-Today is the last Sunday in the month of July, you will end this month well! Ecclesiastes 7:8. He will make all things better for you and I today.
—PRAYERS—-
God will bless His Word in the name of Jesus! Just a wisdom word: When God tells you of a seed, just know He has a harvest in mind for you. Church Gist. Every time God says: ‘Sow this seed’, already He has prepared a harvest. Because He knows that seedtime and harvest will not cease so He only reminds you of the seed because of the harvest He has prepared for you. Every time God tells you: ‘Sow a seed, He already has a harvest in mind’ Genesis 8:22. Praise the Lord!
We are still in the month of: ‘Living a Praiseful Life’. Next Sunday is Impartation for Wisdom. In August, we are talking about wisdom, it is the principal thing, every other thing is vice principal. THE WONDERS OF PRAISE! But today we are looking at ‘PRAISE FOR PERFECTION’. Wonders means exciting admiration, perfection means the act of improving on something until it becomes faultless. How many of you yesterday won souls? Church Gist. How many of you went for Evangelism yesterday? God will reward all of you. My wife told me that 8 of our souls came for First Service, my team and I, six of her own souls, my own seven. You know why? Everyone should win souls because when we get to Heaven there is no husband and wife.
We went out yesterday, we went to the ghettos, real ghettos – where there were slums, where the road is not tarred. Go and win souls! Some of you, your Christianity is: “God, give me this, give me this! When will you give God something’? ‘Oh God, give me appointment, give my brother disappointment’! When will you have time for God? Church Gist. Everything, ‘God give me car, give me money, give me car’. No! Christianity has turned to material things alone. Do you know there are people who don’t believe when we talk about Heaven? As if everything is on the earth, no! Heaven is real! Let’s not live our lives without thinking of Heaven. While we are thinking of earthly success we should also think of making Heaven!

That’s one prayer you should be praying every day that no matter what it takes, you must make Heaven.
Perfection also means extreme excellence. Praise is exalting, magnifying and extolling the name of God in words, songs and dance for His greatness. Church Gist. Praise for perfection means: ‘Celebrating and exalting God for who He is, what He has done, what He will do in songs and dance, to commit Him to do things extremely well, amazing and complete for you’. Psalms 106:12 (NLT), if you believe the Word of God then sing praise!
-Whatever promise of God that you believe and receive; as you praise God today, He will fulfill it in your life.
Any Word of God that you and I believe and receive, all we need to do is to praise Him for the Word and that Scripture will be fulfilled in our lives – That was what Abraham did. Abraham, God told him he was going to be a father of many nations, that he was going to have a child in old Church Gist. And Abraham believed the Word of God and sang praises to God and God made Isaac to be born.
-Today, your own Isaac will be released in the name of Jesus.
Anything God has told you, just praise Him and He will complete it. Romans 4:17, 20-21- This was the promise of God to Abraham. Church Gist. Even when things were looking contrary, he believed the Word of the Lord. Then there was no Bible, God always ‘spoke’ for Him to hear, now you will see the Bible, you will read. So any promise of God you see and believe and you receive it and you praise God for it, it becomes a reality in your life. Glory to God.
Romans 4:19, don’t allow circumstances make you doubt God. If God has said anything, don’t doubt what God has said. Has God said you will get married? Stand in the integrity of the Word, don’t doubt no matter what is happening and praise God for it, it will come to pass. Church Gist. Has God said He will heal you? stand on the integrity of the Word of God and praise God it will come to pass. Anything God has said, stand on the integrity of the Word.
-Today, whatever God has spoken to you as you stand on that Word, it will be a reality to you in your life.
So praise provokes the fulfillment of the promises of God. Another example in the Bible is Mary, the mother of Jesus Luke 1: 28, 30, 31, 45-47. ‘Blessed art thou amongst women…’ Luke 1:28 – This is a promise to Mary! Church Gist. God promised her, it does not mean that it has happened. In Luke 1:45, the first thing that she did was to believe, God has made a promise to you, what do you do? Believe it. Don’t doubt the promise of God. Don’t say: ‘Hey! Will this thing happen’? Anything God says to you and you stand on the integrity of that Word, you commit God to perform it. Do you believe that whatever God says will come to pass?
-Today, everything God has said to you and I will come to pass.
Now, after she (Mary) believed, see where she praised God Luke 1:46. Anything God says to you, praise is the last step to the manifestations of every Word spoken to you. Mary was the one who praised in Luke 1:46-47. After God told her that she will have a child, she now praised God. So praise is the last step for every promise of God to be fulfilled.
If God promised you and you don’t praise Him, it will still not be fulfilled. Everyone that has an exceptional miracle – Abraham, Mary, they praised God. For unconventional miracles, praise must be involved. Church Gist. If God has told you something extraordinary, you have to end it with praise! Because if Abraham never praised God, Isaac wouldn’t have been born. If Mary didn’t praise God, Jesus wouldn’t have been born – Jesus could have been born through another woman, He (God) would have picked another person. But Mary believed the Bible and believed God and gave God praise.
-May your praise today bring forth a testimony that will shake nations.
If you look at the birth of Jesus, I will come back to Luke 1:32-33, there were three outstanding things about Jesus. Luke 1:32, ‘He shall be great…’ Who is that? Jesus! Church Gist. That means as the Father sent Him, He sent us. Is that true? He said: ‘He shall be great’.
-That means greatness shall be our portion.
Three things:
i. Greatness
Ii. A throne
iii. He will reign
And these three things happened to Jesus and they will happen to you and I. But if you want these things to happen you must give God praise. Mary? Yes, it was said to her, but that God has said something to you does not mean it must happen automatically if you don’t complete that which He has said to you with praise. Church Gist. He said to Abraham, you are going to be a father of many nations but Abraham was strong in faith giving glory to God. Some things God has said to you in the natural, they look impossible.
-Now as you praise God today being the last Sunday, everything God has promised you and I, He will fulfill it in your lives.
Declarations: I will be great, I have a place, I will reign in the name of Jesus.
So praise God for His Word concerning that situation for God to perform it. Stop focusing on the problem, what do you do? Praise God. Instead of focusing on the problem, praise God for God to perfect and make it happen. Abraham would have been focusing on not having a child but he switched to focusing on the promise of God. Church Gist. Many times, instead of focusing on the promise of God, we focus on the problem so the promises are not fulfilled. Now, Abraham would have focused on problems in the natural, true? But Abraham switched over to focusing on the promise by giving God praise. Stop focusing on unemployment, focus on the Word of God: ‘It shall be well with them, they shall eat the fruit of their doings’.
-Now, God will make it happen.
Stop focusing on the sickness, focus on Matthew 8:17 and then God will make it happen. Church Gist. In Psalms 138:1, 2, 8 – I’m going to praise Him so that He can perfect that which concerns me.
-By the praise today, whatever concerns us God will perfect it.
So praise guarantees perfection. It guarantees error-free, faultless, flawless delivery of the acts of God. When you praise God, He perfects things.
-And today God will perfect them.
Will you behave like Mary, will you behave like Abraham? Not minding what is happening, focus on the promise of God and then give God praise. If I was to focus on the natural, I will never praise God when we started this Ministry. Many of you are meeting this Ministry at this point so you don’t know how we started. Sometimes it’s good to know the stories of how we started. Church Gist. When we started, we started from a sitting room where the sitting room was also a bedroom for some people because there were members who had no houses so they sleep there in the morning, they remove their things and park them upstairs, shower quick and there… Benches were kept, benches! We used benches when we started, wooden chairs! Of course abroad (Those in the Western world) you may not know. It’s a wooden chair with no padded, no foam on it, no backrest. You need to see the lectern, the lectern was one kind of wood they did and we can’t use wood like that, if you mistakenly touch it, it will fall. We did it like that.
It (The sitting room) was one convenience inside, you know how a sitting room duplex is with one convenience. Nobody said: ‘Oh God! Why will You do like this’? Then from there when we grew we now went to a tarpaulin we can’t call that one canopy. I don’t know what to call it, whether it is between canopy or what? It’s not tent, it’s canopy, okay! Canopy that if breeze comes, it will lift it up and down so that Service will be going on, it will lift it up and down, it will shake small and you say: ‘Praise God’! We didn’t use microphone. Do you know we didn’t use speaker till one year of this Church? Church Gist. No, this one was here! We have grown here nah. In Plot 35, I will bring those pictures, I still have them. We used microphone and speaker for the first time in our one year anniversary. A member here, a young man donated it. If you say: ‘Praise’, it will cease, you have to wait for it to release before you talk again – Your voice will be louder than the microphone so when you say: ‘Praise, you just have to be very careful’. If you say: ‘Praise’, the speaker will just cease then you allow it to come out then you now continue, we were dancing because of His promises.
The floor was kernel shell, it was not cemented, it was kernel. They just pour kernels so that when rain falls you can have where to put your legs. The altar? Is it altar? It was wood like that we carved. On top the wood! You stand on top, we now put one kind of funny rug like that and then we were not saying: ‘Oh! God, why would we be like this’? My wife and I were on the foam, when people were talking. They better know where we started – Our foam was on the floor. Church Gist. One day, two Bishops in Port-Harcourt walked in, pot was on the floor, no cupboard but I didn’t say: ‘Oh God, why did you call us? Why did we see it like that? It didn’t mean anything to us, I didn’t even see it, I saw the promises and not the problems. Those who see problems have not seen promises, when you focus on the promises the problems go off. If you are magnifying your problems you have not focused on the promises. Stop magnifying challenges!
You are not the first person who has gone through challenges. No, we have stayed without food. Are you hearing me now? We have stayed without food and there was offering of Church we didn’t use offering to eat, we have stayed without food there was offering of Church, we didn’t touch it, we have stayed without food – Morning we sip garri, afternoon we sip garri to power 3 and I never complain one day, God is my witness. Church Gist. Never one day did I say, ‘Oh God, you called me into Ministry, see the way I am suffering’, never! Not even in my heart did I complain. I knew that, that was a phase and it would come to pass! You are passing through a phase, you know what God is going to do? So that when your testimony comes you can share it big.
Sometimes you go through all these things so that when you tell people something they can also know that God is faithful. If God does not take you through, how would He be magnified? You stayed one day, no transport money and you trek home, God is telling you: ‘One day, you will buy cars for people’. So that when you are buying cars you say: ‘You know what? There was a time I trekked! So don’t give up’! So the person too can know that God can make it happen. Are you getting what I am saying? Don’t allow circumstances make you do like this! No! Don’t do like that! Just put your hand on your jaw as if the world has ended, no! It has not ended. It’s only a phase! Stop looking at where you are now, start looking at the promises of God. And say: ‘God I thank you and I glorify your name because you make things happen’.
-And I pray for you, it will happen. They have mocked you. Your mates have all married, relax! When you marry, nations will shake!
There are three things to every man who wants to experience a miracle:
1. Persecution
2. Mockery
3. Insult
They mocked Jesus! They will persecute you! People will persecute you the way they did with Joseph, they will say all manner of things against you – Just know that you are close to your big lifting. When you see those signs, you are very close to a miracle. Church Gist. False accusation is one of the last steps to a miracle, they accused Joseph falsely, they mocked Jesus openly. They said: ‘If you are the Son of God…’ If nobody has mocked you, then you are not ready for a miracle. They will mock you, they will ask you: ‘This Bible you are carrying sef, we have not seen anything. Every day you carry Bible to Church, everyday you go to Church, every morning you bath’ – Just know you are there. That’s not the time to say: ‘God, look at…’, just say: ‘Father, you are ever faithful’.
-And the same mockers will eat on your table. You will give all your mockers food to eat. Before this year is over, those who mocked you will beg from you.
Don’t mind what is happening now, praise God focusing on the promises of God. The ones telling you, ‘Good for nothing’ very soon they will know that you are good for something. Sometimes God takes us through some processes for a testimony. Testimony is simply a test that will bring you good money, you are going through all these tests because good money is coming. Church Gist. Relax yourself! What have you seen? People have seen things oo. I know some people came to this Church koboless, battered, shattered, scattered and today they are multi billionaires. Relax yourself! Nsogbu adighi! Nsogbu adighi is Igbo language in Nigeria, ‘nothing spoil’.
-God will perfect all that concerns me, I will focus on the promises of God. I will not look at any problem, I will not allow problems to weigh me down. His promises are more real than any problem.
In Luke 17:12-19, that’s the key Scripture. Leprosy connotes anything that causes you to distance yourself from people. In the New Testament, they (Lepers) were not allowed to mingle with others. Do you know there is a level of poverty that you would not want to go to the village, hope you know? Church Gist. It has become like leprosy, when they say: ‘Go village, you say abeg no worry eh next time’. Not because you don’t want to go but because even if you go you don’t even have a place to stay, it has become like leprosy.
-But today it will be over! When they say: ‘Come for wedding’, you say: ‘If I go this wedding now they go ask, wey my husband’? Church Gist. So you begin to hide from them. Whatever that makes you hide your face from them, God will turn it to a testimony. Sometimes you get so broke that they say: ‘Will you eat’? You say: ‘No, I’m not hungry’. Not that you are not hungry but because you can’t buy the food.
-But all those shall end before this year is over.
I’m speaking because I’ve gone through that route in life before. Church Gist. That I’m here, I know what I’ve gone through in life.
-I don’t care where the level you are today, whatever makes you look like a leper, I decree it to end in your life! Church Gist. Anything that makes you hide your face, makes you distance yourself from people, it will end in a miracle and testimony.
Luke 17:14, what you don’t cry to God for He will not answer you. They said: ‘We are lepers, men has forsaken us, Jesus you can’t forsake us’. If everybody forsake you just know Jesus can’t forsake you. Have you come to cry to Him? For your praise today, He will give you attention in the name of Jesus because He is the same yesterday today and forever more. There was no where when men forsook people that Jesus didn’t give attention to them Luke 17:14. He said: ‘Go and show yourself to the Priest’, but He is the Priest’ Himself – The High Priest! In Luke 17:15-16, one of them turned and praised God. You know why he turned? Church Gist. Out of the ten, he was the only one that had a revelation. He said: ‘Why will I go and tell the Priest when you are the one who healed me? You are the real Priest. ‘If I’m to go to anybody, it should be you who made it happen’. So others were just excited religiously. When you people are coming to Church, don’t be like the nine, just know Jesus is the answer. He said: ‘No, I won’t go to anybody, I will come to you who did it’. Jesus said: ‘Waoh! You got a revelation of who I am! And He said: ‘What others did not get, I give it to you’!
-Today, recognizing the Lordship of Jesus over your life will bring a testimony of a lifetime!
You know the Jews were full of themselves. Church Gist. Sometimes we get too close and familiar with God that when things happen, we don’t even return back to say to God: ‘Thank you’!
-Has God begun anything in you? Has God started any good thing in you? Church Gist. He will perfect it today!
Luke 17:17, ‘…Were there not ten cleansed? But where are the nine’? That means God keeps record of when He does something for you. He said: ‘Out of ten of you, how come only you came back’? Look! Don’t wait till something finish before you praise God, that’s where we miss it. While the thing is in the process, give God praise! He was the only one! Okay, you are saying you want to marry yet the money is not complete, now you have proposed, proposing is enough for you to thank God so that the money can come. Don’t say: ‘When every money complete na I will thank God’. Church Gist. No! Just proposing and that thanksgiving is what will bring miracle job, bring miracle breakthrough, bring miracle money everything you are looking for, for the wedding. Is that true Sir? Don’t wait till everything is complete, no!!! This man recognized it! You recognizing what God has started in your life will bring perfection in the name of Jesus! So only those who will praise will have testimony Luke 17:19.
Declarations: I have come like the one leper to glorify God for the perfection of all that He has started in my life and in Salvation Ministries.
You know where we are coming from? Philippians 6:1. He began a good work in Abraham’s life and He performed it. He began a good work in Mary’s life and He performed it. Has God begun anything in your life? Focus on one thing! Has God begun the healing process? Has God begun the deliverance process? Has God begun the blessing process? Every thing God has begun, focus on it, look at that issue and say: ‘Lord, I am praising you! By this praise, perfect it’! That you got admission letter to school, don’t wait for school fees, praise Him that He has begun it then He will now bring the school fees. Are you getting me? He has begun something! You are married? He has begun something! Fruitfulness will come! Yes, you have put in an application, the application is the ‘beguning’, He has begun! Now believe that you will get a miracle work for your life.

Do you believe God’s Word, how many believe the Word of God? Rise to your feet!
