#LastPicture
The last picture Archbishop Idahosa and Archbishop Margaret Idahosa] took together (in the USA).
About a week later, he went home to be with the Lord.
.
As we celebrate his remembrance today, the 12th of March, we thank God for the legacy he left behind in Archbishop Margaret Idahosa].
Here are some little known facts about them as told by my sister, @findyrpath, (Ruth Idahosa) in #IdahosaLoveStory.
……
Thank you to everyone who read and commented on my posts about the unconventional love of my parents, Benson and Dr. Margaret E. Benson-Idahosa, this week. These posts weren’t intended to paint a picture of a perfect marriage. Their marriage certainly wasn’t perfect but their love was purposeful.
This was the last picture they took together before he left us.
His loving gaze remained on her.
Perhaps one day, a book will be written to showcase more of their love story. In the meantime, I would love to hear some of your takeaways. What did you learn that you didn’t know before? Does their story change yours? How will you love differently? Will you choose to love well?
