God called Joshua and said, “present him to Eleazar so he can receive counsel from the Lord for him”. Visions are cheap, it’s the pursuit of it that requires insight. Through wisdom is a house built. Church Gist. Vision shows the plan of the house but it takes wisdom to build. Praise God! So is our lives, we are all buildings, we are God’s buildings. Church Gist. So, it takes wisdom to build this building of ours to meet the Master’s eternal purpose.

I’m sure by the time we are done with the time we have, each one will leave here with a clear understanding of what makes things work. Not all winners sweat to win, sweating is a curse. Church Gist. Arise, shine when your light comes. Light does not struggle to shine in the midst of darkness.
– no one here will struggle to fulfill God’s purpose for his life in the name of Jesus!

I’ve captioned the Word of today and I think I want everyone to listen. A Word came my way 40 years plus, it was about the Ass and the Rider. Church Gist. That it will be stupid for the Ass to think it was the one they were clapping for because after the Rider alighted, nobody knew where the Ass went. That Word came to me on a day like this over 40 years ago and that helped me not to subscribe to the applause of men but keep hunting for Heaven’s commendation. Church Gist. His commendation will always result in promotion. Human applause is just an emotional expression, it doesn’t add value. But, when God comments, “well-done thou good and faithful servant”, He promotes. “You’ve been faithful in a few things, now have thou authority over 10 cities”. Change of level. God’s commendation will always culminate in promotion.
– my prayer for my son today is that your journey will not lack promotion by hearkening to the voice of the Lord today.
I’ve captioned this, “SPEAKING TO THE DESTINY OF NEW GENERATION MINISTERS”. Hebrews 6:12. Hebrews 13:7. From Scriptures, we understand that believers are redeemed as trees of life. Isaiah 65:20-24. Revelation 22:2. Church Gist. So, we are trees. We are also redeemed as trees of righteousness. Isaiah 61:3. When the root is holy, the tree will be holy. Romans 11:16-17. As in the natural, every tree has the tap root along with secondary and tertiary roots. John 3:12. 1 Corinthians 11:14. There are things that we just learn from nature. Church Gist. We saw Christ described as the root of David, which implies our taproot. Revelations 5:5. Secondary roots here imply Apostles and Prophets sent to our way as helpers of our destiny. There were many widows in Israel in the days of Elijah unto none was Elijah sent but unto the Widow of Zarephath. There were many lepers in Israel, unto none was Elisha sent but unto Naaman the Syrian. Church Gist. So, He sends people our ways to help us fulfill his agenda in our lives. So, He said that the Church is built upon the foundations of Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, the taproot, the tertiary root, the secondary root that makes a tree.
To disconnect from Christ our taproot is to disconnect from the fountain of all grace. Romans 6:1. Church Gist. Christ is full of grace and truth. John 1:14. A disconnection from Christ equals frustration. Many believers today are frustrated because they are disconnected. In the same vein, to disconnect from the grace transmitted through any of our secondary or tertiary roots, is to begin to suffer disgrace. Philippians 1:7. Church Gist. So, partake of graces from people that God brings our way. Every tree will only bear fruits after their roots. No tree can disconnect from its roots and still expect to keep bearing fruits. I’m speaking to all of us. Church Gist. Disconnectedness is the reason behind the frustrations and struggles of many. Matthew 7:20-23.
No genuine connectivity lacks proofs after the source that it connects with. You can be present in the Church and not be connected. Church Gist. Everything they say bothers you, “just pray for us and let us go”. Disconnected, nothing is flowing in. Every giant is born of a giant oh. No giant ever gives birth to himself. By the law of procreation, everything reproduces after its kind. You’ll never find a giant on the street that is not born of giants. 2 Samuel 21:20-22. Giants are born of giants. They tap into the gene of a giant that brings forth the giant in them. Church Gist. That’s why I’m speaking to the young and upcoming ministers that have no reference. Any tree that has only one taproot can’t stand the wind. It’s the secondary and tertiary roots that help to stabilize the tree. It’s one tree going up, so it needs a robust base to survive. That’s why God is restoring fatherhood to the body of Christ. Malachi 4:6. Church Gist. It’s so obvious that this our generation is the first one, as it were, to bring to the open the fruits of fatherhood in ministry. This is to avoid being rootless and fruitless. Church Gist. For instance, when Miriam disconnected from God ordained Prophet, she lost her colour and she was never heard of again.
Now, nobody heard: he (Aaron) initiated that discussion that, “why do you think Moses should be the only one speaking? He can’t be the only one speaking! I know this boy.” Numbers 12:1. Church Gist. She (Miriam) disconnected, only God heard it. So disconnection may never be open but God hears it and he said, “if a father spits on a child, he should be ashamed for at least 7 days.” 7 days of God can be forever. So disconnection is horrible.
When Dathan, Korah and Abiram disconnected from Moses, the entire lineage perished. Believers and Ministers alike are built upon the foundation of Apostles and Prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the Chief cornerstone. Ephesians 2:20. Church Gist. As I earlier said, this implies that we have our tap root in Christ and our secondary and tertiary roots in Apostles and Prophets sent our way by divine orchestration – not arranged by man.
One of my most respected mentors, Dr Copeland said, “any humanly arranged association never lasts.” This is a divine orchestration – when it is, you know it. For example, God called Moses the great and connected him to the counsel of Jethro in order to accomplish his mission. Jethro never saw a fire burning without the bush not consumed but he needed the counsel of Jethro not to die before time. Exodus 18:21-24. Church Gist. God called Joshua to lead Israel to the Promised Land and asked that he be brought before Eleazar to receive counsel from the Lord for him. He is the one who said, “take thee Joshua the son of Nun” yet he said, “go to Eleazar…” Numbers 27:15-21. So, impact in ministry is the function of connectivity both to Christ and to the giants sent our paths who have gone that way before.
Very interesting, can I tell you the value of this? John 4:38. My friend, Hagin laboured, I entered into his labour of faith. I had no issue believing anything. I live away from doubt, we live in different continents. Hagin laboured and David came and entered into his labour, I don’t have to go through that all over again. What you’re seeing today is part of the labour of Hagin that I entered into. You ask me, “how much is it built?” I don’t know; is that how to build? It’s that kind of life you will live by plugging into the labours of others to live a sweatless stress-free life. Church Gist. I love that Scripture – John 4:38. They paid the bills for the goods from the store, you just went to collect. Which one is better? So it is that lack of connectivity that makes men struggle. Malachi 4:6 – a curse connotes struggles, stress, strain, which connectivity takes care of. This is why any tree without a root is gone – it’s only a matter of time. Even Christ was called the son of David and I could imagine him responding saying, “that’s right, that’s who I am.” Every time they called him he answered straight. “Son of David have mercy” he said, “I’m here. You got my address correct, that’s my surname.” Even Christ, born of the Holy Ghost Sir!
Can anybody be near me without knowing where I am connected to? It’s impossible – in one minute! We all know that Kenneth Copeland has his roots in Oral Roberts and Kenneth Hagin and he will say something so humourously, “Hagin taught me what faith is and Oral taught me how it works.” The lion, Archbishop Benson Idahosa had his roots in Gordon Lindsay and T. L. Osborn. Church Gist. Frederick K. C. Price had his roots in Kenneth E. Hagin – that’s how his life took a new turn. Baba E. A. Adeboye has his roots in Pa Akindayomi and you find it everywhere. Jerry Savelle has his roots in Kenneth Copeland. Now it doesn’t mean those are the only ones who have their roots but I am just citing individuals because grace can go over a hundred people, a thousand people, a million people at a time.
Now by the grace of God I have jealously guarded my tap root who is Christ and all my secondary and tertiary roots till date – jealously so, consciously so! Church Gist. For example: the faith of Kenneth Hagin is actively at work in my life everyday till date. When the subject is a subject of faith, Hagin’s faith stirs up my small faith to deal with the issue. You know he talked about the faith of your grandmother, which is in your mother, which is also in you (2 Timothy 1:5). So those things travel through connectivity.
Sensitivity to the leading of the Holy Spirit and tireless passion for souls as in T.L. Osborn is still at work in me today. I have been out a few times this month saying Jesus loves you, come on in, there is room for you here. The mystery of prosperity at work in Kenneth Copeland is still manifesting in my life till date. I have been saying that forever and I am not saying to impress anybody, I am saying what is real and true. Church Gist. The wisdom of enlargement without sweat as found in E.A. Adeboye is still evident in my life till date. Sweatless enlargement. You enter 83 new nations in one year without a budget. Sweatless enlargement! They are all spiritual DNAs to connect with through genuine connectivity of the spirit.
No one comes near me without knowing where I am coming from, as I have continued to declare this in my teachings and writings. Church Gist. I have often said it is foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful.
In the same vein, today by the grace of God I have a good number of ministries that are sweatlessly replicating the grace of God in my life in their respective ministries around the world. Truth will always last. I am appealing and speaking to the new generation ministers. Church Gist. There is no new generation Bible. It is the same old Bible. They have been busy trying to translate it into too many languages and want to water it down but we who believe in “This saith the Lord,” we are still reading that one. It is as potent as when it came for the first time.
This is my admonition to all your young and upcoming ministers:
1. Jealously guard your roots in Christ by always doing things that please Him. John 8:29. Romans 6:1. 1 John 3:7. Church Gist. So it is a doing thing, it is not a wishing thing. It is not a grammar thing, it is not propounding philosophies.
2. Continue to guard your connectivity to the source or sources of grace that God must have brought your way. This is about spiritual connectivity not just about words of the mouth or showering of accolades. Genuine connectivity! Malachi 1:6. Isaiah 29:30. Church Gist. Guard your roots so you don’t lose your place. Romans 11:18-22. This will require a sustainable virtue of meekness to sustain the flow of the grace from them into our life in ministry. Matthew 5:5. 1 Peter 5:6.
I am speaking now to young and upcoming ministries.
3. Always remember that your call into ministry is not based on merit, it is purely an election of grace.
It is not on merit. Today, people think because they know something or they have some knowledge, then they are ongoing. I had a Professor in those days up North that came into ministry and it didn’t just work. He had unusual passion but it didn’t just work. I remember laying my hands on him more than two times and it didn’t work. He is a surgeon, a Professor of Medicine. It didn’t work. Those things don’t weigh when it comes to things of the Spirit. Church Gist. There is no comparing spiritual intelligence with any dimension of intellectual prowess. They are far from each other. There is no way they will do research and think that we can start a university on this bare ground, this wilderness in seven months. No! It is spiritual intelligence that does that.
We saw this truth expressed by the following scriptures: Isaiah said “I am a man of unclean lips” – Isaiah 6:5. There is nobody God called that didn’t see his own deficiency, today’s young ministers see their proficiency and you find them making baseless assertions. You look at scripture and you can’t marry them together. You know in ministry nobody asks you questions when you give lectures so it is possible to just go off. They make flamboyant statements that have no roots, and no basis. Church Gist. They speak as authorities when they are apprentices. As I listen to this, one is bothered about where we are going. Jeremiah said “I am a child, how can I do what you are asking me to do?” (Jeremiah 1:7). Paul said, “I am not even worthy to be called an apostle”.
These are traits that are hardly found among young ministers today worldwide where many glory in their educational background, professional and career exploits and not the grace of election. But on the contrary, by my God-ordained privilege to walk around a number of Kingdom giants in ministry, I witnessed firsthand an aura of meekness all around them. Can I forget a day when Baba T.L. Osborn said to me, I was in his place and he said “I will be going to this place in two weeks and I was there about 60 years ago. Church Gist. A woman I prayed for and got healed, she received her sight and she is still seeing today. Now I want you to pray for me.” Ah! No, I can’t, I can only pray with you Sir. T.L. Osborn towards the end of his life asked me to pray for him.
If you ask a lot of these young people, nobody has ever prayed for them, sir. And they don’t need it, they don’t think they need it. No!!!! Now, I’ve done this thing before they were born. I’ve been in it before they were born. And the fire is still burning, why don’t you take time to find out: Where is this fire coming from? And that’s what I’m trying to share with you tonight. Church Gist. I’d allowed it to go on here, so I will want it to be everywhere to let them know that the step many of them are taking has no future. Sir, it has no future! I’ve been around this God now for 54 years, I’ve been receiving revelation for the past 52 years. I knew I was redeemed to be a king, 52 years ago. I knew it’s good for me to bear my yoke in my youth, 52 years ago. I knew God is not slow, 52 years ago. So it’s not a journey of yesterday but these young folks, some of them grew in my hand oo from this University but the expression of the exertion of authority? It bothers my soul, sir.
-My prayer is that pride will not get on the way of any of these individuals but they will be set free to fulfill their mission.
Every generation has a mission but most people abuse it, they receive the grace of God in vain. And to my son who is being set apart today for this divine assignment. I pray over you for grace to remain connected to your roots openly, unashamedly as I have done over the years beginning from today. Can you miss the daring and bold spirit of Benson Idahosa in me? No! Stay connected! He is gone now 25 years ago, I’m still inside out on things regarding to him. It’s 20 years now that Hagin went home, my spirit man is still connected, my voice is connected, my life is connected. It is those who have been here who can show you how to get there. Church Gist. Those who have been here!! So by the time you put all my secondary and tertiary roots together, it’s difficult to push me down, it’s difficult! I have had proclamations sir, real one! On my life! And when you see me recite them, I didn’t have to cram them, I receive them inside my spirit. Spirit don’t sleep! Remember that no matter what prayer is prayed over a tree that is disconnected from the root, it can no longer bear fruit. You cut off a branch from a tree and say: ‘Branch! You must bear fruits in the name of Jesus! We join together in faith, we decree right now’! Papa taught me faith, it won’t work! You have to be connected to bear fruit.
I used to tell them, our students here in school: ‘I will never pray that I be like you. You are the only one who can pray to be like me’. Church Gist. There is no way I can pray to be like you (Laughing). No! There is no way!
-Therefore my son, receive grace to remain connected, so you can keep bearing fruits without stress in the name of Jesus Christ.
In conclusion, genuine spiritual connectivity never lacks proof after the same order. Never lacks proof! So, for everyone hearing me sir, stop playing games. Connectivity is key to experiencing the flow of grace! Connectivity! Genuine connectivity! Genuine spiritual connectivity is key to it! Also know that all through Scriptures, what God does is to confirm blessings proclaimed, into testimonies. Church Gist. The Man, Melchizedek proclaimed the blessing on Abraham and God confirmed it. And Abraham became possessor of Heaven and earth. Genesis 14:19. They saw him in Heaven, Jesus said: ‘On a throne’. The Word said we are redeemed to connect with the blessings of Abraham. Two words (Heaven and Earth) at the same time. Numbers 6:25-27. You have proclaimed it, I (God) will confirm it.
-May every word proclaimed today be confirmed as you open your heart to receive it in the name of Jesus.
So what God does is to confirm what His prophets declare. Church Gist. Can I hear your Amen? As you receive and believe, it’s confirmed. Genesis 49:22-26.
-May the blessing proclaimed upon you today turn to testimonies in your life in the name of Jesus!
Give the Lord a big hand everyone! Shall we all rise, please?
The grace, the honour, the dignity that my life emits today in its small way are functions of genuine connectivity. Amen! I was in Asaba years ago and then the Holy Ghost came on me. I told them in that morning session, I said: ‘Last night, Hagin spoke to you; this morning Copeland will speak to you’! Explosion! I was wearing that Cloak! Explosion! You can’t be there and not know!!! Church Gist. The same way Hagin books travel round the World so I mean, our books are travelling round the World. I see our books and I won’t know it’s our books because it is in another language except my name that they don’t have their own language for. (Laughing). Amen! We were in Indonesia and so I saw some of our books in Indonesia Language. It’s only my name that made me to know it’s our book. They just designed whatever thing that they wanted because… (Laughing). When they said they apologize, I said: ‘No’!!! There is no apology, let’s spread it! Praise God!
You gain access to where your strength will never let you get to. Amen. ‘And there were the prophets of God helping them’ The devil wants to stop them ‘And there were the prophets of God helping them’ The work was caused to cease by force but ‘There were the prophets of God helping them’ So, they are helpers. Church Gist. You call their names and things happen because you are connected not because you are anything.
– May everyone hearing me today receive grace for genuine connectivity to whatever graces God has brought your way.
Genuine connectivity…we are not in human worship. No. We’re celebrating the Truth. We are just celebrating the validity of the Truth. This is what God said in His Word, that is what He is doing. Praise God
You can’t be in this Ministry for one month and not hear about Hagin (Kenneth Hagin). No, every month, there is something that will connect him. Amen. Whether in a small chair sharing or in a big one. Somehow, somehow, you’ll hear him. Praise God. Amen. Somehow, you’ll hear him.
– Shall we lift up our two hands and ask God not to despise the graces that He brings our way?
– Prayers.
Help me, Jesus. It is not enough to be connected but to stay connected. The day a pipe is disconnected from the source, the water will stop flowing. Church Gist. Help me to stay connected in truth and in deed, to secure continuous flow of grace in my life.
Would you please pray? That God will give you grace not to disconnect from Christ, the Tap root of your life and my life, through careless living.

You know, one of the great virtues of faith is peace. What did I call it? ‘They that believe, do enter into rest’ Hebrews 4:3. So, you can’t run peace dry when you are rooted in faith. Peace like a River, unperturbed peace.
– You are there! May no one here lack the proof of connectivity again. May no one lack the proof of connectivity again. May no one among us lack the proof of connectivity again.
One can stay in Church for all his life and not be connected with what is going on there. It doesn’t qualify him for it. We have some folks working on this premises now, since inception. They have never registered for any course. Right? So, there is no way they can be a graduate of this University. They can only be workers here. Church Gist. They can only be workers, sir. Why? There is no connectivity to what this place offers. Yet, someone has come in here, while they were here working as labourers and he has registered 100 level, he has got his Ph.D. in the same place and is becoming a professor while they are here on the same ground. So, it is not about where you are. It is about where you stand. It’s about where you stand, sir.
There were books we were reading in those days and then suddenly, we can’t find those authors again. Are they dead? No, they are off the stage. They are off the stage.
– In the precious name of Jesus, my son, you will not be lost.
– Everyone here, no one will be lost in the crowd.
– You will retain grace to the end.
Nothing makes great like grace. Let me shock you. I have never prayed, ‘Oh God, give me money’ I have only received grace to do what brings money and it’s flowing on its own. I have never prayed ‘Oh God, give me greatness’ I don’t even know how to call it. How? When you meet His terms, He does His thing. Believe Him…and let me say this to you my son, His times are not in your hands, your times are in His hands. Psalm 31:15. Let Him move you at His pace. You won’t lose your peace. Let Him move you at His pace, you won’t lose your peace.
Beware of associations that are contrary to where you are heading for. Beware. I prayed all night for God to separate me from every association that there is (was) no going forward. I prayed all night, all night. ‘Disconnect me’ I said, ‘Jesus, from everyone going backward. Make my ears deaf from things that do not edify and my eyes blind to things that do not build up’ It was Psalm 1:1-3 that drove me to that prayer. I don’t have a spare life so, I have to jealously guard the only one I have. There’s no return match in this Game. You blow it, you blow it, cut short. ‘They that work with the wise shall be wise, the companions of fools shall be destroyed’
Don’t be part of maligning any ministry. That’s not a ministry. No. Don’t be part of bringing any ministry down. That does not take you up. No. Someone testified in our Church years ago. He said ‘I went to TREM (The Redeemed Evangelical Mission), I wasn’t healed. Church Gist. I went to Deeper (Deeper Life Bible Church), I wasn’t healed’ My spirit man was grieved. How many remember? I jumped on the platform, I said ‘Hey! Stop that!’ The day you believe is the day God healed you. The same God in TREM (The Redeemed Evangelical Mission) is the same God here. The same God in Deeper (Deeper Life Bible Church) is the same God here.
Never get to a point in your life where ‘This thing is only happening with me’ There is no such time. Such time won’t come. Sir, I didn’t go home to think about it, I jumped up right there. Church Gist. ‘Stop that’ Same Jesus everywhere. Many got healed there, why didn’t you get healed? You didn’t believe. Many got delivered there, why didn’t you get delivered? You didn’t believe.
We had one of our spiritual daughters who was challenged and she said to…she dreamt in the night that Pastor Kumuyi was praying for her. So, I called a driver (one of our drivers) and I wrote a note, “Sir, this my daughter said, she saw you in a vision praying for her. Please supply me that opportunity and pray for her”. Kilen ko kakiri (what are you carrying about?) Church Gist. These upcoming ministers think that they are everything when they have not begun. I’m telling you live stories. Well, the Church by our Church in the New era road…and the Pastor was going to move away from the ministry where he was, I said, “No! If you disconnect without the Grace of the House, you are finished”.
We were together…only one dwarf roof separated us and no Church disturbed the other. When you are going, ushers will tell you, “Are you going to this Church? Move on! Are you coming here? Move on!” No crisis, no trouble, what is the problem? This month, I’ve prayed for about six people in our ministry that are going into their ministries. Amen! One of them about twenty-something years in the System. Church Gist. I prayed for them and gave them materials that would help them. Amen! That, “Read this thing as you are going”. Praise God! There was a day here, we celebrated about 68 Pastors on our WSF (Winners Satellite Fellowship) platform who have their ministries in Lagos. It’s a huge field. Can you tell how many people that are separating tonight now in this Country? To the same kind of ministry that you may not know. Praise God! It’s a huge thing. So, don’t bother about those who are staying, whatever they are saying…This is one liberal place where you have access to following God’s agenda for your life. My mission is to see everybody fulfill God’s agenda for his life…and you will.
I can’t give you a vision. I didn’t give him vision. No! But I can counsel you on how to run with your vision without accident. Amen! Lift up your two hands everyone.

– Now, as hand is laid on you, I pray today for unusual grace for sustainable connectivity that will keep you going without sweat.
– I pray that impact will be you goal, not good preaching but great impact.
– I pray that your life will interpret your message in the name of Jesus.
– As you step into this New phase of your assignment, may you be cloth with humility.
Look up here, I’ve never begged, yet I’ve never lacked. I’ve never borrowed yet I’ve never lacked. I’ve never taken advantage of anyone for what he has. Someone raised an offering in our Church years ago in Kaduna and I called the people that he was raising the offering from, I said, “I free them from it”. Church Gist. He wasn’t raising an offering for himself, he was raising it for us, I say I free you from it to remove…I know you, I’m your pastor. This Man doesn’t know you. I say I free you from it, forget about the pledge, go and relax…and I saw a glow on their faces.
– In the precious name of Jesus, you’ll never be seen as a burden.
All through our fellowship days, I never knew what the offering was, it’s not important. The source is higher than the Offering.
– In the name of Jesus, you will not lose touch with the Source.
– Grace to walk in the Covenant that keeps you connected to the Source of eternal supplies, receive it now. So shall it be.
– I decree that by this Anointing, every trap of the wicked on your path, be destroyed.
And Joshua was full of the Spirit of wisdom because Moses has laid his hand on him and the people hearkened unto him.
– Now be filled with the Spirit of wisdom in the name of Jesus.
– You have drawn virtue from various sources hitherto, may the honor required to keep those virtues flowing, the Grace to stay and offer such honor remain yours for life in the name of Jesus.
– As I anoint you right now, fresh grace to fulfill God’s agenda for your life in Jesus’ precious name.
Thank you Lord! Give the Lord a big hand of praise.
– Now, be blessed!
– For witnessing this occasion, I decree fresh grace for sustainable connectivity for you.
– May you not be trapped by evil thoughts, evil speaking, evil actions in the name of Jesus.
– May there be continuous proof of the genuineness of your connectivity, not in words only but in reality in Jesus’ name.
