YOUR GRATITUDE FOR THAT WHICH IS INSUFFICIENT IS THE CATALYST TO THAT WHICH YOU DESIRE.

So, there is something you can say this coming Sunday that will make people rush into church the upcoming Sunday, there is the right word. Job 6:25. There is the sent word. Psalm 107: 20. There is the word sent in season. Isaiah 50:4. ChurchGist. When the word comes, the right, the sent, the word in season, it stirs up the influx of soul. Acts 19:8-10. Paul took 12 Disciples having been rejected in the synagogue, he took them to a school of Tyrannus and there he taught them the Word of God, he did that for the space of two years and within two years all Asia heard the Word of God and in verse 20 we were told that so mightily grew the Word of the Lord and prevail.
- I pray for you today that in your territory the Word of the Lord will grow and prevail. ChurchGist. In that city, in that town where you have been sent by God, the Word from your mouth will grow and prevail in the name of Jesus Christ.
So, don’t just put your teaching together but open it before God and spend time and begin to cry out to him. ChurchGist. Oh Lord, let this Word come alive, let the keys that are required to life and godliness in this Word be available to everyone here, that is what makes the difference.
I discovered that this is a vital key. So, don’t just carelessly put your notes together and just carry it out as a chore. Stand before the Lord and stay there with a sense of desperation, watch what God will do with you, by the next time you appear on the altar in that Church God has sent you, the fire of God will be evident, you will be speaking words that will be penetrating the heart of every hearer. ChurchGist. You will be making known the mystery of the gospel to people, you’ll be unveiling the deep things of the Kingdom in an applicable manner to those you come across and everyone will know that a brand-new pastor has emerged in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
- YOU MUST ENGAGE THE MYSTERY OF THANKSGIVING
Jeremiah 30:19. Understand that there is power in thanksgiving, never take thanksgiving for granted. This is one of the vital keys that makes the difference in each of our lives. ChurchGist. I have watched God servant Bishop Oyedepo and I have seen him utilize this key with great effectiveness, as privileged, I am able to see him close by and I see this continuous sense of gratitude, glorifying God all the time, we will finish service on Sunday, when we pray, we have no prayer point, everything is thanksgiving. When we arrive on Monday morning, we are thanking God. We finish a great outreach drive, he leads all the pastors right after the last service into his time of rugged praise, that is one of the difference makers and it helps us to see greater and greater results, why? Whatever you acknowledge by the Hand of God causes God to multiply it in our direction, learn the act of gratitude.
I remember once again, while I was in our Church in London, we were holding a crusade, it was our first crusade for that year and you can imagine we held it in a place called Gravesend, we were praying intensely, we were praying Monday to Wednesday, the crusade was Thursday, Friday and Saturday. So, we were praying intensely, 8 hours daily in preparation for the crusade and then Thursday came and the Heaven opened and rain began to fall, rain fell so drastically everywhere, when we got to the place where we were to hold the crusade. ChurchGist. Suddenly we were looking only at ourselves, we were the only one on the crusade ground, the souls we were looking for we couldn’t find them and we saw few people about 5 of them walking around, we ministered the gospel to them and they gave their lives to Christ, I ministered healing to those who required healing, God touched a few of them.
The next day the venue we were to use was a big hall, they moved us to a smaller hall, that the big hall was no longer available, it was an opportunity to complain, we went into that smaller hall and we did it with gratitude, celebrating God, more people came that second day, ministered there and there was a woman who got healed of stomach cancer and by Saturday morning a few more people, but it wasn’t exactly what we were expecting but we came back with joy and celebrated God for that first crusade of the year, in the eyes of many it was a failed crusade but we saw it as a great victory because there is joy in Heaven over every soul that is saved by the second crusade of the year, having giving thanks of the first, there was no space in the venue, people were sitting everything, even on the staircases, the place was overflooded with people. ChurchGist. Why? Because of the gratitude of what seems insufficient, one persona come as a new convert or a first-time worshipper, thank God for it, your gratitude for that which is insufficient is the catalyst to that which you desire, maintain gratitude at all times, it is a multiplier, ingratitude diminishes but gratitude it will increase. Joel 1: 12. So, it takes an attitude of gratitude to experience continuous growth.
But I believe God that haven’t heard these 9 keys, I trust God that the Light of God is available to you and it will give us what it takes to move us to the next level. The next time this Church growth conference holds, your testimony of eruption will be open for all to see, the you that people know now is not the you they will know by then, because your story would have dramatically changed. ChurchGist. I see the God of all grace, bestowing upon you for unusual grace and making you a giant out of that labour that he has put in your hands in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
