UNVEILING THE MYSTERY OF FEET WASHING.
God’s ways are not lower; His ways are higher than our ways. That’s why researchers can find it; it is beyond them. Whatever is from above is above all. “My ways are not your ways saith the Lord, neither my thoughts your thoughts. Church Gist. For as the Heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
In Job 28:12-20, “But where shall wisdom be found and where is the place of understanding? Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.” – it is not found in the land of the living. Church Gist. The philosopher said, “it’s not in me”. The depth and the sea saith, it is not in me. It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof…”
God’s word is God’s wisdom imprint.
Luke 11:49, Matthew 11:24 – The wisdom of God is higher; it can’t be found in the land of the living. It cannot make sense to any natural intelligentsia because it is far above them. You get to village people and talking to them about spacecraft, they will be looking at you like a mad man. That somebody went to the moon, how? It is higher than him, he can’t fathom that. He can’t comprehend that. That’s how weak our intellect is in appraising the truth of God’s word. It is just out in another realm all together. Church Gist. That’s why He said, a natural man cannot receive the things of the Spirit of God because they are foolishness to him; neither can he know them, because they can only be comprehended by spiritual men; men and women of the Spirit.
“About your ministry today, many Africans, because that’s the way they live; believe you must be doing some charms, that it is not possible. Let’s face the fact; in fact, I know that they are all doing charms – everybody.” Why? It’s beyond him. Church Gist. Yet it is the raw truth of God at work. You want to fight a ministry that is 40 years crisis-free; peace, joy, fulfillment, uncheckered supplies, signs and wonders without number, consistent souls? It’s not possible! You mean you are building rural churches, thousands of them and building the Ark and we heard that you are going to dedicate another thing in Maryland? Haba! Let’s face it; it can’t be real.” “You know that Papa, he is a charm man ooo.” Why? It is beyond them.
I have never borrowed, 40 years, never begged. No, it is not possible!
Why?
“My ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” We are diving into a mystery tonight that Jesus entered my room and delivered it to me. You remember I called you, He brought me into his laboratory in my office in Kaduna. Church Gist. He started by saying, “if I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me”. I wasn’t reading that scripture. “Then take a bowl, pour water inside, then take a towel, gird yourself. Then wash the feet of my people into realms of victory”. I called all of you; “get bowl, get water, get towel”.
We invaded the Nation Sir, like no man’s business. “My ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts”.
- Something must break loose in everyone’s life tonight!
God does not enforce obedience on anyone; it is simply a choice that individuals make. “I will never pay tithe”. Thank you. God is not hungry and He is not looking for help. “I’ll never pray Kingdom Advancement prayer”. Now, pray Kingdom unadvancement prayer; it’s your choice. Church Gist. “I’ll never go to Cell Fellowship”. Thank you, others are going. “I can’t come here more than once a month.” Once a month is even too frequent, make it once in six months.
There is nothing you do or would not do as commanded by scripture that affects God. It affects you; it affects me. There is no commandment of scriptures that is for God’s benefit. He has nowhere to accommodate any benefit. “of His fullness have we all received”. God never forces obedience on anyone; it is a choice of everyone. But don’t use your exposure, your expertise in quote and your age in the faith to determine what is true in the truth and what is not true. You are so unqualified. The highest knowledge in the world is an amateur in the things of the Spirit – raw amateur.
Abraham stepped into greatness through his raw obedience of faith. “Get out of the Country”. Thank You Jesus. “Sacrifice your only son.” Thank You Lord. “By myself I swear the blessing I will bless you.” Thank You Lord. Every act of obedience to His word unleashes Heaven’s blessings.
The obedience that works must be unwavering and resolute obedience. “Our God whom we serve is able to deliver us and He will because He said we should not bow our heads, our knees to any graven image. Even if He does not, we’ll never break His word. Church Gist. Do your worst” and heaven came down to confirm their resolute obedience, their unwavering obedience. Remember the story of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego.
- Tonight, as our feet will be washed, whatever God has said it carries will deliver in your life!
Fear-free or doubt-free obedience.
1 Corinthians 2:4-8
It is this wisdom of God packaged in mysteries that ushers us to our glorious destiny, embrace them. There was war when God began to unveil the mystery of the anointing oil through this ministry. Church Gist. There was war across the entire land. Then suddenly eyes opened, they started carrying barrels of oil all over town. I know when God speaks from His word. If you noticed, I never responded, I never reacted; I was having a great time in the Spirit.

WHAT IS IN FEET WASHING?
It’s a spiritual medium through which we partake of our missing inheritance in Christ. Let’s check the content of the unveiling of this mystery by Christ.
John 13:3-12
When Peter saw the look on the eyes of the Master, he knew he was about missing a treasure. “Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head.”
That woman said “I have problem with my tummy. What’s the connection between my feet and my stomach? Church Gist. The pregnancy is not in my feet, it’s in my stomach” and the Pastor said, “when your feet is washed, it impacts on every part of your life.” They said don’t go there oh. She said; “I encouraged myself. You don’t know what I’m going through. You are commentators. I have an issue”. So she came and labour started that evening; she delivered a bouncing baby boy.
Common give the Lord praise.
I don’t know what theological analogy came into play for anybody to think that Jesus was illustrating humility. No! He’s too smart for that. He won’t go and be pouring water to illustrate humility. Church Gist. Jesus, the Wisdom of God. Great parables, in the New Testament there was no such demonstration. “If I wash not, thou hast no part with me.” Is that an illustration of humility?
People just think they are big enough to correct God. You know we have a lot of problems today – everybody is writing a Bible.
