STOP TRYING TO BLEND IN! REMNANTS DON’T BLEND IN, THEY STAND OUT.
GOD IS LOOKING FOR A REMNANT THAT WILL TREASURE THE SECRET PLACE ABOVE THE PUBLIC SPACE.
DON’T JUST FOLLOW PEOPLE, WE HAVE LEFT THE DAYS OF PERFORMANCE.

BUT IF I’M FOUND GUILTY LET IT BE THAT I’M DESPERATE AND HUNGRY FOR GOD.

THE FEAR OF GOD ENHANCES OUR INTIMACY WITH HIM.
MANY ARE IN CHURCH BUT NOT IN TOUCH WITH GOD.

Holy Hill, wow! Father, we give you praise. Dr. Bempah, thank you so much. Of all the places we’ve gone, I think this is the most hungry congregation. What a people, what a Church filled with remnants who have been cultured in hunger. Church Gist. This is one place I’ve watched and that the Spirit of God is allowed to move outside the program. In the modern day Church, it is said that if the Holy Spirit is taken out, 95 percent will not know because they know what comes next but not when the Remnants gather. Because someone can be somewhere in Dominion Chapel and so soaked into what is happening that he controls what is happening on the altar. So get ready tonight. Church Gist. I do not actually know which angle fully, but one of the things we are taught by the Spirit and cultured by the Spirit is to yield. It is always better when it is Him not when it is you.
Tonight, the journey begins. We look at the subject, “THE REMNANTS – A PEOPLE OF HIS PRESENCE”. This is very critical that the journey begins here. Flight doesn’t begin from there, it begins from the ground. Church Gist. We are at the point now where God is saying tonight, “let the remnants board”. We will get there very soon. If your name is not on the list, you can’t board the flight, your money not withstanding. And so, people must get on the list tonight. Church Gist. That’s why we must understand the place of His presence. When you understand the place of His presence, it doesn’t matter who is present. The place of His presence blinds you from the presence of others. Romans 11:3-5. This is critical for remnants to understand, Elijah said, “I’m alone”. God said, “you’re not alone”. God answered, ” I have reserved to myself 7,000″. Church Gist. One man thought he was alone, God had 7,000. Romans 11:4. I trust God to help us understand, if you think you’re the only one that is hungry, you’ll be kicked off the list. God said, “I have the remnant”. Romans 11:5. Oh my God, I just heard Him. This year is different. It’s a leap year, next year, there’s no 29th. And God said, “there’s a remnant, I’m gathering them in the leap year to give them a leap”. Romans 11:4. Church Gist. I don’t know when we will have the opportunity to be gathered in the same content. I didn’t say there’s no other Awakening, but in this content, with this hunger, with this lineup, with this preparation. When next? Church Gist. Romans 11:5. We are not better oh, than the previous generation, it’s the election of grace.
– Hear me, I speak here tonight, there are mantles that will drop on you within this next three days that you have not laboured for!
Elijah was complaining, God said, “sit down, I have 7,000 more”. So, God has a reservation. When you get to the airport like I came from Abuja, then went through Lagos and came to Ghana, no matter the anointing, if you’re not on the list. Church Gist. There’s a reservation in this generation and they are here in Ghana. The way this thing came was very strange. “Lord, what are you saying for Ghana?” “The Remnants”. “Ah, ah, the Remnants? What did you say in Abuja, what are you saying in Ghana?” If you look at the events very carefully, this year, there’s an interaction in th spirit. Ah! There’s something in Ghana oh. Chale, there’s something. There’s something about to break loose. I came here with heavy desperation. I didn’t come as one who is not a remnant. I can’t share that tonight but the Lord with me down this morning. Church Gist. He said, “I send a remnant to the remaining remnants”, so we are all remnants. There’s a reservation. The agenda of the Lord in the now and next generation is always carried out by Remnants. We may not have time to trace that and pinpoint the protocols in Scriptures or the patterns because of the time that we have limited because there’s still going to be some interactions. Church Gist. It’s beyond just writing a note. There are things you can’t write that will enter you and cannot leave. It was one day, March 15 2020, I woke up in the morning worshipping God. If you’re aware, that was when the pandemic, America was one of those early nations to declare a lockdown. And I heard the voice of the Lord, He said to me, “men are made in crisis and voices are heard in crisis”. I can’t remember where I wrote it down but I can’t forget. Church Gist. He said, “what I will do with you in this lockdown season will change you”. When they thought it was lockdown, it was open heaven. Remnants are sensitive to the times and to the seasons. “For the Sons of Issachar had their brethren at their command because they were sensitive to the times and to the seasons”. That’s a remnant culture. Church Gist. Maybe that should even be the culture. Remnants are people of His presence.
I’m coming, this is just the beginning, then we fly. God is always ahead, that’s why He has remnants. God is always ahead, that’s why He has remnants, He sees ahead, He plans ahead, He knows ahead, He even creates ahead. Church Gist. Let me quickly sound this warning to our generation, 1 Kings 19:14,18, which mirrors Romans 11:3-5. Seven months ago, this Scripture came alive. Elijah said, “I’m alone”, God said, “you’re not alone”. Hear this and hear it well, the ignorance of the revelation of the Remnants will do the following damages in anybody’s life:
1. It will bring pride. “I don’t think there’s anybody as hungry as I am”. Who told you? It may damage you by bringing pride. Church Gist. That was what began to happen to Elijah till God realigned him. There must be a realignment here tonight.
2. It will bring depression. 1 Kings 19:3-4 and verse 18, suddenly a remnant became depressed because he thought he was alone. There’s what happens when you know you’re not alone. If your eyes in the spirit are open, you’ll see how many thousands of remnants are here. Church Gist. There’s no need to be depressed. Don’t allow the comment of one non-remnant to bring you out of the remnant group to join the common group. It will bring the damage of depression.
3. It will bring exemption from that group of the Remnants. Church Gist. Suddenly, you were there but now you have been excused because you never knew you were there. Romans 11:4.
4. It will bring you and keep you in a state of slumber.
There are many (people) sleeping and you hear them say: ‘Everybody is like that’. Everybody is not like that! My generation, everyone is not like that. Holiness is not old school, it is current school. For without holiness, no man shall see the Lord. Stop trying to blend in! Remnants don’t blend in, they stand out. And so if you lack revelation of it, it will keep you in a state of slumber. You will find that in Romans 8:7-8. Church Gist. Oh! I just heard Him: There is ‘the remnant’ and there is ‘the rest’. But there is something here that is utterly important – In this first night where this clarion call is made, this is where the Spirit of God is leading us to: We are a generation that largely seeks an abundance of revelation, we want to speak and it seems deep. So, you hear people say: ‘That was deep’. Not everything that sounds deep is from the deep waters. Some of the things from the deep waters are so simple that they cannot be grasped. But see this, while a generation is running for the abundance of revelation: ‘What is current now? What are people saying now? How can I blend in now? How can I be part of the move now’? All that is great but God desires a generation that will tarry in His presence.
There are times you stay and say nothing. A generation is looking at the stage, God is looking at the secret place. For God does not look like man looks, man may look on the outside but God looks into the heart. Not everyone that claims they are men of God… Does God see them as men of God? Whatever that means to you but I’m speaking to somebody here. Church Gist. God is looking for a remnant that will treasure the secret place above the public space. That’s why we said: The remnants, a people of His presence; this group is not for show. In fact, let me quickly tell you if you are ascending in God, oftentimes many will drop off you because you’ll become a threat to what is common or accepted. But follow this very well, beyond writing let it enter into you. Church Gist. Ghana, hear me! I heard the Lord very clearly today: “It is in His presence that we carry His fragrance”. What you stay around determines what you smell like. How can you tell a man or a woman has been around where food is cooked? They smell it. How can you tell a man has been around God? You sense it! God began to open my eyes in our generation and began to link me up with people who ‘smell Him’. When I see them I know and there is a kindred spirit. Please watch who you are relating with. I was going to tell Pastor Akesse that if he didn’t sing that song on Awake, I will tell him to sing it again. I’ve heard the song, I’ve eaten it, I’ve drank it more than most of you. The closest point to death is sleep, when you sleep tonight do you know where you are? And that song says: ‘You who sleep the sleep of death’. Then you look at somebody like my sister Abbey. This is the first time I am meeting her, it will shock you. I’ve not seen her one on one. When I heard her, I said: ‘This one carries the fragrance’. Me, I don’t… No!!! I’m not part of those people.
Be very intentional with the fragrance you surround yourself with. There are people you must drop oo to remain on the list (of remnants). My brother Dunsin Oyekan, Nathaniel Bassey, Victoria Orenze, my young brother Theophilus; all of… Please don’t just follow people, we have left the days of performance. See your Resident Pastor, that Man that was leading worship is Pastor oo. Church Gist. There is a realm you live where it is not rehearsal, it is culture. It is in His presence you carry His fragrance. In His presence, you carry His fragrance. So, to carry His fragrance you have to learn to tarry in His presence. Dunsin will say: 🎶 Leave me at the Altar with my Father 🎶. So much distraction! Hear me! I want to bring you out of an Instagram moment to an intimacy moment. Many kairos moments the Lord told me in 2023 are not camera moments. When you are with Him, who will record you? The remnants are a people of His presence.
Quickly, there are three essential elements that will help you become a remnant and a person of His presence.
1. The awe of God.
🎶 I stand! I stand in awe of You! (Our generation has almost lost that!) Holy God, to whom all praise is due. I stand in awe of You 🎶. It sounds like a soft song but I will show you the depth of it. The awe of God is not something to play around. 🎶 I stand! I stand in awe of You! Holy God, to whom all praise is due. I stand in awe of You 🎶. Church Gist. Do you know what it means to be in awe of God? It means to fear Him. Many of you fear men more than Him. That’s why a man can drag you out of your prayer time. How our parents grew up, where was the telephone in the prayer room? I think this thing happening to us is a strategy of hell; of which all of us, almost all of us are guilty. Do you fear Him to receive a call from a mortal man in the presence of the Immortal God? 🎶 Immortal, Invisible, God only wise. In light inaccessible hid from our eyes. Most blessed, most glorious, the Ancient of Days. Almighty victorious, Thy great name we praise 🎶

Why are you afraid to lose men without regard for the God that is already walking out? Let them go, let Him stay. Let them move, let Him stay. Church Gist. We now need to begin to review our fear. How much do we really fear Him? Many are in Church but not in touch. Many have the form but lack the power. Many have the acts but lack everything that should follow the acts.
God is saying, ‘Bring a generation back to fear me’ and when it’s prayer time, even (if) your boss calls you…when you close work, you should close work. When you are with God, you are with God. ‘What were you doing?’ Not ‘Oh, I didn’t hear it ring’. ‘I was in the presence of my Father’. Church Gist. What are you ready to lose to keep Him? There are places we carry this kind of message, they will never invite you back. But I’m coming again and I think we need to be having something like this every year.
The awe of God is already missing in a generation and look at 2 scriptures. Isaiah 11:3. Psalm 24:3-5. The awe of God is not fear for God. The fear of God is different from the fear for God. So, we are not saying run away from Him. Church Gist. We are saying when you have the awe of God as an essential element, it will enhance intimacy with God. There are things (that) if you truly fear your spouse you will not dare, even in their absence. Not fear them in terms of running from them, but honour them. The awe of God!
2: It’s a bit popular, it’s the love of God. But we didn’t start there because a generation has been cultured to love God without fearing God. Church Gist. It’s alright to love God but that’s not where to start. Fear God first.
I read a book, maybe a few months ago or almost a year ago and this great Evangelist was asked. At the point where he was being asked, he was already in prison. He was in prison, he was involved in many women’s matters, involved in fraud and all of that and this man, (a) young minister asked him, ‘How did you get here, what happened?’ He looked at him, he said ‘All the while, I loved God, but I didn’t fear Him’. Church Gist. That’s what is happening to the now-generation Church. We love God. ‘Oh! I love you. I will do anything. I will give’. All that is good, but do you fear Him? The secret life you are living, does it show that you fear Him? 2 Chronicles 16:19. God is saying here at Awaken Ghana, let it begin in the awe of God and then move to the fear of God.
3: Hunger for God. If you will be a man or woman of His presence, I won’t just tell you ‘Worship’. If you worship without the awe of God, it’s not going anywhere. If you worship without the love of God, it’s going nowhere. Church Gist. If your hunger is not palpable, you can’t be a carrier. I’m teaching you how not to wait till you come to Church to encounter His presence but how you can become a mobile carrier. That is, everywhere you go, He goes. Hunger! Matthew 5:6. The presence of God. A man and woman of His presence come at a cost. The cost of the fear of God, the cost of the love of God, the cost of hunger.
2023 I told God, ‘Lord, it’s alright for anybody to say that I’m guilty. But if I’m found guilty, let it be that I am desperate for you. Let it be that I am hungry for you’. Church Gist. Hear me, if no one has blamed you for going too far, you are not hungry. If in 2 years your company has not changed, you are not hungry, except they are also men of hunger because it is automatic that people will drop off you, it’s guaranteed. Psalm 42:1. Psalm 63:1,2.
So, I’ve said the remnants are men and women of His presence. To be a man and woman of His presence, the element of the awe of God…we should all go back home and really ask ourselves, how much do we really fear God? How much? Then, of course, our love for God. Matthew 22:37-40. Church Gist. The love of God which is what we share about almost everywhere, ‘Love God, love God’ We are loving God, but what is happening? There is no fear mixed in that love. Not that you run away from Him, but the fear of God makes you run to Him.
Just like the Altar will be opened in just a moment, I like you to forget about what the traditions have been. Church Gist. There are 2 (sets of) people that would need to be prayed for and will need to come to the Altar.
1: Those who have never committed to following Jesus.
2: Those who were once committed but need to recommit their commitment.
3: Maybe those who feel a separation. You’ve tried, you’ve confessed, you’ve prayed, you’ve done all of that but there seems to be a separation and you are saying…oh! I just heard Him. David said ‘Please, don’t take your Spirit’.
Create in me a clean heart, oh Lord and renew a right Spirit within me…
