LORD Jesus, thank You for again another brand new month, thank You for the package reserved for us for this month, thank You for Your help for each one of us to access the same in the name of Jesus and I pray that this month will be one of a kind for every single member of this Church, every worshipper in this Church in the name of Jesus Christ. Church Gist. Thank You Heavenly Father, blessed be Your name in Jesus precious name.
We are undertaking an adventure in the supernatural this month, Amen and it’s by the Word that we command the supernatural. Thou shall take this rod in thy hand wherewith thou shall do signs. So, crying for miracles don’t work, get hold of the Word, miracles will answer. Engage with the Word and miracles will be the result. Everything that speaks in the Kingdom has its source in the Word, everything! Church Gist. So, Word lazy believers don’t really have a great future in the Kingdom. Thou shall take this rod in thy hand wherewith thou shall do signs and Jesus is the rod of God. He is the rod that came out of the stem of Jesse and He is the living Word of God. You take this Word in your hand and whatever He tells you, do it and then you have a miracle. It is not a happenstance – it is something that may happen and may not happen, no! You get hold of the right Word, you engage with the right Word, you are in command of the miraculous. Now, whatever area has posed a challenge to anyone’s life, the Word that will put you in command will come your way this time. It shall be a month of months for every single winner worldwide. The month of May shall be a month of months for every single winner this month in the name of Jesus Christ.
LORD Jesus thank You for answering our prayers, we all wait on You, we look up to you, now speak to us Jesus in Jesus name. Give the LORD a big hand of praise and please you may be seated.
The prophetic focus for the month which will be read on Sunday is “I AM REDEEMED A WONDER TO MY WORLD.” John 3:8. Church Gist. Not a wanderer, not a burden but a blessing. Not a concern but a solution. Every single child of God is born a wonder to his word. He is redeemed to be wondered at, what manner of man is this? What manner of woman is this? That’s God’s ordination for our redemption. One more time say with me I AM REDEEMED A WONDER TO MY WORLD and if you go back to the old testament in Isaiah 8:18, now there were no children in the old testament so it is a prophetic word concerning us in redemption. We are redeemed as signs and wonders to our world, it’s amazing. Praise God! Whatever is blocking anyone’s access to operating in that realm will be cleared off this month in the precious name of Jesus.
Our teaching series for our midweek services which begins today is OPERATING IN THE SUPERNATURAL and I will like you to be very intense in your disposition to the teachings of this month and also get yourself equipped with relevant books that are recommended for the month and take charge. Church Gist. One interesting thing about ministry is this, please listen to me, God is only committed to confirm the Word He has sent you. He told Jonah, go to Nineveh and preach to her the preaching that I bade thee. It didn’t make much sense but a whole city turned to the LORD by preaching that He bade him. I heard God say to me, June 29 1992 “It’s time for change, prepare yourself for the imminent change of phase I have talked about over the years. It is the era of signs and wonders.” It is a new dimension because I understand that we have been seeing signs and wonders since inception in this ministry, since inception! A woman heard me teach on Blessed is she who is not offended in me and she has been waiting on the LORD for the fruit of the womb and then she is reacting to everybody in the family, everyone everywhere, that day she just said enough, this my problem God has come to solve my problem and she became pregnant the following month, so we have been seeing signs but He said it is a new dimension of a higher order, that’s where you should get into. Now, begin to declare total war against the kingdom of darkness, proclaiming liberty, emphasize power, step into the realm of anointings. My God! Usher in this era with me, so it’s an era. It is time for the replacement, restoration of all things which the mouth of the LORD has spoken since the world began. It is time to administer the forces of the spirits that will enable the saints take up their inheritance in Christ. I am launching you into the apostolic phase of your ministry for pacesetting today and there is no strong man anywhere, it is the great God behind an ordinary man that makes him look strong. Church Gist. God is only out to confirm His Word that He gives. So, what we see here in terms of signs and wonders and diverse miracles are the direct acts of God in confirmation of His Word. So, we have the Word of the supernatural in this commission, it is not a make-up, it is not let’s find something else to teach. There are things that we have seen here that I was hearing for the first time in my life. This is where a husband will die and the wife will say no, honey you can’t die and get him back to life. We used to know Apostles and Prophets doing that before but members of the Church are all operating in that frequency because God said so.
Now, as the LORD lives, your level must change this month. Everyone here shall become a distributor of the miraculous. So, it’s not by power, it’s not by might, it is simply God at work in the midst of His people. Church Gist. So, we are not in it because it is in vogue, no, it is one of our three fold messages to this generation – the Word of faith, the Word of prosperity and the Word of signs and wonders and it is working like fire. Something must turn loose in everyone’s life this month in the name of Jesus Christ.
Now, let’s begin, what’s a miracle?
A miracle is simply God at work in the affairs of men. Acts 19:11-12. Special miracles, God wrought! A miracle is simply God at work in the affairs of men. Mark 16:20. What is a miracle? It is the finger of God in operation, I saw that this is the finger of God, the magicians said we can’t proceed any further. It is the finger of God among His people. Exodus 8 verse 16 -19. Church Gist. Now, to operate in the supernatural, the first requirement is to engage the power of new birth, that’s where the journey begins. The first man before the fall was a sign and a wonder to the world, Adam the first. He was a miracle man. Everything about Adam was supernatural. He was the one that named all the fishes in the waters. How? Did he call them out, no! He went down to the river or to the sea to name them.
He was not a diver. He named all the birds in the air, how? The Garden is not like Canaanland, the Garden is a whole territory and he was in charge of all of the garden at the same time without any mobility of any kind. He was a wonder. He was created in the likeness of God until he sold out to the devil. That’s what Jesus paid for, to recover mankind back to its original estate. We all died in Adam, Jesus came and brought us back to life. Jesus came and quickened that dead stuff in us back to life. The first task is to see the worth of our redemption. Church Gist. The Lord said unto Moses ‘See I have made thee a god unto Pharaoh’ (Exodus 7:1). That was the revolutionary point in the life of Moses. See! See! It is important for us to see what redemption has made of us. That will be what defines our level of command of the supernatural. So you saw him operate as a god before Pharaoh. That’s not a human being, his disposition changed immediately. You know the Lord said to Abraham “as far as your eyes can see unto you will I give it” how much we can see that revelation has made us is what determines our level of command of the supernatural.
What has redemption made of us? Let’s begin from the Old Testament Psalm 82:5-7. You are gods but you shall die like mere men because you don’t want to understand it. We know at creation that like begets like. When Adam came, he was created in the very likeness of God and the genealogist analyzed that as ‘Adam, the son of God’. When one is born again, he becomes a child of God. Like I said humorously several times, the child of a goat is a goat, the child of a sheep is a sheep, the child of a horse is a horse, the child of a ram is a ram so who should a child of God be? A god! Is that not simple? It is not an equation, it is a straight line statement. There is no subtraction or addition, everything reproduces after its own kind. John 1:12. Church Gist. At new birth, we are empowered to become a son of God. We now share the same order of life with God. The free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus – the God order of life. John 10:35-36. So they operate in that realm by the Word of the Lord. They just received, believed and engaged with the Word and they started manifesting as sons of God. The whole creation is waiting for the manifestation of the sons of God. They are waiting, they are in hiding waiting for us to come forth in our true colour by revelation, by light from heaven. You will not be left out. No one here shall be left out.
Now, don’t talk to me about maybe they had money or not. We have never had a power outage in Canaanland since 1999. Come on now, give the Lord praise. You think that is money? That is not money. ‘The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty’. It is supernatural! Church Gist. Receiving and engaging with the Word puts any believer in command of the supernatural. The days of our struggles are over.
We also understand that redemption has also repositioned us to command the supernatural. He raised us up together with him at salvation and made us to sit with him in heavenly places and is located far above all principalities and powers. We have been repositioned by redemption to command the supernatural. Ephesians 1:20-23. We must be able to comprehend our repositioning. We have been translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of His own dear son. Church Gist. So we are no longer there where they buffet, afflict, torment, kill and destroy. Colossians 1:13. So there is a repositioning, redemption positions the believer to command the supernatural. So you are not under the circumstances anymore. You have been removed from under circumstances to above circumstances. That is why the core validation of redemption is the supernatural. That is the core validation.
Remember every time Jesus revealed his identification with the Father, the people arose to stone Him. It is the hottest revelation in the kingdom. That you and your Father are now one. Church Gist. No! Satan can’t stand that. John 5:17-18. The devil can’t stand that, he gets angry. John 10:30-33. He doesn’t want to hear that. It is a bitter truth to the devil, it is poisonous to him. It puts you above him. Somebody’s story is changing.
Watch, by redemption we are now seated in heavenly places where the devil has no power to prevail. There was war in heaven (Revelation 12:7-11), Satan fought and his angels, Michael fought against them and Satan prevailed not. They overcame him. So Satan has no capacity to overcome in heavenly places and that is where you are now seated. You know what that means? Your days of defeat are finally over. We need to see this vantage position and recognize that it is not by power nor by might, it is just an act of redemption, an act of grace. So let’s start to appropriate it. Can I have you say ‘Where I am seated Satan has no power to prevail. Where I am seated there is no place for the devil. Revelation 12:8.
The psalmist also said “why do the heathens rage and the people imagine vain things, the kings of the earth gather themselves against the anointed one of God. He that is seated in heaven shall what? laugh! Where are you seated? What do they do there? That’s the more than conquerors’ laughter, that what is going on? Who are those people making noise here, what’s going on there? What’s going on there? That’s where you are seated. Don’t see these as religious philosophies please, understand this as the truth that empowers ordinary people to do extraordinary thing. Recognise that, as the truth from Heaven that puts you incharge anyday anytime. Church Gist. Again, your story is changing! Your story is changing.
Watch what happened, the gap between us and the first Adam. 1 Corinthians 15:45-47. Difference, clear difference. Adam was made of dust and then God breathe into it. We saw Jesus answer the call in Heaven in Revelation 5 as He took the book and opened the seals thereof, so He came from Heaven, Amen. So, there is a gap between us and the first Adam because we are heirs of God and joint heirs with Jesus Christ, He was not ashamed to call us brethren so we have a common root, we are from there. So, we carry more than the first Adam had. Can I hear your Amen? No one shall live an ordinary life here anymore. You shall not live an ordinary life here anymore. Church Gist. We also saw in 2 Corinthians 3:7-11, how that the redeemed are ordained to operate in the realm of supernatural above what the Church in the wilderness experienced and that was a miracle Church. Everything about the Church in wilderness was a miracle, everything, everything, everything. 2 Corinthians 3:7-11. So, no matter the picture we saw in the wilderness sir, God has reserved much more for the Church of Christ. They were feeding on manna forty years. Exodus 16:8. He was giving them bread in the morning and flesh in the evening and that continued till they got to the border of Canaan. Exodus 16:35. Forty years free feeding, all the laws of nature suspended. Forty years free flow of water in the desert. Church Gist. Forty years, no health issue whatsoever! Their legs were not swollen forty years sir, none was consumed by the wild beasts, there was a pillar of fire in the night and a pillar of cloud in the day, they were shielded from the heat and they were kept safe from the wild beasts, forty years. Their clothes did not wear on them, where were they buying it from and yet He said that has nothing in it compare to the glory that excelleth, reserved for the end time Church. Church Gist. Come on, give the LORD a big hand of praise.
All, we are trying to do tonight is to get our spirit-man quickened, we are not begging for the miraculous, we are redeemed to operate in the supernatural. We are redeemed to operate, it is not an ambition, it is a birthright. So, stop expecting things to take a natural course in your life, stop expecting it! Like I said before, nothing validates our redemption as the supernatural. John 10:37-38.
Only fools doubt proofs. Only fools doubt proofs. Don’t mind them, can’t you see what is happening? Only fools doubt proofs. Quietness and serenity since inception. No breaking-in of robbers. When we were building inside the forest, no one was waylaid, no one was robbed on the way. Armed robbers will come and just join the labour force. The supernatural is the natural estate of the believer. The supernatural is your natural estate. Church Gist. Is not something you are trying to dream, it is not something you are trying to figure out and envision. It is your birthright. So is every one that is born of the spirit. Jesus said as my Father has sent me so send I you. So we are supposed to begin to operate in the supernatural as our natural lifestyle. Something is breaking forth in everyone’s life tonight.
Our eternal life is not theoretical, it is real. One of us in those days mistakenly took a bottle of acid in those days and then he started shouting ‘Acid’ I said no! It is water. He escaped unhurt. What is that? Supernatural. Whatever hurts others around you will not hurt you anymore because you belong to a group of special people. 1 Peter 2:9. When a believer disregards the place of the supernatural, he becomes vulnerable to all life’s situations and circumstances. Vulnerable! He loses control. Psalm 82:5-7. They know not! You are never in doubt that you are a human being. How? You are born of human beings. So why are you now in doubt? And you agree that you are a child of God. How can you be a child of God and carry another nature? No! Your child can’t be a goat, he has to be a human being. You are not a goat. The Devil wants to make that so tough, so severe. It is so simple Sir. If I didn’t get hold of that on time, I would have died many times. I did my first teaching series on ‘Ye are gods’ in 1983 and Death came to try it out. The life in me surged ‘What are you doing here?’ I stood up and I still travelled the same day.
Bishop Aremu was telling me today that he came in to spend some time with us in the family and he saw me coughing blood. They said no, I shouldn’t go to Church. I said No! If it is the last one I am going to go there. He said they just watched and discovered that everything disappeared. While I was there, there was no single cough. Church Gist. Everything went off. The supernatural is your natural estate. Don’t give the devil any more room to torment your life. You have the right to determine the happenings. Enough is enough of being manipulated and buffeted by the wicked one. Your days of triumph are finally here. It is your turn to experience a change of story.
Again our series began today on operating in the supernatural. The basic thing is to understand what redemption has made of you. Church Gist. That will help to reinforce your confidence as you stand to engage and command the supernatural. It is your turn for a change of story.
Lift your right hand to heaven and give God thanks for the gift of salvation. Salvation is a gift, it is not an accomplishment. It is an engracement. Grace found you and grace found me.
