AS YOU BELIEVE, THE VIRTUE OF JESUS GOES THROUGH INTO YOUR LIFE TO CAUSE EVERY DEAD OR DYING THING TO COME BACK TO LIFE

TODAY, BECAUSE JESUS IS THE SAME YESTERDAY, TODAY AND FOREVER, HE WILL STOP YOUR TEARS!

Jesus came among other things to stop our tears – our private tears, the tears we shed behind closed doors. He is the “Weep Not Messiah.” He came to stop our tears. Today, because he is the same yesterday, today and forever, he will stop your tears! Your private tears will be turned to public testimonies! Church Gist. Your weeping behind closed doors turned to testimonies on the altar because he is the same yesterday, today and forever! So he is come here to say this morning, weep not for I have overcome the world for you. Cheer up, your victory is settled, your deliverance is here, your healing is here, every closed doors around your life are declared open in the name of Jesus!
I have come to the Weep Not Saviour and I believe he is going to stop my tears today. I have come to the Saviour that stops tears and I believe he will stop my tears today. He, Jesus, will stop your tears! He will bring an end to your pains, he will rescue you from dungeon of darkness in the name of Jesus. Salvation is a bail out from the kingdom of darkness and the kingdom of darkness is the kingdom of weeping and gnashing of teeth. That’s what obtains in the kingdom of darkness. But Christ came and translated us from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of his own dear son who is the light of the world. Church Gist. Colossians 1:13. So he has rescued us from the kingdom of darkness where there is always weeping and gnashing of teeth – Matthew 25:30. That is the picture of the kingdom of darkness. But when we are saved, he has delivered us from the kingdom of darkness and translated us to the Kingdom of Light where darkness has no more hold on us. Darkness can’t hold light to ransom, darkness can’t arrest light, darkness can’t capture light, darkness can’t oppress light. You need to be conscious that Jesus has rescued you and me from the kingdom of weeping and gnashing of teeth to the Kingdom of Light.
While there is weeping and gnashing of teeth in the kingdom of darkness, on the other hand, there is joy and rejoicing in the kingdom of light. It is intoxicating joy that results to laughter. Psalm 2:4. So where we are seated, we laugh there. On the other side, they weep there. Church Gist. He stops your tears today. Everyone who is saved is delivered from tears. Everyone that will be saved today, will also be delivered from tears. It shall be bye bye to tears, weeping, gnashing of teeth in the name of Jesus!
Psalm 107:20 – that’s the Word sent to you this morning – that you have been delivered from the kingdom of darkness. No more weeping, gnashing of teeth! Revelation 5:1-5. Anytime he opens the book, it’s to stop our tears. When the book is opened, the tears are over. What the Holy Ghost is doing this morning is to open the book to you that now that you are saved, you don’t belong to the kingdom of weeping and gnashing of teeth anymore. Church Gist. Your case is different, you’re now a peculiar person, while others are weeping you’re laughing, where they’re losing you’re winning, when they’re down you’re up, when they’re sick you’re well, when they’re in fear you’re in confidence. That’s the book! Whenever the book is opened, tears stop. He will stop your tears today.
A woman called the Widow of Nain had only one son. The devil came and knocked down the son. Luke 7:11-16. As they were weeping, they were carrying the coffin to the burial ground and they met Jesus. “Weep Not.” Then, he touched the bier and the young man arose. The touch of Jesus stopped the tears. So one of the ways he stops tears is through the laying on of hands of the anointed. Today, he will stop your tears. Church Gist. He sent them to go into all the world and preach, he said I will confirm the Word as you lay hands upon the sick, they shall recover. Mark 16:20. In my name, as you lay hands on them, you shall cast out devils…Mark 16:18. So there’s so much in the touch of the anointed. Today, you will receive his touch, it will stop your tears.
Jesus himself came down, he was busy laying hands and people were getting healed and delivered. But then we saw an episode in Mark 6, he laid hands on some people and nothing happened and he marvelled at their unbelief. There is power in laying on of hands but it takes the faith of the recipient to take delivery. Church Gist. Without faith in the heart of the recipient, laying on of hands will not deliver anything. Jesus was given the Spirit without measure – John 3:34. All of us have little but Jesus had anointing without measure. Yet, he laid hands on people and they were not healed and he marvelled at their unbelief. It is your faith that qualifies you and me to take delivery through the mystery of laying on of hands.
A woman came from Atlanta, she had done 3 IVFs but nothing happened and she took a flight, came down here and I was on my way to the airport. She met me at the Secretariat front, one of my sons in the Lord said, “look, this person has a problem and came from Atlanta and that’s all she came for.” I said, woman I am going to the airport, I put my finger on her forehead and said, “receive your desire.” Church Gist. She became pregnant. I think there are 3 of those children now by one touch but with full faith in the heart. We had a young lady while we were in the old Church. She was a victim of sickle cell anaemia and one leg was shorter than the other. I laid hands on her at the lobby of the office, the leg grew out, sickle cell anaemia turned to AA.
Singing, “arise and be healed.”
It’s already done, we are only called to take delivery through the scriptural channels he has made available to us among which is laying on of hands. But faith must arise in your heart. No matter the level of anointing, without faith in your heart, you can’t take delivery. James 1:7-8. So, rise and be healed – singing. There is no access to healing and deliverance without your faith. Therefore let faith arise in your heart. I’ve come to the Weep Not Saviour, I’ve come to the Saviour that terminates tears. Church Gist. I’ve come to the Saviour that stops gnashing of teeth. Today, your case is settled, your testimony is here. The barren shall be fruitful, the oppressed shall be set free, the sick shall be healed, the ones under spells and enchantment shall be set free. Mark 9:23. Today is your day! He has opened the book to stop your tears. Mark 16:17-18 – in my name. So when we lay hands on people, we are laying those hands in his name. We are invoking the unction on him to flow through to those individuals. It is his virtue that flows into the sick to heal them. When any pastor thinks that when I lay hands on you, the anointing on me just came, it’s the anointing of Jesus that flows.
Acts 3:16. So it’s our faith in him that provokes the unction in him to flow into the sick and the oppressed and set them free. So what we are doing when we lay hands and we say in the name of Jesus Christ, we are bringing the virtue on Jesus to bear. Church Gist. His unction flows in. That’s why you don’t feel anything when it happens. You don’t feel it because nothing is gone out of you, it only passed through you. It didn’t come out of you, when it came out of Jesus he knew. When virtue went out of his body he knew. Now, I’ve never known virtue gone out of me.
They brought a dead child in Freetown, the child died in the night and the woman said, “I learnt this prophet is coming to town today.” She’s not a believer, she came. We were in the Leadership Summit, she sat down with the dead. We are not talking about healing. So after we were done with the Summit and I was to see some pastors upstairs in the first floor, here was the dead child and the mother. I held the child, there’s no point asking what has happened – you can see it. So I laid hands on the child, “rise up in the name of Jesus!” Church Gist. I went up, I came back, the child will not rise. I said, “child I am going to the airport; in the name of Jesus, rise!” So we left. Before we got to the airport, a shout – the child has come back! …and nothing left me o. Faith in his name – as hand was laid, virtue came from him and raised him back to life. Now today, as hand will be laid on you, just imagine, “can the virtue of Jesus heal me? Can the anointing on Jesus set me free?” That’s it. It’s not the virtue on Papa, it’s not the virtue on the Pastors, it’s the virtue from Jesus. We lay hands and his virtue goes through and sets free the captive. No one owns the virtue. They said, “give us some of your oil,” in the parable of the 5 foolish virgins. They said, “lest there be not enough for us and you: go to them that sell and buy for yourself – Matthew 25:8-9. This virtue is not from me – it’s Jesus and I don’t own the virtue. The virtue I own is for me, the one you have is for you but because we are limited and he is unlimited, he gave us his name so we can access his unlimited virtue to deal with our special issues. As hand is laid on you, the virtue of Jesus will go through and will set you free. Church Gist. The virtue of Jesus as you believe will go through into your life and cause every dying thing to come back to life and bring every dead thing back to life in the name of Jesus!
That woman believed in the name of Jesus and that brought her child back to life. Do you believe in the name of Jesus? As hand is laid on you today, you will be set free forever!
Give the Lord a big hand!
Now quickly before we administer the virtue of Jesus, every challenged individual here, healing is children’s bread. What comes to people at times are the crumbs from the table. Church Gist. But when you are saved, you have access to the table. Therefore, if you’re here this morning, you know that you know that you’re not born again yet, that you don’t have the evidence of salvation in your life, 1 John 5:4, we live in a wicked world. 1 John 5:19; 1 John 5:4.
Altar Call:
Lift up your two hands and give God thanks. Whatever he does is forever, there shall be no reversal in the name of Jesus! So shall it be! If you heard the Word of Jesus very carefully, “they shall lay hands upon the sick and they shall recover.” So there is always that recovery process so when your faith is in place the recovery process is set in motion. Jesus said to that man, “Go, thy son is made whole” and he asked what time did he begin to amend? Church Gist. They said the 7th hour. “Oh that was the time Jesus said” but he began to amend. So your body is amending, it is a recovery process. Don’t ever say in your heart, “Nothing happened,” that will terminate the process. Can somebody be pregnant in the Service? The Word has gone forth, the process has begun and the one called barren is now turned to a mother of children. You came with stroke perhaps and hand has been laid on you, your process of recovery has begun – don’t terminate it by saying, “they laid hands on me and it didn’t happen.” – No, it does happen. A recovery has taken place, a recovery process has begun. Don’t trash your Miracle by ignorance, the process has begun. Church Gist. You came with a blood condition, it can’t be tested here, it’s when you go out you test it and then they say it’s no longer there. The recovery process has begun.
I want you to have a recovery mentality. When the virtue is released, the recovery process begins. Jesus said, “as you go, be cleansed” and as they went, they were cleansed but that was not the “whole,” that was not the end and then someone came to say, “Thank you Jesus” and he was made whole. So it’s a process.
So if you get out of here, (and begin to say) “Nothing happened nothing happened,” you have stopped the happening. What we have as instant testimonies is to show that the virtue has gone forth and so, whether your own happens instantly or through a process of mending, it has happened. Church Gist. When you receive the Word of Truth, it grows up – first the blade, it’s undergoing a process and then it begins to flower and after that the full comb. We need this process mentality to make the most of our walk with God.
Good news! The process of your recovery has begun. Many here will testify next Tuesday that hand was laid on me and my leg grew out, paralysis went off, stroke disappeared, my mental system restored. Church Gist. That is the way of God. Isaiah 59:8. It’s a process, it has begun.
