bits of His body and little bit from His blood. You can’t do this if you are not a child of God. To do it will be dangerous.
