Mark 11:23.

I’m speaking quickly on the subject, “Supernatural Exploits – Uprooting Mountains”. Church Gist. First of all, we shall look at understanding the meaning of mountains and understanding the weapons for the uprooting of mountains.

By way of general introduction, Faith is a weapon for operation in the realm of supernatural exploits. Hebrews 11:32-34. Church Gist. A major exploit of Faith is in the realm of uprooting of mountains. Mark 11:22-24. The question is, what are mountains?

1. Mountains can be defined as established difficulties. It is not just that the issue is difficult but it appears unmovable and established. Church Gist. Remember how hard it took Hillary Edmund to climb Mount Everest.

– I announce tonight, everyone who is here that is a victim of any form of mountain, those mountains are collapsing this morning!

2. Mountains are age-long strong holds that have lasted in your particular life. For example, one can be battling with the stronghold of masturbation for 12 years, battling with spirit husband for 30 years, battling with some ailment in the body for so many years. Church Gist. If you see a prophecy that pertains to you, the best you can do is to say Amen at the top of your voice.

– anyone who is a victim of any kind of stronghold that has lasted for ages, tonight, they are broken!

3. Mountains are immovable obstructions or obstacles of destiny. Mountains can be the cause of stagnation, where a life just remains on the same spot because there is something standing in his/her front that is preventing them from moving to the next level. Deuteronomy 1:6-7. A human being can be a mountain of your life who vowed that as long as they are in that office, you will never become anything there. Church Gist. The easiest thing is to level them out. A mortal human being saying over their dead body before you get married, or before you get a child, or before you fulfill your destiny or become who God wants you to be.

– whoever it is that is sitting on your destiny and has vowed that your life should not progress to the next level, to where God wants you to go, after tonight, they are cleared out of the way!

Goliath was a human mountain, Israel remained on the same spot for 40 days. The man stood as a mountain until a boy called David came and levelled him out.

– anything is standing or has made your life to standstill, tonight, I prophesy, they are levelled out!

Very soon, we will hear the news of many iroko trees falling, in your family, in your community and in our nation!

4. Mountains are the dwelling places of massive enemy forces and powers. They are the address of giant enemy forces and powers. Joshua 14:12. When we talk of mountains, we are talking of the location and function of territorial powers. Demonic principalities over this nation are mountains. Church Gist. The state of the seat of power in our nation is located around the mountain called Aso Rock. It’s a rock with a habitation of forces. I’m sure you’re aware that there’s a place called Zuma Rock in Abuja where people who escape ritual killings always point to that location. Mountain is definitely a location for powers and spirits. When it is not occupied by God, it’s demonic powers. The mountain where Moses was called, was called the mountain of God. Church Gist. That had the occupation of the spirit of God himself. Exodus 3:1-3. So, when we say we are dealing with mountains, we mean we are coming to deal with principal powers – principal demons, not kindergarten ones.

Anywhere we go for Healing and Deliverance Crusade, it is not possible for at least a witch not to die. Church Gist. Somebody said to me, “you are dealing with more devils than any of us, yet why would the devil not leave us alone? Let us know what you’re doing”.

– tonight, you will carry the same force! Isaiah 8:18.

When we were doing  crusade in Zambia and a wizard was flying from another country and was trying to cross the crusade venue and dropped. Church Gist. Engine failure, bilateral engine failure – witchcraft engine failed. It crashed down to that location. It happened before in our area one Church, we were having an all night vigil, a witch was flying from Nasarawa State going to Niger State for witchcraft meeting in the night and was passing across a no-fly zone and lost her engines. Church Gist. When they picked her from the ground, the colour of her skin was like the colour of the earth, eyes were like the eyes of Satan itself.

– every mountain in your family, every address of territorial principalities, age-long witches and wizards, today, they shall be sacked from there permanently!

5. Mountains are generational situations and conditions. You know the mountains called Zuma Rock or Aso Rock, the mountains in Plateau, these mountains have been there for as long as human beings have been there. Generations. Church Gist. When you talk about mountains, you’re talking about what your father saw, that your father’s father saw, that your father’s father’s father saw, that the devil is trying to make you see. I don’t know about you but I’m the generation that refused to see what my father and father’s father saw. Church Gist. I shall not handover to my children any liability from my father and my mother, I refuse to handover to my next generation any liability from my ancestors. I am to transmit generational blessings, I don’t care what I received but I know what I want to transmit.

– anything that has been from generations, your father’s father saw it, your father’s father’s father saw, your father saw it and the devil wants you to see it and it’s a negative transfer, today, it is canceled! That mountain is annulled! It is levelled!

What are the keys to uprooting mountains?

1. The Word or declaration of Faith. Mark 11:23. Hear this, Faith-filled Words are force-filled. When you’re not just speaking from your lips, when it is coming from revelation and the revelation has formed a conviction and the conviction has become a declaration. Church Gist. Did you see the equation? 2 Corinthians 4:13. When you saw it in Scripture, you saw it until you believed it, you believed it until you couldn’t keep quiet about it and you began to speak it, “I can’t die like my father died; I shall fulfill my days. No devil is devilish enough to cut me short before my time”  and you can say it with such audacity. Faith-filled Words are spiritual dynamites, they level mountains. Church Gist. While you speak for yourself, I speak it in agreement with you and I speak it into your life; every father or mother here that is having a liability child, today, I declare the knockout blow for that devil, in the name of Jesus!

2. The Wisdom of God. The wisdom of God levels mountains. Job 28:9. What do we mean by the wisdom of God? That is light, insight or revelation regarding the situation. Church Gist. There are many dimensions of the Word of wisdom. The Word of wisdom can tell you something about the future that is yet to come, it can also give the solution to something you know. Luke 5:4. Matthew 17:27. One revelation from the Spirit of God can give answer to the uprooting of that devil from that office. Church Gist. One action the Holy Ghost will ask you to embark upon could be enough to arrest the situation of your life.

– I announce to someone today, the wisdom of God that will level your mountains, under the next 24 hours, that wisdom shall be unveiled to you!

3. The Grace of God. God can decide to give you a particular mantle that is just to handle battles and mountains. You know that mantles tackle battles and mantles tackle mountains. Zechariah 4:7. Church Gist. In the days of the Healing Revival, people carry different forms of mantles. When Oral Roberts held the hands of a person, he could tell the number of devils and the particular function of those demons. A. A. Allen, he was both healing and deliverance. Church Gist. Jack Coe was throwing cripples ahead of his shoulder and they were landing on his back walking. Morris Cerrulo and Lester Sumrall entered into countries that ordinary people can’t enter. They had the capacity to break nations open. Different mantles, different mountains. T. L. Osborne it was that gave us what we know as open-air crusade. Church Gist. He was the first one to take it out of the hall into the field, out of the tent into the open stadiums.

– something is coming upon you tonight that is going to break something open around your life!

– I am prophesying to somebody in particular, the mountain of your father’s house, the mantle to handle it is coming upon you!

Once it is grace, there is ease. If it is your strength, you will experience stress. I don’t know what has been difficult, congratulations, from today, it will be easy by grace.

4. The presence of God. Carriers of Divine presence don’t battle so much with mountains. Psalm 114:1-7. At the presence of “I AM”, the mountains melt. Church Gist. That is why demons cry out during services like this. When the presence of God is explosive, mountains clear out. Isaiah 64:1-2. He can cause mountains to become water. The one who makes you to ride a bicycle and that bicycle will overtake an aeroplane. That is, if he puts you on a bicycle, that bicycle is faster than an aircraft. Church Gist. The One who uses the egg to crack palm kernel so that the stone can be ashamed. The One who uses the basket to fetch water so that the basin can be humble. He can go undo, over-do, mega-do, supra-do and hyper-do. What I want to beg you is that this presence you feel when you’re in Church, try to have it in your bedroom. Church Gist. Whatever you will do Scripturally to feel God in your bedroom the way you feel God in Church, do it and let us see the devil that will cross that presence to come and feed you in the night.

– lift up your right hand, say, “Father, saturate my life with your presence today!”

5. The Joy and the Peace of the Lord. Isaiah 55:12. Just possess joy, refuse to be depressed and downcast, refuse a heavy spirit and then be calm. Don’t allow yourself to be over-stressed. Church Gist. Many of us, we worry too much. Some of us need to be dewormed from hookworm, tapeworm, from all the worms but the worst one is worry-worm. Just let it go. Have you been to the village before? Your mother will worry from when you start the journey, worry in the course of the journey, worry until you land and still be worrying. Church Gist. You don’t change anything by worrying; at least you don’t change it for the positive, except for the negative. But, if you want the mountains to scatter; Isaiah 55:12.

My wife told me sometime ago how she sees me so calm at some point and over some things until she’s confused, “what kind of calmness is this?” It is called the Peace of God that does not make sense. Church Gist. You’re worrying about everything, that you were passing and some people mentioned your name and it’s a concern, “what were they saying? When would these people leave me?” Somebody didn’t greet you by mistake because many people have their own challenges, because you’re not anybody’s priority, I’m sure you know that? Church Gist. That mentality will help you, that you’re not anybody’s priority. So, you can give people the benefit of the doubt. There was a mad woman in our village in those days, she used to say, “everywhere is worrying me”. There are many people that different things are worrying, so don’t ever think that somebody is going to focus on you. Church Gist. That’s one of the major challenges in marriages where the husband wants the wife to focus on him 100 percent, “you didn’t even ask how was work?” You, yourself, did you ask her?

Peter was asleep when the prison door scattered, the Angel stepped in and the door scattered.  Church Gist. When there was a mountain of the Red Sea in front of the Israelites, Moses said, “stand still and see the salvation of the Lord” and God said, “you have done that point number one, right now, move forward, calm down”. When there was the mountain of the wall of Jericho, God said, “don’t make noise. Don’t utter one word, March round the walls seven times without talking”. Church Gist. Men and women were there, is it easy not to talk where women are, and children and some men that talk like they have talk disease? Because he didn’t want them to talk unbelief. ” Which kind soldier walk be this? So we should be marching round the wall? Which kind zombie walk be this?” He said, “don’t say nothing” and in calmness and peace, when they shouted, the wall collapsed. You want the mountains to scatter, go out with joy, be led forth with peace. Behave to the devil as if he doesn’t exist. Church Gist. Act as if you’re not aware of what he’s trying to get your attention about, because the devil wants to draw your attention all the time. Behave like he doesn’t exist, maintain your joy and peace and the mountains shall scatter. You know, one way to express your joy is by your praise.
