PROSPERING WITH THE WORD – PART 2. Abundant living begins with the prosperity of the soul 3 John 2. So your mental prosperity is what determines your actual prosperity because the soul is made up of the will, emotions and the mind. Psalms 24:1, Haggai 2:8, so your father is super wealthy, you cannot live like a pauper. But sitting down, God gave me a very good illustration. He said: ‘Charles, who is now King Charles, did not struggle to enjoy what he is enjoying because he was born into a very royal family in Britain’. You are born again to the most royal family in the world – God’s family and if your Father is the owner of the silver and gold… Church Gist. Prince Charles does not beg; when he wants to travel, they bring a private jet, a special jet for him to fly. And the Airforce of Britain stands by him to go with him because he was born into royalty. You are born into royalty! Is that true? He has made us Kings and Priests and you shall reign on the earth. Is that true? 1 Peter 2:9. So are you born into the royal family of God.
-Now, whatever benefit that is due you in this family that belongs to you, be released right now!
Declaration: My Father is super wealthy, I refuse to live like a pauper.
God speaking in Acts 10:34-35, Romans 10:12, 2 Corinthians 8:9… If you believe Jesus became sin to make you righteous, why don’t you believe that he became poor to make you rich? You believe one part of the Gospel. The part of the Gospel you believe is what benefits you. If you believe Jesus died for your sins, also believe He died for you not to be poor. Somebody said: ‘Prosperity preachers’!, I said: ‘Before, will I teach poverty? I’m a prosperity preacher’. Church Gist. Let anybody say it; the person is correct. Before, what would I teach? Will I teach poverty? God forbid! I’m a prosperity preacher no doubt and I will preach it till my time on earth is over. This Commission will preach prosperity even the person who will take over from me, we can’t stop, it is one of the pillars of this Commission. They say, ‘He likes preaching prosperity, before what will I preach? Poverty’? Because nature abhors vacuum, you either preach sickness or you preach health. It’s a typical choice, here not poverty! The Gospel of Jesus is universal, no preferential treatment whether black, yellow, green – The same Gospel.
-No matter the hardship, your case will be different.
Romans 12:1, don’t allow what they are saying in the world affect your mind. Romans 12:2, refuse poverty mentality because as a man thinketh in his heart so is he. So if you think poverty, you will be poor. Now listen carefully, can King Charles think poverty? But listen, get your mind correct, he belongs to Britain. Which family do you belong to? No! Sometimes we get too religious! God’s family? Who should be richer? Church Gist. Then why are you thinking poor? God will never take you beyond your mind Ephesians 3:20. I think big so I’m big. If King Charles should be living big, then I should live bigger. Oh my God! The royal family I belong to are the wealthiest family, my Father is not poor and He can never be poor, He is the wealthiest of all.
Let the Bible become your dream mark, if you want to dream then dream the Bible. Genesis 13:14-16, God is saying from the level where you are now, lift your eyes and see what is in this Book, ‘That you came from the highest royal family of God’, that is your Father and that is my Father Haggai 2:8. He said, ‘If you can see it, I will give it to you but if you can’t see it, you will remain like Lazarus’! If you see it, you will enjoy like Abraham. Church Gist. You are not the sons of Lazarus you are the sons of Abraham. If you want to be Lazarus, remain Lazarus! Me I will never be ‘Laz’ and I will never be ‘rus’. I better live like Abraham not like Lazarus because every transformation begins in the mind. Renew your mind for your life to be transformed. True prosperity begins with you having the Word of God in your heart.
Job 22:21-24, He says if you put God’s Word in your heart, you will lay money like dust. Hear this, prosperity does not answer to those who ask for it, it answers to those who are connected to the covenant. Church Gist. Crave after God and not after money Mark 12:30, 1 Kings 3:13.
-May God give you what you never ask for, that no King on earth will be compared to you.
Matthew 12:42b, so if Solomon did not ask for money and he was the wealthiest in his time, so you don’t ask for money to be wealthy, you love God to be wealthy. The answer in these hard times is to operate in the covenant. Understand that God’s plan for you is to prosper but operating on the platform called, ‘Covenant’! Matthew 16:19. Church Gist. The key for healing is not the key for prosperity, every one has a key. I can use prayers to be healed but I can’t use prayers to prosper. Prosperity is by covenant. I can cast out demons from a man possessed but I can’t cast out demons from a man who is poor. Are you hearing, Sir? Don’t allow religion kill you!
What is a Covenant?
In this term, a covenant can be defined as a spiritual platform where you commit God to make good his promise by your obedience of faith. You obey God by faith so you commit God to do what He has said He will do Psalms 89:34. Hear this and hear me well, there is no promise of God that does not have the condition attached to it. Church Gist. As simple as Salvation, you must open your mouth to confess it, that’s the condition. Is that true? If you say you will not confess Jesus, you will never be saved Romans 10:9. There is nothing in the Kingdom that God does not attach a particular condition to it. To prosper, you must walk in the covenant, to have peace in your family. The man must love his wife, the woman must submit to her husband, that is the condition Ephesians 5:22. For a Church to grow, the Church must be prayerful and they must be Word loaded. Everything has condition! Mark 13:31.
-May God’s Word produce in your life right now!
What are the covenant channels for prosperity?
1. Tithing Malachi 3:10
The first place God says ‘Prove Me’. He didn’t say, ‘Prove Me in prayer, in tithe’! Do you know? Church Gist. Not paying tithe is a sign of greed, it’s not because you don’t have money. You are greedy! Malachi 3:11, I will rebuke the devourer and make sure ‘Obio-Akpor’ don’t close your shop or Lagos Island Municipal Council. Obio-Akpor, find out where they are in the map.
-May the blessing of God rest upon a faithful tither Malachi 3:12.
Let me say this: Those who get angry with tithing never come out of tightness. Na tithe em wan dey preach? You no go come out of suffering oo. You can’t enjoy abundance if you are angry with tithing. Tithing is your major access to financial fortune. For instance, this is a compound, it has more than two halls, plus the overflow which has multiple halls, the tent. Is that true? Church Gist. Now, before you enter this Church, is there gate? That gate, if it’s locked, can you have access? Tithing is the gate to Kingdom wealth, if you jump through you are a thief. The gate to your Kingdom wealth before every other thing is what? Tithing. That gate must be open before you have access to the compound. Tithing is the gate, if you don’t pay, the gate remains locked, your suffering notwithstanding, your cry will not move God. Are you hearing me? If you don’t pay tithe, God will never be moved by your tears.
2. Quality offering
After you now open the gate, you now open the auditorium with offering, then you get seat, otherwise… Tithe is where the gate is, then offering is where you enter the main house Proverbs 11:24. When your hand is tight, poverty has come oo. Listen, you must sow to the harvest size you desire. Within those period when things are tough, I increased my offering. Now, in the natural, offering should decrease now because things are tough, true? My offering increased now, so because I wanted life to also what? Increase. You must plant what you expect to harvest. If you expect to harvest songs, then plant songs, then everybody will be singing for you. If you are expecting to harvest money? Church Gist. Yam will produce what? Can you plant yam and get corn?
So you don’t plant sweeping of Church to get money – Sanctuary keeper. You don’t plant ushering to get money, you don’t plant preaching to get money – Pastor. Let me preach from now till tomorrow, if I don’t give, I will be poor. Have you not seen poor preachers? Genesis 8:22 ‘…seedtime and harvest shall not cease’, except you want to cease yourself. So your harvest size is determined by your seed. And the first law of harvest is to plant your seed, until your seed is planted. Without your seed being planted, there will be no harvest. ‘Oh! God, nothing dey happen! ‘Wetin you put down’? Unplanted seeds do not have any benefits. A farmer that keeps his seed in a store, will it grow in a farm? Money you have not sown cannot reproduce. Luke 6:38. Don’t give! Nobody will give to you, God too will not give to you!
3. Prophet offering
I said to the Holy Ghost, ‘I don’t want to teach it’. He said: ‘If you don’t teach it, you don’t tell them the secret’! – Prophet offering! You can never prosper without a Prophet 2 Chronicles 20:20. I won’t talk so much on that one. I taught so much on it two Sundays ago Hebrew 7:7. I stop there, if you like, you give. I have three safes in my house – One tithe, one offering, one Prophet offering. When I push to tithe, push to offering, push to Prophet offering. That’s why I can never be broke, the three of them, safe. Church Gist. Your tithe is my regular offering, my offering is ten percent, I won’t tell you my tithe but I don’t pay ten percent tithe, I won’t teach you that one, every money I get. In fact these days I don’t even pay ten, my P.A is there. I pay far beyond ten, for every money I get! That is what you are struggling to pay as tithe oo, me I pay more than ten percent as offering. My tithe is not fifteen percent, I won’t tell you the percentage, I’m on another level. I won’t tell you what I pay as tithe. If I pay ten percent, God will flog me. Me pay tithe of ten percent for what? You pay ten percent that’s the recommended one but me, I’m at another level. You know? O-level Biology says: ‘All living things move’! A-level says: ‘Sea animal does not move’! You are doing O-level prosperity, pay tithe first because even the tithe sef, you are struggling. I didn’t start it today, I started it the day there was no dime, that’s how I came out of poverty.
Don’t think, ‘Eh! Now em get money na so e go fit pay’. I was doing it, now my wife is a witness. We were doing it from fifty naira, that’s how we came out of poverty. You will never come out of poverty giving regular offering. Don’t allow people pity you, you are not inside pit. All this sympathy, ‘Nobody dey send me sorry’, are you in sorrow? Church Gist. Come out of poverty with your own giving. Let me tell you, nobody who pity you can bring you out. You don’t beg your way out of poverty, you give your way out of poverty. I’ve been poor before so don’t tell me your own is the worst. Fifty naira as a married man, some of you are not even married.
Fifty naira! But we sowed the fifty naira to a Prophet, Heavens opened. I’m telling you what I’ve handled! Raw something! Don’t tell me, ‘Papa no know say things tough’? Me too I’ve gone through tough time. So I’m telling you what works oo, this is not theory. This is what works! There is no, ‘Tumbo-Tumbo-burst-Calabar’ here. You rather take it or leave it, I’m telling you raw truth! If you do deliverance to come out of poverty, it will never work! Let them push your head, you will just be getting up and falling down. You will remain poor, demons can go but money no go come. Eh! Are you hearing what I’m talking about? Glory to God.
Okay! You say, ‘I’ve been giving’!
When does God respond to our giving?
Galatians 6:7-9, God said: ‘Don’t stop’! Sometimes you get to a point where you want to be tired, He said, ‘Don’t get tired, you will definitely get it.
-And I pray, you will get your own’!
So, it is not the day you plant, so patience is required. God said: ‘Don’t be weary’! Sometimes you give to a point where one more giving, Heaven opens, keep giving! God will not respond to you because times are hard; God will only respond to you when your cloud is full of rain Ecclesiastes 11:3. Let me give you elementary A, B, C, ‘… when the cloud is full’! So this is what God is saying, ‘Assuming I need one kilogram of what will go to the cloud’. You know? One thousand grams makes one kilogram, so if I need one thousand grams of offering for my rain to fall which is one kilogram and I give one gram per Service. When will my rain fall? Church Gist. One thousand Services, that can be a lifetime. Now if I give five hundred grams, when will my rain fall? Two Services! And if I give one thousand grams, when will my rain fall? 1 Service.
Now, this is how it works, there are people who have been giving one gram and they are crying for rain to fall. God said, ‘No! When your cloud is full! Don’t pray! It will come’! Now, if you go to coastal regions like River State in Nigeria, Florida in America – They have water so vapour is very high. The rain that falls in coastal region is higher than Sokoto, Kaduna and Zamfara true? Because they don’t have that kind of water. Church Gist. So the amount of ‘Vapourization’ will determine the amount of ‘Raination’, more vapour, more rain. Are you getting me now? So if I want rain to fall, what do I do? I take a lot to the Heavens, woooh! Now, I’m going to tell you how it works! So if rain has not fallen, your cloud is empty, it is not because of the economy your cloud is empty. And some of you have been born again for years, you have not given good offering so the cloud has been empty for years – So you have more work to do.
That’s how some people will just come to Church for one week, ‘Kpa-kpa’, they hear this kind of Message and you have been born again for 10 years and you have been giving ‘krin-krin-krin!!’. God will not write off the 10 years, it is recorded, so you have more work to do. You say, ‘Papa preached, I dey give but I don’t know wetin come happen’? Church Gist. The other 10 years nko? Didn’t they make altar call’? So you have more work to do than the brother who just became born again, who just ‘Gbim’. That’s why some people will say, ‘This bad boy wey just come Church, see as em dey prosper, me wey dey go Church? You dey go Church, you dey give’? Don’t use your ‘Holiness’ to confuse everybody.
We have different levels of returns:
1. Seven years return
If you give consistently for seven years, it will bring an end to financial slavery, you will never for life suffer again. That’s the realm some of us have entered Deuteronomy 15:1-2. Church Gist. That means you pay tithe non-stop, you pay quality offering non-stop for seven years, that’s the end of slavery. You will never be broke again for life, that’s how it works.
2. Five years return
This is what we call the fruitful season, where you become fruitful. You are comfortable but not that you have really arrived. If you do it consistently for five years Leviticus 19:25-29. Church Gist. So you eat in the fifth year, that period, you will never suffer no matter the hardship. No how! Even if fuel like make em cost one thousand, there must be a way out.
3. Annual return
When you are consistent for one year Genesis 26:12. When you are consistent for one year, God will bless you. Church Gist. You will get breakthrough after one year.
4. Many days return
Ecclesiastes 11:1-3. When you full the cloud, that’s many days, between some weeks, you will see breakthrough. ‘Waaaah! Breakthrough’!
5. One day return
That one day, when you give the same day, you will get it. That was the type Abraham did in Genesis 22:5-18 when he took Isaac and God said, ‘By myself I swore’! Church Gist. Nobody will swear again, He cannot say, ‘True to God to Himself’! ‘Abraham, I’m going to bless you that nobody will ever match you’! Noah gave an offering Genesis 8:20-22 and Heavens opened. It is because that one-day return is sacrificial giving. I have entered that before.
Life story! One day, my Personal Assistant was with me and I had dollars in my house. I said: ‘Bring every dollar I have’, he brought them and I said: ‘Sow all’! I had paid tithe and offering before oo. I had given already – Tithe, offering, Prophet offering. I had given the dollar, ten percent offering then I won’t tell you the tithe. My tithe is in percentage higher, I had brought them already but I said: ‘Sow everything here’! In less than two hours, somebody came with a bundle of dollars, same day! Big dollars the same day! I hit Heaven, Heaven responded! Church Gist. That kind of offering, we give it! We shake Heaven where Heaven has no choice, the same day! Not once, I’ve done it over and over. I will just say, ‘Bring every money I have and I will just sow all’!
When they say giving, don’t think giving is comfortable, so you have to do it. If you want something you’ve never gotten, you have to do something you have never done. If you give at your comfort zone, you will never be prosperous. All prosperous people give at a point where they are not comfortable. Listen, it is not: ‘Oh! God see the way I dey suffer’! God will never be moved by your suffering, He will be moved by your giving. This is the truth! People don’t like this kind of truth, you know? They want make I pity you now, e no know fuel dey cost? God does not have pity, He does not pity people, He tests you. Okay! Did God cry when He lost you? Did God cry when He lost all of us to satan? Who did He give? Jesus! Who is Jesus? His only Son as at that time and you don’t want to give your only money! Why didn’t He say, ‘I am the Almighty God! I have power of Heaven and earth, now satan take your hands off’! God no do so oo, God said: ‘This is the principle, as long as this earth remaineth, Jesus go as my seed to get others’! You too, give your seed.
If God cannot break Scriptures, you now you wan break Scripture. God Almighty no fit break Scripture for Himself. God can do anything, why e no break Scripture? Why e no say: ‘I am God! Satan, take your hands off my children now’! He had to give His only best. You now, you dey cry for room dey kneel down, ‘God! See the way I dey suffer na’! God say: ‘If you dey suffer, Me too, I been dey suffer, I give my own son’! You know? People like religion. As you come now, you know say, ‘Eh! God go help you eh’! They pity you for how many years now, story don change? I go tell you truth oo. Me too, I suffer oo, I never tell you say as a married man na fifty naira I get we dey sip garri for house. I give the fifty naira, I no go tell my wife, ‘See nah, na God call us we dey suffer, no’! Me too I do am so, fifty naira. Church Gist. You na fifty naira you get? And we have taken a decision not to borrow! This thing is not the thing of, ‘God show mercy on us’! Mercy does not work! Seedtime, not mercy time and harvest. He didn’t say crying and harvest. I can cry for God to heal you, I can’t cry for God to give you money’! If I cry for you from now till tomorrow, you go dey poor. This is the secret!
Jesus went to the tomb of Lazarus, He cried! John 11:35. Did you see where He cried for those who have not eaten? He said, ‘Bring me loaves’! He had to have something as a point of contact. Did He need point of contact for Lazarus? But when it came to prosperity, He said: ‘Bring me loaves’! Because no way God will multiply what you’ve given Him. He said: ‘Father, I thank you, I’m releasing these five loaves, multiply it’! Without a material seed, there will be no material harvest. Your seed is a spiritual transaction that provokes Heaven’s intervention, it is what provokes supernatural favour. The best time to sow is during times of crisis. Refusing to sow destroys your ability to expect a miracle. Nothing is going to change for you financially except you sow. Millions are hoarded during crises, it is the most unwise thing to do. If you sow during hard times, God will be moved to release your harvest.
Declaration: Father, from today I will be a giver, I refuse to be stingy. Every form of stinginess, selfishness, destroy it in my life. By the power of the Holy Ghost. I want to be like You, I want to be like Jesus who gave his life, I want to be like my Pastor who likes to give. I don’t want to be stingy, that stingy spirit that I got from my parents! Today, I destroy you in the Name of Jesus.
Oil Ministration:
Genesis 47:13-27
-I decree the Spirit of God rests upon that oil in the Name of Jesus!
-No matter the hardship in the land where you are, you will be distinguished.
-No matter what will be happening to the world, you will be laughing in this season.
-You will rise in the Name of Jesus.
-You will not beg to eat in the Name of Jesus. I decree a supernatural provision for you in the Name of Jesus!
– Now, I declare you to come to your own wealthy place.
-From this day, the Egyptians who hated you before, will end up favouring you.
-Emptiness has ended in someone’s life in the Name of Jesus!
-From today, any way you go for employment, you go for appointment, others will bow to you.
-I decree favour to become your clothing.
-The time to favour you have come!
-Everything resisting your breakthrough be subdued, gates that was shut be opened in the Name of Jesus.
-Everything not going well will go well.
-Everything stopping you, God will break it open.
-The hidden treasures be released unto you in the Name of Jesus.
-The Holy Ghost will give you divine ideas to create wealth in the Name of Jesus.
-I decree, anywhere you and I shall appear, favour will make us stand out.
-I decree, by this anointing, favour coming upon you will make you not to be destroyed.
-Appear anywhere! In the Name of Jesus, that place you will appear, you will be the first to be honoured.
A man walked to my office and said: ‘Sir, you prayed for me some years back’. I had an opportunity to become a Senator I said I’m not going to go to the Senate, I stand on the prayer you offered for me’. He’s in one of the parastatals where they control one of the biggest monies in Nigeria. He said: ‘I must come and tell you people and thank God so that they will know that it’s good to stand on the Word of God. He was preaching to me as a sinner, I was looking at him, he was preaching to me. He said: ‘Sir, when you prayed that prayer, I stood’! A member here brought him. Now, if God can give favour to those even outside, then you that is inside? He’s controlling billions. He said: ‘Sir, I saw favour and so when they tell me to be a Senator, I said, ‘No! I don’t want to be a Senator’! For a man to reject a Senatorial position, then what he is seeing is bigger – Billions! He said when you prayed for me and said, ‘I will be…, it delayed a little and now I’m here’!
-Now, in the Name of Jesus! No matter the crowd, after today God will distinguish you! -You will be the first person that God will favour.
Declaration: Every Word declared comes to pass in my life. If Saul found favour, I will also be favoured.
-What you never asked for, they will give to you!
-When you are asking for one, they will give you ten.
-People in authority will fall to favour us in the Name of Jesus!
