IN THE KINGDOM WE DO NOT BEG TO BE BLESSED, RATHER WE SERVE OUR WAY TO BE BLESSED
EVERY COMMITMENT TO SERVE COMMITS GOD’S HAND TO BLESS.
GOD DOES NOT SAY THANK YOU, HE WILL SIMPLY LIFTS YOU IN AS A RESPONSE.
  • Pastor David Oyedepo Jnr. at Covenant Hour of Prayer || 27th June 2022.

Lord Jesus, we thank you this morning for your faithfulness and goodness. We thank you for hearing us every time we call and for granting answers to our prayers. Lord for the testimonies of your mighty hand in our midst we say thank you. This morning our eyes are on you yet again asking that you will speak to us again and let your word transform our lives in Jesus name we have prayed.

For God’s word, we discover that our God is a covenant keeping God and not a Father Christmas God. Psalm 89:34. The word of God makes it abundantly clear that our God is a God of covenant. That means He is a God that demands responsibility. Church Gist. Therefore every provision of redemption is available to whosoever will meet the conditions that are attached to it. That is why in this kingdom we don’t celebrate promises, we celebrate covenants. To every provision, there is a condition attached to it.

James 1:25.
If he does not do what is required, where the conditions are not kept and the expectation of the heart is intact, God said that individual is deceiving himself. God is not a Father Christmas God but a covenant keeping Father. That simply means that for each one of us we must seek the conditions to meet, in order to secure the provisions that are made in His word. Church Gist. One of the conditions for securing the blessedness of redemption is the condition of stewardship. In God’s word, it is made clear to us that serving God is a vital requirement for accessing the kingdom of God. If you want the blessings of redemption, serving God is a vital requirement.

All through this week, we are going to be looking at this subject captioned; WE DO NOT BEG FOR A TURNAROUND IN THE KINGDOM.

I like us to take note of the following this morning, in the kingdom we do not beg to be blessed, rather we serve our way to be blessed. Exodus 23:25-26. From this scripture, it is clear that God has given us a clear channel to access His blessings and that channel, is not by begging, it is not by demanding, it is not by asking or requesting but rather by serving. Every commitment to serve commits God’s hand to bless. Job 36:11. Church Gist. The pathway to blessing is the pathway of service. Where a man lacks service, that man will lack blessings. It is not enough to desire to be blessed. We must understand the requirement to blessed and that requirement is the requirement for stewardship. Deuteronomy 28:1-2. We don’t beg for blessings, it is not begged for. It is secured by service.

When Isaac said to his son in Genesis 27 to “go and bring venison that my soul may bless you”. Blessing is always a reaction to service. The Bible says by the time he partook of that venison, he poured out the blessings of his heart upon the son Jacob. Church Gist. When Esau came, he said “I have already blessed him and he shall be blessed” because it has been stirred up from the soul by service.

We must understand that every service rendered to God is venison. When it is provided, suddenly you discover that the blessing is released. John 4:34. Every time we are out after souls, we are giving Him His meat and when He receives His venison, He releases blesses. The blessings of God will begin to reach each one of us.

  1. We do not beg to be promoted, we serve our way into promotion.
    Luke 19:17-19
Every one of them got their promotion by service. Psalm 75:6-7. Before God will set up, there is something He must judge. 1 Samuel 2:3. Church Gist. There must be something that you are doing that God will weigh to determine whether you are ripe to be lifted or not. Our promotion is always to our service.

When God meets a man serving Him, He will change their level. Like God’s servant will say God does not say thank you, He will simply lift you in response. For somebody, I see your level changing supernaturally.

As we conclude this morning, let’s take note:

God is not looking for who to enslave. He is looking for who to enthrone. Luke 22:25-30. We discover that enthronement comes by service. Daniel 12:3. Daniel 7:27. From the word of God, it is clear that the last days are days of enthronement. Church Gist. Who is God enthroning? He is enthroning His servant. Those who are ready to serve are positioned for thrones. I see each one of us as we position ourselves in service, rising to enthronement.

Lift your voice and ask for the grace to be committed to stewardship.

  • As you have asked this morning, the grace will be made manifest.
  • You will serve to the point of blessing. You will serve to the point of enthronement and promotion.

Speak to Your Day and your Week.
The last week of the month and the first half of this year, speak to it now.

  • The day and the week are declared blessed.
  • The best of the first half of the year answers for you this week.
  • It shall be a week of multiple glad tidings.
