I ANNOUNCE TO YOU TODAY, WHAT DARKNESS HAS COVERED THAT IS BELONGING TO YOU, TONIGHT, THEY SHALL BE UNCOVERED
THERE ARE CHURCHES THAT THE devil CHANGED THE SIGNPOST TO ‘HAIRDRESSING SALON’ IN THE SPIRIT REALM, THAT’S WHY THE CHURCH IS NOT GROWING.

Speaking very quickly on the subject, “Light Has Come – The Power of Light”. Isaiah 60:1-3. Church Gist. The theme of this invasion is, “Light has Come” and tonight we are dealing with the Power of Light.
First of all, we want to understand the power of light over darkness and then we want to understand the handling of darkness. Church Gist. I want to say tonight that the most important and significant power of light is its power over darkness and the forces of darkness. I want to clarify tonight that Light remains the cure for darkness. Whether it’s the darkness of witchcraft, occultism, iniquity, bondage, every form of darkness you have ever been exposed to, the darkness of premature. Church Gist. The Bible said, “The dark places of this earth are filled with the habitations of cruelty”. Light remains the answer to darkness. Light remains the cure for darkness. Light is the antidote – the way someone is bitten by a snake and they give him anti-snake venom, in the same manner, Light is the antidote for darkness. Church Gist. Light is the answer for the question of darkness. Darkness reigns and rules only in the absence of light.
As I speak tonight, I want your heart to come alive because Africa is plagued by the forces of darkness. Darkness of iniquity, bondage, witchcraft, occultism, underdevelopment, backwardness, premature death. Church Gist. You have families where elders are living but young people are dying. They’re growing older, the young are dying. You have places where the darkness of anti-marital curse – young ladies that are mature to be married can’t get married, all forms of darkness over Africa.
- But, I came here by the anointing of the Holy Ghost and I decree today, the end of darkness has arrived in your life! The end of darkness has arrived in your family! The end of darkness has arrived in your community! The end of darkness has arrived in your territory, in Ghana, in Nigeria, in Africa!
- shout the loudest Amen!
Listen to this; very quickly, what is the power of light over darkness?
- The Domination of darkness. Light arrives for the domination of darkness. What is the meaning of that? Church Gist. That is, Light causes darkness to lose its throne; Light causes darkness to lose its rule; Light causes darkness to lose its reign; it causes darkness to cease to be in charge. John 1:5. I don’t know where darkness has been enthroned, where it appears as if evil is more powerful than good; as if wickedness is more powerful than the goodness of God.
- Listen, I came here today, everywhere around your family and your life where darkness has a throne, today, darkness is dethroned! It’s dethroned from your family! It’s dethroned from your community!
- I am speaking to a Pastor here tonight, where darkness seems to be in charge of the Church, where negative occurrences, negative events and negative testimonies seem to be occuring, I announce today, the throne of darkness is over! The rule of darkness is over! The reign of darkness is over!
- The displacement of darkness. Light causes darkness to lose place. It causes darkness to lose any place it claims to have. It causes darkness to shift from where it has traditionally occupied. Church Gist. Revelations 12:9. They lost their place, it was displaced. When light comes, darkness must be displaced.
- Everywhere darkness has traditionally occupied in your community, in your family, in your territory, I am anointed to announce that darkness is losing place now! Darkness is losing place in your family! Darkness is losing place in your community! Darkness is losing place in the Church! Darkness is losing place in your nation! It’s losing place in my nation!
When you step back from here and you went back to your community and a witch appears and say, “don’t you know who I am?” Church Gist. Tell him, “you have lost your place! I have just returned back from a fire program and I came to announce you that you have lost your place!” - Those forces they fear in your village and your community, your arrival shall be their disappearance!
- The disarming of darkness.
Light disarms darkness. It causes darkness to be stripped of its arms and weapons. Light occasions the powerlessness of darkness. Darkness was powerful until Light appeared and it lost its ammunition and weapons. Church Gist. Suddenly, the witch realized it cannot fly anymore, this was what happened in one of the crusades we had in one of the African countries and it has also happened in our Church before. We were having an all night in Church- Area one Church, and all of a sudden, they found a witch woman on the ground, she was the same colour as the ground when they harvested her and asked: What happened to you? She said, ‘I am sorry for coming here’!
She was flying somewhere in Nasarawa State Nigeria going to Niger State Nigeria for a witchcraft meeting and she came across a no-fly zone. As we were having a Worship and Wonder Night, all of a sudden, there was a lateral engine failure, the witchcraft flight engine failed and she dropped on the ground- A woman with five children with herself and her husband in witchcraft, flying until she was disempowered, deweaponized and disarmed. Church Gist. That is the kind of thing that I am saying here tonight.
-In the Name that is above every Name- Jesus Christ of Nazareth, every force of darkness that has been armed against you, your family and your nation has lost its power tonight!
Declaration: In the Name of Jesus, by the Light in my hand, I disarm the power of darkness now!
-I strip the devil of every power Matthew 28:18. Church Gist. Beloved brothers and sisters, get ready for what I’m saying shall be real in your life.
-Everywhere those who had power shook hands with you, may their power fail! Whenever they come into your vicinity, their charms will fail because of the superiority of power!
- The demystification of darkness
Light causes darkness to cease to be a mystery. Darkness is only a mystery where Light does not exist. I’m sure that you have seen some mysterious people and situations before and you say, ‘What mystery is this? I kept myself pure, I never knew a man and I have gotten married and they say that I have a tubal failure on both sides which should have been a product of infections and then the tubes are blocked and I cannot have a child. What mystery is this? Am I communicating at all? I have done everything that I know how to do but what kind of mystery is this? It is a function of darkness and when Light comes, darkness is unraveled, demystified and exposed Matthew 10:26. Church Gist. It causes darkness to be ‘nakeded’ (Permit me to use that word). Light makes darkness naked and also exposes them. This is the meaning of this to you: Because Light has come, everything that is a mystery around your life and family shall be exposed!
Everything that is mysterious about your Ministry. You say, ‘Why is it that I am here, I have fasted and done everything I need to do yet this is not moving. Why is life like this?
-By the Light I speak about, the mystery shall be unraveled in the dream of the night, the revelation of the night and in the studies of the Scriptures in Jesus’ Name!
Declaration: Every mystery around my life shall be exposed by the power of Light!
There are people watching me from all over the world because we are broadcasting on Dunamis Television. I pray for you: Overnight, God shall give you an encounter! Church Gist. You will be led to understand the reason why things are happening the way they are happening in your life, in the Name of Jesus!
One man told a story in our Church, he bought a new car. I think that he travelled to the village to tell the people that he bought a car and that was his offence and therefore continually, he will drive the car for one day and the car will drive him to the mechanic for five days, and the tyres will be removed- All manner of terrible things! And then in the night, God encountered him and he saw that same car parked in the village with no tyres. Church Gist. The car that is meant to be driven in the town is parked and grounded in the village without tyres. So every attempt to fix the car in Abuja was a waste of time because they had parked it in the village. That was how God delivered the tyre and the car in the dream and he woke up in the physical and what was not working began to work. Am I speaking to somebody here?
-Every mystery around your life and destiny shall be exposed by the power of Light!
A woman trusting God for the fruit of the womb was taken in the realm of the Spirit. And in the night, she saw her two ovaries tied and hung on the tree! That’s African technology! And God unraveled that mystery.
-Every mystery in your life is unraveled tonight!
- The discovery of the content of darkness
You know that the assignment of the devil is to cover things. There are things belonging to you that are under the covering of darkness. How many of you have been looking for something before? Light appeared and you saw what you were looking for! Let me give you a more drastic example: For places like the cupboard, under the bed and such kind of hidden places, maybe something dropped there and you turn on the torchlight and suddenly you saw that what you were looking for was there and besides that other things that you didn’t know were there were also found. Hey! By the virtue of Light, you saw what you would have forgotten, what you are looking for and what you have forgotten that you don’t know where it is anymore- By Light!
-Everything belonging to you that is under the cover of darkness. I am here by an Apostolic and Prophetic mantle to announce that, ‘It shall be uncovered’!
So, there are some of you here tonight that should have been a multimillionaire or a billionaire but darkness covered your riches. “I will give you the things that are yours that you have not seen because they have been covered by darkness”. Isaiah 45:3.
- Is there someone here God is speaking to? I announce to you today, what darkness has covered that is belonging to you, tonight, they shall be uncovered! Church Gist. They shall be exposed! Your resources, your talent, your potential, your favour, everything! In fact, your husband, your wife.
One day, we prayed on a bottle of oil for a man who is a minister of the Gospel. He came to me and said, “There are so many people in our Church who are not married. I want you to pray on this oil for me, so I can go and pray for them. There are many who don’t have children”. Church Gist. So, he anointed all of them. Suddenly, one man who has never married, over 60-something years went to another woman who has not married, for over 60-something years. Church Gist. They knew each other about 30-40 years ago and thought they should marry, but never married. He came to her and said, “Where have you been?” They have been in the same Church for the last 15-20 years. What? “Where have you been? I’m meant to marry you, where have you been?” She said, “I have been here”. Devil is wicked o. Church Gist. That is, what is yours is passing by you, you’re not aware because it’s covered by darkness.
- I announce today by the Apostolic and Prophetic mantle of God, what darkness has covered around you, I declare, it is uncovered! Your husband-to-be is uncovered! Your wife-to-be is uncovered! Your resources are uncovered! Your destiny is uncovered! Your opportunities are uncovered!
- Tell seven people, “God just took off the cover!” The cover from your potential, resources, possessions and what is yours, God just took off the cover!
If this is what I came to Ghana for, I am fulfilled, that suddenly, somebody is about to see what the devil covered from you! Church Gist. Somebody is about to walk into what the devil covered away from you! Somebody is about to take delivery of what satan covered away from you!
God’s servant Bishop David Oyedepo went to God and said, “Lord, why is this Church not growing”. God said, “Come and see” and he came and saw a dark cloud, in Kaduna, in those days, 1983. Dark clouds covering the Church, He said, “that is the blindfolding influence of the devil that makes people not to see that there’s a Church here”. Church Gist. You know there are Churches, it’s meant to be a Church but the devil changed the signboard in the spirit realm, (like) ‘hairdressing salon’. Somebody is passing and instead of seeing (a Church signboard), he’s seeing, ‘hairdressing salon’, he’ll say, “I don’t want to cut my hair”, so, he just passes by. Church Gist. What is meant to be a restaurant or something, it’ll say, ‘tailoring shop’, they’ll say, ‘I’m not looking for a tailor’. That devil is a liar!
- Tonight, I announce to you, everything the devil has camouflaged around you and covered around you, I declare the cover is off!
- The dissolution of darkness. You know how salt dissolves in water, that is how light dissolves darkness. The dissolution and disappearance of darkness. The appearance of light is the disappearance of darkness. Church Gist. The manifestation of light is the de-manifestation or the dissolution of darkness. Darkness melts off. Revelation 12:8-9. One of us sang a song, ‘where is darkness at the sight of light? It evaporated at the glimpse of light’, it just disappeared.
Archbishop Benson Idahosa of blessed memory told a folktale that there was a land of terrible darkness and they came to tell the Sun that there is a town where there is no light at all (Permanent darkness) and the Sun said, ‘Can I visit and see the darkness for myself?’ And he said, ‘Yes, you can come’! Church Gist. And then the Sun travelled and went to that land of darkness and he was there for one to three weeks and after that time, he told the people, ‘You people said there was darkness here, I have been looking for the darkness, where is it? And they told the Sun, ‘If you are here, darkness cannot be here!
-Since you have arrived here, darkness cannot be here!- That is, what is about to happen in your family, nation, community and in the Church you are pastoring! Church Gist. The Light is appearing and the darkness is dissolving and disappearing!
Stand up on your feet as we take the final one.
- Light is the defeat of darkness 1 John 4:4.
We have seen the dissolution, justification, displacement and disarming of darkness. We will take this journey from here tomorrow. Let everyone in Ghana know that Light is burning here. I have three or four meetings tomorrow, what did you people do to me like this? Church Gist. We have the morning session here tomorrow and after that we have another one with Pastor Elvis, and we have the evening session here and also the youth meeting!
Now listen, before I came here God showed me what is going to happen here. There are witches and wizards that are already expired! Power!
How do you handle darkness?
- Arrive at Light Isaiah 60:1
Whatever you do, arrive at Light! Church Gist. We will give the details of that by tomorrow but arrive at Light!

When that woman missed her coin in Luke 15:8 she went and looked for light and decided to use the light to locate what was lost!
- Direct the Light at darkness
Any area of your life, Ministry and destiny where darkness seems to be working and proving a point, look for light to face that darkness. If you want to iron your clothes, you don’t need to look for a microphone, you look for a pressing iron. If you want to cook your food you don’t look for a pressing iron even though it generates heat, so you direct appropriate Light to appropriate darkness. The darkness of scarcity may not respond to the light of bodily ailment- Diverse light! Church Gist. Am I communicating at all? The insight and revelation that I’m looking for to handle scarcity and poverty is different from the one I’m looking for to kill ulcer and generational affliction. Just look for Light! Appropriate Light for the appropriate darkness and direct it! I will say two more things tomorrow.
Lift up your hands. I’m trusting God for an overflow tomorrow, inform your friends and loved ones. Church Gist. What you saw today is kindergarten compared to what God will show us tomorrow morning and evening!
