I THOUGHT I HAD CLOSED THE CHURCH IN EVERY STREET ONLY TO FIND OUT I HAD OPENED THE CHURCH IN EVERY HOUSE

THE CHURCH CANNOT BE DESTROYED
-The Egyptian Story by Bishop David Oyedepo

A king reigned and made a decree to have the doors of Churches shut for 9 years until the gates became rusty and the sanctuaries became the habitation of pigeons. Nine solid years. His name is called the wicked, the devil is called the wicked one.

I don’t know what the problem of the Church is now in all this: people that needs to be laid hands upon, they can’t find who will lay hands on them. Some are choking to death.
The good news is: it is over. The siege of spiritual famine being forced on the Church is over.
Innocent illiterates across the various villages and countryside, who can’t read or write, can’t hear from their Pastor. ChurchGist. There is no trace of corona virus anywhere there, they don’t even know the meaning.
There is no medical cure for starvation: your lungs are working, your heart is working, no virus, you will just die. The devil shall not have his way in destroying innocent lives anymore in the name of Jesus.

THE CHURCH CANNOT BE DESTROYED

The fourth Fatimid Caliph Al-Mu’izz li-Din Allah ruled from 953 AD to 975 AD and moved the centre of power of the Fatimid dynasty from Tunisia to Egypt. In persecuting the Church, he once issued a decree to close all Churches of the Coptic Christian communities in the land and to forbid the Church bells to ring. Capital punishment threatened anyone who dared to meet in the Church or even open a Church. ChurchGist. For 9 long years, the Churches were closed. The gates grew rusty and the pigeons took residence in the sanctuaries. Some of the faithful Christians travelled across the desert, seeking monasteries in the wilderness, so they could meet for prayer and worship. However, the majority of them could not afford the time to travel on foot across the desert, so they were forced to stay in their homes on Sundays. After 9 years the Caliph decided to see him for himself how the Coptic Christians were now crushed and silenced. In disguise, he set out on a Sunday and walked in the streets of their quarters of old Cairo; he heard the sound of their prayers, Bible readings and worship from every house that he passed by. His reaction was another decree, a famous quote:

“OPEN THEIR CHURCHES AND LET PRAY AS THEY PLEASE. I THOUGHT I HAD CLOSED THE CHURCH IN EVERY STREET, ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT I HAD OPENED A CHURCH IN EVERY HOUSE”.

Whatever keeps the market open, must keep the Church open or there is a question mark. There must be a sinister thing other than virus. ChurchGist.I just hope that authorities won’t push the Church to the wall and have a problem they can’t handle. As pastors, our hearts are after these flock. Church Gist. Jesus paid a blood price on them and we have a duty as His watchmen to ensure that these destinies are not sold for a piece of bread. ChurchGist.Without any doubt some are feeding fat under this noisesome pestilence and want it to prolong to as many days as they wish.
I decree the Churches across the nations are opened NOW.
