NO LIFE WILL BE ANY MORE MEANINGFUL THAN IT IS THANKFUL.
WE HELD A CITYWIDE CRUSADE IN KADUNA IN 1983 AND ONLY 63 PEOPLE CAME.
24 OUT OF THAT 63 PEOPLE CAME WITH US FROM OUR BASE. WE GAVE THANKS TO GOD WITH GENUINE SMILES.
TODAY WE HAVE MEGA CHURCHES SPREAD ACROSS KADUNA.

Lift your hands to heaven and give God thanks for this new month. Last month was someone’s month, this month is your month.
Lord Jesus thank you for another month, thank you for another month. Every month has its own manner of fruit, let the fruit ordained for this month answer in the life of everyone. Church Gist. It is a month of testimonies let it be for everyone in Jesus’ precious name.
In the growth of the Church lies the glory of the saints. Jeremiah 30:19-21. Proverbs 14:28. 1 Samuel 2:30. We provoke God’s honour through our engagement in the growth process. God has a part, His part is the increase. Our part is to plant and to water. 1 Corinthians 3:6. So everyone who is a part of the planting and watering secures honour from God and when God honours a man no devil can dishonour him. 1 Samuel 2:30. God is the King of kings so He deserves multiple honour. Jesus went to the cross to draw all men, not most men. John 12:32, 3:16. Church Gist. God doesn’t want anyone to perish in the world so when we are a part of that soul winning and ingathering process we have committed God to honour us and so I know many people here shall enjoy practical honour from God. Not arranged or organized mechanical honour, the honour that comes from God is coming on your life. Nobody asked whether David had any military training, he brought down Goliath. They made him head of the security forces, without any questions. Honour from God, you honour Him, and He honours you back in return.
Thanksgiving is a vital force to keep the Church growing. Acts 2:47. That is also illustrated with the five loaves and two fishes, Jesus gave thanks and it multiplied supernaturally. Thanksgiving is a vital force that many people are yet to recognize in their own lives. It is one force that will get you out of stagnation to celebration. It is so powerful that it can raise the dead back to life. Jesus gave thanks and Lazarus came out from the grave. It will perfect God’s blessings in your life. That leper came back to give thanks and He said “thou art made whole”. Others were cleansed, the thanksgiver was made whole. It can make whole anything that is yet to be perfected. Church Gist. You were targeting five people and you saw two, give thanks and the other three will come. You preserve the blessings through Thanksgiving. There is no way to see a Church grow or your life grow without being addicted to Thanksgiving. Murmurers are losers in the kingdom, thanksgivers are gainers. You better give thanks.
We had a city-wide crusade in Kaduna, healing and revival week on the 28th of November 1983 and the highest attendance was 63. We were 24 that came from our base out of that 63, so others came to sympathize with us. In the morning of Monday like this, we gathered together in worship and the song came alive 🎶All the glory must be to the Lord. He is worthy of our praise, no man on earth should give glory to himself, all the glory must be to the Lord.🎶 with genuine smiles. If nobody comes, we can’t arrest them. We have mega churches spread across Kaduna today. Be free from the entanglement of murmuring and complaining. Church Gist. It has done so much havoc to your life that you are not aware of. 1 Corinthians 10:10. They that murmured were destroyed, they were not assisted. You are either a thanksgiver or a murmurer. You can’t be in between. “Brother David, I heard you got a car” “oh yes, I got a fantastic car”. ”Did I hear it is Volkswagen Beetle?” “oh yeah! You mean it is not fantastic? You mean it is not more fantastic than going on foot?”. From a fantastic Beetle to a fantastic plane. You better wake up and stop injuring your life.
We had an awesome time in Operation Reach For the Stars. First time we had new converts registering as members of the Church. Since the year began, every water baptism time thousands. Jesus is just growing His church on a strong foundation. Church Gist. No life will be any more meaningful than it is thankful. No life will be any more impactful than it is thankful.
Jeremiah 13:15-17. You are stranded, you are held down because you are not genuinely thankful. It is not from your heart. We bought our first musical equipment in November 1986, you say how were you praising God, go and watch the video. You will see wild praise. Church Gist. All rural churches today have public address systems, they have music equipment for those who need it. Be thankful.
Our exhortation line for the week is THANKSGIVING IS A MUST TO KEEP THE CHURCH GROWING. Thank God for prayer and fasting but without thanksgiving, nothing will happen. Psalm 67:5-6. If you don’t know how to give Him thanks then you are not interested in increase.
Our God is the God of addition. For every addition, we see “thank you Jesus” then He will upgrade addition to multiplication. You don’t thank Him for one, you won’t see two. You don’t thank Him for two, forget about seeing four. If you won’t thank Him for ten, you are never qualified for one hundred. Church Gist. Thanksgiving is a spiritual yeast that keeps giving shape and colour to your life. You know bakers add yeast to their flour to give it shape. If they give you bread without yeast, it will be miserable and you will not want to buy it. So they put the yeast in it to make you buy it.
Acts 2:47. They were praising God and He was adding to the Church daily such as should be saved.
He is the sender of the Holy Ghost who is the Lord of the Harvest. John 16:7. We owe the sender thanks for sending the Holy Ghost with His convicting ministry for turning people back to Christ. The Lord of the harvest empowers labourers on the field. Matthew 9:38. Without the Holy Ghost you are not inspired, you are not driven to get involved. He empowers us to be effective witnesses of Christ to the lost. We owe the source of our empowerment thanks, lest He withdraws the empowerment and we become like mere carcasses. Everything about Church Growth demands Thanksgiving as a vital key. It is a vital requirement for destroying the gates of hell against the continuous growth of the Church. Acts 16:25-30. We saw the testimony of Paul and Silas, they prayed and sang praises to God and suddenly there was a great earthquake, and God came down. Psalm 22:3. Psalm 99:1. God came down and no gate could stand. Psalm 24:7. Church Gist. Intense Thanksgiving is a must to keep the Church growing because it destroys the gates of hell as the Almighty steps down. When God comes down, He messes up barriers, destroys obstacles. Isaiah 64:1. That is what is in thanksgiving and praise. Don’t allow those mountains to remain there, step into the realm of Thanksgiving and praise. This thing graduates. First, be grateful that you are where you are by the grace of God. That would graduate into praise and then into worship and you accommodate His presence. Psalm 100:4. God has done us well, no one could have done any better. We owe Him thanks as a Church and you owe Him thanks as an individual. It is pride to think that you made something happen. John 15:5.
Prayers: Lord endue me with the spirit of Thanksgiving and praise afresh. Clothe me with the garment of praise. I need your presence more than I need anything else. Ask God for the oil of joy and gladness that will turn my mourning into dancing.
Be extremely thankful all through this week for what God has been to you all through this year and what God has been to us as Church. Awesome God. No weather has stopped people from coming and they come in their troops. No Sunday without thousands getting saved. Every member is just on the streets winning souls like buying bread. Church Gist. Everything murmuring and complaining in you dies today. He said I should tell the people if you have lost anything, I am the reason you have not lost everything. You better give me thanks otherwise you lose the rest. You better wake up and be thankful for the gift of life. Be thankful for being in a church that teaches the way to go.
Prayers: Take authority over the week. It is your week and it is your month. God is changing your level of spiritual authority this month.
