IN OUR GENERATION TODAY, ESPECIALLY IN AMERICA WE HAVE SO MANY HEARTS THAT ARE BLIND.
BECAUSE OF THE IGNORANCE OF WHO GOD IS IN THE NATIONS OF THE EARTH, REVIVAL IS NECESSARY.
SEASONS OF CONFRONTATION FROM HELL ARE SEASONS OF MANIFESTATION.
WE NEED IN OUR GENERATION TODAY THOSE WHO CAN SHOW THE WORLD WHO GOD IS.
HOW A YOUNG MAN WAS DELIVERED FROM A demonic SPIRIT THAT POSSESSED HIM FROM CHILDHOOD.
HOW A wizard LANDED IN PERSON WHEN WE WENT FOR A CRUSADE IN ZAMBIA.
THERE IS THE NEED FOR REVIVAL SO THAT PRAYER LIFE, FASTING AND STREET EVANGELISM CAN RETURN BACK.
‘IF YOU REMAIN ON THE SAME SPIRITUAL PLANE FOR TWO CONSECUTIVE DAYS YOU ARE BACKSLIDING’.
BECAUSE OF THE INIQUITY IN THE WORLD AND APOSTASY IN THE CHURCH THERE IS A BACKSLIDING.

Very very quickly, I want to charge us on “THE CALL FOR REVIVAL”. In the Book of Psalms 85:6-7. Our objective this morning is to understand the reason why revival is needed and to quickly step into a short prayer for revival. Church Gist. There is no doubt that our world is in need of very drastic revival today. The question is, why is revival called for? Revival is called for:
1. Because of the ignorance of the world about God Isaiah 61:2, 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
We live in a world today that is largely ignorant of who God is, they know more about movie stars than about the Almighty God. Church Gist. Our generation knows more about sports stars, music stars, unbeliever billionaires, social media, more than they know about God – The world is largely ignorant about God. Ephesians 4:17-18, I thought that it can only be the eyes that could be blind, but I am seeing that hearts can be blind.
In our generation today, especially in America today we have so many hearts that are blind. There was a time when there was the Ten Commandments in classrooms, it was removed long ago and as it was removed long ago, violence exploded because in those Ten Commandments one of them was, ‘Thou shall not murder’. Church Gist. And for as long as those children saw that, nobody thought of carrying gun to school and violently shooting aimlessly in the school and killing many. We have a blindness today, a darkness today, our generation must be brought to the knowledge of who God is. Who is God? Who is the real God? What can He do? Because of the ignorance of who God is in the nations of the earth, revival is necessary.
2. The confrontation of the Church from hell
There is a confrontation of the Church from hell, the gate of hell is in confrontation with the Church today. In Acts of the Apostles Chapter 8, there was a persecution in the Church from verse one if you read all the way. It was in the midst of that persecution and that confrontation that the revival exploded in Samaria. Church Gist. Seasons of confrontation from hell are seasons of manifestation! Beloveth brothers and sisters, it is like the world is saying to the Church: “Where is your God? What can your God do?” You have so much theory, tell us about God, show us about God, manifest what your God can do. That was why Elijah said: “The God that answereth by fire, let Him be God”. We need in our generation today those who can show the world who God is so they can know there is a God.
In Acts of the Apostles Chapter 5:13, the Bible said: “The rest of the world could not mix up with the Church”, He said: ” For the people magnified them” – They feared them, the Church was a terror to the world. Today the Church is a ridicule, Church is ridiculed, Church is mocked by the secular media, is mocked by all and sundry because there is a shortage of power, there is a lack of revival, there is a bankruptcy of the manifestation of God. Church Gist. And that is why I am here in this season, I believe there is a Pastor in America, I believe there is a Minister of God here God will raise up to silence the mockery of hell, to silence the ridicule of darkness, to silence the agitation of hell. If there is anyone like that here, shout the loudest Amen. If there is someone God is going to use to let the world know that they cannot continue to mock the Church, to let the world know they cannot continue to ridicule the Church, to let the world know they cannot continue to take the Church for granted, that the Church cannot continue to be their topic in their tabloid, to let the world know that we are not just playing Church, to let the world know there is power in Church. Beloveth brothers and sisters, if there is no reason why you will crave for revival, you must crave for revival by letting God know you want to be that instrument that will be used to silence the world, to silence the mockers, to silence the mockeries.
We went for a Crusade in Zambia and while the Crusade was on, at the Crusade ground there was a witch that was flying from one country to another country and he came across the Crusade ground and he experienced witchcraft engine failure and this wizard dropped on the ground. Church Gist. And when they went to him to ask what happened, he said: “I am sorry, I wasn’t coming here, I was just flying from one country”. He was an international wizard! “I don’t know what happened I just came here and I couldn’t fly anymore”, he landed in person. They didn’t know what to do with him, they called the police, they carried him.
We are in the days of the manifestation of the sons of God, ‘For the earnest expectation of creatures waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God’. Church Gist. I am not here for theory, I want somebody here to say: “Lord, I want you to use me in America, I want to be your instrument in Mexico, in Canada, in Dominican Republic, I want to show the world there is a real God and that the agents of darkness cannot continue to mock and ridicule the Church”. Without any doubt something will happen to you, your Ministry. God is looking for you. Are you available?
Declarations: I am available!

3. Because of the plague of the last days
And the plague is in two-fold. The Bible said in the Book of 2 Timothy 3:1-3, ” In the last days, perilous times shall come men shall be lovers of themselves”. The plague is in two folds, the first fold is: the iniquity of the world and the second fold is the apostasy of the Church. So let’s start from the first one. There is an explosion of iniquity, there is an explosion of wickedness. Kids are taking guns and killing people now, all manner of wickedness and violence, the spirit of perversion with backing legislation, iniquity exploding in our generation. Church Gist. What Sodom and Gomorrah did that made them destroyed in one day is happening in our eyes and it’s escalating and multiplying, iniquity! Maybe one of these days somebody will walk down somewhere and say: “I want to marry my dog”. It is already happening right? It is an explosion of unbelievable, unimaginable wickedness, gangs and gangsterism, drug addiction, all manner. For that purpose, we need power! You know what occurred to me one day? The young man came to meet me, he had become a Pastor and for maybe the last 3 years he had never had a relationship with his wife, he got married but never felt attracted for his wife. And he had about two children almost accidentally and he never felt any attraction to his wife.
I’d like you to hear this, so I said to him what happened? He said: “Growing up as a child he realized that when people talk about girlfriends he wasn’t interested”, he was more attracted to men than to women and he had the calling of God on this life and then became a Pastor and then the situation continued. He said one day he got a job in a hotel and he went to the receptionist of the hotel, he felt like sharing his problem with that man and the man said: “Me too”, that was how they hooked up and he continued. He said: “Sir, I’m not happy with it but I can’t understand why I am not interested in women, only men”. And then I realized this is demonic! This is a spirit that possessed him from childhood that must be dealt with. So I realized it is not everyone who steps in there because they want such a lifestyle, they are driven by something beyond their power and that thing beyond your power needs raw power to break, it takes an anointing. I placed him on a 3-day fast and I said: ” This thing can be broken and I am going to break it”. Are you hearing what I am saying here today? There are so many people under very very pervasive action, carried out very very oppressive actions, actions beyond their control. They are driven to do certain things and they cannot understand why they do them. It takes raw apostolic power, primitive biblical power to break such yoke.
-And I don’t know who is here I am speaking to right now, God is giving you such a power and everyone here today that is under any form of behaviour, any form of characteristics you don’t understand in yourself, that yoke is broken right now!
I heard a story of a man after the great Healing Evangelist A.A. Allen had passed, the man came to an Evangelist he said: “I used to be a drunkard, a terrible drunkard, I was a drunk and I lived like a drunk until the Man of God A.A. Allen met me, laid hands on me and broke that devil and cast out that drunk demon and I became free”. You know what he said? He said: “Somehow, after many years I slipped back into that problem again, he said my question is: Is there nobody like Allen anymore? Is there no one who carry such a power anymore? Is there no one who can set me free like Allen did?” And that is the real question right now.
-But I see people rising out of here, I see Pastors rising out of here, I see Ministers rising out of here and the yoke is broken!
One Pastor flew all the way from South Africa to Nigeria, that is like six to seven hours of flight. He dreamt in the night and a strange demon met him and the demon said he was his wife and when he woke up in the morning he had no need for his wife anymore and his life became terrible to the point where his Ministry was almost gone, he entered into all manner of terrible lifestyle and he said he know what? “I don’t care whether I am a Pastor or not but I want to be a Christian, I want to go to Heaven, I want to be a Christian”. Church Gist. He said: “I’m going to go to Nigeria, I’m going to see that Man of God”, he said: “I felt somehow supposing I tell the man everything about me and he look down on me and he rebukes me and he cast me out, he said well whatever happens I’m going to go”. When he came and he told me what the challenge was I placed my hand around him like this and I said: “It is well with you, we will work on it together and you shall not be condemned. You have the problem and you brought yourself, I placed him on a program, gave him books to read, laid hands on him, broke that yoke”. When he was through, he said: “Sir, I don’t have transportation airfare back, all I have because Ministry was already gone”… I gave him the airfare back to South Africa. During our last Conference, he was back to testify that that yoke was broken. This is why we need the power of God.
There is a generational emergency, people are dealing with forces beyond their power and they need to be set free and they need to be delivered. Because of the iniquity in the world, apostasy in the Church there is a backsliding, massive falling away! Someone thinks that until you start smoking and doing drugs that is when you backslide, no! Smith Wigglesworth said: “If you remain on the same spiritual plane for two consecutive days you are backsliding”. If you are not moving forward, you are going backward. Not many can pray anymore, not many can fast anymore, many have left their first love. When you came to the Lord, the number of hours you pray, number of hours you fasted, evangelism, soul winning, worship, all night of praise – That is not there anymore. So many are so comfortable now, there is no need to fast anymore as long as you can preach and all of that, it is all okay! And so many people today are famished and there is the need for revival. So that prayer life can return back, so that fasting can return back, so that street evangelism can return back! So that all-night prayers can happen. Even if there was no coffee, even if there was no Service of Tea, so that intercessory prayers can be on, so that the spirituality of D.L. Moody, the spirituality of Charles Spurgeon, Charles G. Finny, in America can be restored, so that the original fire can begin to burn. Because of the apostasy of the Church, there are not many Pastors who can pray for one hour now, there are not many Pastors who can fast for 3 days now, no! There is no need! It’s an official business! Beloveth brothers and sisters, God Almighty needs to bring us to a revival! A revival in America that will change everything!
4. It is because of the explosion of infirmities and afflictions
There is an explosion, the world is sicker today than 10 years ago. Everything! Physicians will confirm it. The World Health Organisation was founded 75 years ago, 1948 to handle diseases and all of that. Church Gist. When that organization was founded, diseases that were called incurable, you could count them on your fingers like this – this is incurable. By the time you must have counted five or six, you have counted too much! Today, diseases that are termed incurable are uncountable, new afflictions coming out every day, new viruses being discovered, some being invented.
When you were born did it ever cross your wildest imagination, that a day will come you remain in your house for one year without going out, without going to Church, without going nowhere and cover your nose with a mask and just remain like that with social distancing and all those kind of setup and locking down? Did it cross your mind that for any reason under Heaven, you could be stopped from going to Church? Church Gist. And the Church was more of the major target, I don’t know of your country but in our country when the marketplaces and the malls were open, Church was still closed. Most Churches have not recovered, most Churches have not returned back, some have closed permanently. I just heard that 37,000 Churches closed in America! That devil is a liar. For that 37,000 we trust God for 370,000 to open, ten times that number!!! Are you hearing what I am saying here? We need the raw power of God, we need a revival in America, in the world.
It was the Bubonic Plague that was the basis of the explosion of John Alexander Dowie, he buried people until he buried so many people. And he said: “Lord, I am not called to bury, I need your power!” And Acts of the Apostles 10:38 exploded for him, how God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and power, He went about doing good and healing all that was oppressed of the devil for God was with Him. And it sparked off that way of revival that John G. Lake queued into, Fred Francis Bosworth queued into and all of them moved in that realm. Church Gist. Then the Second World War, then the depression, then the poverty, then affliction multiplied, then the healing revival stepped out. It stepped out of a situation of frustration when the earth was confronted.
People like Oral Roberts, T.L. Osborn, people like William Branham, they all came out of that season when the world was challenged. Every time there is a challenge on the earth, it becomes a foundation for revival. All manner of failures, kidney failures! When I was in medical school, I am a medical doctor by training and my wife. When I was in medical school, I never saw one kidney transplant, it was non-existent even dialysis was new. Today! Haaa! No! And then you are talking cancers, prostates, liver, just multiplied. After almost thirty-something years, I hear some names of some diseases today, I say: “Which one is this one?” Oh! Is it this? Wow! I don’t know of you, but you are going to ask God: I know revival is set and I want to be an instrument.
5. The explosion of evil activity and altars in the earth
Evil altars! We are in the days where witches and wizards come out and say: “I am a witch! I am a wizard!” This is what we want to do! The days where sidekicks are getting so much patronage than in those days. Church Gist. Evil activities exploding, some of these evil people step into the altar and call themselves Priests and Pastors. And many of us are not discerning in this Endtime because everyone who can prophesy is a Man of God. Anyone who can lay hands on the sick and they are healed, no! We are in the time now where there must rise up the Rod of Moses to swallow up the rods of the magicians!
People with the Rod of Moses, people with authentic anointing, authentic grace from Heaven to swallow the rods of the magicians. We are in the time where Elijah must finally end the prophets of Baal finally! Finally we are in those days, so that the God who answers by fire, let Him be God. Church Gist. I don’t know how you feel, but the Lord is counting on you and on me because every generation is responsible for that generation. We are responsible for our generation. There is a responsibility on you for your city, there is a responsibility on you for your nation, there is a responsibility on you for your community. In our own nation, we took responsibility in many ways, we are still on. Halleluyah! And God will help us!
