Everybody is in search of success, but the most reliable text under heaven is this book. Deuteronomy 28:1. The topmost top that is where you belong and this is the only book that guarantees that. Most people that changed the world are products of this book. You don’t need an up and down order of success, you need secured success. This is the only book that secures generational success. Psalm 112:1-3. This is the only book that addresses generational success. If there is any book to consult to be a success indeed, not fake success, not political kind of games: stealing and cutting corners, pure success, this is the book. I can market this book to you from now till tomorrow morning. Church Gist. I have seen those patriarchs before me who have excelled in their various fields by this book. In the name of Jesus, the secrets of true success will come across to you tonight. There are those here who will see more than ten times what I end up seeing in my life by lining up with this not just by wishing. The job is done, can we close right now? I have marketed the source and you have it. It’s on your phone, it’s on all your devices. This book, don’t read the adulterated one. There are many of them. Some are interpreted by cultists, by Freemasons, they removed all the vital things that can connect you with God and replaced it with humanistic things. This ‘thus saith the Lord’ is good.
Father we thank you for a brand new month with brand new packages of change of story order of encounter for everyone. Let it be so for everyone in the name of Jesus. Thank you heavenly Father.
UNDERSTANDING THE FUNDAMENTALS OF SUCCESS.
Time and time again we have to go back to the foundation. Remember the Prophetic Focus for this month from that epistle is “I am redeemed for the topmost top”. Matthew 5:14, Ephesians 1:20-21. We are redeemed for the topmost top in the race of life. I was in Deuteronomy 28:1 in 1984, one of those days I don’t have the date and He said “my son there is a place for you at the top if you are interested”. I was ruminating on that verse, I said I am interested. Of course everyone in their right frame of mind is interested. He said “then whatever I tell you to do, do it and you are on your way to the top. The top is open and free but everyone has to make his way there. Lift up your right hand, is anything pushing you down? Is gravity on break? The top is open and free but everyone has to make his way there”. Joshua 1:8.
If the foundation is destroyed, the righteous can do nothing. The foundation of every provision in scripture is salvation. Salvation is the beginning of the journey. If you have Christ you are alive, you don’t have Christ you don’t have life. This is not a motivational center where you come and take note whether it will work or not. You are not born again, you are not a part of it. Being born again makes you and me members of God’s family, so we become partakers of the inheritance of the Father. Every provision of the kingdom is the inheritance of the Father for His children. John 3:7. Church Gist. You must be born again to taste or smell anything we are talking about. Not make up salvation, not salvation because there is emergency and trouble. Salvation because you surrender your heart to Jesus. Salvation entitles you to the inheritance of the Father. Every provision of the kingdom, God’s agenda is for His children. It is the extra that falls from the table that others should pick. It is not as safe as being on the table. It is not as dignified as being on the table. Inheritance in the kingdom is only accessible through applied revelation. Many of us know what our inheritance is but we have not applied ourselves to His demands so it doesn’t add value.
James 1:22-25
Inheritance is delivered through applied revelation. Deuteronomy 28:1. To do is the applied aspect of that revelation. Doing whatever the word commands to do will always result in supernatural breakthroughs anytime, anywhere and any day. Luke 5:1-6. They had to do it before they encountered that net breaking, boat sinking order of testimony. People are so busy looking for shortcuts. Proverbs 20:21. You know premature birth is a risk, the process may appear slow but it is sure. The gestation period of an elephant is 680 days, that is two years. The one for a cat is 65 days. Can’t you see the difference between a cat and an elephant? The process may be slow but it is eternally sure. Just follow the process. Church Gist. Who could have thought that this church that was in a storehouse that had no cross ventilation and graduated into a grass cathedral would be where it is today. Gestation period. Though it tarries, wait for it. If you catch the vision from his word and you keep doing what He says, it may be slow but it is sure. Somebody’s story is changing. Every statement in this service is a covenant vaccine ordained to fortify your life for generational success.
- Nobody in your family will ever be mistaken for a pauper.
- You will never be branded a failure.
When we apply ourselves to the revelation of the truth we triumph always and in every place, no matter what area of vocation you belong. Applying ourselves to the revelation of the truth guarantees success always and in every place. 2 Corinthians 2:14.
We are looking at one of the fundamentals of success tonight – THE FORCE OF VISION. We have a very clear picture of the place and power of vision in Joel 2:1-11. We saw people here, the kind that the world has never known. They are just out of this world men and women of exploits. What is behind this feat in the lives of these people? Joel 2:1-2. These are the end time saints, they are men and women of unbelievable order of exploits. They will rise in the midst of the darkness and gloominess of the end time. Joel 2:3-7. They shall all walk everyone in their own path. Church Gist. So everyone of these folks are men and women that are in the center of God’s will for them. Men of vision, who have discovered the plan of God and are standing strong in it. Joel 2:8-11. These are the army of the Lord not the devil. That is what they call the manifestation of the sons of God, they are largely visionaries. Men and women who have understood the will of God for them and are standing strong in it. It may not look to be working now but you are undergoing a gestation period, every pregnancy has its own gestation period. That’s how powerful visions are in defining our level of success in life.
Every child of God is a child of destiny. Ephesians 1:4-6. When you are saved, you enter into that destiny that God has ordained for you. Ephesians 1:11-12. We have a destiny that is ordained to be to the praise of His glory. When they see us, they must be able to say “praise the Lord see what God is doing in the lives of such individuals. Every child of God is a child of destiny chosen before the foundation of the world.
- We have a glorious destiny in Christ.
When you are saved you step into that realm of divine destiny. Not just any kind of destiny, a glorious destiny. Romans 8:29-30. We are destined for a glorious life. Not just what will happen will happen, what will happen has been defined. - We have an enviable destiny in Christ.
We, like Isaac, are children of promise. Galatians 4:28, Genesis 26:12-14. We are redeemed to be envied not to be pitied by men. - We have a mountain top destiny in Christ.
The topmost top is where you belong. We are seated with him far above and whatever is from above is far above all. We are taken along with Christ above. John 3:31, 8:33.
- Your days in the valley are over.
No one ever arrives at a future he cannot see. Genesis 13:15. No one’s destiny can grow beyond his revelation. Revelation of the truth is what defines the limit of our lives. No one arrives at a future he can’t see. You must have heard me say severally by the grace and mercy of God that I am not surprised we are where we are. I saw them far ahead from the eyes of scriptures. I can’t be surprised, it is a covenant. Can you make me think poorly since March 22 1982? Never even if you put charm in your mouth. I had no bank account but I am so rich, why? He showed me. Jesus showed me and I believed it. My pocket is full even though there is nothing in it. My tomorrow is gorgeous and valuable even though there is nothing showing so.
- Somebody’s story is changing.
Whatever you can’t accept as the truth, you can’t handle it with your hand. If you can’t believe it, you can’t be empowered to manifest it. If it’s too big for your mind, it’s too big for your hand. Abraham believed that He could still be made great after 75 years and then you are 23 you are confused. You are 40 and you are tired.
-Abraham saw it and he got it, you will get it. - no matter where you are now, God will turn every issue of pity into envy.
- every issue around you, He will turn it from shame into glory.
- those laughing at you to scorn will rejoice with you.
Just see it, that’s where the journey begins. No one ever arrived at a future he is not prepared for. Christ was prepared for 30 years to deliver his mission. We live in a world that is full of hurry. If God ever made any mistake (He never makes any mistake) to bring us to where we are now in 1984 we would have died. It would be the worst mistake. You don’t put a bag of cement on a toddler, He will die a natural death. There is no attack of the devil, nothing. It’s an attack of your foolishness. God is not foolish, He is the only wise God. Glory is in weight, it is your level of stamina that determines the weight of glory entrusted to you or it will kill you. Church Gist. Do you know what destroyed Solomon? Overweight of glory. Because to build 1,000 houses for wives and concubines is a lot of money. To build 700 shrines is a lot of money. Overweight of glory killed Solomon. God deliver me from overweight of glory. Don’t tempt me with it. You know the cost of marrying 700 wives? You won’t know it in Jesus name. Glory is in weight and God is waiting for you to develop spiritual stamina for the next weight of glory, so it will not destroy us. God prepares us to match the weight of glory He is bringing us into.
If anyone does not know where he is going, everywhere will look like it. We need to know God’s purpose for us. Jeremiah 1:5. Even Paul the arrogant, troublesome man said God separated him from his mother’s womb and when he was trying to torment and derail from God’s plan, God had mercy on him and brought him to the center of His will for His life. In the kingdom it is not just to dream it and have it. That is just philosophical nonsense, it does not go anywhere. It is discovering the plan and purpose of God for one’s life. That is what we call vision – the unveiling of the plan of God as it relates to one’s life and to us as a people. Any race that is not definitive is a race in frustration. If you are running 100 meters you should know it is 100 meters. 2 Corinthians 9:25-26. We must wake up to know what God’s perfect will for us is. We have three dimensions of God’s will for us – the good, the acceptable and the perfect. Many are busy running around with the good, they have missed out on the acceptable and they are nowhere near the perfect but God will move you to the point where you can say at any point in time that you are in the perfect will of God for your life. No guesswork.
Nothing can be more frustrating than not knowing where you are going. Life without a defined destination is an adventure in frustration. Try to lay hold on the will of God for your life. 1977, trying to read from Jeremiah 29:11 Revised Standard Version, it turned my life forever when the Holy Ghost said to me, “your future is in my plan not in your plan. Go for my plan and secure your future”. It gave me a very renewed value for God’s plan. That was far back in 1977 and today I am very glad that I am walking in the center of the center of the will of God without any iota of doubt. You don’t know the meaning of triumph and breakthrough until you are in the center of the will of God for your life.
Psalm 23:1-6.
When you are in the center of His will, your enemies are rendered miserably helpless. He turns your desert to springs of water. Isaiah 48:21. You keep experiencing a gushing in the midst of dryness. Please choose His plan.
There are two main channels of locating the plan of God for your life.
- Through the Word.
Isaiah 29:11-12.
This is a book of visions for every believer. The word is a lamp that shows the path to God’s agenda for your life. This is the book. Every revelation is a kind of conception. It is bound to deliver its content when properly nurtured. - The other one we are used to is visionary encounters. you saw one bright light and God showed you everything like television. You don’t need any special kind of visionary encounter to live your life to the fullest if you open up to the vision of this book as He unveils them to you. My life got a bearing not from that 18 hour vision, my life got a bearing from Matthew 6:33. I knew this is the way to be accomplished in life. 1976-1981, that’s five years. I had a bearing for my life five years before I had a visionary encounter. Church Gist. Open up to this book. People have not come to accept the fact that this book can open you to visions. The devil can show you himself and if you are not stable in scriptures you start running with it. This is a bank of visions. You don’t need any form of visionary encounters to prosper to the utmost, to enjoy family life to the fullest. 2 Peter 1:3. I am without prejudice to visionary encounters, sometimes He shows us from the word where we are going. Even John the Baptist discovered who He was from the word. He said “I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness”, he picked it from Isaiah.
John 1:19-23.
Jesus found His purpose, His mission in the book. Amazing things written of you and me from this book. Ask for access. Those are two main channels for accessing God’s purpose for our lives. The first one does not need any proof, the second one needs proof. The word has been tried seven times in fire, it doesn’t need any proof. Church Gist. When God opens the truth to you it is everlasting but the one you hear, the one I hear needs to be proofed. Every access to true vision confers peace. Psalm 85:7. If it is not accompanied with peace, question mark. It could be your inordinate ambition, competitive ambition, every access to divine plan confers joy. Psalm 89:15. His agenda confers joy on the inside, it doesn’t tense you up. Access to divine plan allays all fears.
- The same grace that has helped me to find myself in the center of the center of His Will, will help you.
– The last step of regret you took is the last forever.
So vision sets the pace, divine direction dictates the step. To be listed among the sons of God this end time you must locate your place and stand strong there.
- The good news is you won’t miss your step.
Find your place and stay there. It wasn’t arrogance when I said in 1984, that to be invited to be President of Nigeria (nobody will invite me to be Chairman of Local Government then, I wasn’t even qualified) was a demotion. I just knew where I belonged. I knew I belonged somewhere where I would be on top of nations so why struggle with one nation. I saw it not in a vision, I saw it in the word. Church Gist. You are going somewhere, that local business will just erupt into the global market but you must follow the process of hearing and doing what He says, that’s how stamina is built. Matthew 7:23-25. We build by obedience to every instruction. Our stamina is enhanced as we keep building along side with applying ourselves to every revelation. You are not building stamina, then you are not advancing to the top.
