Wonders of Commitment

We thank God for all He has already done, and we will continue to thank Him for what He will do.
Tonight we will look at the Wonders of Commitment
What do we mean by commitment?
It is total and absolute surrender, once and for all time for example, the wedding vows.
The God we serve never does things in half measures.
No half blessings.
Psalm 23:5.
Luke 5:1-7.
No half breakthrough with God.
There is no half measure kind of healing with God, 2 Kings 5:1-14.
When God heals, He doesn’t leave behind anything.
I had a successful medical doctor uncle, he told me doctors don’t like medicines because it leaves behind an aftermath.
He doesn’t promote half way.
1 Samuel 2:8, Deuteronomy 28:13.
He doesn’t heal halfway. Mark 5:2-20.
The blessings God will give you will be absolute and complete, your healing is complete in Jesus name.
When God gives victory, it is absolute.
1 Samuel 17:34-51
(David and Goliath)
The elders say don’t play with a snake that has its head up.
When God decides to take care of your enemies, He will do a perfect job.
Philippians 1:6.
God doesn’t take you halfway, He completes what He starts
There is no halfway salvation, you are either saved or not.
Hebrews 7:24-25.
No half measures with God.
He demands commitment.
Matthew 12:25-30
He will not force you to be committed to Him. Revelation 3:15-16
I always say, don’t give me a warm welcome when l visit, make it cold or hot because my God doesn’t like anything warm, it is either cold or hot.
If you want to praise Him, praise Him.
In Deuteronomy 30:19-20,He gives you advice, He won’t force you.
The Wonders of Commitment:
Commit your body to Him.
Romans 12:1.
Daniel 1:1-20
(Daniel and his friends refused to eat the king’s meal).
Daniel 6:1-28.
Don’t listen to those who say God is only interested in your spirit. That you can do anything you want with your body, that is not my God.
God is interested in all of you, God wants you to present your body a living sacrifice.
Which man is happy that his wife cheats with another?
Which woman is happy that her husband is unfaithful.
When you love Him with all your soul, you will discover that your wisdom will become difficult to explain.
Daniel 2:20-22.
James 1:5.
God gives wisdom liberally. Daniel had excellent wisdom.
Daniel 5:1-31.
When you commit your spirit to Him.
Numbers 14:20-24.
He will make sure you reach your goal.
Daniel 6:1-3
Why You Should Make Up Your Mind To Be Committed:
. Consider Joshua in Joshua 24:15.
Joshua 10:12-14.
Consider Elijah in 1 Kings 18.
He stood before a whole nation.
Elijah prayed and fire fell, 1 Kings 17:18-24
He was the first in the Bible to raise the dead.
. Consider Elisha
1 Kings 19:19-21
The moment the mantle of Elijah fell on him, he became for him thunder 2 Kings 14:18-21.
. Consider Peter in Luke 5:1-11.
Peter surrendered all and followed Jesus.
Acts 5:12-16.
Consider Paul in Philippians 3:5-11.
Let everything go for Christ.
In Acts 19:11-17, God performed special miracles through him. He became well known, a terror to the kingdom of darkness.
I want you to come out of this Convention with demons testifying that they know Jesus and they know you.
Paul finished well.
Those of you who have struggles with the forces of darkness do you know it might simply be because you are not committed to God. Consider Peter in Acts 5 and 12, no prison could hold him.
I am believing God for those of you in any form of bondage, you will be delivered tonight
Proverbs 8:17
Proverbs 8:36
Any part of your life that is not committed to God is where you have problems with satan.
Total commitment:
If everything that is yours will be committed to God, God will take care of His own.
Make up your mind and take a decision tonight, you will find out that there are tremendous wonders in being committed to God.
If you want to surrender to Him hundred percent tonight, cry out to Him and the rest of us who claim to already be children of the Living God, think about your commitment tonight and pray.
Now that you have heard the Word, decide how you will relate with the Almighty God from now on.
Spend quality time talking to Him and He will prove Himself to be more than committed
