Covenant Day of Business and Career Breakthrough
Prayers: Lord Jesus, let Your light break-forth this month across our Churches worldwide. Let Your light break-forth this month to cause the star in each member of this Church to get up into the sky. So let it be in the name of Jesus.
You don’t give horses injection laying down, they stand up to get injection. So the one you heard is the injection of a horse, to set you up in a race that you must win. We have access to all things that life will ever demand through redemption including success -2 Peter 1:3
Everybody has a good taste for success, whether they tell you so or not.
When your child excels in school, you have a broad smile, “I just thank God.”
When you enjoy breakthrough in business, it is always with a smile, “men, the Lord is good.”
Everybody has a very good taste for success. Church Gist. Anybody that says, “he doesn’t like prosperity”, is a liar; he wants it.
Between trekking to Ikeja from here and driving, what will you choose?
Between okada (commercial motorcycle) from here to Ikeja, which one will you choose? Between a car and okada (commercial motorcycle)?
Between flight from Lagos to Kaduna and driving, what do you choose? Why? It is good.
Everybody likes good things. They may make you feel they are spiritual, they don’t like it because they are going to heaven.
Abraham went to heaven as a super success. Which heaven are you trying to go?
Anyway, you have a choice to go either as Lazarus or Abraham. The choice is clean.
Everybody has good taste for success; whether literate or illiterate, enlightened or dis-lightened. Everybody has it.
But serving God is one great secret of living a lasting, enduring, generational order of success, that will be talked about a thousand years after you are gone if Jesus tarries.

We are looking at two of those virtues that we connect with through Kingdom stewardship
- Serving God is a platform for experiencing divine presence
Divine presence is a game changer and will make all the difference everywhere and under all circumstances.
Luke 10:1 – He always goes with those on a mission for Him.
Matthew 28:20 – His presence is guaranteed everyone that is on His mission.
Serving God and His interest of His Kingdom guarantee you and I His presence which is the game changer of life. Church Gist. God’s presence is the game changer of life.
God was with Joseph and made everything that He did to prosper – Genesis 39:3
God was with Joseph and he became the heir of Potiphar’s house – Genesis 39:5
God was with Joseph in the prison, he became a staff in the prison where he was an inmate – Genesis 39:21-22
God’s presence is God’s game changer on the earth. It guarantees all weather breakthroughs. Not when all things being equal. When all things are most unequal, He delivers. God’s presence will deliver His mission when most things are most unequal, when there is nothing equal of all the factors. God’s presence will always have His way.
Being on the go for Jesus guarantees you and I His presence that does not only guarantee the way forward but destroys all opposing forces in the process. We live in a world of opposing forces.
Isaiah 54:15
“That they are falling for your sake”: His presence is what guarantees that, without your knowledge. You are on your bed and they are falling. His presence!!!
It is not just singing His praise and all that. Thank God for that. Be on the go. You can’t be singing when you are sleeping. But when you are on the go for Jesus, He covers you: while awake, while asleep.
Get excited that your engagement is not a form of activity, it is your insurance against all satanic assaults. My engagement is my insurance against all satanic assaults. Without His presence, they could never get out of Egypt Sir, but when He was in their midst, the sea saw them, it fled. What is going on? Tremble thou earth at the presence of God – Psalm 114:7.
God’s presence causes your troublers to tremble, gets you through to where no man, no effort can get you through to.
Everyone carrying God’s presence enjoys supernatural breakthroughs in his endeavours.
Carrying God’s presence.
They vowed to destroy Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego but there was a presence with them and the picture of the fourth man was like the Son of God, that will not allow the fire to have effect on them – Daniel 3:25,27
You know your success can annoy a lot of people, but when you have His presence, their annoyance will lead to their destruction. Church Gist. The mighty men who carried them in there, they were burnt to death through the flames coming out of the furnace – Daniel 3:22.
They were not inside the furnace.
Their bodies yielded, transformed, by His presence – Daniel 3:27-28.
Every move those men (made) to want Daniel destroyed in the den of lions but “My God had sent His angel and has preserved me” – Daniel 6:22
The lions were my toys, they were displaying to me in the night.
His presence!!
That is why you need His presence. It is not just efforts of discipline: that is okay but when opposition rises, His presence is your rescue. His presence is your only rescue.
They brought somebody here from Harvard University, PhD: mental. Somebody just heard perhaps that he got his PhD from Harvard, “never, not in this world”: threw arrow at him.

You need His presence. So get on the go for Jesus and continue to renew His presence with you. I call them spiritual alternatives to man’s quest for success. His presence will make the difference.

His presence brings men into favour which makes highflyers
Psalm 16:11
Thou wilt shew me the paths of life and His ways are the highways of life.
His presence shows us the highways of life.
One day I was in the car, having nice time in the Holy Ghost and He said, “My son, don’t raise money, raise men and you will have more money than you will ever need for ministry.”
I am a very weak money raiser. I can’t raise money. I got enough light not to be involved in it. My job is to raise men from the dunghill and make them sit in palaces by engaging the light of the Word of God.
I love Covenant raised people. They are ever dedicated to the God whom they serve. There is no method you can use in this world to command respect in this Church because of what you give. To greet you specially. It is not part of the package. By light.
You are not giving for my sake. Church Gist. You are giving for your sake. Let God have respect for your offerings, He will change your status and keeps changing it as you keep doing it.
Job 36:11 – As they keep serving Him. You retire, He stops.

-We live in a wicked world of hurts but from today, anyone embittered with your rising will go down for you finally.

When He releases His Word and you go after it, His presence goes with you – Psalm 24
No gate can be shut against God.

Isaiah 43:2 – ‘Emi lo nje E mi ni’ (I am the One called I am that I am). The fire can’t burn you, the water can’t swallow you up, because I am with you.
Somebody’s story is changing.
Please understand that serving God secures His presence. Don’t fake it. Make it. Make the choice for it and God will supply the grace.
Don’t fake it, make it.
If you ask the powers of darkness what and what they must have done to stop this Church, you will be amazed why it has no effect except negative effects on them, that is your next level of story.

Romans 8:31
- Serving God is our covenant access to the grace of God that makes great.
We serve the God of all grace – 1 Peter 5:10
His grace covers all areas of life including our endeavours, our businesses and careers.
The God of all grace.
Paul said, “I am what I am by the grace of God” – 1 Corinthians 15:10
Nobody can be more than what the grace of God makes happen.
“I am not even qualified to be called an Apostle but grace.”
The grace to serve covers all areas of our endeavours and that grace comes upon our choice to serve.
“Choose ye this day whom ye shall serve” – Joshua 24:15
You make the choice, He supplies the grace.
While I was thanking God for His grace upon my life, that has kept my hands on the plough without ever considering looking back, talk less of actually looking back, He said, “My son, you made the choice, I supplied the grace. You made the choice.”
How long will you halt between 2 opinions, if God be God serve Him, if it be baal, follow him? 1 Kings 18:21
Don’t stand in the middle of the road, it is not safe. Traffic is high, don’t hang around in the middle of the road. If God be God, serve Him.
I have never checked on any other source of help in my life.
You are talking about mighty men, I know the Almighty: so what is mighty and Almighty? They are not in the same class.
You are talking of people in high levels, I know the Most High. And those who know their God, they shall be strong and do exploits

Help means grace.

Paul made the choice, God supplied the grace.
He said, “now, I am ready to go. Henceforth, there is a crown waiting for me. Not only for me, but all those who are working towards His appearing” – 2 Timothy 4:6-8
I made my choice before you (Pastor David Oyedepo Jr) were born. This tall man, before he was born, I made my choice. Dangerous choice. Avowed choice.
What abundance of grace He supplied!
Are you ever challenged? Oh Yes, plenty of challenges. Church Gist. The platform for the making of Champions.
I stopped counting when I counted 25 times I was face to face to death.
Your choice is more powerful than the most wicked devil in hell. Your choice to serve Him brings you into favour with Him Sir.
Psalm 102:13-15
-Fearful favour: favour that makes your enemy to fear. That is what you are entering into.
That makes your enemy to jitter. That is what you are entering into.
That makes your troublers to start trembling, that is what you are entering into.
Serving God provides access to grace and grace also makes divine favour and divine favour is what makes highflyers like we saw in the story of Jesus.
Thank You Jesus.
Our choice today is what determines our lot tomorrow. Make the right choice today, it will show tomorrow.
To avoid this being just theoretical, we have some outstanding biblical success stories from the platform of serving God.
Abraham: He remembered His promise to His servant Abraham – Psalm 105:42
That man grew till he had an army to himself and the army was not one joking, meagre team – Genesis 14:14
They could dare another nation’s army and prevail against them – Genesis 14:15
He grew to become a business emperor and many business emperors will rise here. Amen.
He was old and stricken in age and God had blessed him in all things – Genesis 24:1
-There are people here, you will be blessed through out your days.
-You will never tell a story of when you used to be blessed.
-At 80, you will be a blessed man. At 100, you will be a blessed man. Amen.
That is the kind of blessing we are talking about. Not the blessing that dwindles as you are aging.
As you aging: you will start selling things to cope with survival.
Abraham’s blessing endured to generations that is still speaking today. That is your kind of blessing. That is your kind of breakthrough.

“In thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed”: That is what is happening.
Jesus died to connect us with the blessing of Abraham – Galatians 3:14
That will tell you how recognized that order of blessing was. There was no abracadabra, there was no cutting of corners. Straight on.
“I will not take a thing from you lest you think you made Abraham rich” – Genesis 14:23
That was the kind of man.
Listen to this and listen very carefully.
Genesis 18:17-19
This is one Word for all parents.
“For I know him, that he will command his children…”: he won’t pet them Sir. He will command them, “this is the source of my help, connect.”
Don’t spoil your children, my people. Don’t spoil your children. I know him.
Generational blessings always trail the commanding of our children. We have our own biological (children) that serve in this ministry. Not one person earns a dime above what is due. Not one day did I send one dime to any, yet they send to me every month.
“…he will command his children”- Genesis 18:19
Don’t spoil them my friend. He will command, he won’t pet them.
“They are children of nowadays”: Now a what?
There is no nowadays Bible.
-May you not be nursing your adult sons and daughters when they should be honouring you.
-May you not have them on your laps at the age of 50.
I never chose any course for our children to read in school. Never.
“…I know he will command”: So I gave them materials on divine direction.
I never got married for anyone of them Sir: “This is the one you should marry.”
You better stop that funny thing. Carrying adults on your back. You are robbing them of their destiny.
I am glad you are all quiet.
I didn’t know when they wrote exams. I am also writing exam every day.
“O God, they are writing exams. O God, work over them.”
