No student determines the timetable of the examination, the authorities do. No employee seeking a job determines the time of the interview, the employer does. You don’t determine your interview for a promotion, your employers do. Your time of visitation is not determined by you, it is determined by God. You miss the exam timetable for any reason, you are not changing class even if it is your father that owns the school and you are his heir and only son. Be sensitive to heaven’s timing. It can be frustrating to miss God’s timetable. Luke 19:41. In the name of Jesus, no one here will ever miss God’s time of visitation in their life again. It comes without announcement. I was in the bathroom, “arise, get down to Lagos”. It can come at any time, not programmed for, not planned. The same day I dispatched staff to be here. You better be spiritually smart. He is a God of set time, He is a God of times and seasons. Church Gist. The next three and half weeks, I can tell you as a Prophet, will set some fellows up in the skies without a human hand, to show that it is God. I am not looking for a name, I have carried more names than I can ever qualify for in my life. I am not looking for fame, I have never searched for fame in my life. I am looking for you to fulfil God’s enviable agenda for your life. Please respond. Lining up with God’s instruction today secures your generations after you when you do it with delight. It is a kingdom of responsibilities. The laws of the spirit are tougher than the laws of the Old Testament. You look at a thing to own it, not that you have done it. He said you have committed it. Please respond, be spiritually equipped. I won’t miss you this time. I am the new Bartimaeus. His frustration ended by taking full advantage of that issue. Someone is here, the last struggle you had is the last you will ever have.
Father speak to us again in Jesus name. Amen. I want to make two very important announcements, please note that the economic gloom we see across the nations of the earth is just beginning. It is therefore wisdom to take covenant cover and take a strong stand in the covenant not to end a victim. How strong is this covenant cover? Ask your Church where no economic situation and circumstance has affected her economy since inception. You may not believe testimonies of individuals but you can’t be in this Church and be wondering whether what we are saying is true or not. Except you are just a double Thomas. The Bible talks about some are dead, some are twice dead. Church Gist. So you can have double Thomas that doubts what he sees. Thomas saw Jesus and said “my Lord”. Your own will say “No! It can’t be you. You are not my Lord. No one has died from my village and come back”. Here is a Church that has never begged, has never borrowed, has never taken bank overdraft and didn’t start as a Church of many. Started as a Church of 4 then 6, then 12, then 50 yet never borrowed. Then 1000 never borrowed. Now is running multi-billion projects all around the world and yet never took money from our foreign missions. That’s how strong a covenant cover is. Malachi 4:1. “All those people that Papa has brainwashed”. You see how brainwashed we are, properly washed, properly decorated. It doesn’t matter where you live, where you stand in the covenant is more important. God’s covenant is open to all believers, everyone chooses his stand. The bad news is that it will get worse and worse for the world but better and better, more glorious and enviable so for those who will take their stand in the covenant. All through Coro, no effect. No payment of salaries one day later. It is not 20,000, it is not 30,000 or 35,000 people every month. “Oh! They are printing money”, go and print. We are under the blessing, under the covenant. I am saying this to everybody in the world. If you find it otherwise let me know. You better take cover today, before the heat comes. A word is enough for the wise.
Get yourself together on Sunday and see how to locate your place in the covenant. I came under it in 1987. I saw my financial, prosperous, devil taunting destiny in Christ and I shouted it. It is not where you work, it is not your profession or your career, it is coming under the blessing that makes rich and adds no sorrow. Nations are indebted and increasingly so year in, year out. The payoff date is not near in view. When the heat of famine came down to Egypt, people were offering themselves for sale but Israel dwelt in Goshen. Church Gist. God’s people dwelt in the same nation, they had possessions, they increased and multiplied exceeding in the same nation, same season, under the same circumstances. The covenant is master of all circumstances. My prayer is that no one in your generation will ever beg bread by taking cover under the covenant now.
My friends, I earned my last pay in your Church in December 1987, it was between me and God. Nobody heard it from my mouth until 1996. I had my own personal account in 1991. Can I appeal to you? If you don’t want to serve, step aside and let another take your place. It’s an honour to serve in any set agenda of God. Honour Jesus. All those small obedience counts a lot in defining where one’s life is heading. Will this Church ever pay me what He pays me forever? No! It is a prosperous Church but they will carry placards if they have to pay me that. Church Gist. Let me tell you something. Over 80 per cent of my income is not from this Church environment. I am telling you the true truth. When God pays you, He brings fish from everywhere and you can’t put anything in my hand without a certified source. I will always ask “what do you do Sir?”. If what you do has no name then thank you, Sir. I have returned houses given to me, not because it is not from the right source. May the blessings that returned with Abraham even though he returned with Isaac return with you. My prayer is that this rewarder God will be allowed to reach out to your life.
Every cell must be represented in that Summit. Either the leader is there or the assistant is there because the things that will be discussed should go down to the root of every cell and you are in charge of the root. The Lord said to me “I have not called you because you are smarter than everyone else. I have only given you a privilege, should you abuse it there are better hundreds at the door”. He told me that when the mandate was delivered so I don’t go about with a big head. There are better hundreds than you should you abuse it. They won’t pay anybody a dime so take it or leave it, there are better hundreds than every one of us including me. We are not here because we are the best, we are only privileged. No one can raise his shoulders against God. Church Gist. I am giving you this instruction as an instructor privileged by God. Walk straight and enjoy the best of God. Humbly so, there is no human hand as to how I arrived who I am. There is no one I ever consulted privately in 41 years in determining where grace has brought me. You won’t need any human appraisal to get to wherever God wants to take you. Just please God and then you have won the war. It is your season of change of story.
FINANCIAL DOMINION IS MY HERITAGE IN CHRIST. 2 Corinthians 8:9. The price for our empowerment for wealth was paid through the death and resurrection of Christ. So it is part of our redemptive package. Regulation 5:12. When He rose from the dead, He brought back for us a seal of riches. Luke 10:19, Proverbs 22:7. The Church is enriched to rule over the heathen. You are not redeemed to be a borrower, you are redeemed to be a lender.
We are looking at OPERATING IN THE REALM OF FINANCIAL FORTUNE in our Midweek services and we will just lay the foundation today and enter into it in full force at the Financial Fortune Banquet. Psalm 66:12-14. That is the transition from under the old covenant into the new covenant. Jesus rose to bring us out from our pitiable state into a wealthy place. The same way He brought us out of sickness into health and wholeness, He brought us out of sin into His righteousness. He brought us out of the pit of penury into a wealthy place. We belong to a wealthy place in redemption but it takes giving God the first place in our financial stewardship to be empowered to flourish in hard places. Proverbs 3:9-10. Matthew 6:24,33. Church Gist. Every giving towards kingdom advancement brings believers to favour with God. 1 Chronicles 29:3, 28:4. God liked me and made me a king, I wasn’t a candidate but they called me from the bush. You are that one. David was a man with a heart for God, that was the only qualification that made him king. You can’t have a heart for God and not be His choice for honour. Anyone with a true heart for God ends up enthroned in his profession, career, ministry, his endeavour. May each one here reposition his heart after God in this season.
1 John 3:18, Psalm 119:97, 122:1. Every lover of God is a lover of His word. Psalm 119:46. Giving is proof of the sincerity of our love for God. David was an outlandish giver. It is not theoretical love, he was not just singing, he was all out for God. Psalm 55:17, 119:164. Love without proof is fake. The highfliers of this dark age are selfless lovers of God. People whose love for God is stronger than death. Romans 8:35, Daniel 3:17. They went through the fiery furnace without a feeling of fire. Love without proof is fake. You can roll on the floor and display acrobatics, it doesn’t mean you love Him. God’s love has tangible proof. May you never lack the proof of His love again. 1 Corinthians 2:9. Joel 2 is all about what eyes have not seen and ears have not heard. It is all about the end-time army. Obey the last command is what sustains you in the army. It is not doing it the way you like. If He says move, you move. He told us He will build this sanctuary in one year. He told us on the 17th of September, the 18th of September I started throwing the rope around. You move or the cloud leaves you behind. Every believer is enlisted in the end-time army. Read that enormous description of the end-time army. They are not casual people. They are not complacent “I will do it someday when it is okay for me”. Focused, unbroken focus is their identity. Church Gist. Psalm 102:12-15. Fearful favour pertains to God’s lovers with proof not theoretical lovers of love. Genuine commitment to kingdom advancement empowers believers to keep flourishing like the palm tree thereby stepping out of dry season into a lifelong flourishing experience. I want to believe God that an end comes to the dry seasons of your life this month as you enter into the word and enter into a covenant to make what He says your new way of life. It works like fire. You are stepping out of every misfortune into realms of unending favour.
No situation can resist the authority and the power of the covenant of scriptures. Psalm 89:34. If you enter it, you live above all situations and circumstances. Jeremiah 33:20-21. So we have a covenant as kings and priests to reign on the earth while the earth remains. If there is no light, the earth is finished. Plantlife is sustained by sunlight, animal life is sustained by plant life. Even we draw oxygen from plants. God’s covenant is far above what the devil in hell can break. If you enter into that covenant of financial fortune. No devil in hell can tamper with its effect. It is important for us to know the guaranteed returns on our seed sown. The covenant is all about our seed sown. Don’t expect a harvest without engaging the seed time process. Church Gist. Genesis 8:22, 2 Corinthians 9:6-7. So giving is sowing, receiving is harvesting. If you think because of hunger you finish all your corn this year, you have finished all your corn for the future. You must reserve some for sowing otherwise your field will become barren and hunger will set in. We need a good understanding of what guarantees returns on our seed sown.
Job 22:21-29, Proverbs 13:15. Good understanding is vital to making the most of your Christian journey. You step into fortune with the law that puts you in command of financial fortune and with the words of God that helps you to engage with that law acceptably and productively and then you shall have gold as dust. Church Gist. People will get angry but they can’t do anything because He is your defence. When men shall say there is a casting down you will say there is a lifting up. So get excited, that is you from today.
Please don’t pull your shoulders against God, He doesn’t need you and me for anything. His name is I AM that I AM. You obey Him – I AM, you disobey Him – I AM. He told me in 1987, I was going for a conference with the Full Gospel people, He said “tell them that far be it from me that I the Almighty depends on them for replenishing. For their wretched purses depend on me for replenishing”. Isn’t that a shocker? So don’t stand in your church and say you are the sponsor. God says He needs something and you say “how much do you need?” How much do you have? And who gave it to you? Many businessmen have crashed by playing sponsorship. “Pastor what did you say we need? How much will it cost? Come and see me tomorrow with all the elders”. Nobody has the capacity to sponsor God. Don’t ever pose as a sponsor in the house of God, you may run dry overnight because pride goes before destruction.
Demand for guaranteed returns.
- We must recognise that our seed is not a financial donation to help the Church, help the poor or the ministry but our seed is a covenant transaction that answers in heaven and triggers supernatural order of blessings on the earth.
So it is not a donation, it is a spiritual transaction. Noah raised an altar on earth and God responded from heaven. Genesis 8:20-22. The sacrifice was on the earth, God smelt it in heaven. Abraham went to offer a sacrifice on Mount Moriah and God answered from heaven. Genesis 22:15-17. David raised an altar of sacrifice in 2 Samuel 24:24-25 and it answered in heaven and God said to the angel that slew the land to stay his hand. Church Gist. So it is a spiritual transaction, when you give to the needy it is a spiritual transaction. Proverbs 28:27. Understand the spiritual dimension of it, it will keep you level headed as God gives you grace because many financial giants are rising here. God does not promote the proud, therefore humble yourself under the mighty hand of God that in due time He may promote you.
Solomon raised an altar and God appeared and said ask me what you want. Every sacrifice is a spiritual transaction that provokes supernatural breakthroughs and blessings on the earth.
- Our financial seed sown is a covenant that guarantees a supernatural harvest.
2 Corinthians 9:6-8
God is too big to be in need. He is too big, He is the source of everything. God is too big to need men’s help. If you are not spiritual about it, you won’t get anything out of it. Church Gist. That is where everyone connected to this Commission is ending, where you have all sufficiency in all things and continue to abound in every good work. Your days of lack and want are finally over.
- For our seed to command maximum returns, we must sow it willing.
Don’t pose to God, He knows your level, He knows my level. You are at a #1 level today, never mind it will soon be #10. Soon it will be #100 and with your eyes open it will soon be #10,000. God, what is happening? You have not seen anything yet, now it is #50,000. God, what have I done to merit it? #100,000 and soon #500,000. Church Gist. I told them in our old Church to begin putting their offering in an envelope because a time will come when you raise your offering it can depress other people. I said a time is coming when your offering will not take an envelope, you will have to write a cheque. May you not back out of this journey. The journey is open-ended, it stops when you stop.
Exodus 35:4-7,22, 36:6 || 1 Corinthians 9:17.
Finally, we must continue to remind ourselves that whether we give or not, God remains the I AM.
- The end has come to lack in your life.
- No one shall beg for bread in your family.
- Prosperity shall remain the identity of your generations after you.
Psalm 112:1-9
Those in this covenant don’t fear anything, the future is more real than the day to them. This thing is not sweet, it is not made up.
- Your days of struggling for survival are over
- Your days of not knowing what to do next are over.
- It is your season of release.
