-Lord! In this Second Service, we ask that You speak to us through Your Word. Church Gist. Open our understanding to receive the Word of life in Jesus’ mighty name!
The Message is: ‘PRAISE FOR FULFILLMENT OF PROPHECIES’ – PART 2.
Prophecies are to be fulfilled. Prophecy is the revealing of God’s plan and purpose for an individual, people and nation. In Genesis 18:10-14, God told the Man Abraham as a prophecy, He said: ‘In the appointed time, you shall have a child’. And Sarah shall bear a son’. Church Gist. In fact, the prophecy was so funny that Sarah had to laugh, she said: ‘At this old age’? What God says, He will fulfill.
-And everything that God has said about you and has said about me, say about this Commission will be fulfilled in the name of Jesus!
Isaiah 55:11. I read this Scripture, it took me some years back to understand this Scripture: ‘… It shall not return unto Me void’! I thought that when God speaks it is final, no! The returning (of the Word of God) has to be done by me. He has declared His Word, there is nothing God will declare again except this (Referring to the Word of God), so I am the One that will give voice to His Word for it to return back to me to fulfill the purpose to which it has been sent. How many understand the Bible? When I read it the first time, I believed that anything that God said is automatic. Church Gist. No! That’s not it! Listen: ‘…So shall My Word be, that goeth forth out of My mouth’. Isaiah 55:11. There is nothing God will say again, He has said everything here, He is not going to say anything new, is that true? So when God speaks His Word, I am the One that will take the Word and give it a voice then it will return and fulfill that purpose which He has sent it. How many are understanding what God is saying? It is not God who will do that part; He has said it already, I’m the One that will give voice to His Word and then the Word will now return to me and fulfill that purpose.
-And I know today, every Word of God you declare in line with what He has said will be fulfilled in your life.
Prophecies are not religious wishes or mere predictions, they are sworn verdicts. Isaiah 14:24. That means, anything God says is a sworn verdict. Most times, prophecies don’t agree with human logic because God speaks according to what He can do, not what we can do. God does not speak based on what you and I can do, He speaks based on what He can do and most times, they won’t agree with you. Church Gist. One day Elisha said: ‘By this time tomorrow…’ Ah! One man, an Economics man; if you read the Book of 2 Kings 7, he said: ‘How can that be? This is not normal’! He said: ‘By this time tomorrow…’ And there was famine in the Land, just the way hardship is now. Just imagine in this hardship and somebody will tell you: ‘Tomorrow, you are going to be a billionaire’. You will say: ‘Oga! Calm down’. You know? It has happened, I have shared the testimony before with you over and over. When words are declared, the receiving side matters a lot. God has no problem how He will do it but man has always been the issue. But sometimes, when God speaks, even you, your natural senses will not agree.
But one day I went to a man’s house, I have shared it over and over – 31st! On a Sunday! The 31st was on a Sunday that year and right in his house I said: ‘Before this year is over…’! I was saying: ‘Before this year is over by 2 pm’. By when? Sunday, 31st! I said: ‘Before this year is over, your story will change’! Church Gist. The Man himself said: ‘Ah! Hope Pastor understands that today is 31st and 2 pm in the afternoon’? Which was abnormal and I was saying: ‘By this time’! Now! Barely, I have finished, in less than 2 hours his Heavens opened! They called him from Government House! An architect! They said: ‘Listen, we are looking for an architect and we thought of you’. This Man was at the lowest point of life, nothing was working for him but the Word went forth, he received it and Heavens opened. That’s how he came out of every hardship till today!
-Now! Today I decree! Every Word that has been prophesied in your direction that you believed will be accomplished right in this Service. Church Gist. Even if you are hearing this Message in any medium, I decree it to be established whether online, in the name of Jesus! If you believe it, say ‘Amen’ to that!
In Genesis 22, he said concerning when Abraham placed Isaac (to be sacrificed to God), He said: ‘By Myself have I sworn’. If you read Genesis 22:16-18. God said: ‘In blessing, I will bless thee’. He said: ‘I swear’! God will say: ‘Swear not’ but He swore, because there is nobody. Church Gist. Even you, you say: ‘True to God’, He has nobody to say to. You know? When you want to do something, you say: ‘True to God’! Now, Him, no ‘True to God’. He said: ‘By Myself have I what’? Sworn. Just imagine God saying I can’t swear to anybody, I am swearing by Myself.

He said: ‘His hands will bring it to pass’. For prophecies to be fulfilled, we must receive and believe the prophecy. Until the Prophetic Word is received and believed, it can never get fulfilled. Church Gist. And the Word of God is the sure Word of prophecy. When we talk of prophecy, the Word of God is the most sure word of prophecy. 2 Peter 1:19-21. A more sure
word! It is more authentic than anything else. Say: ‘I hear’!
And every prophetic word is a seed because the Word of God is a seed. Luke 8:11. And that Seed has to fall on a fertile ground which is your heart. Luke 8:15. Church Gist. When it is on a fertile ground, forget it, it must produce. Matthew 13:22-23. When you understand the Word of God, what do you do? You bear fruits. How many will have understanding today?
Say: Lord! Give me understanding.
So when you have understanding it will produce a hundred folds, sixty folds, thirty folds. Church Gist. Now, if I receive God’s Word – I believe and I receive it and understand what God is saying then things will begin to work, is that true? Glory to God!
Now, listen! One day, a young lady called Mary was told she was going to have a child, that was abnormal, without a man but she believed. Listen, some things God will tell you, your human senses can’t accept it. Church Gist. It is easy to preach it now. Just imagine Mary, there was nobody like that before her. If they tell you: ‘You can have a man’, you can remember Mary now and agree, before Mary, there was nobody.
So just imagine she was told that “you are going to have a child without a man”. Just imagine what has gone through her head. In your village nobody has had 10 billion, maybe you are living in one room and then all of a sudden, a word came to you “you will be the first billionaire” – you know, you will shake first. Church Gist. It’s easy to agree if you have handled some money but you are just maybe paddling a canoe in Okrika and then a word comes to: “you that is paddling, you will be a millionaire.” You will go back, you turn back again and say excuse me “oga, come! You say who? Me? From Ogoloma? No! Oga, calm down o.”
God does not speak based on what is happening, He speaks based on His size. He can take a janitor to become a jet owner. Church Gist. That’s who our God is. He does not speak…The previous day, Joseph was in prison – the next day, he was a prime minister. 24 hours, too much!
– I decree today before this year ends, goodness and mercy will follow you!
Luke 1:45…Because she believed, God said “this prophecy must be fulfilled.” When prophecy is received in faith, performance is sure. Church Gist. As believers, we have the responsibility to see prophecy come to fulfillment.
– Everything that God has said about you and I will be fulfilled right now in the name of Jesus!
You don’t watch prophecies, you do something for prophecies to be fulfilled. 1 Timothy 1:18…War!
One way we work out prophecies to fulfillment is through praise. We praise God for the prophecy to be fulfilled.
Praise is appreciating God for who He is. When we praise God for any prophetic word, we move Him to fulfill the Word in our lives with speed. Psalm 56:10.
Now, I will give you some scriptural examples of prophecies fulfilled through praise. In mathematics, you just look at the example and solve your own problem.
Scriptural Examples of Prophecies Fulfilled Through Praise.
A. Abraham.
Abraham had a prophetic word concerning the birth of his son of promise. In Genesis 17:4-8, the Promise was made. In Genesis 18:9-14, the Promise was made that Abraham will have a son at old age – that was the Prophecy.
God has said something about you that “you are going to be the head and not the tail, you will lend to nations and not borrow.” He said “he that findeth a wife, findeth a good thing.” That’s a prophecy. Prophecy is every Word of God. Church Gist. Don’t think that prophecy is only when someone starts doing like this (demonstrating). He said “this is the sure Word of prophecy.” “I will bless you and all nations shall call you blessed” – that’s a prophecy. Every Word of God here (the Bible) must be fulfilled. That was the Prophecy to Abraham but Abraham had to engage the power of praise for the prophecy to be fulfilled. How many understand it? Glory to God!
In spite of all odds and contradictory circumstances, Abraham did not look at the circumstances, he stood on the integrity of the Word and praised God. Romans 4:17-21. Church Gist. No prophecy can be fulfilled if you doubt. One thing about prophecy is that once you doubt, you will be damned. When God speaks, don’t doubt.
Let me give you a testimony. When God said “we should start the Cathedral” – ‘believe you me’, the money was not there physically. If I ever doubted, that place wouldn’t have been built. God said “go and praise.” The billions that have entered there, billions not millions…sand alone is in billions. Sand! Sand (and) not sound (laughs) is in billions. Church Gist. That Cathedral can build a village. There are villages where some of you come from, the whole houses – bring them down, the money there can build all (some of your villages). True? That is, the whole of some of your villages including your house that you built that you think is fine. That Cathedral can build the whole of your village – every house, (block house) including Bayelsa where I came from. (Laughs) But God told us and we stood on the integrity of the Word of God. All we did was to praise God.
– With this praise today, whatever God has said to you will be fulfilled in your life!
Abraham did not stagger at what God told him. Romans 4:20. ‘Glory to God’ is praise. So the last step to that prophecy to be fulfilled is praise.
Has God said anything to you? It will be fulfilled today!
Even if it’s Abraham’s time, look at our Cathedral, there is enough. Everytime we praise God, ‘shiiii’ (the Building rises). Everytime we praise God, ‘shiiiii’. Church Gist. They brought bills, you heard Samson when he was preaching…When they bring bills, I ‘nor’ shake. It’s not my building.
Everything you hear there, 2 point something million dollars. They call the dollar like they are calling naira. 7 million dollars. They just called (the price of) zinc, 10 million dollars. Sir, this one is five hundred thousand dollars. Church Gist. This one is 3 point 2 million dollars. You won’t hear…everything – dollar, dollar, dollar! When you convert to naira, ‘your head go swell’ if you don’t have faith. It’s not to build (a) house but it’s to finish the house. If it’s ‘block work’, that Cathedral…windows have been fixed, we can enter. You know in the village, people finish (their) house(s) with windows, ‘they enter’. But a man who has money, that’s just the beginning of the house. The finishing cost more than the building. If it’s most Churches, they would enter. Roof has been done, windows have been fixed – we enter. A.C (Air Conditioner) alone is how many billions? A.C alone is (in) billions. Everything is (in) billions. Chair is 7 point something million dollars. Sound – aaah! Everything – million dollars. Okay, put all your offerings since you came to this Church, your tithe – pinch it out of it. Are you under pressure? Nobody! So, it’s praise.
Stop analyzing! “One man is talking, under this economy, he is saying that me, me! Does he know my village? I’m from ‘kpitecrocodile’.” Church Gist. “He is saying that things will work.” No! Stop analyzing issues, just give God praise. How He will do it is not your business.
– You will end this year well. Even if you are from ‘crocodile’, just take ‘crocodile’ and then tie yourself well with praise.
Abraham moved God to fulfill His Word through praise and Sarah gave birth contrary to medical and human verdicts. Medically at 90, it’s impossible to have a child. Hope you know? She…it’s not menopause, her own is ‘papapause’. She has passed menopause and ‘papapause’. Church Gist. Even if she did IVF, it won’t work – at 90! True? But God did it and what was the secret? Praise!
– Whatever men have said it’s impossible, by this Praise, God will make it possible!
Sarah made a statement in Genesis 21:1-6, she said “all that hear will join me to laugh.”
– You will end this year laughing! (What I’m saying is a prophetic word.)
– I say “you will end this year laughing!”
– You will end this year with laughter!
– This year will not end until you laugh!
If you believe it, say Amen!
It takes high praises to get to your high places. God will move you to your high places by high praises.
B. Jehoshaphat.
In 2 Chronicles 20:17, God said to them when three nations came against Judah that they don’t need to fight. He said “you don’t need to fight in this battle.” He said “I will fight for you.” Church Gist. Now, that should make them keep quiet but that could not be fulfilled until in Genesis 20:22 “and when they began to sing and praise, God set an ambushment.” That God said He will do something for you, does not make it automatic until you praise. How many understand the Bible?
Abraham was told but he had to praise. Jehoshaphat was told but he had to praise. So God has said to you “He will do something in your life”, you have to praise. Church Gist. He said He will build the Cathedral but we have to praise. Many people pray, very few praise.
Check the Lord’s prayer! ‘Our Father which art in Heaven’ – praise. ‘The power and the glory’ – praise. He started with praise and ended the Prayer with praise. Church Gist. But many of us will just go to the middle “Father, give me this day my daily bread” – no praise! God says “you are protesting” even though you are a protestant.
– Today, God will fight your battles!
Praiseful saints are never stranded in life. Do you want to see prophecy fulfilled? Then take the power of praise. If you want the prophetic words to be fulfilled in your life, you give God quality praise. Church Gist. Until you understand this aspect of the Bible, you don’t take delivery of what God has said.
God is not joking. He is ready to do what He said He will do but what do you do? What’s your own part? Praise! You know praise is very simple so people don’t take it. People prefer to do 40 days (of) prayer without understanding the Bible than to praise. Church Gist. There are people who have never praised God in their life. In fact, if you say “praise”, they say “only to dance? You mean to dance – is that what will make God do something? Abeg, I’m going to do 40 days (of) dry fast. Dry! ‘You go dry oo’. (Laughs) Dry fast! Don’t try it ooo.
I told a man of God, I said “sir, God saved you, you fasted without eating food for some days. Don’t do it again.” He thought I was joking. He fasted to a point, they lifted him out of the room. So when he told me, I said “sir, don’t do that kind of fast. When you fast, break. He said “no, I will do it.” He has not recovered for almost 8 years now. That’s not wisdom. Church Gist. Dry fast! You did not drink water, you did not eat food, by the 56th day, he was off. Everything in his brain dried up. They carried him as a corpse. Till today, he has not recovered, it’s almost going to 10 years. They have carried him to Germany, they have carried him everywhere. I pray for him. Everyday I keep praying for him, I say “God restore this man, (it’s) out of ignorance this thing happened, please restore him” – everytime from my heart, I keep praying for him…and I pray he will be restored (a great man of God.)
But please, many of us don’t praise, we just fast. You say I’m doing…Have you ever fasted when you want to cross the road, you forgot? (Laughs) I don’t mean you can’t fast. Please, don’t misquote me. But don’t fast to a point where you cannot even carry your legs to move. Dry fast! (Laughs)
One man of God, he said: ‘Papa! Ignorance is bad oo’. I fasted, I fasted! He was going for a crusade, you know that kind of fasting that they used to do out of ignorance, they will not eat for 7 days, 7 days they will not eat, they won’t break. Then he was fasting, then when he got to the crusade he said (Shouting): ‘Praise, the Lord’! He forgot that he was fasting, as he carried (the) microphone, he fainted (Laughing). Church Gist. He said the next thing he heard was: ‘You will not die’! (Laughing). The members were now praying for him, pouring him water (Laughing). ‘You will not die’! He said: ‘Papa! When I opened my eyes, the people there… (Laughing), the building was rotating’. I said: ‘O boy’! He said: ‘The whole building was moving in my eyes so I saw everybody as if their legs were up, their head was down’ (Laughing).
He said when he teaches praise they won’t understand (Laughing). If he comes to Church… He comes here, you won’t know him, I won’t call his name, anytime he comes he will be jumping, he will say: ‘Papa, they don’t know what praise is’. (Laughing). That you teach praise they won’t understand it, me I dance very well because I almost died. Church Gist. Where I came from, we don’t praise, we don’t dance, everything is power’! This Church, we praise God we balance it – We fast, we also praise! When you fast, fast, fast, close it with praise. All those kinds of fasting you just do like this: ‘Ehm’! (Laughing). Please combine the two eh! When you pray, combine it with praise.
-But everything God has said about you will be fulfilled today.
How to praise God for the fulfillment of prophecies.
1. Praise with understanding.
Psalms 47:6-7. Your understanding will ignite faith, will ignite what? Faith!
2. Praise with a joyful heart.
Habakkuk 3:17-18. Sadness can stagnate your life, don’t praise God being depressed. Are you hearing me now? You are not the only one having challenges. Church Gist. People have challenges before they come to Church; use praise to turn the situation around. Look at the Man Joseph, he was kept in prison but he was excited, they accused him falsely, he was excited, he was joyful that was why God took him to the Throne.
-You will get to your own palace.
When you are filled with joy, it is expressed as praise. Luke 2:10-12. Church Gist. Be joyful! At least you have Jesus in your life. Is that not true? If you have nothing, you have Christ. So be joyful.
3. Praise God with His Word.
Psalms 56:10.
4. Praise with faith.
Hebrews 11:6. Until your praise is backed with faith it cannot produce.
-Every prophetic word concerning you and I this year and beyond will be fulfilled in the name of Jesus.
Rise to your feet, shout hallelujah! Has God said anything to you? Then praise God. As you praise God, the Prophetic Word will be fulfilled. Shout a better Amen! Shout a louder Amen! I’ve given you examples, Abraham praised God is that true? Jehoshaphat praised God, this Church did what? Praised God. Look! If it is just tithe and offering, the Cathedral will never be built. Are you hearing me now? It is praise oo, the major secret is what? Praise! It is not tithe and offering, it’s praise. Church Gist. God said it, we went to praise, is that true? And then God is building, God is what? Building. And we are still building other Churches oo, don’t think that because of the Cathedral… Other Churches are still going on. Hope you know? We are still buying properties, life is still going on. Is that true? Bayelsa (Cathedral) is being built, it’s a massive Cathedral, they have a very massive one in Bayelsa. Are you getting what I’m saying now? Other ones are there. We have finished building Benue State (Cathedral), one of the finest Churches, in fact it is about the finest in Makurdi, one of the finest Churches.
We have Churches everywhere, we are buying properties everywhere, it doesn’t affect the Cathedral. Is it your money? How much did you give? Oya calculate your money na? You say: ‘Na my money, calculate the money wey you don give since you come’. One pillar! One pillar of the Cathedral, your own money you give never reach. This is a strong mystery that gives mastery. I want you to forget about how God will do it, it is not your plan. Church Gist. If Abraham began to analyze, you know he wouldn’t have had a child. If Abraham went there and said: ‘Father! You know I’m hundred (years), I’m impotent, how? I can’t sleep with my wife, make I forget’! Nothing would have happened! Because some of us we analyze too much, too much analysis leads to paralysis. ‘With this economy, dollar is one to this’. Now, God, I said I want to go for international business. Visa alone, no way! I have primary 6. Erm! My village is Bolo. Errh! How do I’? You are too stupid to begin to analyze that, leave that one to God.
Your own is: ‘Lord! You said so, now I believe it’! I am giving you praise, make it come to pass’! How He will do it is not your business. How can Jehoshaphat go to war without arms and he won the battles? God said: ‘You don’t need to fight in this battle’. 2 Chronicles 20:17. How can the Cathedral be built without any stress on members? God did it. Is that true? If you say Jehoshaphat is (in the) Bible, now (the) Bible is read to your face, true? Are you hearing me now? Go to that Cathedral! Church Gist. Now, every member, go there! You are free to enter just enter. By the time you move round the Cathedral, you will do like this (Raise up your hands to God), you will be thanking God till you go round. You go see money, raw! You will see raw money! Raw! You go see money dey breathe there (Laughing). Are you getting what I’m saying here? So forget it! I’ve seen God enough to doubt Him. Are you going to praise God?
